'Thought'

"Michiko? Yutaro?"

Hearing the familiar voice of Kobeni Higashiyama immediately woke up Michiko Tendo and Yutaro Kurose, quickly sitting up on the beds they were on.

"K-Kobeni?"

"Y-You're alive?"

Obviously, both Michiko and Yutaro were very confused about, well, everything really, how Higashiyama was ok and alive, looking healthy and not at all kidnapped by someone, and of course, that stood out the most to them, that she was no longer pregnant.

"I should be the one asking that."

Though what Kobeni said, made both Tendo and Kurose realize that they didn't even check what happened to themselves.

"W-What do you mea-"

It didn't take long for them to see their new, "Changes", with Michiko, she immediately noticed her skin color has changed into a yellow gray color, her hands now sharpened like claws, in fact, all six of her hands, she had two normal dominant arms that she would have normally, and four smaller ones, two on her shoulders, and two on her lower ribs chest area, her feet also, looks very different, longer and somewhat curved, there were all other details, however she has yet to see her face, but it didn't take long to find her reflection and see what she was given, the only thing that looked familiar was her hair and head shape, plus the scar over her nose, but everything else was just so different, the skin was obvious, but there was also some boney spikes poking out the center of her head and hair, her teeths became monstrous fangs, and her eyes, she had six red eyes in total, two normal dominant eyes, and four smaller ones.

"My body…"

As for Yutaro, he was also incredibly different, but in a different way in comparison to his partner, for example, he was much more shorter, like, way shorter, maybe child size, probably taller, with very thick and rock like reptile like skin, also has red eyes, but only two in total thankfully, he also had his hair, scar over nose, and face shape, though his face looked more blocky and had some spikes, another detail that made him much different from his human body was his density and weight, easy to miss at first, but he is much more heavier than before, so much so that he didn't realize until now that he was on a broken bed, broken because of his own new hybrid body.

"You two signed up for the revival program."

Luckily both Devil Hunters didn't have to wait too long to understand why they were like this, that being Kobeni was the one to revive them both.

"Even so, your body was too badly, "Damaged", to fix normally, so my Deviltrix had to add some alien DNA to fix you both."

Kobeni also explained why both Kurose and Tendo were more alien-like instead of human, because the reason being was that there weren't a whole lot of human parts to recover.

"What kind of alien?"

"MICHIKO TENDO: DNA MIXING: SOTORAGGIAN, YUTARO KUROSE: DNA MIXING: BAUZA."

Deviltrix also gave a chance to explain what kind of hybrid's they were, Michiko was a "Sotoraggian" hybrid, while Yutaro was a "Bauza" hybrid.

"Thank you Deviltrix."

Once Kobeni and her Deviltrix gave a proper explanation of what was going on, both Devil Hunters were just, well, they were just left speechless and just needed a moment to process everything that they've been told.

"So just like Himeno huh?"

Michiko tried using her new body, frowning when she struggled to control all six of her arms and get used to her new six eyes.

"Which also means we lose our human rights…"

Yutaro lets out a disappointed sigh as he realizes the price of being revived with a new body and lays back on the bed, though doing so broke the bed even more so thanks to his much heavier body.

"P-Please forgive me, I didn't mean for all of this to happen!"

Kobeni then suddenly started to cry, as the guilt of what happened to Tendo and Kurose finally got to her, though seeing her cry immediately made the two hybrids panicked.

"H-Hey! It's ok, we don't mind it!"

Michiko did her best to reassure and comfort the Deviltrix host.

"I mean, yeah, like you said, we signed up to be revived, and thanks to you, I can see my girlfriend Misa again."

'Though, that's if she'll still love me as this thing…'

Yutaro also attempted to let the shape-shifter know that it was ok, and how it wasn't her fault, though in the back of his mind, he knew it wouldn't be easy, but he didn't need to say that now, and to her especially.

"I'll still do everything I can to make it up to you both, you're my responsibility and it's my job to take care of you two."

This thankfully made Kobeni calm down and stop crying, however that didn't stop her from trying to make it up to the two Devil Hunters, promising she'll do everything that she can to make it right.

"Thank you, Kobeni."

"And we mean it, thank you."

Which both Yutaro and Michiko were very thankful for, knowing that Higashiyama wouldn't lie about making such a promise to them.

"Well, since you're here in my apartment, would you two like to join the party?"

However, once all was said and done, Kobeni decided to extend the offer and gave them the opportunity to join her party as well, which confused the two hybrids, clearly not knowing what she meant by that, nor was it ever brought up before.

"Party?"

Soon, once both Michiko and Yutaro were given clothes and a little bit more time to recover, the Deviltrix host leads them out of the guest bedroom and into where the party was happening, as well as all the guests that were a part of the party, like there was Himeno and Kishibe Rohan currently getting drunk after drinking tons of beers, Aki Hayakawa and Angel Devil just chilling on the couch and just relaxing, Denji and Power were fighting about something once again, with either Galgali attempting to stop the fight or Beam trying to prolong the fight, and then there was Makima, currently eating her 100th bag of Burger King, with Princi standing by her side ready to give her more.

"I see you've been successful with reviving both Michiko and Yutaro."

Makima was the first to notice the trio arriving at the party, but it didn't take long for the others to notice as well.

"Well look at that, now I'm not the only alien hybrid here, yay!~"

Himeno, who was very drunk, seemed to be really happy to not be the only revived alien hybrid here.

"Hey, what about me?"

"YOU DON'T COUNT!"

Kishibe gave a drunken pout when he got rejected by Himeno, even though he was also technically revived as well, but clearly still looked human despite that.

"If you don't mind, I would like to speak with Kobeni privately."

Makima, even though she spoke casually while still eating her burger, for someone still made Tendo and Kurose worried for some reason, as if expecting something bad to happen with the shape-shifter.

"Enjoy the party you two."

Kobeni however was able to reassure them and tried to make them leave and enjoy themselves with their new lives, again the two Devil Hunters were still concerned, but didn't say or do much more than that and just simply walked off to have fun in the party, finally leaving the two by themselves.

"... How badly did I mess up?..."

Kobeni sighs, as she could already guess why the Control Devil wanted to speak with her personally.

"Not that much, if you can believe it."

Makima actually spoke with Higashiyama with the same casual tone, with no hint of sarcasm or anger in her voice.

"Obviously you committed a large amount of property damage, but you were able to pay for and even fixed most of it thanks to your Demon transformation."

Makima begins to list off every bad thing that the Deviltrix host and how she fixed it, like how she solved the damage she caused.

"Also, despite you going on a rampage, you haven't killed anyone, and those you seriously hurt, well, you also managed to fix them up."

As well healing anyone who suffered from the shape-shifter mistakes.

"Plus, with the involvement of Reze and some Russian thugs, we have someone to blame for your mistakes."

Makima even mentioned how she was able to cover up the crime and basically point the finger at someone else.

"I'm still waiting for the bad news…"

Yet despite all the good news that Kobeni was hearing, she was still expecting for the other bomb to be dropped and explode on her face.

"The higher ups aren't particularly happy, like I said you didn't mess up that badly, and since you're not a Devil or a Hybrid, you won't be "Punish" harshly for it."

Makima still attempted to soften the blow of what she was about to say next.

"But I'm still gonna be punished for it?"

But Kobeni was able to catch on quickly and already knows what happens next.

"If it makes you feel any better, you won't be demoted nor will your pay be docked."

Makima took the last bite of her burger as she then looked straight into the eyes of Higashiyama, which made her flinch when she saw how serious she suddenly looked with those swirly eyes.

"However, you will be put in a tighter leash, luckily I will be the one to hold it, so your freedom won't be completely restricted."

Even though Makima was still trying to be nice about what she was saying, it was clear that what she was saying was not something to be taken lightly.

"But if I tell you to do something, I expect you to listen, and if you plan to do something important, like say go traveling, you will not be doing it without my supervision, understand?"

As Makima used her stern tone and serious expression to get her point across, the Deviltrix host quickly nodded and understood everything that was being told.

"I understand, thank you for going easy on me, and I promise to do everything to make up for my mistakes."

Yet despite being told what the punishment was, Kobeni still thanks Nayuta for going easy on her, which did make her feel terrible for being let go so easily, however she only used this as an opportunity to fix her mistakes and make sure it would never happen again.

"Hey, what are Sister for?~"

The shape-shifter still blush and gets slightly embarrassed whenever Makima calls her sister, especially when doing it with a teasing smile, Higashiyama just puffs her cheeks and is about to leave, assuming the conversation is over.

"Oh, one more thing before you go."

However, Makima stopped her before she did, clearly wanting to ask the Deviltrix host something before she left.

"Yes Makima?"

Kobeni tilts her head curiously and ready to listen to what the Devil of Domination had to say.

"How much do you remember during your time as a rampaging alien?"

Makima simply asked, making the shape-shifter assume it was just an innocent curious question that she had no issue answering.

"I only remember fighting and causing a mess, but I can't recall anything specific."

Though unfortunately, there wasn't a lot that Kobeni could answer for, besides a few moments and glimpse, she had no memory of what she was being asked for.

"I even tried asking my Deviltrix, but they only said that they were too focused on protecting my children to remember."

Kobeni couldn't help but feel sad and disappointed with herself for giving such an unsatisfying answer.

"A shame, but can't be helped, you may continue as you were."

Though luckily for Higashiyama, the answer she did was something that Makima wanted to hear, and with nothing more to ask, simply dismiss the Deviltrix host, who was a bit confused, but decided to leave it at that, bowing and giving thanks before leaving to do her own things.

'How incredibly lucky I am that she doesn't remember our encounter…'

Makima huffs as she recalls all the things she did and done to the shape-shifter during the rampage and how she could've exposed herself then and there.

'I need to be more careful next time… As well as to not hesitate…'

With this lesson learned, Makima nows know what she might need to prepare for when the time comes for what she "Needs To Do" for the future, though before she could continue thinking about the future, she noticed that she her Burger King bag was empty, clearly she still wanted more, and so looked at the Arachnophobia expectantly.

"Another Whopper burger please."

"As you wish, Mrs. Makima."

As everyone was enjoying themselves in the party, Higashiyama decided to go to her bedroom to check up on something, though when she arrived and opened her door, she was immediately met with the man with the Chainsaw heart sitting on his bed.

"O-Oh, I didn't expect you to be in here."

This definitely startled and surprised Kobeni, as she didn't know that the young hybrid would be in her room.

"Sorry for coming in without your permission, I just wanted to see your eggs, I hope you don't mind."

Thankfully Denji's intentions for being in the room wasn't anything bad, as he was just simply interested with the three large eggs sitting on the center of the bed.

"It's ok, though maybe ask next time."

Kobeni didn't have a problem with the blonde being here luckily, in fact, she walked up to him and sat next to him, also wanting to be near her eyes and just simply watch them as well.

"I bet popping these out must've been tough, huh?"

Denji, not wanting to be a quiet weirdo, attempted to make small talk with the Deviltrix host.

"I'm sure it was, but fortunately for me, I don't remember it."

Kobeni smiled as she reached out and gently rubbed the three eggs, like how a mother would pet their child.

"Have a name picked out for them yet?"

Denji looks at the shape-shifter's curiously.

"I want to name them the moment when they hatch."

Kobeni sighs, already feeling stressed at the idea of naming her kids on the spot. After that, a moment of silence had fallen between the two, no one said anything as they just continue to watch and admire the three eggs before them.

"... I'm sure you'll be a good mother to them, even if they weren't humans."

And after a moment later, Denji suddenly said something that definitely caught Higashiyama by surprise.

"I… I could only hope…"

But despite such kind words, Kobeni couldn't help but doubt herself and her abilities.

"Kobeni, I know you will."

However Denji refused to let such ideas sink into the mind of the Deviltrix host, placing a hand on her shoulder and making sure she heard what he would have to say next.

"And I have the experience of living with you to prove it."

And what Denji said, it wasn't a whole lot, but it was enough to make the shape-shifter blush very brightly, not expecting to hear such a thing from him.

"T-Thank you, Denji."

And yet, hearing it come from him, it was enough to not only give her some confidence, but even made Kobeni's heart beat faster than normally, which was something that the Chainsaw Man noticed.

'Is this the perfect time to ask?'

Denji immediately started to look nervous as he was suddenly given a choice to make at this very moment.

'Should… Should I actually ask her to be my girlfriend?'

Denji started to shake and sweat, as he was now incredibly stressed out and very nervous about what he was about to do.

'B-But what if she rejects me?'

A hint of fear was momentarily invading Denji's mind and heart.

'No, I will never know if I don't try.'

But Denji immediately shakes such thoughts and feelings out of his mind, and regains whatever confidence and determination he could muster within himself.

'It's better to try than to never know for sure.'

Denji takes a deep breath and calms himself, if he is gonna do this, he wants to do it right. Once he feels more prepared and ready, he quickly looks at Higashiyama, refusing to back out now.

"Hey Kobeni, can I-"

"Denji Look!"

Yet despite all that, all of Denji's efforts were for nothing, as Kobeni immediately interrupted him and seemed to be more interested and focused on something.

"T-They're Hatching!~"

Even though the young hybrid was disappointed at his missed opportunity, as soon as Kobeni mentioned that the eggs were hatching, he instantly forgot his upset feelings and looked at what was happening before him with newfound interest.

"Holy shit…"

Denji went eyes wide, as he was suddenly overcome and overwhelmed with such unfamiliar yet intense feelings when he saw the three eggs start to hatch.

"Heh, hello Zig~..."

And the first egg that finally hatched was black and yellow one, revealing a Kineceleran boy with the same color, which Kobeni immediately named "Zig".

"Good morning Zag~..."

The 2nd egg that hatched next was the white and yellow one, with a Kineceleran boy that shared the same color, Kobeni named him "Zag".

"And nice to finally meet you, Zoom~..."

As for the last egg to hatch, was the white and black color, with a Kineceleran girl this time with the same color, which Kobeni named the last child "Zoom".

"Zig, Zag And Zoom?"

Denji couldn't help but be confused with the Deviltrix host "Unique" names for the Kineceleran triplets.

"O-Oh, do you not like the names?"

Kobeni immediately started to look sad when she assumed that her blonde friend didn't like the name she gave her babies.

"No, no, I didn't say that!"

Denji quickly panicked and tried to calm down and reassure that the shape-shifter picked wonderful names for her kids.

"U-Um, hi guys, uh, nice to meet you, I'm Denji?"

Denji, hoping this would be enough to distract her and change subjects, attempting to speak with the triplets, though much to his surprise, they all started crawling, or attempted to, onto his laps and just nuzzle up against him, clearly he wasn't expecting this to happen, and yet, he couldn't help but feel, "Happy?", about it for some reason.

"Hehe, they like you already~"

As Kobeni giggles and finds the whole thing cute, a certain Ghost Lady could be seen stumbling drunkenly by, not sure on where she was going.

"Oh. My. God."

But wherever Himeno was going, was clearly not important, as her full focus and attention was now aimed at the now born Kineceleran Children.

"HEY EVERYONE! THE EGGS HAS FINALLY HATCH!!!"

Though it didn't take long for everyone else to join in the excitement and curiosity of the newborns, you have people like Michiko, Yutaro and Princi, who gave simple congratulations, Aki and Power, who swore to protect them, Himeno and Galgali, who were eager to hold them, Beam and Angel, who weren't allowed to hold them, and finally Kishibe and Makima, who also gave congratulations and took a chance to interact with the newborns, though unknown to most, were currently thinking about the future and what they plan to do to handle these Kineceleran, which gone unnoticed to Kobeni, who just smiles and watch her children snuggle against Denji when they were brought back to him.

'Welcome to your new life, I promise to do everything to make it perfect for you three~...'

YES! ARC FINALLY OVER YAY! Next up would be Darkness Devil and Bow Devil Arc, so get excited for that~

(BTW extra info, Michiko Tendo basically became a hybrid of SixSix, SevenSeven, and EightEight species, while Yutaro Kurose became Solid Plugg species, though that didn't have a name so used his voice actor last name "Bauza" as the species name)
