"Why The Fuck Are We Just Sitting Here Doing Nothing?!"
Back in the Higashiyama apartment, the Kobeni group could be seen together, specifically Denji, Power, Aki, Himeno, Kishibe, Angel, Beam, Galgali and Princi, and currently all were having a, "Discussion", well, more like Denji was just yelling and getting frustrated at everyone.
"We Need To Go Back Out There And Save Kobeni NOW!"
It was very clear that the only reason that Denji was so upset was because of how worried and concerned he was for Kobeni, and hated how everyone, specifically with himself, wasn't doing anything to help her.
"Denji, please calm down…"
Aki rubs his head, it was obvious that he was suffering from a major head, most likely from how his face got smashed in by Kobeni, and the Chainsaw Man wasn't really doing anything to make the pain go away.
"Yeah, you're not the only one worried about our Beni."
Himeno sighs at the young hybrid's emotional outbursts as she walks up to her soon to be husband and places a cold wet rag on his head, in hope to help him recover.
"Denji, do you even have a plan on how to capture her? Actually, do you even know where she is?"
Angel couldn't help but ask this question, all while in the middle of raiding the fridge and eating whatever looks good to him.
"Is there any squid jerky?"
Beam couldn't help but not care in general, poking his head out of the floor and opening his mouth eagerly for some squid jerky, which Angel Devil found and gave to the Shark Devil.
"You two shouldn't really be eating other people's food."
Galgali smacks both of the Heavenly Devilish and fiendish sea puppy heads, clearly disapproving both of their careless actions and how none serious they were in the very important moment.
"Grrrrr, Power! You're with me, right?!"
Denji gets more annoyed with this, so much so that he calls out for Blood Devil, hoping that at least she would be on his side.
"Power?"
Denji turns around in confusion on why the fiendish blonde didn't answer him.
"I-I want my Queen to be inside me again~..."
Though it didn't take long for the blonde to figure out why, as he noticed Power was currently wearing a very dazed and, "Satisfied", expression, all while making seemingly lewd and misleading comments and sounds, much to everyone's disgust.
"She's talking about Kobeni's blood, if you were curious."
Luckily Princi was there to properly explain what was wrong with the Hemophobia and clear up any misunderstanding.
"Denji."
The Chainsaw Man quickly looks away from the weird Blood Devil and at Kishibe Rohan, who just finished taking a sip from his flask.
"No one is stopping you from going after your crush."
"C-Crush, I, Well-"
Denji wasn't really given a chance to get embarrassed and defend himself before Kishibe didn't care and just continued speaking to him.
"You can go, you can try, and you might even succeed, given Kobeni's recent conditions and injuries."
Kishibe pulled out a cigarette and was about to light it, before frowning at it and decided to just leave the cigarette in without lighting it.
"But there's only so much you can do by yourself."
Kishibe then reaches into his coat and pulls out a folder, to which he then opens and throws on the table.
"And, if you weren't paying attention to the news or mission reports, we're not the only ones looking for her."
As Kishibe explains more of the situation, the young hybrid looks at what was in the folder, and sees nothing but a bunch of pictures of Russian thugs and a certain Bomb Girl causing destruction.
"If we want to save her, and make sure her, and her children, come back in one piece, then we need to do this right, do you understand?"
Kishibe spoke and looked with a very serious tone and expression, wanting the blonde to know that this situation was not something to be taken lightly and must be done with no mistakes, unless they want the problems to become much more worse than they already are.
"I guess…"
Denji grumbles as he falls and sits on the couch, arms crossed and wearing a very pouty face.
"But how long do we have to wait to actually do something?"
Even if Denji knew that all of this needs to be taken very seriously and be done very carefully, he was still impatient and wanted to act now instead of waiting forever.
"Fortunately, we're all already prepared and ready to move out, all we need is Kobeni's location and the rest should hopefully be easy from there."
Thankfully, Kishibe reassured the Chainsaw Man that they wouldn't have to wait for much longer, as everyone was ready to go find Kobeni as soon as they all knew where to go.
"And how are we supposed to find her?"
Before Denji could continue to whine and get even more restless for doing nothing, the entrance door suddenly opened and revealed Makima Nayuta herself.
"I've located Kobeni."
And once Makima entered the apartment, she pulled out and held out a document towards Rohan, which he took and looked through it.
"Look who decided to show up and fail to bring back Kobeni."
Denji couldn't help but scoff and looked way more annoyed when he saw that the Control Devil was here.
"Forgive me if defeating the Typhoon Devil wasn't as important as capturing Kobeni."
Makima emotionlessly replied, though if one pays attention, they might notice her fist clenching and tightening slightly.
"Is all of this accurate?"
Kishibe asked the Devil of Domination as he read the documents carefully and made sure he didn't miss anything.
"Yes, I've made sure of it."
Makima only gave a simple nod of confirmation.
"Then there's no time to waste, let's go, everyone."
Which was all Kishibe needed to hear and wasted no time assembling everyone in the room and head put, people like Denji and Power were the first to go, as they were the most eager to find their Kobeni, next were people like Aki, Himeno, and Galgali, equally eager to go find their friend, and then there were Angel, Beam and Princi, who was either the least motivated, wasn't motivated at all, or was completely neutral, either way, everyone was still ready to get started and left the room, leaving only behind the experienced hunter and his boss.
"Kishibe."
The older man turned his head and looked back at Makima and what she had to say to him.
"Bring me back the body of the Bomb Devil, if you get the chance."
Rohan huffs in response to what Makima asked of him, before turning away and following after his teammates.
'What, are the Chainsaw and Katana not enough for you as pets?'
Soon, after quite a bit of traveling, it didn't take long for the entire group to arrive and started walking through a large forest outside of Japan's city, grounding through many trees along the way, still determined to find what they were looking for, specifically "Who" they were looking for.
"Why would Kobeni be so far inside this forest?"
Himeno couldn't help but question while using her phasing ability to just simply walk through any trees that got in her way.
"Well, maybe to get away from the city? Probably safer to be somewhere that's away from people, specifically Devil Hunters like us."
Galgali rubs his masked chin as he takes a guess of the reasoning for this being the place that Kobeni might be in.
"At least we wouldn't have to worry about causing death or destruction, which is good, we don't need to hold back when dealing with Kobeni."
Aki had his sword out and ready to be used at a moment's notice to either defend himself or attack if needed.
"Um, I don't think we need to worry about that."
Before anyone could question Kishibe on what he meant, he has finally lead them to their final destination, and had found Kobeni Higashiyama, though when they did find her, not only was she no longer in her Supido-Kyo transformation, human once again, but was seen on the ground, completely dead.
"KOBENI/MY QUEEN!!!"
Denji and Power were the first to rush in and check up on Kobeni, hoping that she would still be alive, however so far, no luck.
"I was told that she had the ability to revive?"
Angel was a bit confused to see Kobeni dead, from all the rumors and information about her, he assumed that she would still be alive.
"The Deviltrix must be recharging."
Aki hums and could only take a guess, however he could only hope that was the case and Kobeni would still revive soon.
"Aki, look."
Luckily before any doubts and worry could spread, Himeno immediately noticed something and pointed them out, which caught everyone's attention.
"Woah! Look at these eggs! SO BIG!~"
And, just as Beam said, what they all found were three large eggs, big enough to definitely hold a baby, not only that, but each egg came in different colors, there was the first one that was black and white, the 2nd was black and yellow, and finally the 3rd was white and yellow.
"So she finally gave birth huh?"
Despite how unnatural it was, it was clear, at least to Kishibe, that these eggs belong to Kobeni.
"Can we make omelets with them?~"
Beam once again couldn't care less about them and who it belonged to, all he could think about was how delicious these eggs would make for a breakfast style meal.
"Don't You Dare! These Are Kobeni's Children!"
Though Galgali made sure to discourage the Galeophobia by smacking his head and making sure he stays far away from the eggs.
'Why… Why do I feel so happy to see them?...'
Denji, when he first lay his eyes on these eggs, he suddenly had a strange feeling in his chest, in his heart, he doesn't know what it was, or why he was feeling them, but for some reason, for whatever reason, these three eggs, he knew, he knew that it was his responsibility to take care of and protect them, no matter what, it just felt like the right thing to do.
"Don't worry my Queen, with me, The Almighty Amazing Power! Here, the rest should be easy in taking you and your children back home!~"
Unfortunately, before anyone could figure out what needed to be done next, as soon as Power said those words, everyone was immediately surrounded by a small army of Russian thugs, all with guns and other weapons out and aimed at them.
"Цель обнаружена! Окружите ее!"
It was very obvious that the Russian thugs weren't here for any good intentions whatsoever.
"You had to jinx us."
Angel sighs at this, already knowing what comes next once he sees that they were surrounded by their enemies.
"Denji, Aki, and Galgali, keep Kobeni and the eggs safe."
Kishibe wasted no time giving orders on what needs to be done, first commanding the Chainsaw Man, who transformed for this, Hayakawa, having both swords and gun out, and the Violent Devil, fists out and ready to do damage, those three were ready to do everything to protect Kobeni and her eggs.
"Everyone else."
Though as for everyone else, Kishibe pulling out his knife, Blood Devil summoning a blood weapon, Ghost Lady unleashing some tendrils and phantom arms, Angel Devil pulling out Usage: 4 Years-Shurikens, Shark Devil and his bigger shark head, and lastly the Spider Devil and her spider legs, all were ready to fight back and kill.
"We only need one for interrogation."
And without hesitation, the fight begins with Kishibe throwing a handful of needles and piercing multiple targets at once and killing them, doing this immediately made all the Russian thugs to either rush in and swing their weapons or shoot their guns, the experienced hunter, thanks to his skills and Cheetah speed, was able to avoid most of the attacks and either stab or punch multiple Russian thugs at once, they were no issue for him clearly.
"BLEH! Your Blood Tastes Nothing Like My Queen!"
Power was more reckless and wild, swinging her weapons at any Russian thugs who got close to her, as well as drinking or taking a big bite out of everyone to replenish and heal herself if she gets hurt or lose to much blood, though she couldn't help but not enjoy it as much when it wasn't her Queen's blood.
'Yes! Yes! The More Blood You Shed! The More I Will Soon Gain Control Of This Stupid Body!~'
Himeno, unaware of who was in her body, was more focused on using her many tendrils to stab into the many bodies of the Russian thugs, or using her phantom arms to snap or crush many necks of her enemies.
'Every thug I kill, equals an hour of touching, Kobeni.'
Angel used his shurikens to kill all those Russian thugs with guns, while those closer to him, he either smacks away with his wings or simply touches and sucks away their life force.
"None Shall Dare Offend The Lord Of All Chainsaws!"
Beam would swim around all over the ground, before jumping out and taking a big bite of any unlucky Russian thugs with his large shark head.
"You must be the leader of these thugs."
Princi was currently holding up and webbing up what she assumed was the leader of these Russian thugs, who screamed and struggled in fear, even more so when they saw that the Arachnophobia had used her legs to step on and stab multiple enemies.
"STAY AWAY FROM KOBENI AND HER EGG BABIES!!!"
Chainsaw Man yells as he runs around, but still staying close to who he's trying to protect, swinging his chainsaws everywhere and slicing up any Russian thugs who come close to him.
"How are you holding up, Galgali?!"
Aki was staying closer to the eggs, as he used his guns to fend off any Russian thugs, while using his sword to slice up any that to close for comfort.
"Doing fine, thanks for asking!"
As for Galgali, he made sure to protect the body of Kobeni, punching and kicking with enough strength to either knock off their heads or make a hole in their stomachs or chest, this whole fight was long, but nothing to difficult for the group of Devil Hunters, those who weren't purposely reckless came out this fight with not even a scratch, which the Russian thugs noticed and attempted to flee once they realized they were no match for them, unfortunately none were unable to flee, killed off instantly before they could.
"We could only hope that's the last of them."
Aki sighs and wipes away some sweat after dealing with the last of the Russian thugs.
"We can't take any chances."
Kishibe had to drink, as well as pour large bottles of water all over himself, since he was unable to sweat and cool off naturally.
"Angel, you'll need to fly away with Kobeni body, Himeno, use your extra arms or tentacles to carry all the eggs."
Once Kishibe had a chance to cool off and recover, immediately ordered both the Ectonurite Hybrid and Angelophobia to take both Kobeni and the eggs.
"I would recommend not doing that, unless you all want to go "BOOM" instantly~"
Unfortunately, before anyone could say or do anything, someone unfamiliar suddenly spoke up, immediately catching everyone's attention and looking to see who it was, being none other than Reze herself.
"Who the hel-Wait a minute, Café Lady!?"
Denji was immediately shocked to realize who this woman was.
"Oh? Both the Chainsaw heart and monster collar are here at the same time, that sure makes my job more easier~"
Reze claps her hands and looks happy to have both of her targets here, specifically being the Chainsaw Man and Kobeni.
'I'm more worried about who else knows about them.'
Kishibe could only narrow his eyes and be somewhat concerned on who else might be involved with all this.
"But to answer your question, my name is Reze, and I was given the job to take a certain heart and collar away from you Devil Hunters."
Reze stops a few feet away from the entire group of Devil Hunters, before bowing and introducing herself to them all.
"So here's my offer, you give me what I want and I promise to not kill you all, sound fair?~"
Reze's innocent looking smile suddenly turned into something much more sinister, which did make a few tense up and shiver, though most were able to hide it more than others.
"You Can Take Denji Heart, But My Queen Stays With Me!"
"YEAH-Wait, Fuck You Power!"
No one in the group was even given a chance to think about the offer that the Russian lady gave before both Power and Denji immediately and without hesitation rejected the offer, of course it wasn't like they were gonna agree to it either way, but still it was a wasted opportunity.
"What a shame, oh well."
Reze could only sigh in disappointment as she started to reach for the pin on her neck.
"Do you still want us to escape with Kobeni and her eggs?"
Himeno prepared herself to fight if need be.
"No, we'll only risk either them getting captured or leading her back to the public where she could hurt more people."
Kishibe quickly pulls out another bottle of water to drink and recover more for this fight, as he explains how leaving now might end up making things much worse than they were now.
"We need to deal with her here and now."
With all that said and done, the entire group of Devil Hunters attempted to jump and attack all at once on Reze, but it was too late, as soon as she pulled the pin, she exploded and was immediately replaced with the Bomb Girl, which she then caused another big explosion to push everyone back and away, the only one who was able to avoid it was Beam, thanks to him swimming underground, seeing a opportunity, he jumps out of the ground and tried to take a literal bite out of the Bomb Devil, though she just simply stopped him with a single hand and just blows him away, next was both Aki and Galgali coming from two sides and were prepared to swing their swords and/or fists at her, the Ekrixiphobia responded to this tag team by making the back of her feet let out a small enough explosion to allow her to swing her feet fast enough to kick both the Violent Devil and the Devil Hunter very quickly, it did knock away the violence fiend, but Topknot was able to block it with his sword, thanks to his future vision, he then takes this chance to swings his sword at the Explosive Reze, which she allowed to happen and let her hand get cut off, Hayakawa only had a moment to realize his mistakes before the hand exploded and send him flying and be covered in some burns and blood.
"DON'T YOU DARE LAY ANOTHER FINGER ON MY SOON TO BE HUSBAND!!!"
This of course did not go unnoticed, as the Bomb Girl was then grabbed and held up by Himeno herself, thanks to her tendrils, which the Bomb Devil attempted to rip or explode away the tentacles that held her, but realizes she couldn't even touch them, as it would literally go right through the Himmy Phasmophobia, and unfortunately for the Ekrixiphobia, it didn't apply to her, as she then sends out all of her phantom hands to punch her, snap any bones, or just simply throw her body against every tree and ground around, obviously this wasn't a fight for the Explosive Reze to explode away, and so had to get creative, as she snaps her fingers, which lit a fuse, and then flicks it towards someone, specifically towards Aki.
"AKI!!!"
Himeno went eye wide and quickly let's go and flew right in front of her soon to be husband, as she then used her body block the full force of the explosion, which left her in a ectoplasm bloody mess, when that threat was taken care of, the Bomb Girl kneels down to grab a random arm, and take a bite from it, in the hopes to heal all of her injuries.
"HAH! YOU FOOL!"
The Bomb Devil realized too late to notice who the arm belonged to, as blood spears came and sprouted out all over her body, all thanks to Power herself, to which she came in with a large hammer made from blood and used to squashed the Ekrixiphobia body.
"PRAISE ME! FOR I HAVE SAVE THE QUEEN FROM THIS HARLOT! BWAHAHAHAHAHuh?"
Before Power could celebrate in her victory, she then suddenly felt something grab her leg, she only had enough time to look down to see that the hand belongs to the Explosive Reze, before her entire lower body blew up, with that taken care of, the Bomb Girl pushed the hammer off her body and stumbled back up to her feet.
"Usage: 20 Years."
By the time that the Bomb Devil was back on her feet, she was met with Angel summoning two spear like weapons, and gave the 2nd one to Rohan, the Ekrixiphobia attempted move out of the way, but stopped when she felt and saw spider webs was all over her legs and keeping her stuck in the ground, all thanks to Princi, which gave the two Spearman a chance to then throw their weapons at the Explosive Reze, who decided to avoid the attack by exploding her webbed legs and jumped over the two spears, which flew right under her and instead stabbed right into the Spider Devil, pinning her against the tree, while the Bomb Girl was in the air, she reforms and grew back her legs into missiles and then dive bomb straight towards the two Devil Hunters, though Angelophobia decided to fly up to the Bomb Devil and used his wings to both block and take on the incoming attack, which just blew him up and send him crashing into the ground, wings very much horribly damaged and burned.
"U-Ugh… 1-100 years of touching…"
Was the last thing that Angel said, before passing out, leaving the experienced hunter by himself to fight off the Ekrixiphobia, who just simply sighs in response.
"Well, I guess it's my turn to be revived."
Kishibe just simply accepted his fate, before using his enhanced speed to seemingly disappear and reappear right in front of the Explosive Reze, which startled her from such unexpected speed, this gave the older man the opening he needed to pull out his knives and just stab the Bomb Girl all over her body as many time as he could, he managed to reach a 1000 stabs before she had enough and just hugged Rohan and committed a suicide bombing attack, in other words, making them both exploded, though to even the experienced hunter surprise, he was still alive, just badly, badly, badly burnt and most likely not be able to continue fighting.
"And now, there's just you, who I'm actually here for."
Bomb Girl steps over the burned body of Kishibe and stands a few feet away from Denji, who was still in his Chainsaw Man form and just standing protectively over both Kobeni and her eggs, never leaving their sides even once.
"Make it easier for both of us and just give me your heart and your girlfriend."
As soon as Bomb Girl said this, the Hybrid immediately got very angry and upset as he then charged after her, his chainsaws revved up and ready to make some brutal cutting.
"SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND YET!!!"
Sadly, the Chainsaw Man wasn't really given a chance to do anything, as he was then grabbed in the face by the Bomb Devil.
"You know."
As Bomb Girl started to talk to Denji, she immediately made him explode.
"In different circumstances."
Bomb Girl then made Denji explode again.
"I bet you and I could've been a cute couple together."
Bomb Girl kept exploding Denji again and again.
"Unfortunate really, I truly think you're cute."
Bomb Girl made Denji explode again and again and again and again.
"D-Don't… T-Touch… T-Them…"
Until Chainsaw Man was nothing more than a very burned up living corpse, all of his arms and legs blown away and his guts hanging out below his charcoal body.
"And who's gonna stop me, because clearly it won't be you."
With this, the Bomb Girl, Reze, she has finally completed her mission, which made her breathe and sigh of relief, no doubt all of this took a lot out of her, and clearly needed a lot of blood to recover, but at least now, all she needed to do was just take the body of both Denji and Kobeni, and she can finally call it a day.
"RECHARGE COMPLETED: EMERGENCY REVIVAL AND TRANSFORMATION: COMMENCING."
Though just as the Bomb Devil was about to finish her mission, the voice of the Deviltrix could be heard, followed by a very bright light, which momentarily blinded the Ekrixiphobia.
"MOTHRA!"
Though once the light died down, what was once a dead Kobeni Higashiyama, has transformed into a certain alien ice moth, "Mothra", this of course startled Reze, as she tossed away the burned corpse of Denji and was about to use her explosive powers to deal with this new threat, unfortunately she never got the chance, as just as she was about to light a fuse, the Necrofriggian Kobeni took a very big and deep breath before blowing a large cloud of cold air towards and all over the Bomb Girl, this not only puts out any fuses she lit up, but also entirely cover her entire body in a very large and very thick block of ice, once she was completely frozen all over, the moth Higashiyama floated back down to the ground and in another flash of light, was back to her normal human form.
"U-Ugh, my head hurts…."
Kobeni rubbed her head and groans in discomfort, as she struggled to remember and process what just happened, though as she tries to recall what's what, she opened her eyes and took a chance to look around, only to realized that her entire team and friends were all over the place, either unconscious, injured, almost dead or are already dead.
"... Oh ..."
The next chapter, definitely the next chapter, should be the final chapter of this Arc, I PROMISE!!!
(Also I would've made the fight longer between Reze and Kobeni, but seeing that she's weak to anything that can out out her fuses, well, Mothra should be able to handle her very quickly)
