New chapter yaa!
A mere day had passed when the news about All Might being a professor at U.A. University had spread across the nation. Newscasters were broadcasting it on all news while reporters quickly gathered around U.A. University, eager to get an exclusive interview with the legend himself. Quite a few were making a nuisance of themselves to the students as they shoved their microphones into their faces, hoping to get a quote or confirmation about All Might.
Izuku watched from a distance with distaste at how the reporters were harassing the students. Some seemed to enjoy being on television, some were shy, and others disliked having reporters up in their face.
Shrugging, Izuku easily navigated himself through the crowd, weaving through blind spots before entering the premises. Other students, like Momo, had a designated garage that her chauffeur dropped her off, and since Ochako, Itsuka, Yui, Setsuna, and Reiko lived in the same apartment complex, they hitched a ride with her.
One particular female news reporter, new to the job, tried to enter into U.A. following a student in hopes of getting a better chance of scoring an interview with All Might.
"You idiot!" lectured another reporter as he grabbed the reporter by the scruff of her shirt, pulling her back.
Instantly, the entrance slammed shut in front of her, steel doors barring her way.
"What was that?" asked the female news reporter.
"That's the U.A. Barrier, as we like to call it," said the more experienced news reporter, "Prevents intruders from getting in, including us. And don't think about doing something stupid like climbing over the wall. The rat's already got that part covered."
The news cast members frowned as they lost an opportunity, but stubbornly waited around in hopes of having another chance.
Lost in the crowd though was a man in a black hoodie, looking at the entrance of U.A. with a disgusted glare.
"Geez, that was stressful," groaned Tsutsutaka as he sprawled onto his desk, "They just kept coming."
"I swear, I felt someone grope my ass," growled Chikuchi, huffing in indignation, "I tried to find who it was, but I couldn't get a good look. The only thing I think I saw was a flash of purple."
Izuku frowned at that, but their conversation was interrupted by the bell. Quickly getting to their seats, it wasn't long before their homeroom teacher Midnight entered the room.
"Alright class, I hope you're ready for what's to come!" announced Midnight, snapping her teaching stick onto the board, grabbing everyone's attention, "We'll be electing a class representative today!"
While the students began to murmur in interest, Midnight continued her explanation, "The class representative will be responsible for representing their respective classes, especially when it comes to certain events, as leaders. They will also be working alongside the staff as the main point of communication for these events."
The class began to burst into conversation about this, only to be silenced with a whip of Midnight's stick.
"Now then, if there is anyone interested, please raise your hand so I may write your name up on the board," ordered Midnight.
While most of the classmates raised their hands, Izuku did not. He wasn't interested, and he was well aware he was not the most popular in his class, due to his special situation. Not only that, but it would limit his time to cultivate properly at home if he needed to stay after school to help out with the university.
Izuku was aware that ,compared to other cultivators his age in other worlds, were improving faster than he was because they didn't attend schools like he did, limiting his time. The only fact that he could only catch up was due to the fact his masters not only created the best spiritual gathering array within his house, but was also able to create a time manipulation array that dilated time when he was inside. That was to say when activated, Izuku could spend 10 hours inside while only 1 hour passed in real life.
Izuku had once raised his concerns to his teachers, not wanting to fail their expectations, only for them to laugh and waive it off. They respected his world's customs, and were in no hurry, considering they were ageless beings.
"Yo, you don't wanna get in on this?" asked Tsutsutaka, "Being Nezu's personal student should count for something."
"It's because of that," replied Izuku, "I don't think I exactly qualify for the position as I'm also a student of 101-N, even if it's just me."
"Good point," nodded Chikuchi, "Conflict of interest if possible. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Dean Nezu made you the head representative of all the classes because of your position."
Izuku shivered at the thought of that. It could very well be possible if Nezu felt like it. Shaking his head, Izuku decided to focus on his studies. Mainly the formations that Nie Li had left for him. Izuku only looked up after Midnight declared just who the class representative and vice representatives were. Seeing as they were unfamiliar figures, Izuku shrugged and focused back on his studies.
Meanwhile, at the Heroics Department
The two hero course students had been gathered together to discuss and watch each other's battle videos before splitting into groups. Each group was composed of the hero team and villain team that had fought against each other, and their assignment was to write up what could have been improved on both sides.
Meanwhile, the homeroom teachers along with Toshinori were watching the videos while critiquing not only the students, but also Toshinori's teaching style.
When it came time to watch Izuku's video, Aizawa scoffed.
"He's too reliant on support items," said Aizawa, "Strip him of that, and he's just an easy target."
"I disagree," said Vlad vehemently, "Look at how he fights and moves! Most freshmen if not all can't fight like he can, nor can our upperclassmen."
"Yet," emphasized Aizawa, "Experience that they can easily gain and catch up, if not surpass the boy. He's foolishly clinging onto a dream that he should have been dissuaded from a long time ago. In time, it won't help him, and he'll become a hindrance."
In his mind, Aizawa pondered about confiscating Izuku's support gear to give to more worthy students, like his own apprentice.
"Don't think about it," warned Toshinori, predicting what Aizawa was thinking, "All those support items you saw young Midoriya used were created by the boy himself. He even has it patented so only he can use it or distribute it to whom he trusts. So if it ends up in young Hitoshi's hands, he better have asked permission."
A clear emphasis on the word permission was enough to let Aizawa know that he could not try to use a loophole, such as using Brainwashing into giving permission. Aizawa merely scoffed before he stood up and left.
"I seriously can't understand why he is so against Midoriya," sighed Toshinori.
"I think it might have something to do in the past when he was a student, along with Hizashi. I don't know the details, but Midnight and Hizashi seem to know more about it," hummed Vlad, "But even then, it's our duty as professors to help nurture students to their dreams, not just write them off as unworthy. I remember one of my students that was transferred to my class because Aizawa wrote her off because of her quirk. Now, she's a powerhouse."
"Her quirk? Really?" asked Toshinori.
Vlad slightly coughed before replying, "That, and the student in question might have tried to kick him in the nuts for his careless words. And given her quirk allows her to enhance her leg strength and the fact she never misses a leg day…. even with Erasure, it would have been painful and we'd be left trying to pick up the pieces."
Toshinori could only wince at that thought.
Time passed until lunch finally arrived for the students. Packing up his things, Izuku stood up, only to find the vice representative standing in front of him with some packets in hand. Before he could say or do anything, though, the class representative suddenly appeared behind him, and with a mighty pull, yanked the vice representative's ear, pulling him away from Izuku while lecturing him about letting power get into his head.
"That was weird," blinked Tsutsutaka, "What did he want?"
"Probably trying to lord his power over Izuku, only to be dragged off," said Chikuchi, "Let's go eat. I'm starving."
The trio quickly left to join the ever growing line that led to the cafeteria. Luckily, the line moved fast, thanks to Lunch Rush being able to cook vast amounts of quality meals within the same amount of time it takes a fast-food restaurant to prepare a meal for one person.
Grabbing their food, they made their way to an empty table to eat. They were later joined by Momo, Ochako, Itsuka, Yui, Setsuna, Reiko, and Inasa. Inasa quickly waved Tetsutetsu over to join, who promptly also invited Eijiro, who tried to drag a grumpy Katsuki with him. That ended in failure.
"So who's your class representative?" asked Tetsutetsu, breaking the ice first, "Kendo and Yaoyorozu tied, and in the end, decided to just have them share the position."
"It's a good choice," nodded Izuku, "Both of them have been in leadership positions before, and are just as charismatic. I haven't really met the rest of your classmates besides the training exercise that we did, but none of them screamed charisma more than these two."
"I feel like I do," huffed Setsuna, though in a joking tone, "These two knuckleheads would just charge forward without thinking."
EIjiro and Tetsutetsu acted as if they were insulted, but didn't deny the statement. They knew they were a bit of hotheads, and they stood by it.
While the rest laughed, with Inasa being the loudest, something unusual happened.
VREEEEEE
A screeching alarm suddenly went off, shocking them all. An announcement soon followed after.
"Level 3 Security Breach detected. All students are to evacuate outside in a swift and orderly manner."
Izuku was aware of what that meant, having been taught by Nezu. He was not, however, prepared nor amused by the reaction of the students. Most of the students began panicking, trying to shove their way to the exit to safety.
'These are young adults. They should have a better sense of responsibility and calmness,' thought Izuku to himself.
He could see a few students trying to calm the other students, but they were being overwhelmed by the other panicking students.
Izuku immediately activated his Purple Demon Eyes to see what was the cause of the whole commotion. Zooming in towards the windows, he noticed a group of reporters had somehow broken into the grounds.
'Are they insane?' questioned Izuku, 'Even if they managed to break through the wall, there are plenty of other defensive measures that Nezu installed on the grounds that may trigger if you don't have the proper credentials, like having an ID card for instance. Nezu must have disabled them to avoid a bloodshed.'
Nezu had given Izuku a small peek at the defenses he had at U.A. while teaching him, also asking him to help suggest expanding his defenses. Frankly, Izuku was slightly frightened at what he saw and pondered how Nezu had even managed to get away with half of it. Of course, Nezu didn't have formations or arrays like his masters' sects had, or even his own house, but that was understandable. Insead, Nezu relied on more technological advances to protect his university.
Izuku was tempted to create one for Nezu as thanks for accepting him as a personal apprentice, but it would lead to how he knew such things. Izuku knew one day, he would need to tell the truth. But for now, he was content on letting his secret be known little by little.
"Get off me!" shouted a student.
"Out of my way!" roared another as he grabbed another student, trying to shove them away.
"Eek, I think someone touched my ass!" screamed a female student.
"Mmmmm, touch me more~," said another student, causing quite a few to try to get away from him.
Taking another glance at the crowd that was failing to calm down, Izuku instantly created a plan.
"Yamato, buff up Yoarashi. Yoarashi, take a deep breath and prepare to shout. Momo… earplugs," ordered Izuku calmly.
Everyone immediately understood what Izuku planned and quickly acted. Momo mass produced some disposable earplugs, quickly passing them along. Inasa jumped onto the table, taking a deep breath.
"You got this bro!" cheered Tsutsutaka as he used his quirk on Inasa, amping him up as he put on his earplugs.
Inasa felt himself being empowered, taking a deeper breath before letting his already loud voice ring out far stronger than usual.
"HHHEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" roared Inasa.
His roar instantly attracted everyone's attention, causing the majority of panicking students to stop trying to force themselves out of the exit, and in turn, endangering others. His voice was loud enough that the windows themselves began vibrating.
"STOP PANICKING!" shouted Inasa, glancing down at Izuku for a second.
Inasa saw Izuku mouth the words reporters and windows before glancing at the window from his position. Inasa saw a bunch of reporters had somehow broken in, but were already being intercepted by the staff, using this information to continue his thought process.
"WE ARE ALL YOUNG ADULTS! WE SHOULD NOT PANIC SO EASILY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S JUST THE PRESS. OTHERWISE, WE WILL JUST END UP HURTING EACH OTHER!" continued Inasa as he stopped to finally take a deep breath.
Everyone glanced at each other, some with guilty faces when they saw other students with bruises that they might have unintentionally caused.
"You heard the man!" shouted another student that stood up, "Let's get through this in an orderly and calm fashion! Senior Hero students, please go to the front or the back, depending on which is closer. Sophomore and Junior Hero students, please make your way to the sides to help guide and protect while the rest of the students, please make your way to the designated area!"
With a clear loud voice, the student instantly calmed the rest of the group and followed orders. Hero students alike followed orders, making their way to the edges of the group to help protect the students if needed, with other students letting them pass.
"Good job," said the student as he turned towards Inasa, "A bit loud for my taste, but an effective tactic nonetheless. Are you an upcoming hero student perhaps?"
"Yep!" grinned Inasa, "101-B Yoarashi Inasa! But it wasn't my plan. I just had the voice for it. Midoriya here is the one with the plan!"
"Midoriya? Midoriya Izuku?" asked the student for clarification before turning towards Izuku, "I see. I heard rumors about Nezu taking on an apprentice, but I didn't quite believe it."
Shaking his head, the student quickly brushed his hair to the side, raising his hand towards Izuku for a handshake.
Izuku politely took his hand, giving a firm grip and getting one in return.
"I know the freshmen haven't been formally introduced to who I am, but I am U.A. 's student council president, Alan Lamperouge," introduced the student.
Izuku quickly scanned the student, looking for any sort of suspicion. The newly introduced student council president seemed rather scrawny despite his height, though he did look handsome with his black hair that shaped around his face and unique violet eyes.
"And I see Miss Yaoyorozu is here as well," greeted Alan, turning towards Momo, "Looking beautiful as usual."
"Lamperouge," greeted Momo, "It has been awhile."
"You know him?" asked Ochako.
"We're acquainted," admitted Momo, "His company is also quite famous, working alongside the Ashford family. My father has told me that there is a chance of a collaboration."
"And don't forget that Alan's grandfather proposed an arranged marriage between Alan and Yaoyorozu," chimed in a female voice, throwing oil into the flames.
The said voice came from a blonde student, who threw herself onto Alan like a cape.
Izuku's eyes immediately narrowed, to which Alan quickly raised his hands up, palms out.
"Pay no heed to that rumor," said Alan quickly but calmly, "My vice-president, Mily Ashford. She likes to joke a bit. While it is true my grandfather did propose this out of nowhere, it was firmly rejected by not only the Yaoyorozu family, but my father and myself as well. I have no interest in such things, and judging from your glare as well as you fellow students, will continue to keep on that path, if not for my own safety."
Alan looked around before putting his arms down, "Come. We can finish talking while we walk towards the designated areas, otherwise we'll be the only ones in the cafeteria."
Looking around, Izuku and the others noticed they were indeed the last ones left, and quickly stood up to follow.
Waiting at the exit were two more senior Hero Course students, waiting for everyone to leave.
Alan nodded to them as they left, and the two quickly followed after clearing the room of any stragglers.
Alan continued his conversation with Izuku from earlier, "I have no interest in pursuing someone who already has a partner. My vice-president merely likes to tease others a lot, and it takes a lot to control her."
As he said this statement, he lightly bopped Mily's head, causing her to pout.
"Are you a hero student?" asked Itsuka in curiosity.
Alan laughed loudly before replying, "Heavens no. I have no interest in such a profession, nor does Mily. Too much physical work for me, and my build doesn't necessarily let me do that. I'm in the Department of General Education."
"That, and you disdain from too much physical exercise despite us pushing you," sighed a hero student with light brown hair and forest green eyes from behind.
Alan merely chuckled at that statement, not denying it before turning towards Izuku and the others once more, "My friend, Suzaki. Don't underestimate his strength. Despite his skinny build, he is far stronger and athletic than appearances belies. His Quirk, a simple strength enhancement, has allowed him to compress all types of his muscles far more than a normal person does. Because of that, the quality of his muscles have risen past the norm. People keep underestimating what he can do, so it's always funny when they witness him punching out villains two to three times his size."
"If you spent just a little more time in the gym, you could be a hero too," mumbled the female senior hero student with red spiky short red hair and blue eyes, along with a well endowed body, "Especially since you've figured out your own quirk as well as ours even better than most counselors."
"You weren't complaining about his strength when Alan managed to lift you up by your thighs to fu-" began Mily, only to have her mouth shut by the said student, blushing crimson.
Alan chuckled, shaking his head before deciding to switch topics, "So, how's being Nezu's apprentice?"
"Tiring, but rewarding," replied Izuku, "But out of curiosity, what is your quirk? From what your friend said, it seems powerful."
"It is," nodded Alan, not denying it, "It's called Absolute Obedience. It's triggered through direct eye contact, and whomever I use it on will obey my orders for one minute. There are some limitations, though I won't bother with the details. However, I can't and won't order someone to do something drastic, like commit murder or suicide."
"That is powerful," gasped Ochako in slight fear.
"Don't worry, there are ways to dodge or block it," smiled Alan, "Plus, I have my friends to restrain me from going too far. Especially Suzaki, who'd kick my ass before I even got too far. Now, in exchange, I've heard from the grapevine that you're quirkless. Is that true?"
"Yes," said Izuku, not even deflecting it, "Is there a problem?"
Alan laughed before replying, "Oh heavens no. Just merely curious. The fact you attracted Dean Nezu's attention despite it just makes it much more interesting. Even people with some form of intelligence enhancing quirks still fall short before him and others who don't even have such abilities. It's intriguing how those people try to act high and mighty only to fall hard, especially when they don't even try to hone those skills. Not to mention if I was biased against those quirkless, I wouldn't be fit to be the student council president or a big brother."
"We've arrived," noted the red haired student, "We should get to our groups."
"Thank you Karen," nodded Alan before turning to the group, "It was a pleasure meeting you all. Hopefully we will see each other once more."
Izuku watched them leave before turning towards Momo to ask her a little more details about Alan.
"Not much," said Momo, "I know despite his age, he is secretly the chairman of his own company. His parents died while he was young, and was actually taken in the Ashford family, who raised him like family. The current chairman is Mily's grandfather, but he doesn't mind being the figurehead. From what my grandfather told me, he is doing it so as to allow Alan some semblance of a childhood. However, he's very intelligent, and has closed in on several deals that have raised the standing of the company faster than the current chairman could have done. I've heard Alan doesn't get along with the older generations on his father's side of the family, and is engaged with Mily. Which was a surprise when his grandfather tried to push for an arranged marriage between Alan and me. It was soundly rejected by both sides though, so it didn't gain any traction."
Momo gave a small frown before continuing, "Though I've heard that he's a bit of a playboy, and that trait was apparently somewhat inherited, as his father and grandfather also had wives and concubines. And from Mily's words about Karen, it's not just a rumor."
"And we're not in the same position?" teased Itsuka as she hugged Momo.
"Word," nodded Yui.
Momo blushed before coughing, "Lastly, I heard that he has several half brothers and sisters, though he's only close to a very few, and one little sister whom he dotes on very much. The said sister is apparently quirkless and was disinherited from the family, but Alan refuses to listen to his father's side of the family to throw her out to the streets. I suppose that's where his words as a big brother come into play."
Izuku glanced over to Alan, who was smiling as another freshman, whom he remembered seeing her seated in class 101-E, hug Alan. She was also one of the ones who had enthusiastically clapped for him when Nezu announced his placement in 101-N. Giving a small smile, Izuku turned back to where his class was lined up.
Dean Nezu stood in front of the crowd of reporters with a stoic expression on his face. He had not been amused when the reporters somehow infiltrated the first line of defense within U.A. university, and without hesitation, poured into the campus, all just to get the first interview with All Might as a professor. If he hadn't been fast enough on deactivating the other defenses, then there would have been no need for this little meeting. Though Nezu had been severely tempted not to deactivate them, there would have been blood and body parts all over campus, and most importantly, paperwork to fill out. Though he was on the fence whether that had been the right choice.
Nezu coughed once, getting all the reporter's attention, before addressing the crowd.
"News reporters," began Nezu, tempted to call them by some other derogatory terms, "You are trespassing on private property. It should have been obvious considering the security around the border, but allow me to reiterate. This is not a normal university where you are allowed to waltz into the grounds. This is a private university where not only do we train heroes, but also keep valuable data on both heroes and technological advances. Both of which are protected under the law, thus making U.A. a private institution where you need permission to step on campus."
"The public has the right to know about All Might being a professor!" yelled out a news member, "He needs to be interviewed!"
"And he has already agreed on a date," riposted Nezu smoothly, "All of your news network should've already been informed 4 hours ago, when you were crowding around the gate. The fact that despite being informed, you still broke into U.A. university.
"There was a hole in the wall," shouted another one desperately, "We thought that it was… a villain attack! So we decided to find the villain to get a good shot of him or her!"
"That still does not excuse you for trespassing," growled Nezu, "In fact, it just made it worse. Because of your 'eagerness', you forced us to disable more of our security measures to ensure you weren't harmed. In case you forgot, the U.A. barrier is merely the first line of defense, not the only line."
Nezu motioned for Ectoplasm to create a clone, who began walking on the same grass that the reporters had trampled over not long ago, confusing the reporters.
It soon became obvious as the clone, which was walking over the grass, suddenly stepped on something that made an audible click noise.
"Landmines?" questioned a reporter before a pink explosion rang out with a shockwave.
"Landmines!?" shouted half of the reporters.
"Holy shit, they planted landmines," gulped a cameraman.
In the distance where the students gathered, Izuku and Alan looked over to the distance.
"Looks like they found the landmines," chuckled Alan, having seen some of the defensive procedures due to his status as student council president.
"Oh my god, they planted landmines!?" gasped a female member of the student council with orange hair, "We walk our dogs out there."
After the pink dust cloud slowly faded away, Nezu turned towards the paling news members.
"Obviously non-lethal," began Nezu, "But an effective tactic to not only stall the intruder, but alert us where they are. One that we had to disable to avoid hurting you all despite the lack of self-preservation. We could not disable just one area, as while most of you went in a crowd, quite a few of you strayed towards other buildings, such as the student dorms or the support building. While it is questionable why you would head there if your objective was to find All Might, it still remains that we needed to round you all up before you found yourselves in danger."
The glint in Nezu's eyes said otherwise, though. It was obvious that those people had other nefarious objectives in mind, and Nezu was going to make sure what it was.
"That being said, because you forced us to disable this defensive measure, we were unable to narrow down just who was responsible for breaking down the wall nor ascertain what their objective was. Unless it was objective to hide the mass, to which you all are certainly guilty of doing, whether or not it was unintentional."
Luckily, there was another layer of security at the dorms and the support course areas that Nezu didn't disclose. That layer of defense hadn't been tripped, so it was obvious whomever had broken in wasn't aiming for the students or the lab data.
"Nonetheless, there will be repercussions. Otherwise, people will get the wrong idea," finalized Nezu.
He was very tempted to just shoot them all out of his newly custom-made human cannon that could load three people at once. He was, sadly aware, that it would be frowned upon. Still, it didn't mean he couldn't create another creative punishment for this trouble.
Needless to say, those who had been foolish to invade were either heavily demoted, if not had their jobs terminated after Nezu was through with them. News company had to cut them loose in fear of Nezu's retaliation.
One particular newbie, who had been the one to experience first-hand the first line of defense of U.A. university, could only breathe a sigh of relief. She had been tempted to join in the mass of reporters invading the U.A. campus when the hole opened up. In fact, she had leapt up and was running towards it when a senior member of her team yanked her back before she could even step foot into the campus. She had complained, bemoaned, and whined at the moment, but looking back now, she was relieved that she had been yanked back, even if it was a little rough. Otherwise, she would've been looking for a new job in a new field.
After clearing the pests, Nezu had the area where the breach happened. It was easy to see a giant hole on the door where it shouldn't have existed.
"Power Loader," said Nezu as he watched his top support professor examining the site, "What can you tell me?"
"It doesn't look like a normal break in," hypothesized Power Loader, "If it was done by brute force or explosion, then there should be shrapnel on the ground. The metal where the point broke apart should be jagged and pointed outwards from the source. Instead, it's flat. It's more like it somehow rusted into dust? Changed into dust? None of the reporters that were here have such a quirk listed on their profile."
"The main question is also why they did this?" mused Nezu, "Was there an objective they were looking for? Or was this merely a declaration of war or something deeper? It must be related to All Might becoming a professor here, the timing is too coincidental."
Izuku sat at home, cultivating in peace. Each breath that he took in contained purified energy that raised his Qi. Next to him were pills that he had created to help supplement his training. He was already at Platinum Rank 5 and consolidating base before attempting a breakthrough to Diamond. However, no matter how hard he tried, he found what seemed to be an impenetrable barrier.
"I could make a pill to break through this barrier, but it'll affect my future cultivation. Better to take this step properly. At this point, from what my masters told me, I'm transforming and purifying my current Qi. It feels like I've done all that I can, though. There must be something I'm missing. Or is it the fact I need to face some sort of challenge to break through? I would've thought fighting Nie Li's wife would've been scary enough."
Izuku pondered some more before deciding to shelve the thoughts away. For now, he would focus on his cultivation for a bit before going into the sealed world to take care of the gardens. He was especially curious in regards to Blessed Blue Crystal Drop after Chikuchi managed to start the germination process.
Not only that, but he also had to train in alchemy, formations, and blacksmithing. While most people would only choose one auxiliary skill, Izuku chose those three as a way to honor his masters' skills. Even while they told him it was alright to specialize in one, he stubbornly wanted to learn all that he could. While tiring, to him, it was rewarding, to create such items that a person with a quirk couldn't do so easily. With a smile, Izuku began checking on the plants, even going so far as to create a clone to help go through the tasks faster while also training and refining the new skill.
Outside at night, a few drunk young adults were stumbling along the gated area that led to Izuku's villa.
"Hey. Isn't that the quirkless freak's house?" slurred one of them.
These young adults had been applicants to U.A. university, only to fail their general exams. Not being smart enough to have backup plans while being overconfident about joining U.A., they were left wandering about, trying to either find jobs or becoming ronins for a year.
One of the drunken students had seen Izuku enter the area by complete coincidence and thought nothing of it until now.
"Yea, I heard that Nezu took pity on him," laughed another drunk, "It's pathetic."
"How about we teach him a lesson about knowing his place?" growled the third, being an angry drunk.
The two others agreed before all three jumped over the tall fence.
They immediately felt something was off when they landed. They expected their feet to hit the slightly hardened ground, not something soft and elastic. In fact, they sunk into the ground for a second before suddenly being shot into the air, only to meet another elastic barrier that chucked that out.
"How rude," scoffed Danjuro, appearing before them in his butler uniform, "If you uncouth youth can't read, allow me to educate you. This is private property, and this sign clearly states no trespassing. As if the gates weren't a sign as well."
"Who the hell are you?" shouted the drunk man.
"An ex-criminal and currently a butler to this villa and family," replied Danjuro as he pulled his gloves tightly, "I answer the door, clean up the estate, and take out the trash. I also make sure that self-entitled pricks like yourselves don't disturb the young master while he is training."
"It's 3 vs 1," shouted the drunk female as they charged forward at him.
"Gentle," said Aiba gently through the earpiece.
"Worry not," said Danjuro, "I don't need help to take care of this."
Danjuro slowly walked forward, causing the intruders to stumble backwards. This act infuriated the intoxicated young adults, and so they decided, against their better judgement, to attack. Each one of them jumped into the air, their respective quirks activating while doing so.
Danjuro created a small elastic barrier right underneath his foot as he stepped hard onto it, shooting himself forward right past the trio.
The trio couldn't even react, but upon seeing that he had merely rushed past them, they immediately tried to reorient themselves in the air to face him. They had failed to notice Danjuro creating three elastic air walls right in front of them when he passed them, causing them to crash into them.
'The idiot thought this could stop us?' questioned the most disgruntled and intoxicated of the trio, the one who had suggested attacking Izuku, 'He's merely just slinging us right back at him!'
The trio were indeed catapulted towards Danjuro, only to meet another elastic barrier that Danjuro created. They bounced back into the first barrier, only to bounce back into the second barrier, then back again and again, with the process never stopping. Due to the fact they never lost momentum and kinetic energy, the trio were submitted to feeling like super bouncy balls. They tried to reorient themselves, flailing their arms and legs in hopes to bounce away from the loop, to no avail. The fact they were heavily intoxicated worked against them, causing them to end up puking due to how dizzy they were. Yet the puke also bounced inside the trap, causing them to end up colliding into their own vomit.
"Stop, please!" begged the female drunk, now quite sober due to her dress being drenched in not only her own puke, but the others.
"I'm about to lose control of my bowels!" moaned another, not wanting to experience what it would be like to collide into their own shit.
Danjuro sighed as he politely took down the second barrier.
'I'm still too kind,' thought Danjuro as he watched the trio fly out into the air from the last collision of the first barrier, disappearing from his sight, 'But as a gentleman, I could never let a lady suffer too long.'
"Gentle, I have some tea ready for you when you get back," reported Aiba, "I also have a recording in case the idiot try to sue or slander you, marking as self defense. The Yaoyorozu lawyers have been notified just in case."
"Many thanks, Lover," thanked Danjuro as he turned back to the villa.
AIba, having control of the security system surrounding the area, had been the first to notice what they had planned, and had sent Danjuro to intercept them before they could do any real damage.
Next day
Izuku walked directly towards Nezu's office directly instead of going to 101-C. He had gotten an e-mail from him to tell him to report directly to his office.
Curious, Izuku did so, politely knocking on the door.
"Come in," announced Nezu, allowing Izuku to open the door.
"You must be curious as to why I brought you here," said Nezu as he poured some tea for Izuku, to which he politely accepted.
"Is the hero course doing something special?" asked Izuku.
"Perceptive," nodded Nezu, "Today is a joint training exercise for both hero course students. Originally, they were to be separated, but due to All Might's rather tight and limited schedule, we decided to accommodate his needs. I would have you joining them, but that would mean putting you under Aizawa's supervision, and I don't think the two of you are ready to meet in class."
Izuku merely shrugged, uncaring of what Aizawa thought of him. He would, however, not put it past the professor to attempt to fail him with his lack of professionalism towards him.
"So instead, you'll be working with me instead. True, you won't get the experience of a rescue operation for today, but we'll work on that in the future. Instead, I've requested Recovery Girl to train you in first aid and triage, something especially important for any hero work," said Nezu, "In the meantime, I'm looking forward to testing your mental capabilities a bit more."
Recovery Girl soon arrived and began to gently but sternly teach Izuku the basics, using a fake but almost realistic human cadaver as an example as well as other photos. She stressed the importance of safety standards, and most importantly, how a quirk could easily influence and change the situation of a person's body. With the arrival of quirks and individuality, the usual standard practice didn't apply as much anymore.
Here, Izuku began to shine with his talent in quirk analysis. Being able to identify the source of quirks and how they work quickly, he was able to deduce the cause of injury as well as differentiate what patients needed. Recovery Girl was impressed at his analysis as she began to slowly smile at Nezu's chosen apprentice.
Meanwhile, Nezu was glancing at his tablet, seeing the buses beginning to near USJ. At the same time, he was seeing several news reports about All Might stopping several villain activities before frowning. If he kept continuing this up, Nezu calculated that All Might would run out of time for USJ. Hopefully, everything would flow smoothly without All Might there. If anything, he could always adjust the lesson plan.
Next up, USJ! Let's see what happens muahahah!
