I just want to clarify for those, you know, unaware. If stories are showing less chapters than they should, reviews won't go in, or if it's taking a while to load, there's probably something wrong with FF. Again -_-
It was an early morning at the Owl House, and Luz, Eda, and King stepped out. "Hey, Hooty. Have you seen Luis or Lucia anywhere?" Eda asked.
"Just doing a little exercise out front," He answered, still facing forward. They closed the door and saw what he was referring to.
The two were in the middle of a sparring match and wearing different clothes for their training session. Luis kept on his shoes but the rest of his clothes were different with a blue tank top hoodie, scarlet and white-striped wristbands, and dark gray sweat shorts. Lucia didn't have on her beanie, but her exercise clothing was a white tank top, green track pants, and gray sneakers. The others saw the two engage in a flurry of punches and kicks being blocked and dodged by each other. Eda and King were impressed as they didn't think humans could fight like that.
"Why are they fighting?" King asked, oblivious to why they were doing this, "Did they have an argument about something?"
"No," Luz giggled as she answered while Luis leaned backward from a jumping spin kick from Lucia followed by a low sweep allowing the boy to backflip. "They just spar with each other every now and then just for the sake of staying in shape and improving their skills."
"I get that," Eda said, but then she thought of something "Hey, between the two of them who's the better fighter?"
"Well, Lucia has practiced kung fu since middle school, so she has the experience," Luz explained as Luis had his elbow blocked Lucia before pushing her away to perform a high kick. While dodging, Lucia managed to perform a low sweep, but Luis landed on his hands and straightened himself before continuing the match. "But she's been giving Luis private lessons for a while before he officially joined with her. Plus he and his friends aren't a group of slouches, and he's managed to hold a record of getting more wins than Lucia for a while. Right now, they're tied."
"Oh, you don't say." Eda said as she noticed the match was about to come to an end.
Luis deflected Lucia going for a punch, and grabbed her by the wrist, adjusting his body for the older girl to be behind him, and tossed her over his shoulder to the ground. The match comes to an end, and Luis lets go of her arm.
"Heh," Lucia chuckled as she got up and wiped the sweat from her forehead. "Nice one, manito."
"Thanks," He said in gratitude as they both bowed. "That brings me fifteen wins and fourteen losses. It's been a while since we've had a match like that." Then he noticed the others watching and they walked towards them, "Hey, guys. What's up?"
"Nothing much," Luz answered as they stopped in front of the group. "We were just seeing how your match would end."
"And not a moment too soon," Eda said as she summoned two cups of water for them, which they drank from. "If you two are done hitting each other, we can go now."
"Hang on, after all the sweat we've worked up, we need a shower." Lucia said as they walked past them into the Owl House, "Just give us a few minutes to get ready."
After walking upstairs, the older portions of Triple LN both took a shower and got dressed. Going downstairs, they saw everyone else waiting patiently for them.
"So, ready to head out?" Eda asked as she summoned her staff and headed out the door.
"Where exactly are we going?" Lucia asked as she adjusted her beanie while getting on the staff.
"Just on a little trip," Eda answered with an eager look on her face. Then they all flew off, "You three are going to witness something you thought you'd never see."
After some time it took to fly down to the beach, Triple LN, Eda, and King stood in front of something that was leaving the humans utterly disgusted.
"Well, kids!" Eda began as she nudged Luz, "Did any of you ever in your life think you'd see something as breathtaking as this?" She gestures to the corpse of a giant slug creature surrounded and coated by trash and muck.
"Oh, yeah, it's breathtaking, alright," Luis commented as he cringed. "Just not the way you think."
"Just to clarify, you brought us here for this?" Lucia had her hands pocketed as she just stared at the sight of the dead monster. Eda said they'd see something unbelievable, they just figured it'd be in a good way.
"Yeah, I'm not sure I like…" Luz agreed as she was looking very uncomfortable about what Eda was going to have them do, "Whatever it is I'm looking at."
Eda walks up to the creature to explain, "Yes, it doesn't get much more inspiring than the trash slug. It makes a home, a life from what others have thrown by the wayside," The Owl Lady pulled out a rubber chicken from the slug's mouth and tossed it. "Until, blam, it gets blasted by a wave one day and croaks from all the salt. And then we get to sell the stuff it ate." She pulls out a pickaxe and presents it to the group.
"Please don't make me," Luz spoke in horror.
"Rock hard pass, Owl Lady." Lucia took a hand out to shove the pickaxe downward.
"Dig through the remains of a dead monster corpse to find garbage to sell as treasure?" Luis asks before he immediately denies it. "No, thank you~!"
"Aw, come on, guys." King tells them as he walks away to unfurl a duck beach towel, "It's not everyday you get to go to the dump and pick apart a garbage carcass." He said sarcastically.
"Ah, nuts to all ya." Eda swings her axe at the trash slug, causing the trio to flinch.
"So, Eda…" Luz started off as they winced again as Eda took another swing. "What if we tried some new lessons for our apprenticeship? Like…" Another thud was heard as she continued. "Read ancient scrolls."
Luis spoke next, "Or mix together potions."
"Or, actually, anything that doesn't include…all this." Lucia waves her hand toward the giant slug corpse.
"Ugh," Eda groaned while tossing an old telephone line from the trash slug's mouth. "That sounds like a bunch of magic school stuff."
"Whoa, whoa, back up a sec," What the elder woman said actually got all three of their attention. "There's a magic school here?" Lucia asked in curiosity.
Luz clasped her hands, "Like winding towers, cute uniforms, dark plots that threaten your life, kind of magic school?"
"Mm-hmm." Eda confirmed as dropped some garbage from her hands, "What's worse, they force you to learn magic the 'proper' way."
"I take it you have your reasons for not approving of it." Luis hunched a guess.
"My reasons are that magic isn't proper. It's wild and unpredictable. And that's why it's so beautiful," She explained to the kids as they just kept staring. "I didn't finish school, and look at me!" She gestured to her situation of being waist-deep in garbage as flies were flying around the trash pile she was standing in. "Who wouldn't envy where I am right now?" She asked rhetorically, failing to see that this life isn't for everyone; or anyone.
Luz's expression falls, as her two older siblings glance at each other deadpanning, "Do you want this one, or can I have it?" Lucia asked.
Luis's arms were crossed as he answered, "Eh, knock yourself out."
Lucia looks at the Owl Lady, "I can answer that in one word, 'everyone.' Or two words, 'literally everyone.' Or 37, 'There is no one in their right mind, human, witch, demon or otherwise who would want to be caught dead digging through the rotting corpse of a giant monster slug for garbage to sell off as valuables!'" She raised her free hand out to point a finger at Eda.
Both Eda and Luz stood astonished with their mouths slightly gaped and the elder witch double blinked, "How did…you count so-?" She shakes her head to snap out of her stupor, "Never mind. What are you trying to say?"
"Let me get this straight," Lucia rubbed her temple to see if she could summarize Eda's situation. "Instead of wanting to be taught how to use magic the right way and make a real living for yourself, you the so-called 'most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles' dropped out of school because you didn't approve of their methods, and is now living life on the run and doing irrational things like digging through the remains of a dead monster to find things to sell to make ends meet?" She summarized in a dry tone and a matching expression.
"Wow," Luz said, feeling impressed and shocked. She knew her brother and sister tended to talk a lot when they wanted to, but she has never heard either of them say that much before, "That has to be the most I've ever heard you or Luis say at one time."
"That's because you're hardly around whenever we listen to any of Glen's gossip around school." The oldest then looked back at Eda, "But does that sum up your situation?"
"Uh…" Eda looked around her and saw her point of how this may not be a good example of becoming an ideal witch, "I guess when you say it out loud and put it like that, it does sound pretty bad." She drops her pickaxe and walks over to Luz to try to prove she can be a good mentor, "Hey, here's a lesson. A great witch is resourceful, like this." Eda dragged Luz's hand back and forth through some green slime before Luz continued digging until she pulled something out.
"Oh, hey. Greasy slimeball." Luz said looking disappointed.
Eda closes Luz's hands around the slimeball, "Use your slimeball wisely, young witch." Then she turns her attention to Lucia and Luis, "You two want in on this?"
They were still unconvinced, "Second verse, same as the first." Lucia began, "Rock hard pass."
"No, thank you~!"
"Whatever," Eda rolled her eyes and stood up. "Time to get back at it! We'll hit the stink nodes first."
"Yeah, that's not happening," Lucia denied their mentor. "If it's all the same with you, we're gonna head back to the house. I've got some design sketches to get done." She told the Owl Lady.
"I'm just gonna get my board perform some skate tricks around town." Luis points his thumb to himself.
"And I think I'm just gonna look at pictures of animals that are still... alive." Luz bent down to rub his tummy, causing him to giggle, "Love you, King. You little beach peach.
"See back at home, little dude." Luis holds his fist out to King and pumps it with his. Once they left, he went back to relaxing.
"More for me, then," Eda shrugged and crawled into the slug's mouth. "There we go. Okay," She started tossing random junk like a cheese grater, an electric fan, and a tuba which landed on King's head.
"Ow!" He exclaimed as he wiggled around, trying to get it off.
"This is awesome!" Eda shouted from inside.
Season 1 Intro
The portal door appears and opens showing Luz, Luis, and Lucia seemingly going through the sky upwards, but they were actually falling. Eda rescues the human trio, and along with King, appear flying the Owl Staff, in the direction of The Owl House.
Afterward, it then showed Hooty at the front door, which opened to show Luz twirling the staff until Eda took said staff back with Luz getting nervous as Luke and Lucia smirk at her before King pops up in front to wave with his arms outstretched.
Then a mural appears with Willow, Gus, and Amity in three frames, with Willow making a heart with her hands, Gus holding out his arms in celebration, and Amity just turning her back with crossed arms.
King appears holding a stuffed rabbit, along with many other stuffed animals around. He pretends to rule these stuffed animals, until some of them fall on him.
Triple LN are Eda's staff flying over Bonesborough, where they meet the big-nosed prisoner, Tinella Nosa, and give high-fives to Willow and Gus. Then, Eda and King appeared while running from the guards before the Noceda trio helped them escape only to lose control of the staff, and they appeared safe… until they hang on for dear life as a massive monstrous worm-like monster, mouth wide open, lunges at them as they scream in horror.
Then five of them are seen on the roof of the Owl House, where the three humans cast their Light Spell, making them go into the night before they each explode in a bright light with "The Owl House" logo appearing with the Light spell streaking across it with background sounds.
Elsewhere in the forest, the humans were walking down the path, as Luz glared at the slimeball.
"Well, that was a big waste of time," Lucia said as they continued walking through the woods.
"Ugh! If magic's all about digging for slime balls, maybe I don't have the stomach for it." Luz stated as she pocketed the slime ball.
"You can do it! You can!" A girl's voice interrupted them.
"Mysterious voice of encouragement?" Triple LN through the bushes and gasps at the sight of a chubby girl who has light skin, pointy ears, and short dark blue hair. She wore black-framed glasses in front of a pair of olive-green eyes and some kind of uniform that consisted of a gray tunic with a dark gray belt, cowl, and boots. Her sleeves and leggings were an orchid color. "No! Little witch girl."
"You can do it," The girl told herself as she paced around. "Even if you get a bad grade, it's not a reflection of you as a witch. And my parents are right. There are better opportunities on this track. Now, get to school!" She stepped forward confidently, but she realized she crushed a flower. "Oh, no! Oh, little friend! I'm sorry!" She traces a green spell circle and green orbs sprinkle all over the flower bringing it back to life, causing the three humans to gasp.
The girl's ear started wiggling at the sound of something rumbling. She looks up as a wagon, being moved by magic, rolls to a stop in front of her, carrying a pot and a girl reading a book. The new girl had pale skin, two-toned, chin-length aquamarine-green hair with a brown patch in front with a small ponytail pulling the front of hair out of her face, black triangle-shaped earrings, and bright golden eyes. She also wore the same uniform in the same colors as the first girl, though she had a star pin on her cowl.
She looked away from her book and smirked down at her, "Willow!" She closes her book and hops off the pot. "Wow. You're so unnoticeable I almost rolled into ya." She chuckles as the flower dies again.
Willow stands up and addresses her annoyed, "Hi, Amity."
"Uh, Shouldn't you get to class early to prep your…" Their attention was focused on Willow's wheelbarrow which shook a little and fell over, spilling a pile of purple sludge that groaned and a blinking eye. "Oh, Willow. You don't have anything to show, do you?" Amity said in fake sympathy as she shook her head knowingly.
"Witch drama!" Luz whispered out, causing her siblings to slap her mouth shut.
Willow pulled her hood over her head, blushing in embarrassment and looking away. Amity sighed at her, "This is why people call you 'Half-a-Witch Willow'." Her cauldron shook, and Amity looked at it knowingly. "Oh, looks like someone wants to say something to you." She removed the cover, and stood in front, crossing her arms. "Abomination…" Amity snapped her fingers, "Rise." A purple golem-like creature made of sludge rises out of the pot.
It bends down to Willow, and draws something on her forehead, "You're a... star." It was a small purple star, but it didn't make her feel better.
"Aw. It's like mine," She readjusts her badge on her cowl with it reading 'Top Student'. "But much smaller and meaningless. As top student, it's my duty to tell you to keep at it," She teased as she wrapped an arm around Willow. "Even you could get a passing grade someday. Abomination, cower." It groans as it melts back into the pot that Amity places a lid on before she leaves, "See you in class, superstar."
As Amity walks away, Willow removes her hood with a frown, and the Nocedas glared at the girl as Luz stuck her tongue out at her.
"'Oh, see you in class, superstar!'" Willow mocked as she wiped the star from her forehead, "I hate when she does that." The humans continued to watch her in sympathy. Then the wind started to blow leaves around Willow as she ranted, "I hate making abominations. I hate getting bad grades. Ugh! I can't stand this anymore." She gave a shout as her eyes started to glow green.
Triple LN gasped as the dead flower sprouted into giant thorny vines that surrounded Willow as she started glowing and writhing angrily. One vines snakes out and grabs Luz by the ankle causing her to shout as she was pulled out of the bushes, and her siblings look in horror. The root drops her on the ground a bit behind Willow, who turns and glares at her, her eyes still glowing.
Back to the beach, where Eda is tying a sack to her staff as King is sitting on a trash pile, "Not a bad haul. That oviduct was loaded."
"Ah. Lose apprentices, gain garbage eggs. Fair trade," King stated mockingly.
His comment earned a scoff from Eda as she looked at him, "I didn't lose anything."
"If you don't teach those three right, you will. And you have to admit, Lucia had a point. I mean, your methods don't exactly scream 'Influential Witch Mentor'," King gestured to how she just wasted the whole morning digging for trash eggs from a giant slug. "Eventually, it'll only be a matter of time before they lose interest. Heck, the older ones don't seem to have that much respect for you to begin with." He stands on the trash pile, "And that's when I'll step in, make them my apprentices." He pointed his thumb to himself.
"Ha!" Eda laughs at how ridiculous that sounds, "And what would you teach? How to get stuck in the arm of a sweater?" She teased.
"Hey, that only happened once!" He protested as he pointed at her. Then he stood with pride, "I'd teach them about demons. How to identify them, talk to 'em, raise an army with them, and tear apart the world!" King declared.
Eda leaned on her floating staff, "After they tear you out of the sweater arm, right?"
"You think you're so smart!" King was really annoyed by her belittling and slid down from the pile of garbage, "Well, why don't we make a little bet, where I can prove that I'd make a better teacher." He challenged.
"Okay." Eda smirks at him as she reaches into her hair, and pulls out a book called 'Eda King One Sided Wagers'. "I'm obligated to remind you that I only use our bets to utterly humiliate you," She leaned forward and opened it to Eda to reveal she's won multiple times and King hasn't won any, "And...that you've never won."
"I like those odds."
"So how's this?" Eda grabs an egg and presents it to him, "Teach this trash slug to be your loyal soldier in one day. Prove that you can be a better teacher than me, and Triple LN are all yours." She starts off before issuing her terms, "But if you don't, I change your name from King to...Mr. Wiggles."
"Well, when you lose, you'll have to…" King pauses to give his own punishment, "Wear a shame hat and sleep in a shack, and never come into the Owl House again! Ha!"
"Deal." She agreed.
Eda held up the book to him as she already had her name signed on it. King squeaked as he pressed his paw against the page as his signature. Eda tossed him the egg and King tried to grab it, but it slipped and hatched when it landed on his head. It slid off his skull and he managed to catch it. He looked up to see Eda walking away with a laugh.
Back in the forest, Luz continued staring as the roots were still writing around Willow. Her siblings couldn't watch this any longer, so they rushed out. More vines came at them, but they dodged them as they moved closer. Luis grabbed a few that almost hit Luz as Lucia jumped over some more vines to flip behind Willow.
"Somebody needs a time-out!" Lucia double-slapped Willow's nerve points in her ears causing her to finally snap out of her enraged state. Her eyes went back to normal and she fell forward.
Lucia then helped Luis unwrap the vines off Luz's legs, "Whoa. You really let her have it." The younger girl was impressed.
"In the state she was in, she didn't leave me much choice."
Willow came to and rubbed one of her ears, "Ow! Why would you do something like that?" She whined before looking up to see vines around Luz's leg. Her expression worries, "Oh, no, no, no, no, no! I'm so sorry!" She apologizes as she rushes over to unwrap the vines around Luz's legs.
Luz rubbed her leg, "It's okay. The thorns only went through a few layers of skin." She assured her.
"And sorry for knocking you out like that," Lucia apologized too. "It was the best method I could think of without actually hurting you."
Willow got a closer look at the trio and took particular notice of their ears, "So...circly." They yelped and held each other's ears. Willow gasped in realization, and her eyes shined. "You're humans!" She held Luz by the cheeks, "This is astounding! Not one, but three humans on the Boiling Isles!" She then helped them up as she excitedly examined them. "How'd you three get here? What are you doing here? How did the big one knock me out like that?" She asked as she was under Luis's arm.
"Wow," Luis chuckled at her first human experience. It was actually kinda cute. "And to think I often call you Eager Beaver." Luz blushed as she nudged her brother with a playful smile.
Then the distant sound of a bell was heard and Willow was disappointed as she lowered Luis's arm. "Uh, I'm sorry. I can't stay. I have to go disappoint my teacher. It was nice to meet you, humans," She walks away, waving sadly at them.
Luis stops her, "Wait a sec. We haven't been properly introduced." He gestures to himself, "I'm Luis. And these are sisters, Lucia and Luz. But call us Triple LN," He greeted as his sisters waved. "And you're Willow, right? We were looking through the bushes, and what you did with that flower and those plants, that was amazing."
"Thanks." Willow smiled at the compliment. "But…I'm not even supposed to be doing plant magic." Her smile dropped to why, "My parents put me in the abomination track at school."
Luz squealed happily as she grabbed Willow by the arms, "Like, magic school?" Willow nodded, causing Luz to smile greatly. "That's so cool!" She exclaimed letting go of the witch. "We're so jealous. We have a teacher, but her lessons are a bit…"
"Grotesque?" Luis brought up before Lucia followed.
"Bizarre?"
"Untraditional. But good guesses," Luz then refocused on the magic school. "I bet she wouldn't even let any of us enroll," She slumped her shoulders before standing straight. "But I wish we could spend one day there."
"I wish I could get a passing grade for once," Willow confessed before looking down to the Abomination puddle. "Then people would stop calling me 'Half-a-Witch Willow,'" She kicked the puddle causing the eyes to float by the humans.
"Hmm…" Luz looks at the puddle in thought and looks at Luis and Lucia, "You guys thinking what I'm thinking?"
"I get the sense I'm not going to like this." Lucia groaned thinking she'd get out of getting coated in slime.
All three of them scooped up some abomination goo and splashed them onto their clothes. "Make us your abominations." Willow was confused by what she suggested. "We'll get you a good grade, and you can get us into magic school. It's fiendishly clever." She said confidently with crossed arms.
"What?"
"Yeah, I'm not exactly sure this is a good idea, manita." The eldest told her sister.
"Oh, don't be like that." Luz told her, "We all saw that girl's thing. It's just chunks of stuff that talks weird. We're chunks of stuff, and we talk weird!"
"For the record, she does not speak for the two of us," Luis told Willow before he spoke seriously to her. "But look, you want a good grade, we want to see what your school is like. We can help each other out," He said, describing this as a win-win situation. "Besides, if we pull this off, no one can call you 'Half-a-Witch Willow' again. I see you as someone who has a lot of buried potential in her. And you just need help to bring it out."
Willow blushed, "Oh…Thank you. And I guess it's true that no one will know the difference," She giggled and brought a hand out, "Okay. It's a deal. Triple LN," She shook hands with Luis and they looked at them before each other's faces. They looked away with a blush, and the other girls smirked at each other knowing what was going on. When Luis tried to separate their hands, they were stuck together, "Oops. Abomination goo."
Luis pulls even harder but the force sends him splashing in the goo on the ground. "Fantastic." Lucia giggles, annoying her brother. He retorts by giving her a low sweep to her feet, causing her to fall face-first into the slime. Lucia gets up, and shakes the goo off her face, "That's what you get." Lucia glares as her brother spins in a breakdance fashion, and does a quick handstand before standing back on his feet. Then he had a thought, "Hey, I'm curious. All you have to do is show off your Abomination's uses, right?"
"In short, yes…" Willow was curious to know what Luis was thinking.
"In that case, can we make a request?" The girls looked at each other as Luz held up Lucia, wondering what he had in mind. "Nothing big. Just want to give our brand of showmanship."
Later, Willow is pushing her up to the front of her school. It was a large building made from stone and looked like a castle with a bell tower in the middle with other students walking in.
"Welcome to Hexside School of Magic and Demonics." She introduced as the three were in that cauldron, "Remember to stay hidden, okay?"
Luz squeals and giggles as she looks up at the building from inside, "Easy, sis."
Lucia also peaked out, "As I expected." She noted the other kids were wearing uniforms similar to Willow and Amity's, but in different colors, "Students here are a colorful bunch."
On the inside of Hexside, Willow stops at a locker, tickling it to make it open its mouth and give her her books. Her attention was brought to someone bumping into her, and it was by a shorter witch reading a human tween magazine with a girl with braces on the cover. He was a young boy with brown skin, dark blue eyes, and dark brown hair with lighter shades. And like the other students, he wore the same uniform, but with light blue sleeves and leggings.
"Willow, you would not believe humans." He addressed, not even looking up from his magazine.
"Humans?" She scoffed as she looked away with wide eyes, "I haven't seen any. What?" She squeaked.
"Did you know…" He showed her his magazine of a human girl with braces, "That humans nail barbed wire to their kids' teeth?" He turned it back to himself. "But why? Maybe to make them magnetic."
"Actually, it's for storing treats—Ow!" Luz was interrupted by her siblings smacking her. Willow looked at the boy in worry as he arched an eyebrow in confusion.
Willow placed her book in her cart, "Okay, Augustus. I'm gonna tell you something. But you have to be cool." She told the boy now known as Augustus.
"I can be spool," He stuttered as he corrected himself, "I mean, cool."
Willow turns to her cauldron, "Okay. Abomination, rise."
Triple LN stood in the pot, "Ta-da! We're abominations." Luz presented themselves as her brother and sister shook their heads.
"Luz, that's not how abominations act." Willow told her.
Augustus drops his magazine and slaps his cheeks, "No. No, it…" He with his ears while staring at humans'. "It couldn't be."
"He's the president of the Human Appreciation Society." Willow explained gesturing to the boy, "Most witches wouldn't be able to recognize a human right away. But Augustus is an expert."
"Where are your gills?"
"Really?" Luis raised an eyebrow, "If he's such an expert, then why is he comparing us to mermaids?" He was slapped on the back of his head by Lucia. "Ay! What? He did."
"More importantly, I know an Augustus back in the human world at this department store where I work at." Lucia bent down on the cauldron's rim to the kid, "We call him Gus."
"Gus?" The boy slapped his hands on his cheeks in excitement, "Nickname? Human nickname? Gus? Call me it." He spread his arms as he felt praised. "Wow. Gus! This is the best day of my life!"
"You are a weird little dude." Luis told him honestly. He then ruffles Luz's hair, "Our kid sister is gonna love you two." Luz smiles.
The bell rang/screamed really to signal it was for class. "I've gotta get to spelling class," Gus picked up the magazine and took out a want. "See you guys at lunch!"
Willow waved goodbye at him before turning to TLN. "Alright, into the darkness you go." Luz hissed at her before they sank back into the cauldron.
Back at the Owl House, King was seen waving dog treats at the trash slug, "Aw, who's a good Prince Jr? Who's a good guy?"
"Hey, Mr. Wiggles." Eda called out, getting his attention, "You're not gonna teach it anything doing that." She taunted while sitting in a lounge chair, with a bizarre drink on a small table next to her.
"It's called positive reinforcement, Eda. And it works wonders," He explained his method. The slug ate the treat from his paw, and started to double in size, "Ha-ha! See? Now watch this," He held up another treat to get the slug's attention. "Prince Jr! Attack Eda! Knock over her drink! Mess up her hair!" Instead of following his orders, the slug's attention was laying only on the treat.
"Oh no. Please stop," Eda said in a sarcastic tone.
"Well, I haven't seen any of your students in forever," King argued with the old witch. "For all we know, Luis and Lucia's influence has finally gotten to Luz, and now all three of them aren't even loyal to you anymore; assuming there was any to begin with." He said with a hand on his hip that the slug ate the treat out of.
"Ha-ha-ha, you wish." Eda dismissed before seeing his point, "But yeah. Where are they?"
Back at Hexside, students were headed into their Abomination 101 class. Of course, some of them had the same wrecked nerves as Willow before she met up with Amity today.
"Hope I pass."
"I'm confident about this." Said Mary, an Abomination student with ram horns.
She stood at the front of the room with the Abomination teacher, Professor Hermonculus. He was a stubby and short humanoid creature with pointed ears, a round beak-like mouth with two fangs on the top row of his teeth, two claws on each foot, and narrow eyes behind orange-tinted circular glasses. He had green, chin-length hair with a large bald spot on the top of his head, inward-facing eyebrows, and a small green beard. The rest of his uniform consisted of a black shirt and pants with an oversized purple coat with a red lining and a light silver bow tie around his neck. He was currently being held by his own abomination as he was examining Mary's abomination with eight feet sticking out of it in various places.
"Hmm. Too many toenails in unexpected places. Fail. Pathetic!" The abomination and Mary wheels her abomination off the platform at the front of the room. "The biggest abominations are all of you!" He declared the rest of his students, which included Amity, Willow, a male student with spikes on his head, a female student who appeared to be a cyclops with brown hair in a bun, and another male student who was a minotaur with a nose ring.
'Eesh,' Luis cringed as he peeked out of the cauldron, 'Is that any way for a teacher to talk to their students?' He thought.
"If the next abomination is a failure, everyone gets extra homework for a month!" He declared.
"Extra homework again?" Questioned the minotaur student in disbelief as others grumbled, "Please tell us you're joking!"
"No, Gregor, I am not. Pray the next one passes," The teacher said in a stern tone. Then he cleared his throat, "And the next one to come up is…"
"Excuse me, sir," Amity stood with a raised hand, "But I am ready to present my abomination. Rise!" Hers rises from its pot, groaning as it strikes a pose.
"Teacher's pet," Grumbled the cyclops as she rolled her eye causing Amity to glare at her upon hearing her comment.
"Now, Iva, there's no need for petty jealousy," Hermonculus chuckles as he turns to Amity. "And I've made it a habit to always save the best for last, Amity. You'll have to wait your turn," He then closed his eyes to decide his choice, "How about...Willow?" He turns to the girl.
"You can't seriously mean Half-a-Witch." Gregor complains as Willow pulls her hood up.
Mary agreed with the minotaur, "Great. Homework for a month."
"Hey, don't listen to these losers, Willow," She looks at Luis. "You just give the commands, and we'll do the rest." Willow gives Luis a small smile and nods as he dives back in the pot, "You girls get ready."
Willow wheels her pot to the front of the room and nervously readies to present, "Uh... Abominations, rise."
The lid was punched off and TLN jumped out with Luz landing on Luis and Lucia's shoulders, "Ta-da!" They posed in front of the class causing them to gasp.
"Abominations, bow." Willow ordered them, and they did so as instructed.
"Very impressive." Hermonculus smiled at his student's projects, "Not one, but three abominations. But do they speak?"
"We will follow you to the ends of the world, master." Lucia held Willow's shoulder.
"Your potential is like a seed ready to sprout and grow like wildflowers." Luis gave a poetic outlook causing Willow to blush.
His sisters smiled at him before Luz gave her turn, "Uh, I may be your abomination, but you're my a-mom-ination." She held Willow's hands and their cheeks together.
The students gushed at how cute and supportive they were as Amity looked back and forth in disbelief. Even Professor Hermonculus laughed, finding this presentation appealing, "The support, the love, the splendid wordplay of 'A-mom-ination!'." The cyclops student raises her hand, "Yes, Iva?" He called to her.
"Can they do anything else?" She asked curiously. "Like, can they perform some entertainment?" Willow smirked at her question.
"May I?" Willow asked the teacher.
"By all means."
She then smiled at Triple LN, "Abominations, break it down."
Luz then began to beatbox as her siblings dropped down on their hands to the amazement of the entire class and Hermonculus, and spun their entire bodies around, performing a break dance. The entire class was amazed by how synchronized their movements were and gasped in awe when spun on their heads before flipping back up on their feet, striking a pose back to back.
"Incredible! They can dance as well. And with such synchronization! A plus!" Hermonculus wrote the grade on Luis's head, and he winked at Willow.
The students cheer at their performance and for having no extra homework for a month. But Amity grew suspicious and crossed her arms.
The bell rings/screams, but coughs over how much it had to keep doing that. Students are seen leaving their classrooms and flooding the halls as Willow pushes her cart.
"Wonderful work today, Willow. Looks like we have a new top student," Amity, who was just leaving the room, stops and gasps upon hearing that and drops her books.
Hermonculus takes her top student badge. Amity growls and tries to reach for it, "But…"
The abomination professor pins the badge to Willow's cowl, and she accepts it with gratitude, "Uh, thank you, sir." He nodded and walked off, and Willow turned to leave for her next class.
"Hey," Unfortunately for Willow, Amity was blocking her path and was not happy.
"Ami—Wait," Her shocked expression quickly turned to confusion as she looked back at the classroom door. "How are you here when you were right there not two seconds ago?" She paused before venturing a guess, "Did you recently learn teleportation spells?"
"Not exactly, but I have been thinking abo—Bup-bup-bup-bup!" She narrowed her eyes at Willow for almost getting her off track, "Don't try to distract me when I'm the one asking the questions here." The girl told her classmate in a strict tone, "Starting with how the last time I saw you, your abomination was mush. And you barely had even had one, let alone three. What did you do?"
Willow adjusted her glasses, "I, uh, took your pep talk to heart, Amity." She smiled sheepishly at the other girl.
"I bet you did. I've got my eyes on you, Half-a-Witch," She declares as she walks backwards with crossed arms. "That badge is mine." Amity never broke eye contact with Willow as she bumped into a short student in an orange uniform.
"Hey!" The student continued walking as he glared at Amity as she rounded the corner.
"Uh-oh. I think Amity is onto us," Willow placed a hand on her cheek.
Back at the Owl House, Eda slammed the door open, smacking Hooty's face into the wall. "Ow!" He glared at her as he was pulled off.
"Have you seen TLN?" Eda questioned him.
"I heard their tiny mouse feet walking close by. Or that might've been some mice," He'd shrug if he had shoulders. Then he focused back on the humans, "Anyway, someone started moving in that direction," He started hooting as he gestured with his head.
Eda just stared at him in confusion, "Are you trying to point, or...?"
"Look at the weather vane!" He shouted at her.
Eda backed away to look at the vane to see it was pointing north, "But the only thing that way is the…" Her eyes widened as she gasped, "No." Then she started through the forest in said direction. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Eventually, she arrived at Hexside.
She peeked through a window to see a kindergarten class, "Okay, everyone. Recite your runes," A spider teacher instructed the toddlers.
"Krom, Zix, Elgrim, Zenomide…"
"No," Eda looked in horror. "Blind obedience."
She looked into another class being taught by a snake teacher, "Heximal system time! Let's get memorizin'!" His students started writing.
"No! Pointless busywork!" She held her head before looking through one more class. There she sees the Nocedas still covered in abomination while writing things on paper with Willow. "No!" She slid down on the window. Then she shouted to the sky, "Why?! SCHOOL!"
"Did anyone else hear Eda?" Lucia asked, but her hermanitos shrugged, then they went back to writing.
Later, at the cafeteria, Luz, Luis, and Lucia were back in the pot and sitting at the end of a table with Willow and Gus, the latter offering a sandwich, "Hey. Do humans eat PB&Js?"
"Oh my gosh, we haven't eaten real food in so long, please give me some." Gus breaks his sandwich in half and gives Luz one. She breaks it in threes and gives the others to her brother and sister, which they eat as they are sunk back into the pot.
Willow looked too concerned, "I don't know, Gus. If Amity saw that…"
Suddenly, Amity jumps onto the table, "I saw that! Abominations don't eat!" She told Willow before going to the cauldron and taking off the lid, "I know you're in there! You can't hide from me!" Students started looking over at Amity causing a scene, "What are you? Who are you?!" Amity picked Luz up by her shirt and started shaking her. "I want answers!"
"Amity Blight!" She stopped shaking Luz and looked in horror as Professor Hermonculus came towards them, "I suspected a twinge of jealousy, but this, this is just sad." He scolded the girl.
"But I…No! Look at this thing." Luz groans as her head falls back as Amity glares at her.
"Ooh. Jealousy," A familiar voice speaks from behind and they see Iva shaking her head as she clicks her tongue. "Anyone ever told you that's such an ugly emotion? Doesn't suit you very well." She said teasingly, annoying Amity.
"Shut up, Iva!"
"Report to Principal Bump's office." The teacher ordered the young witch.
"But…" She pleaded but was interrupted.
"Now!" He slammed his fist.
Amity drops Luz in the cauldron and runs off as Professor Hermonculus leaves. The human rose back out, sharing a concerned look with Willow.
At the Owl House, King is tossing handfuls of dog treats to Prince Jr.
"Roll over! Yes! Heel!" Prince Jr wasn't following either of his commands but focused only on the treats as he now towered over King. "Yes, yes!" He then noticed Eda and addressed her as he threw more treats, "So, did you find your runaway students?" He walked up to her as Eda had her arms crossed in defeat, "By your expression, I can tell the three of them have gone and found themselves someplace else to learn. Which means I have won!" He threw up the box throwing up more treats that the trash slug snatched in its mouth.
"Yes, great, you won." Eda admitted as King throws a handful of treats to the side and Prince Jr chases them, "You have a giant soldier thing and I have nothing. Congrats!"
King looks up at her in fake sympathy with his hands behind his back, "Oh, Eda. Don't say that. At least you have this!" He pulls out a shame hat and cackles. Eda as she snatches from him and storms off into the shack as King continues laughing at her and Prince Jr comes behind him.
"I am so funny!" He declares while raising his fists. Then he turns to the trash slug, "Ah, well, Prince Jr, training complete. Go forth! Make the world tremble at your feet—or worm stubs." Prince Jr makes no effort to move, causing him to grow nervous. "Go forth?" He still doesn't move, and King chuckles in realization, "Oh. Right." He picks up the dog treat box and shakes it, but it was empty, causing King to worry. Prince Jr. moves closer, growling as if planning to eat King, and he looks at it in fear, "Oh, crud!"
Meanwhile, in a Hexside classroom, Triple LN stood out of the pot to get some air. "Woo! Cramped in there," Lucia twisted her arms.
"I'll say. Lucky for us this stuff is more slippery than sticky," Luis looks at their state of being coated in slime. "And we showered this morning too."
Luz looks at herself too, "Yeah, but look on the bright side." She reminded the four of them, "Now we don't have to worry about Amity. High five!" She points her hand to Willow and Gus, and they share a confused look as Gus shrugs. Luz demonstrates by high-fiving Lucia and Luis, "You slap my hand. It's a human thing."
Gus walked forward and hesitantly gave her a high five before doing it several more times with growing confidence. "Oh. Oh my. Oh man, what a rush," He said with glee as the older kids laughed at his antics.
The classroom door opens, revealing Amity. She smirks and steps aside, allowing Principal Bump to enter the room. His skin was light beige and teal eyes with light-yellow scleras, with a strange red demon-like hat on his head covering the upper half of his face. He wore a traditional academic dress consisting of a long black gown with a gold yoke and a black cape, gold trim at the sleeves, and cape hem, plus a blue stole draped over his shoulders.
"Good afternoon, students." He greeted the children.
"Principal Bump." Willow addressed him in shock.
The humans drop, pretending to be abominations as Principal Bump steps closer to them. Willow and Gus back off as he kneels down, deciding to inspect Luz, as he turns her head. "Hmm…" He grew fascinated by them and stood up, "Abomination, rise." Luz does so, looking nervous. "Abomination, lie."
"Uh, viral fame is a worthy pursuit. Your cat would never eat you if it got the chance. Chemtrails are real—Ow!" Luz rubs her arm from the punch as she glares at Lucia, who just points at the desk behind the principal.
Bump chuckles in amusement at their display, "How strange for it to get the command wrong, or have the others correct it." Luz whimpers as she goes to lie down on the table. "So very lifelike." The principal says as he approaches the table with Willow. "When Miss Blight told me about your abominations, I had to come by, and see what they're made of."
"Oh, I have their list of ingredients right here." She reached in her pocket for it.
"No," Bump stopped her from doing so. "We were hoping…" He took out a dagger from his robe. "For a close look." The Nocedas looked horrified at what he was implying as the dagger loomed over Luz's face.
"Oh, crud." Luz said under her breath.
"Willow, I'll allow you the first cut." He hands it over to her.
Willow takes it with a nervous smile and whispers to Luz. "Uh, you can't just cut open a human, can you?" Luz shakes her head at the question.
The principal placed his hand on her shoulder, "Willow, go ahead and make the first incision." He insisted.
"Wait, Principal Bump!" Gus called out to get their attention, "Uh, high five!" He knocks over three pots causing the goo to spill. They formed abominations that made for a distraction. "Run!" Willow and the humans rush out of the door.
Amity looks behind her at the door, "They're getting away!"
"No, the intruders won't get far." Bump approaches a wall and traces a large spell circle, before slamming his palms in its center. Soon, red lights started forming rube-like patterns and began spreading on the walls and floor.
The four are seen running through the halls and stopping to catch their breath.
"This is all my fault, Willow." Luz spoke to her, getting their attention, "We just wanted to see what a real magic school was like."
"Well, how do you guys like it?" Willow asked with a smile.
"It's lovely, actually." Luz answered with her hands behind her back.
"A little wayward, but a lot of fun," Luis said to her.
"Honestly, I don't think this is any different from the school we go to." Lucia said to the younger kids, "Unless you can count everyone being some kind of zany character." Everyone laughed at her joke.
"Okay, we should get out of here before—" The red rubes covered the walls, activating a force field blocking the doorways as the patterns took over the school. "Bump seals us in."
"Well, this is bad." Luis said as they were now trapped.
In the Owl House's shack, Eda is sulking with the shame hat on her head. She seemed disappointed that Lucia may be right about her inadequacy as a mentor.
"Help me, help me, help me!" She heard King's voice as he opened the door, slamming it behind him. He whimpered as he dove into Eda's arms while the door started to bang.
She knew what was going on and looked at him knowingly. "Trouble with your student?"
"Yes, yes!"
Prince Jr started banging the door harder. "Are you sure you need my help?" Eda continued teasing him, "Maybe he only wants more of your brilliant lessons."
The slug managed to get through the door, roaring at them. Eda looked in shock as it got closer and grabbed King's tail and started to drag him out.
"Please help me! You can call me Mr. Wiggles!" He pleaded desperately.
She smirked as she took off her hat, and poked the worm with her staff, causing it to let go of King. He ran back over to her leg as the slug retreated, "Okay, Mr. Wiggles. Here's what we're gonna do," She smirked down at him as he got on her shoulder.
Back at Hexside. Triple LN and Willow had reached the central atrium, but doorways were still being sealed off. Shadows loomed over them and they turned and gasped. They saw it was Bump commanding four abominations to go after them and they took off down the hall and hid behind a pillar.
"Oh, this is awful." Willow spoke in shame as she pressed her cheeks and sank to the ground, "I don't know what to do. Amity's right. I'm just Half-a-Witch Willow."
"Oh, no you're not!" Luis says, causing Willow to look up at him, "You're Full-Witch Willow. And you're great. Far as I'm concerned, you could be the most powerful student here if you had more confidence in yourself." Willow's eyes widened at the confidence he had in his words for her, "You shouldn't have to worry about what some poser thinks about you."
"That's right," Luz agreed with her brother. "And someone once told us great witches are resourceful." She pulled some contents out of her pocket, including the slimeball.
Willow smiles at the slimeball and takes it, "That's it!"
Luz was confused, "You mean that greasy slime ball?"
"How is that gonna help?" Her brother asked.
"Guys, it's a seed!" She informed the humans, "Thank goodness you had it on you."
"Yeah." Luz smiled as she thought about this morning, "Thank goodness someone told me to hold on to it."
Willow places the seed in her lap and traces a spell circle over it. "Please…grow!"
Thorns and vines sprouted out of the seed, going up to the ceiling. The kids ducked as the vines knocked all of the abominations away, and headed towards Bump and he looked in shock as they grabbed him and slammed him against the ceiling. However, when he opened his eyes, he gasped at the sight of the vines covering the entire atrium, wrapping around the pillars as pink petals fell from above.
"Remarkable…" He said, looking around the atrium.
"How about that?" Lucia looked around, feeling just as impressed as Bump. "Guess Eda's methods can be useful once in a while."
Then the lights sealing off the hallways vanished, "There's the exit!"
"Bail, girls! Bail!" Luis and his sisters run first as Willow puts the seed on the floor and follows them.
"Not so fast!" Amity blocked their way and was looking furious with a vine wrapped around her neck. "I'm not letting you get away so easily. I...want...my...badge!" She threw the vine off her.
"Wow," Lucia stared blankly at the rage that Amity was showing. "This chica could use some therapy." Luz and Willow looked at Lucia for how her statement wasn't helping.
"Abominations, seize!" The girl ordered.
An abomination comes from behind them, and Lucia punches it through the chest as Luz takes Willow's wrist and runs with Lucia behind them. They look to see Luis charging at Amity.
"Luis, what are you doing?!" Willow asked in shock.
"I've had just about enough of this brat," Luis stated.
Amity starts to form more abominations in front of her. He jumps to the lockers to his side and leaps behind the green-haired girl to trip her off her feet. He then kicked her higher and grabbed her by her hood, spinning her before throwing her at a pillar in the atrium.
"Wow," Willow was amazed that he just threw her with little effort. "He's strong."
Amity gets up, shaking her head, and glares at him as he catches up with the girls. She reforms the abominations and sends it after them again. The four looked to be home-free, but more abominations formed in front of them. Willow traces out a large spell circle, causing vines to trap the abomination.
"Get outta here!" She told them as her eyes glowed green.
"No! There's no way we're leaving you behind," Luis said with his hands on Willow's shoulders.
"I may get detention, but you three'll get dissected," The abominations from before started to free themselves from the. "So go!" She waved her arm to capture the three in vines and hover them over the abominations and out of Hexside as the doors closed.
"Willow!" Luz her from the outside, and all three looked at the doors.
"What are we gonna do?" Luis asked his sisters. "We can't save you right now."
"True, we can't. But we know someone who can! Come on!" Lucia ran off the school grounds as they followed her.
Eda was facing off against the giant slug as it spat lava at her. She charged forward and smacked it in the face with her staff twice. She stepped backwards as it slithered towards her as King was trying to get a bucket of salt in position on the roof.
Eventually, she got the slug into position and called up to him, "Pour the salt, now!"
"Baby boy!" King felt some remorse about doing this as Prince Jr whimpered…which followed up into a roar, making it easier for him. "I have no son! Eat salt!" He poured the entire bucket into the worm's mouth, causing it to shudder and return to normal size before it crawled away whimpering. "Yes, I did it! I'm amazing!" He declared as he raised his fists and jumped around in victory. During his dance, he slips off the roof with a yelp and falls into Eda's arms. King chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "You helped too. You are a good teacher," He admitted.
"I wish the kids thought that too," Eda looked away.
"Edaaaa!" Luz shouted as all three arrived, jumping up and hugging them.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey! What is this?" Eda groaned, annoyed by the hug. "I never understand when you do this."
"Your lesson worked! Keeping junk in my pocket saved our lives," Luz told her in a rapid manner. Then she remembered something and held her cheeks. "But wait. Our new friends. They're in danger."
"Guuuuys!" Willow shouted in a similar way that Luz did as she and Gus hugged them.
"Seriously, what—what is that? What is going on right now?" Eda still couldn't wrap her head around what they were seeing.
The kids separated and Willow held on Luz's shoulders. "You won't believe it, guys. Everything is perfect now!"
"It's true, I don't believe it." Luz told her.
"Principal Bump was so impressed by my plant work, he's switching me to the plant magic track! Look!" Willow snapped her fingers, and with a spin, her uniform changed from orchid to green.
"Yes!" Luz cheered happily for her, spinning her around into a hug.
"That's great news, Willow." Lucia congratulated her and looked at Luis, "What do you think, bro?"
"I think it's fantastic that she's following her passions. Because, honestly…" He looks up and down at her uniform, "Green's a good color on you." Willow blushed at the compliment as his sisters raised their eyebrows playfully at him.
Then Luz thought of something, "Oh...what about Amity?"
"Last we saw, she was asking Bump if today could count as extra credit," Gus smiled as he explained her situation to them.
"Well, I can't wait to see you in action next time we sneak in," Luz grinned, clasping her hands together.
"Maybe as something less…slimy, next time?" Lucia suggested as Willow winced from behind them.
"Uh...about that," Gus started as he had a hand in his pocket. "You are kinda, sorta..." He took out three scrolls. "Banned." He revealed the poster of the three of them.
"That's my kids!" Eda pumped her fists from behind the boy.
"But we could come here and teach you what we learned," Willow offered Luz.
"Aw. That would be nice. But...we have a pretty great teacher already," She smiled up at Eda, who gave a look of shock.
"Much as I hate to admit, your dimwit method of hoarding garbage did help us get out of a jam today. So, all things considered, you're not all bad as a mentor," Lucia told her with a slight smile. Eda felt somewhat flattered by the sort of compliment Lucia gave her.
"Yeah, that's right. Triple LN's my group of students!" Eda grabbed the posters. "Back off, academy twerps." The kids laughed at her and she held them with pride, "Oh! Baby's first wanted poster. Good job, kids. Looks like I taught you something after all," She patted Luz's head and looks at Lucia. "And that's actually the closest thing to a genuine compliment you've given me."
"Don't get used to it." She dismissed dryly.
"Oh, come on. Just admit it," Eda quirked a brow in amusement at the older girl. "You like me a little, don't you?"
Gus pops up between them, "Uh, you high-five with your hands, not your head," Luz and Eda's eyes widen as he smiles.
Luis looked on with a smirk as he noticed Willow standing next to him with a sheepish smile, "Did you…mean all that? About how I can be a powerful witch?" She questioned his words back at school.
"Of course." He told her with a confident smile, "I could tell that you could be one of the most powerful witches the Boiling Isles has ever seen if you just had confidence in your abilities." He assured her, "And stop letting others give you a hard time. But if anyone does, just let me know. I'll straighten them out for ya."
"Thanks, I'll do that." There was an awkward silence between them as they blushed and Willow spoke up again, "Well…Gus and I have to get going now." She started walking away with a confused Gus following her, "I'll see you around Luis. A-And your sisters, too."
"Later, Willow. And take it easy, Gus," He waved goodbye as his sisters smiled at him knowingly.
"You like her." Claimed the oldest in a teasing manner.
"What's that now?" Luis blurted out, still blushing.
"What's going on with you guys?" King asked.
"Oh, nothing. Except," Lucia briefly turned to her brother before turning back to King and Eda. "Luis totally has a crush on the girl who just left!" She revealed, causing Luis to widen his eyes.
The duo widened their own eyes and gaped their mouths with a deep gasp before Eda smirked, "No kidding?"
"Oh, Owl Lady, we would never joke about this." Luz told the Owl House duo, "It was only a matter of time until it started. Believe it or not, he's really popular with girls in the human world." She informed them, causing Luis to blush deeper.
"You don't say," Eda looked at the boy up and down. "Actually, I can totally see it."
"I know. He's cool, smart, handsome, funny, athletic, and he's got a lot of talents." Luz said before gossiping about Luis's love life, "But I can't tell you how obsessed some girls can get over him. Like this one time, a girl in middle school claimed that she and him were dating…"
"I've heard enough," Luis grumbled as she went on. Then he slapped the nerve points in Luz's ears causing her to fall forward to the shock of Eda and King.
"Oh, my Titan! You killed her!" The demon exclaimed.
"What? No. She's just unconscious," He referred to Luz groaning as she was still on the ground. "See? That's just what happens when she starts babbling about girls who've had a crush on me." He then picked her leg up, "Welp, I'm gonna bring this one in and take another shower." Everyone watched him drag Luz by the leg into the Owl House.
Season 1 Outro
Luz, Luis, and Lucia are seen walking down a part of Bonesborough called Thistle Street. Lucia had her hands behind her head, as Luis's were in his pockets with his skateboard wrapped in his arm as they all looked around in amazement.
The trio then walked through the marketplace with various stalls in it, especially blinking meat with multiple eyes. The meat horrified Luz and disgusted the other two.
Luz was in the Slayground, kicking a Grudgby ball. In the background, Lucia was break dancing and Luis was showing kids how to do a handstand on his board.
They are now walking through the hallway of Hexside greeting Willow and Gus while Amity can be seen leaning on a pillar. Willow blushed at Luis as Luz raised her eyebrows at him and Lucia was nudging her brother knowingly.
Lucia is walking through the Bonesborough Library before the book Lucia was holding flew off. Her younger brother and sister were reading manga at a desk.
The trio walked through a dark part of the Boiling Isles forest with bones on the ground. Luz looked around with her hood on and a frightened expression as her siblings seemed prepared to fight anything that may come out.
Luis was lightly pushing his foot against the ground as he skateboarded along a river path of the Boiling Isles while his sisters were sitting by the river as they all looked at the Titan's skull. After a kickflip, he turned his attention towards the skull as well.
Triple LN are running through the forest, and arriving at the Owl House where King was chatting with Eda excitedly as Hooty watched them from the back with a happy expression. King and Eda noticed the trio and waved at them before the trio smiled back and ran toward them before the camera pans up, showing the clear purple sky.
Before you review, yes the extras I put are just minor OCs for, you know, the Flyer Derby game. Like other minor characters, they're only here to fill in the plot. They don't have much of any important roles to play in the story unless the plot calls for it. No offense to 'em.
But more importantly, as you can see, their first trip to Hexside was a…disaster. But it wasn't that bad. Amity got shown up, Willow gets to follow her passions, and the start of a romantic relationship between her and Luis develops. I know that some of you are probably thinking, "What about Huntlow?" Well, you might need to go check out the author's note in the second chapter of my story Triple L in the Owl House if you haven't already.
I also got some advice from a friend, Dewey10, on my last chapter. They said to make sure I don't put Triple LN together for every adventure. In some parts it's better for one to go solo, in others it's best to be a duo, and in others it's best to be a trio. I have some thoughts for some future episodes, but if anyone has suggestions, especially for how I can improve my ship ideas, don't hesitate to share them.
