Next morning
Getting up I yawn while walking to the kitchen half asleep "Oh my god what are you doing walking around naked".
Freezing I look to who spoke and frown "what are you doing in my house" I demand resisting the urge to cover myself.
Hearing the toilet I spin seeing Mom come out and frown at me "I told you both to leave last night".
"Go put some clothes on Beth" Mom snarks walking past me.
"Hell no, this is my damn house if I want to walk around naked I will and no one will stop me" I say loudly while crossing my arms.
"You have company now go get dressed" Mom orders.
"I don't have company I uninvited squatters in my damn house"
Hearing the door open I sigh hearing Kim and Monique "what's going on here?" Monique asks laughing.
"Damn it, can I not have one day go my way after almost dying" I scream before stomping off to my room.
"Beth's just upset she's had a rough time lately so just ignore her" I hear Mom say.
"What are you two doing here?" Bonnie demands loudly.
"Maybe to get in Beth's bed, not that it's any of your business since you rejected her" Monique snaps as I come back in dressed.
Seeing Mom start coughing after chocking on her coffee I laugh grabbing myself a cup "Beth are you sleeping with them?"
"Kim's underage" I answer rolling my eyes.
"Her friend's clearly not" she hisses.
"It's none of your business if I'm sleeping with someone or not Mom, it's not your house so if I want to fuck someone I will" I respond since Monique keeps smirking at Bonnie "and why is she still in my house in some of my damn sleep clothes?" I demand pointing at Bonnie.
"We can come back if this is a bad time" Kim says looking at us.
"No, you both are welcome anytime I told you that, these two however are not" I answer.
Huffing I sit my cup down and grab my wallet "let's go, I'm not dealing with this".
Walking to the door I adjust my gloves before walking out hearing Kim and Monique following me to the car.
Taking off I sigh tapping my thumb on the wheel "I need breakfast are you hungry?" I ask.
"We ate before we came over" Monique answers as Kim nods.
Nodding I pull up to a Jack in the Box drive threw and place my order before driving around to get it.
Moving to a parking spot I stop to eat "so spill, what was Bonnie doing at your house really?" Monique asks leaning forward.
Shaking my head I swallow my bite "she followed me home yesterday after accusing me of stalking her again, then sat on my porch, Mom let her in and fed her dinner I guess she stayed the night since she's in my sleep clothes"
"Those were ones I picked out for you" Kim says frowning.
Nodding I glance at her "are you two together?" She asks suddenly.
Laughing I shake my head as Monique laugh as well "No, Monique's very beautiful but we're not together or sleeping together I'm not sure why she hinted we are but I went with it".
"I couldn't pass up a chance to annoy Bonnie" Monique adds.
"Okay, but if you do then you both better tell me" Kim says smiling slightly.
"Deal boss, we'll tell you a complete minute by minute account" Seeing Kim blush I laugh seeing Monique nudge her playfully.
Finishing my breakfast and coffee I sigh shaking my head "I really hope they're gone when I get home".
"Why were you walking around naked and Mom sent this for your hand" Kim says holding out a tube.
Taking it I nod smiling slightly "tell her thanks and because I got really hot last night so I took my clothes off to sleep, I honestly forgot I was naked when I woke up since I was half asleep but I wasn't about to let them know that"
"What's with the gloves?" Monique asks.
"Help with my powers till I can control them"
"Oh, is that what you meant about her needing us to give her a normal day?" She asks looking at her.
"Yes, I wasn't sure if I could tell you or not but I didn't want to lie either"
Chuckling I start the car as they buckle up again "I don't mind her knowing Kim, she's cool even if she doesn't see me as a friend she's decent people plus it's hard to hide the whole gray skin".
Feeling a slap to my shoulder I glance in the mirror seeing Monique shake her hand "I can see us being great friends, now what is something we can do for a normal day?"
Before we can answer Kim's communicator goes off and I groan "who now? I ask before Kim can use her catch phrase.
"Oh good you're together, so Demintor is in the Middleton mall holding people hostage"
"On our way" I say before turning around and speeding off.
Pulling up I climb out seeing SWAT, stalking past them I point up and Kim nods.
Opening the door I slip in unnoticed and walk towards the little man yelling.
Making myself seem sluggish I look around with wide eyes grabbing a stuffed bear and rub it on my face "oh man this thing's like so soft" I say mimicking Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
Bumping into the guy I look down and shove the bear in his face "man, have you ever felt something so like soft" I ask seeing Kim sneaking people out.
He moves back spitting and glares at me "get over there with the others" he orders pointing to them while watching me.
"Oh wow, that's so shiny what is it" I ask while moving to his machine.
Feeling him pulling my hand I shake him off "oh what's this do" I ask pointing to a lever.
"Don't touch that you moron" he screams slapping my hand.
"Hey, not cool little dude, no hitting"
Moving around I glance seeing the last of the hostages taken out safely, placing my hands on the machine I push trying to get my powers to work.
Kim rushes in and starts fighting while I snarl getting mad, seeing sparks starting I jump back when the machine starts smoking and shaking.
Yanking it up I take off running out of the Mall "move your asses I think it's gonna blow" I yell.
Looking around I laugh rushing to a large trash can and sit the machine down before flipping the can over on it.
Jumping back I take off running before hearing a loud bang being thrown to the ground, I turn over and laugh seeing the can blown out but in one piece "damn I wasn't sure that would work".
Getting up I jog back seeing Kim waiting for me by Monique "I blew out a trash can" I say pointing behind me laughing.
They both smile as we head for the car, taking off I smile that was actually a fun mission since I just got to goof off and do what I wanted "the news is gonna be interesting tonight" Kim says laughing.
"Why?" Monique asks.
"She was a distraction and I think she acted like she was high"
"I was acting high and like Shaggy from Scooby Doo" I answer nodding.
"The hostages looked shocked when you came out like you did, I heard one mention some high girl was still inside" Kim adds.
Laughing I look around before pulling into the highway "where are we going?" Monique asks.
"I heard about this weird store that sells rare and handmade shit, I wanted to check it out"
Finally finding it I park and head for the store "this is different" I mumble looking at all the crap shoved together.
"Are those real skulls?" Monique asks pointing.
"I have no clue" I mumble.
"Does anyone else feel like we just walked into a horror movie where the dumb kids get killed?" Kim asks.
Nodding I look around frowning "okay, so do we go in or are we running like hell?" I ask.
Feeling them both grab my arms pulling me back I nod before we all quickly get back in the car, I take off speeding away before they even buckle.
Pulling my phone out I call Mom while glancing in my mirror feeling unnerved "Yes Beth?"
"Okay so I'm sending you a GPS location, send a team out to check this place it claims to be a store but I'm pretty sure we seen real human skulls, we took off but the place was almost like a horror movie vibe"
"Send it over and I'll send a team"
Hanging up I pass my phone to Kim so she can send the location "I really hope we're just overreacting" Monique says softly.
Nodding I quickly get us back to Middleton and we all relax "well that was a waste of time and day" I grumble.
"The scenery was nice till the store and back" Kim offers.
"Yeah true" I mumble while pulling up to Monique's house.
Seeing her go in I take off heading for Kim's and make sure she gets in then drive home.
