A/N: I very finally outlined the rest of the chapters for Peverell's Progeny. I had the storyline down but had not divided into chapters yet. I expect to have another 16 chapters, give or take one.

Thank you for your continued support of this fic!

Harry walked to Ginny. She was sitting at the breakfast table with a cup of tea and June in her arms.

"Happy anniversary," Ginny said.

He bent down to kiss her. "Happy anniversary. And happy conception day to the little one."

She gasped, her brows knitting together. "Don't say that!"

He sat down beside her. "Am I wrong?"

She pouted, her gaze turning to June. "Probably not."

He leaned his chin on his hand. "I couldn't have stayed away from you if I wanted to."

Her eyes lit up, and the corners of her mouth turned up. "And how is that treating you?"

Harry dutifully neglected the basket of laundry over by the couch, or how disorganised the changing table had become. "Pretty good, what about you?"

Her cheeks coloured. "I'm annoyingly, deeply, madly in love with you."

His heart skipped a beat. Ginny lifted June so that Harry could see her face.

"And who doesn't want to be greeted by this cute face in the morning?" Ginny's hand brushed June's short ginger locks.

Harry beamed at his daughter. "Even when you're tired?"

"Especially when I'm tired."

Ginny stood up and handed June over. "I'll make breakfast."

"Oh my." He caressed June's cheek. "Mum's cooking!"

Ginny mumbled something under her breath too low for him to hear. She took a few items from the fridge and started making an omelette, diligently cutting bread into shapes Harry could not discern from where he was sitting.

She turned away from the stove. "I'll be honest, if you would have told me a year ago we'd be living together—"

"You would have been very excited."

Her lips pursed, brows furrowing. "Right. Suppose I would have been but point being…" She gestured towards him, June and the apartment.

He chuckled. "Yeah."

When Ginny started putting the items on his plate, he craned his neck to look.

She waved her hand. "Impatient."

He settled back in his seat. "Pfft." He turned towards the living room. "Where did we leave her bouncer?"

"The bathroom."

"Why?"

Her spatula hovered above the pan. "I had to shower and you were finishing the chapter of your thesis." She scooped the eggs onto plates.

"You could've disturbed me."

She put the spatula down and took up the salt and pepper, adding both. "I know."

Harry gave up on arguing with her and retrieved the bouncer from the bathroom. He set it down beside his chair and strapped her into it.

Ginny walked up with two plates. There was a sunny side up in a circular piece of toast, several toast sticks acting as sun rays and a few strips of bacon.

"Adorable."

Ginny smiled and kissed his forehead. "I know I am."

His arm wrapped around her waist.

"No, my eggs are going to get cold!" she objected immediately.

He released her reluctantly. She took her seat again and started on her food. Thankfully as soon as she was done, she sat down in his lap. She kissed him.

"I think we should hold a funeral," Ginny said.

He blinked. "Why?"

"Our friendship." She placed another kiss on his lips.

He laughed. "I don't think so."

"And why not?" She brushed her hand through his hair.

"If I give up my position as best friend, you would be in search of a new best friend and the jealousy would be unparalleled." His finger trailed up her spine, pulling her shirt up as he went.

She shivered at the sensation. "Fine."

"What do you want to do in the morning?"

"I know what I want to do as soon as she's asleep."

Both of them looked at June.

"I love her so much I can't even explain." Ginny sighed softly.

Harry nodded in agreement. "I don't think I'll get over that any time soon."

"Do you think all our babies are going to be so cute?" Ginny's arm hung lazily around his neck.

He looked back at her. "I mean, yeah."

Ginny caught his expression. "Harry. No."

"Harry, yes?"

She shook her head with a smile. "No. We'll have our second after we're married."

"That's just a matter of paperwork—."

Ginny placed a hand over his mouth. "Don't do that."

"Why?" he asked through her fingers.

She leaned closer to him as she lowered her hand and spoke very quietly. "Because in a moment of weakness I'll agree to it." She raised an eyebrow.

"I know. I know. Time and place and all those things. I am not opposed to more babies."

Ginny's expression was somewhat judgemental. "Oh, I know." She put her finger under his chin and softly tilted his head up. "You get your one baby to bed and we'll see about some fun activities."

"Do you think she'll sleep a full hour?" He gazed hopefully at June.

"Someone has big plans," Ginny teased. "I guess we'll just have to try and find out."

He kissed her cheek. "Very big plans," he agreed, kissing her cheek. "At least a 45-minute nap. You can decide what we do for the other fifteen minutes."

Ginny sat down with her food in the university's cafeteria. Harry sat across from her, checking on June who was hanging on his chest in a carrier. Luna and Cho took the spots beside them.

Ginny cut up her food and then Harry handed June over to her. She held June with one arm to nurse her, making sure she was feeding well before she dug into her own food.

"Are you sure you don't want to share a car to go to the cottage?" Luna asked. "I am sure we can fit a car seat in."

Harry shook his head. "It is not about the car seat. She just needs a lot of things and I promise you, it is not going to fit."

"It can't be that much," Cho said, popping a chip into her mouth.

Ginny smiled at Harry, and he returned it.

"The cottage does not provide any baby items so we will need a baby bed, a bouncer of some sort and a changing pad," Harry started listing off. "Then we need diapers because she is a poop factory, about a dozen different outfits because if she does not poop on them, she will puke on them. Then we need a few bottles, a breast pump… Am I missing anything?"

"Wipes," Ginny said. "And burping cloths. Baby soap. And then we still need to pack our own items."

Cho and Luna wore identical appalled expressions.

"So yes, we will be driving our own car," Harry concluded. "Then we can already put some items in the night before."

"We need to pick up that travel bed at your parents," Ginny reminded him. "June! Can you please focus? I know daddy is over there but this half-arsed effort is not cutting it."

Cho giggled and Ginny frowned at her.

"It is funny to hear you call Harry 'daddy' unironically," Cho told her.

Harry winked at Ginny. "Only with June present, otherwise it is forbidden."

"I tried once. Did not end well," Ginny said. "Right, darling?"

He hummed. "Precisely."

"Did you not also celebrate your first-year anniversary last weekend?" Luna asked.

Ginny nodded. "Yes, we did! We did nothing too exciting, had a cosy day in, ordered food."

"How did it feel to get to the first anniversary?" Cho asked, opening her bottle of water.

"You're one to talk," Ginny retorted. "No, actually I am going to put my foot down. I had dating experiences of longer periods. It was also Harry's first time to get to a first anniversary. Why is the emphasis always on me?"

"We thought you had commitment issues," Cho admitted. "Harry certainly doesn't."

She opened her mouth to speak, but then Harry spoke instead.

"She never had commitment issues; those guys just weren't quite right for her—for various reasons." He smiled at her.

She nodded. "Exactly." She looked at June. "Are you done, little miss? I think you are." She readjusted June and pulled her shirt straight again. "You weren't really hungry."

"She is a Weasley," Harry muttered. "She was definitely hungry."

Ginny smiled and kissed June's head. "Alright. Back to dad."

Harry picked her up and put her in one arm, finishing his pudding with his free hand. Ginny continued with her food and then cleaned up.

"Alright, so we just try to be there by like 4 pm, right?" Ginny confirmed. "I hope she will sleep in the car but it's really hit or miss."

Cho nodded. "Yes. And we promise no scheming."

"What would you even be scheming?" Ginny asked with a scoff. "Certainly nothing with us."

Harry came to stand beside her. "We should go."

"Like I said, no scheming. I think we have learned our lesson," Cho told them with a smile.

Ginny shook her head and took Harry's hand. They walked out together and headed to the correct room. Harry paused outside for just a minute. He kissed her softly before pulling her inside.

"Morning!" the professor greeted them. "How is our youngest student?"

Harry glanced. "I am hoping sleepy, but it remains to be seen."

"That is the only student that I prefer sleepy." Professor Brennan set aside her papers and walked up to them. "So I did have a discussion with the dean about catching up on your exams. It is just my class and the one of Slughorn. For me it is not an issue, I am happy to arrange that. Your results were really good so I do not expect any issues and you're both nearly finished with your thesis so I expect it will be feasible in terms of workload since Harry also need to catch up on Slughorn's."

"That is great news," Ginny said. "I was hoping that was the case. It will be a tough semester regardless, so if we can add those two we would be caught up and may even graduate in June, which would be lovely."

"We did study ahead in December, so I expect with some revision, it will be alright," Harry chimed in. "What about Slughorn…? Do you have any advice?"

The professor nodded. "He is not easy, but if you know how to impress him he will be happy to help. You should definitely make a personal appointment and explain."

"Thanks," Ginny said. "We really appreciate it."

"Sure thing."

Harry opened his laptop and began typing an email to Professor Slughorn. Ginny read along. He sent the email and received a reply before the class was over. He had a spot open on Friday.

They made their way to Slughorn's office with June strapped to Harry's chest and a box of crystallised pineapple in Ginny's hands. They waited for their allotted time.

Professor Slughorn stepped out and turned to them. "Ah, the Potters. Can I call you the Potters?"

"Yes, sure," Ginny said. She handed him the box. "I heard you get peckish on Friday afternoons. Would not want you to go hungry because you have an appointment to us."

Professor Slughorn eyed the box. "Oh. You shouldn't have!" He opened it. "These are my favourite!"

Ginny gasped, pretending to be surprised. "Is it really? I had no idea."

The professor eyed them, looking unconvinced. "Come on in." He walked in after them and sat down at his desk. He eyed the box for a moment but then put his fingers in and popped a piece in his mouth. "What can I do for you?"

"Both of us would like to graduate with the rest of our class, but we missed your exam and the one of Professor Brennan. I understand it would take some effort for you to organise another time slot for us to take the exam, but it would really help us out a lot." Harry caressed his daughter's hair. "Our little June was born a week before your exam. We did prepare and study but we could not make it."

Slughorn's eyes flickered to the baby. "I assume that is June?"

Harry nodded and pulled her out of the carrier. "Yes, this is our daughter."

June squirmed, her tiny hand balling up into a fist.

"You managed to take the other exams?" Slughorn asked. He looked at Ginny. "While pregnant?"

"Yes. I was past my due date for some of them even, but I figured as long as she wasn't appearing I may as well continue," she said.

Professor Slughorn nodded. "Let me pull up your grades." He typed into his computer. "Ginny Weasley here, and then Harry Potter. Hm." His eyes flitted across the screen. "Oh. Oh wow."

"We are also about to hand our theses in within the month, so that will be out of the way too," Harry

"Done too?" he asked. He took another piece of pineapple from his box.

"We anticipated we would be a little busier, we started earlier and we have a strict schedule we adhere to," Ginny clarified.

"I already have a job lined up too," Harry said. "They would love for me to start early July. Of course if I have to push it back, I am sure they would be willing to do so, but it does not leave a great impression."

"Indeed, it wouldn't," Professor Slughorn agreed. "I think I can make that happen for you. I would need to check availability." He took a post-it and took note. "I will contact you in a week or two. The other exam is from Professor Brennan?"

"Yes. Just for me," Ginny said. "Harry took that one."

"Okay. Thank you for coming by. I will let you know soon."

They stood up and thanked him, exiting the room. They walked down the corridor.

"June did great," Ginny commented. "Very cute and persuasive."

Harry nodded. "Indeed."

"When I found out I was pregnant I wasn't even sure if I'd be able to take this semester. I am glad I could," she said. "Graduating on time would be the cherry on top."

Harry smiled. "Well, you're superwoman. You can do anything you set your mind to."

"You make it possible, we make a good team," she said, returning his smile.

"Indeed," he said. "Us. The Potters."

They arrived at the cottage only shortly after Ron's car. Dean must still be on the way. Hermione excitedly opened the door for them.

"I'll feed her, and you unload," Ginny suggested. She walked inside, June in her arms. "Oh, it is weird to be back here."

Harry walked past her, holding two suitcases. "What room?"

"Yours from last year is probably best," she suggested.

He paused for a moment, and then he nodded. "I would have to agree." He continued down the corridor.

"Are you telepathic now or what was that?" Cho asked.

"I am sorry, did you want the room we had sex in or the room we had a lot of sex in?" Ginny teased.

Cho shook her head. "We just wanted you two to kiss, you know."

"And we did."

"Hello!" Seamus stepped in, Dean close behind. He walked up to Ginny. "How is the child?"

Ginny showed June. "Hungry at the very least, but growing well."

Seamus paused beside her. "Oh… Yes, indeed. It is your uncle Seamus!" He shook June's foot in greeting.

Dean and Luna appeared beside Seamus, looking at June too. Harry walked back out of the corridor and smiled.

"If you want to hold her, you better help me unload the car because she has a lot of junk," Harry commented as he walked past them to the car.

"Who? Ginny or June?" Dean asked.

Harry paused by the door and Ginny shook her head at him. He chuckled. "June, of course."

The group exited again and Ron reappeared from the corridor. She walked to the couch to nurse June.

"You're going to nurse out here?" he asked.

Ginny let out an exasperated sigh. "First of all, I don't care who sees my boobs—"

"Don't say boobs."

"—when I'm nursing. There are only two who haven't seen them. One of them is gay and the other is Neville." She smiled at Ron. "I think it'll be okay. If I am going to start caring about where I sit, she'll go hungry. Do you want a hungry Weasley?"

"Ha. No. And that's a Potter," he pointed out.

She snorted. "Half."

She had just begun nursing when Seamus walked in.

"Harry, your girlfriend is flashing us," he commented. He winked at Ginny.

Ginny shook her head. "Fuck off, Finnigan. We all know you're not a boob man."

"That usually means the kid stops crying, I wouldn't complain about that if I were you," Harry told him.

"Can we please stop talking about my sister's you-know-whats?"

"How about you all shut up and unload the cars while I do something actually useful," Ginny suggested.

Seamus paused. "That sounds like you no longer want help with unloading your car."

"Yes, we do," Harry said, gently guiding Seamus outside again. "And I brought a few beers you should try."

"Now we're talking."

With the cars unloaded, June put down for a nap, everyone was busy settling in. Dean and Neville had offered to take care of dinner.

Ginny walked into the room that had been Harry's last year.

"Brings back memories, doesn't it?" came from behind her.

She leaned back into Harry while his arms swept around her waist. "It does."

"Mostly good ones, I hope?" he told her.

She leaned to the side to look at him. "Obviously. I really try to muster some regret in getting pregnant but that involves not having June in our life, and I can't even fathom that. It's made our life harder and yet I can't bring myself to regret it."

"It's your mum heart." He kissed her cheek. "Don't forget this is the first and only place I ever asked a girl to be my girlfriend."

She looked at the bed, remembering that conversation fondly. "And she said yes? Impressive," she teased.

He kissed her neck. "And then we became a family and she will become my wife in a year or two."

She swivelled in his arms and kissed him. Her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him in.

"Oh, for fucks' sake," Ron said behind them. "You are not thinking of multiplying in this cottage again, are you?

Harry let her go, smiling. He squeezed her side and then turned around to her brother. "We ran out of the condoms you gave us like last week so…"

"Don't wind him up," Ginny teased, popping up beside Harry. "Or he'll retract his offer to babysit her."

Ron put his hands in his sides. "I would never do that. Poor June needs a moment away from you two fools. As her funcle and godfather, I have her best interest at heart."

"Food is ready," Dean called from the kitchen.

They walked to the dining table. Ginny put down the baby monitor by her seat. They put the food down on the table and Hermione began to give everyone a serving.

"Are you two finally going to admit how it happened?" Cho asked them.

Harry looked towards Cho. "You do know how kids are made?"

Ron groaned, Ginny attempted to kick him in the shins.

"No, you two dating," she clarified. "Come on."

Ginny sighed. "I am so over it by now, if you want to know I will tell you."

"What I want to know is when either of you realised you had feelings for each other. How long before the vacation?"

Harry shook his head. "We didn't."

"If you are going to lie, then you may as well say nothing," Seamus complained.

"I did not know," Ginny explained. "It may have been lingering for a while but I had no clue. I wasn't thinking about dating, and neither was Harry." She started thinking about the week, she mentally glossed over her drunken night with Dean. "You asked me about Harry, and it did not even cross my mind."

"But then she told me that when you stuck us in a closet. We were simply hugging because it was a tiny closet." Harry looked over at her and smiled.

"I told him that, and I think it was a light-bulb moment for him. And then he kissed me." She felt her cheeks heat up. "And that was really it for me."

"Honest to god I thought there was a small chance you were going to punch me in the nose," Harry said. "And after the number you did on David's nose, I'll be eternally glad you didn't."

"I was surprised for sure," she said. "I don't think we stopped kissing until you told us it was one minute to go."

Luna gasped. "No way! You were so composed when you came out!"

"I was way less composed when I came out of the closet," Seamus quipped.

The group laughed. Dean squeezed his hand.

"I wanted answers after that kiss," Ginny said. "So when you were all off to bed I went to talk to him and we did talk… but we were quickly otherwise occupied." She looked over at Ron. "If you want to cover your ears, now is the moment."

He shrugged. "I've given up."

"Normally I would not have sex so quickly in a relationship—it's usually too soon, you're still figuring each other out… but I had Harry figured out. We didn't need to take all those other hurdles."

"It was pretty easy," Harry agreed. "Except I wasn't sure about your feelings…"

"Do you remember when we did the city game, Harry chased me around outside?"

"Ooh!" Luna went. "We were hoping that would do something."

"You two are amazing liars; we could not tell at all," Hermione said. "You came in like nothing happened."

"I mean it was just a kiss." She eyed Harry. "But then I became pretty sure Harry was not going to be able to stay away from me."

"On Friday in the evening, we officially started dating." He threw her another fond look. "And she congratulated me on my first girlfriend."

Ron snorted. "No! You did not?"

"I most certainly did!" She beamed at Harry, before looking back at Ron. "I made a promise to myself I would do that when he finally saw sense. I didn't expect it to be me, but I didn't see how that would change anything."

"And then we conceived little June," Harry finished.

She shook her head, ignoring the snigger from Seamus. "You don't know that. You just think that's romantic."

"You said you were ovulating."

She nodded. "I may have been yes, but that does not mean anything."

"Is that what you two fight over?" Neville asked.

Harry chuckled. "We don't fight much."

"And when you found out you were pregnant?" Luna asked.

Ron looked over at Harry. Seamus glanced at Dean, which told Ginny he knew too.

She scrambled for something to fill the sudden silence. "Well… it was a shock, as you may recall. We did not fight, though. We sat down and talked about it, figured out what we wanted to do."

"Honestly I was so worried about Ginny's feelings about it, that I didn't sort my own out until later, which was probably a good thing." Harry locked eyes with her, a smile dancing around his lips. "And everyone ended up being really supportive, which has been a massive help."

"Yes," she agreed softly. She stood up. "Now, something important."

"Oh god, what?" Ron let out.

Harry leaned towards her. "Yes, I'll marry you."

"Get out of here." She jokingly swatted her hand at him.

He winked at her.

"As you remember I wrote down who else would start dating, and I think it's time we open the envelope," she announced eagerly.

"Really?" Seamus asked. "You brought it?"

Harry nodded enthusiastically. "She was really giddy about it on the way here. And I know what it says."

"Did you get it right?" Cho asked.

Ginny walked to her bag that stood by the couch and picked up the envelope. She handed it to Luna. "As you are the only one dating externally, you are the most impartial."

Luna solemnly took the envelope from her and stood up. "It is with great honour I announce the nominated couples."

She tore open the envelope, while the group was uncharacteristically quiet.

"The first assumption is…" She looked around the table. "Dean Thomas and…"

Dean shook his head.

"Seamus Finnigan!" She turned to Ginny. "Well done."

Dean leaned closer to Seamus. "Were we that obvious?"

"Nah…" Seamus said. "We were simply roommates who didn't want to stop doing that." He smiled at Dean. "Right?"

"That's…" Dean chuckled. "That's one way of putting it."

Luna smiled. "And our second couple is none other than her brother Ronald Weasley and…"

Seamus drummed with his hands on the table for added tension.

"One Hermione Granger!" Luna turned the paper around so they could see she wasn't lying. "Very good."

"See, it's not that hard and it doesn't need an elaborate scheme."

"We would still feel sorry if you hadn't looked happier than you ever been," Ron pointed out.

Ginny's gaze slipped Ron back to Harry, who tilted his head. She nodded. "I'm not mad about it. And I may very well have gotten pregnant regardless just because I wouldn't have been careful enough with him anyway. It was the whole scheme, I felt blindsided."

She threw a careful look at Harry, and immediately he offered her a reassuring smile.

She drew a deep breath in. "I am sure most of you recall David."

"Yeah, he was a douche," Dean commented.

Harry looked at him. "Not now."

"He manipulated the hell out of me, often in ways I did not catch until it was in hindsight. I know you think maybe I was too swept up with him and then I came back to the group, but he alienated me. I never admitted to it, because I was embarrassed I let it get so far."

Harry reached out and squeezed her hand.

"All the manipulation and the little things, I only saw that after everything was over." She took a deep breath. "So when you manipulated me and I only found out after, it brought back a lot of unpleasant memories. I know it's just a game, and it wasn't serious and trust me I am very happy with my Potters, but it left an uneasy feeling for a while."

Ron looked incredibly guilty, but as her brother, he understood it better than the others what impact David had.

"I am not mad that you figured it out before us, and perhaps we did need a little nudge. I don't know."

The table was incredibly quiet all of a sudden, and she was almost glad when June woke up. She stood up and went to get her. She smelled June's nappy as she walked back to the table.

"Harry, you're up, darling."

He got up and she handed June over. He walked to the other side where they had set up her changing pad.

"I'm sorry, we never intended…" Ron started.

She shook her head. "Like I said, I am over it. I simply wanted to explain why I was initially so upset about it." She sat down at the table to finish her food. "That's all."

Another silence fell, which was filled by Hermione. "What about you, Harry?"

"I was upset that Ginny was upset," he said without looking up from June. "I always have had her back, and I always will."

Ron laughed lightly. "That is the only reason I approve of you with my sister."

"The only reason?" Harry let out. "You insult me." He closed the nappy. "I think I bring a lot to the table actually." He closed the snaps on her romper. He sat down at the table with June in his arms. "Wit and charm and…" He caught Ginny's eyes and laughed. "Help me out here?"

"No, you're advocating for yourself so excellently. I wouldn't want to interrupt that." She glanced at June. "Back to bed with that one."

"Five more minutes?" Harry begged jokingly.

She shook her head. Harry kissed June on her head and handed her back over. Ginny walked down the corridor and into their room.

In the evening, they got to bed on time. June was sleeping soundly in the travel bed they had set up. Ginny joined Harry on the bed and leaned her head on his chest. His arm came around her.

"I think it's nice to be back here," Ginny said. "I really cherish our first moments as a couple."

"Me too." He looked over at June. "Our sweet girl has no clue what significance this room carries for us, for her ."

"This is the room where I said I loved you, the first time I ever told anyone that," she said quietly. "Not that you heard…"

She looked up to see his expression when a lonely tear escaped the corner of his eye and dropped down into his hair. She scooted up so her face was level with his. She lay nose to nose with him.

"Sometimes it doesn't feel real," he whispered, "that I get to love you this much."

She kissed him, her hand resting on her cheek. "Likewise, Harry."

She found his free and linked their pinkies together. He kissed her softly.

"Honestly I think we should have sex in here just for tradition's sake," Harry suggested.

She chuckled. "I would agree. Tomorrow we should be able to manage that. Remember those first few giddy days that we were just so excited to wake up together in each other's arms?"

"Still excited about that," he mumbled.

She chuckled. "I know."

Harry waited in the family changing cubicle. He was holding June in one arm and a towel in the other with a bag slung over his shoulder. He had put June into a bathing suit of her own, though he did not plan on going into the water with her for more than a few minutes.

Ginny tugged on her bathing suit. "I should not have opted for a bikini."

"It's fine," he told her.

"No, it isn't." She looked down at herself and sighed. "Maybe I'll just skip swimming."

He shook his head. "Come on, you'll be fine. You look great."

"You're supposed to think that, you're my boyfriend." She crossed her arms over her chest.

"Yeah," he said. "Gin. I would never let you go out if I thought you'd make a fool of yourself. I wouldn't let you go out with a smudge of mascara or your shirt inside out. If something was off I'd say so."

She bit her lip.

"And yeah you have stretch marks; because you had a baby. They are not ugly," he said. "And did you know 90% of people get stretch marks in their life? That's nearly everyone ever."

She eyed him.

"I love you, you look great." He bent down and kissed her cheek. "Your safeword is catapult. If you say that I will cause the biggest diversion you have ever seen and you can do whatever you need, but we are going to go out there."

"Fine." She sighed. "If my boobs leak…"

"Then you go into the water," he finished. "Now let's go before June pees through her swimming nappy, because then it'll look like I wet my pants probably."

She chuckled.

"Oh, so that's funny to you?"

"A little."

Ginny picked up a hair tie and put her hair up in a bun. She looked, objectively, great. He waited patiently as she picked up her towel and bag. She unlocked the door and he walked to a locker with her where they put one of the bags, taking the other with them.

The rest of the group was waiting for them after the entrance. They waved them over.

"Seamus already found a few good spots," Hermione said. "Come on."

Ginny kept by his side, her towel slung over her shoulder. He held out his hand and she took it. Everyone picked out a chair. Harry put June on his lap as he surveyed the pool.

"I'm going into the big pool first, who is with me?" Luna asked.

Harry looked at Ginny. "You can go, if you like. We can get June into the kiddie pool in a bit."

She looked toward the big pool and nodded. Cho joined Luna too. Ginny got up to join them. Cho eyed Ginny, and Harry very nearly stood up.

"Damn, Ginny. Did you even pop out that baby? You look amazing!" Cho said.

Ginny turned very red. "Shut up, let's get into the water." Her smile was unmistakable though.

Harry watched as they walked into the water. He could see her wide smile as she swam around with Cho and Luna. She shortly looked over and waved at him, and he returned it. Then she continued animatedly talking to Luna and Cho.

"Oi."

"Shush," Harry replied to Ron. "She was really nervous about coming out in a bikini today." He said it low enough so the rest didn't overhear. "I was just seeing if she's doing alright."

Ron shot him an incredulous look. "What's the verdict?"

"She's great."

Ginny returned fifteen minutes later, having found her confidence again. They walked to the warmer kid pool together, Ron in tow. Ginny carefully lowered her into the pool.

June splashed the water softly.

"I think she likes it," Harry said, watching both of them carefully.

Ginny sighed. "She's so precious. Look how curious she is!"

"She is pretty cute," Ron agreed. "Let me get a picture of you three for her first time swimming."

They posed, with June happily splashing the water. Then it was time to return to their seats and put June in dry clothes before she got too cold. Ginny handled that while Harry went off with Ron to do some of the slides.

It felt nice to be on vacation, and let the university work slip for a bit that they had been so focused on.
