Season 4: Episode 6

Andrew bit his lip as he sat on his bed, he had been released from the hospital only a couple of days ago and was still recovering. The worst of the injuries were dealt with, but he still had lingering pain, but he wasn't having to deal with it alone. Clad in only a dark blue T-shirt and grey boxers, he shifted in his bed and turned his gaze towards the door to his bedroom as it opened and Marissa entered, smiling softly at him, dressing in a white short sleeved mid-thigh dress, the top part was form fitting showing her thick build and the shape of her generous bust, a bust he recalled all too clearly from their sexual escapades. Meanwhile the skirt flared out, swishing around her thick thighs as she walked, a pair of white flats finished the outfit.

"Marissa…" He began.

She smiled softly as she sat down. "Yeah, you alright, you need something?"

Andrew shook his head. "No, I'm fine, I'm...I just don't want you to feel like you have to do this...I can recover okay, you don't need to put your life on hold for me."
"I'm not doing that silly, I'm doing this because I want to, besides, after all you endured, you deserve some care." Marissa said with a giggle and a soft smile.

She leaned in and gently kissed him, he responded and then began trying to control himself, as his mind was starting to conjure up images of Marissa in a naughty nurse outfit.

'Ah dammit, down boy, down.' He told himself.

He relaxed, composing himself while trying to simple focus on recovering, actually glad for Marissa's help and care.

Beth sighed and shook her head, smoothing down her pink mid-thigh dress which she wore with a pair of matching flats, she was glad most of her injuries were all healed, thankfully no scars were visible on her legs so she was alright with her dress.

But of course her sigh prompted a reaction. "Beth, are you-?"

She turned to Brian who sat on the bed, clad in simple blue boxers and a white T-shirt. They had in fact been in process of moving into their own place, in preparation for their move up to the local college, it was an off-campus apartment and they had begun the move shortly before the kidnapping but now they were finally successful in their moving in. But it had been mostly Brian doing the hard work, despite her insistence and she knew exactly why.

"I'm fine Brian, I've been fine for a while." She said firmly. "That's something we need to talk about."

Brian blinked. "Beth, what are you, I just-?"

"You've been treating me like glass all this time, like I'm fragile, yes I was tortured and yes, I'm not fully recovered and I'm still having bad dreams, but I'm not some helpless butterfly, okay." She insisted. "I'll be okay, just please, I don't want us to change, just...let's keep things going the way we were."

Brian bit his lip. "You, I...you're right...Oh God, what have I been doing, I'm so sorry."

She smiled and walked up to him before gently kissing him and he understood, returning the kiss. They had other plans too and they had to get ready for them in the near future.

The peacefulness of the night in the Grimes home was shattered, by startled terrified screams. But even as they jerked awake from this, both Rick and Lori knew exactly what it was and shared a worried look before getting out of bed and hurrying towards Carl's room. Easing open the door they peeked in.

"I've got this, mom, dad." Carl said quickly.

They sighed but just nodded as Carl was already up, clad in just a blue tank-top and red briefs. He was already holding Jamie close, clad in black boxers and a black T-shirt.

"Another nightmare." Rick noted gently.

Carl nodded and they left while Carl turned his attention back to his beloved boyfriend, what he had endured, he could barely begin to understand. But he was still determined to ensure that Jamie would be safe.

"It's gonna be okay Jamie." He said gently to his boyfriend. "It's okay, you're safe now."

Jamie swallowed, tears flowing. "C-Carl, I...oh God, I'm sorry, I-"

"No, it's okay, don't apologize, just...hold on to me, let me help you, you'll get through this."

Jamie let out a shaky sigh and clung to Carl who hugged him back, both lying in the bed now, Carl comforting Jamie from his nightmare, doing his utmost to help him recover from what he had endured. The important thing was that the real terrors were now in the past. Negan was still out there, but he was alone now, they had a chance to now truly recover.
