Two days later
Walking up to Kim's house I take a breath and knock lightly before stepping back, she opens the door frowning slightly "you look different" she says after a moment.
Nodding I twitch slightly before shaking my leg feeling the muscle twitching "could we talk?"
She nods motioning me in before heading to her room, following after her I sit down on the chair shaking my hand after getting shocked.
"So what's got you acting all weird? You missed two missions" she says playfully clearly trying to ease the tension I created.
"A lot happened, I'm pressing charges on Hego and a lot of things are going to be brought to light that has been hidd..."
"What's going on?" She asks looking worried.
"You know about my Mom but my other mother is a criminal, all this is about to be brought to the publics attention including that I was arrested for underage drinking, and starting a bar fight, I was with Shego then, that was the time I showed up with bur..."
Kim frowns "okay why is this all going to come out?"
"Hego is being charged with Assault, and attempted murder possibly on an officer of the law..."
"What happened?" She screeches.
"He broke my back crushed my ribs and caused multiple other breaks I was drowning in my own blood internally bec..."
"Why?"
Frowning I look at her taking a deep breath to keep my temper in check since if I don't my powers start flaring out, I caused a Aunt Izzies equipment to short out and burn out last time I got mad "please stop interrupting me and let me finish".
Kim nods blushing slightly "okay short version Hego almost killed me, he's being charged for it my other parent is Electronique a criminal that Team Go use to fight a lot, when I came over burned I was drinking in a bar with Shego and started a bar fight because I attacked her all of this is going to become public when court starts and I'm Meta human now because Izzie used what was left from the commit that changed Team Go on me".
Sighing I slump in the chair waiting for her response "so you have powers now?"
Nodding I look at my hand frowning "I have a gray tint to my skin now as well" I add pointing out the obvious.
"What is it?"
"Electric like my Ma, but I don't need a battery"
Kim nods and I sigh shaking my head "when Ma finds out she's going to come out of hiding and go after Team Go".
Twitching again I shake my arm and sigh "I figured I needed to let you know before the circus started since us being partners may be brought up so you're not caught by surprise".
"What do you need me to do?"
Shrugging I get up moving to the door "up to you Kim, you can deny our friendship if you need I'll understand, if so you can make it seem like we're just working together".
Feeling Kim rush up and touch my shoulder she yanks her hand back being shocked "I'm not denying we're friends Beth, now what do you need?"
"Can we do something normal? I want to feel normal again" I eventually say after looking at her eyes seeing she's being completely genuine in her offer.
"Veg out and watch movies?" She offers.
Smiling slightly I nod before she walks past me "we'll come on, let's see what's on" she calls.
Following her downstairs she quickly gets snacks and drinks sitting them on the table before grabbing the remote "Um Kim, I can't touch those cans yet".
She looks at the metal soda cans and nods rushing to the kitchen before coming back with a cup and pouring mine in it.
"Thanks" I mumble sitting on a sofa as she takes the other while putting on a movie.
Some time later
Sitting on the couch with one leg up across it I laugh watching the cartoon she put on seeing a guy blow up a machine he was poking around in.
Hearing the door open and Mrs. Possible call for Kim and I wave staying on the couch relaxing "hey Mrs. Possible" I call.
"Hello Beth, what are you girls doing?"
"Having a normal day just relaxing watching some adult cartoons and snacking" I respond before grabbing my glass to take a drink.
Frowning I look at it seeing it's empty, glancing at my other car I frown more trying to control my static as I pick it up.
Not hearing anything I smile before hearing a loud crackling that suddenly explodes "Son of a bitch" I scream lifting my hand above my head.
Kim and her mom both rush in looking at me shocked before her mom rushes away "what happened?" Kim asks leading me to the kitchen.
"I grabbed the can I had it under control for a moment and then I didn't" I grunt as she runs water over my hand before wrapping it in a rag.
"Mom she needs stitches" Kim calls.
Her mom rushes back in and motions to the chair "no metal" I say pulling back at her getting a needle ready.
"Beth, you need stitches"
"And you'll get shocked" I grit out.
She sighs digging out thick rubber kitchen gloves and cleans them before looking at me with a raised brow, nodding I let her start and see her brows raise at the sparks happening.
Once finished I sigh looking down "I'm sorry about the mess, I'll pay to have someone clean it or new furniture ma'am".
"What happened?"
"I'm kinda like Shego now I guess, but instead of Plasma I'm electric I tried to control my power to open my drink and pour it in the cup but I lost it" I answer shrugging while trying to hide my embarrassment.
Standing up I look around "where's your cleaning stuff? I'll clean it I really am sorry".
"I'm not letting you touch flammable chemicals to clean that up Beth, it was accident but let's not push your luck" Mrs. Possible says before walking to a closet.
I watch her get it ready and walk to the living room, following after her I keep my distance "I'll have a cleaner come in for it and get you a new couch ma'am".
"It's fine Beth" she repeats sounding frustrated.
Seeing Kim go help I sigh heading to the back yard and jump the fence walking away.
Walking down the street I sigh as it starts raining "at least it'll wash away the sticky feeling" I mumble.
Looking at my hand as I walk I see small sparks happening and shake my head.
Continuing on I pass a house hearing yelling and stuff breaking, I frown for a moment but continue on before hearing a door open and slam shut.
Glancing up I see Bonnie with an umbrella stalking out of the house, locking eyes with her she frowns glaring at me.
Walking on I frown hearing her rushing up "you can't keep stalking me".
"Not" I answer rolling my eyes.
"Oh so you just happened to unknowingly pass my house"
"Yep, leaving Kim's house heading back to mine because believe it or not princess there are more important things then you, I really don't care about you I'm not interested in knowing you, I'm perfectly happy to continue on unmated and have any pretty little Omega that wants a night with me" I say keeping my face blank since I'm not sure anyone will want me now since I'll just end up hurting them with my power.
Hearing her huff I chuckle walking up my drive way "you live here?" Bonnie asks sounding shocked.
"Yep" I answer noticing she's followed me to the door, getting it open by using my foot I step in and face her while blocking her from following anymore "go away" I say simply before shutting my door in her face.
Sighing I pull my clothes off and make my way to the bathroom to shower.
Stepping in I frown looking at the metal knobs and groan before hearing knocking, I sigh pulling my robe on and walk back to the door "open it" I bark.
Mom comes in tossing me some gloves with my monkey on her shoulder "why is that girl on your porch?" She asks narrowing her eyes at me since I'm in a robe.
Leaning out the open door I frown seeing Bonnie sat on my chair "go home kitten you're not welcome here" I say before closing the door a little louder then I meant to.
"You didn't sleep with her right Elizabeth?"
"No Mom, I spent the day at Kim's after letting her know what's happening and a damn soda can blew up in my hand, Mrs. Possible stitched me up and I guess I frustrated her so I left and ended up walking in the rain" I say pulling my patch off ignoring Mom's gasp of shock.
"You found your mate?" She asks sounding happy.
"Yep it's that stuck up brat outside, she made it clear she would never give me a chance and I happened to pass her house coming home, she followed me home like some stray, now I want a damn shower will you turn the damn water on for me" I grunt throwing my hand out motioning to the bathroom.
Mom points to the gloves "Shego brought them over I don't know how or who but they'll allow you to use your hands till you can control your power, I have G.J scientist working on something for Eris so she can safely be with you".
Nodding I turn walking away from her to go shower, getting in I sigh enjoying the water for a bit then finish up.
Coming out I frown finding Mom in the kitchen cooking "what the hell are you doing?" I ask.
"Making dinner I put my bag up already"
Frowning I rush to the extra rooms finding her bag on one of the beds, grabbing it I bring it out and drop it by the door "Mom go home".
"Beth, I'm staying here till I'm sure you can handle this, now go put my bag back" she says offhandly.
"This is my house Mom"
"And I'm staying" she counters turn and glaring at me.
Screaming I stalk out the door slamming it behind me "damn it, will I never escape you woman, I moved out for a damn reason" I add loudly.
Ignoring Bonnie on my porch still I punch the wall then sit down in a chair before reaching under my table and pull out my cigarettes and light one shaking my head.
"Why are you still here?" I finally demand glaring at Bonnie after taking a few drags, she huffs ignoring me so I slump in my chair finish my smoke.
Hearing Mom coming as I toss the butt I cover my ears and loudly start singing the witch is dead from the wizard of Oz glaring at her.
She rolls her eyes yanking me up "acting like such a child" she huffs before pushing me in the house.
"Would you care to join us for dinner Bonnie?" Mom ask.
Turning I open my mouth to object, seeing Mom's glare at me I close it and cross my arms as she lets Bonnie in.
"I'm going to strangle you in your sleep" I hiss glaring at Mom.
"You're welcome to try"
Frowning I stare her down but end up looking away first, she smirks patting my face as she pass and flinches at the shock from it.
Smirking at feeling even the smallest bit of satisfaction for shocking her I follow her to the kitchen seeing she's made three plates and has some food sat out for Eris at the table.
Looking at the food I grumble starting to eat since I know I can't insult it's look or taste because it's perfect like always.
"How did you two meet?" Mom asks looking at Bonnie.
"I caught her when she fell at Kim's cheer practice" I answer glaring at Mom "then she rejected me so I don't see why you invited this spoiled brat into my home" I add.
Watching Bonnie talk with Mom I scoff getting up since I finished "I'm going to bed everyone can leave" I order.
