He was falling. He didn't know where or why, but he could feel the familiar sensation as he awakened from unconsciousness. He could feel the air rush past him, the resistance of the air, the cold turning into warm. Then it was hot. It reminded him of battle. His eyes snapped open, he realised that he was falling through the atmosphere. The temperature around his body was quickly rising as his body descended. No wonder it was a familiar sensation, he had done this before. And just like those times before, he used his mastery of gravity sorcery to assist him in landing.

He was most likely to survive even if he didn't use his sorcery. He was still in his armor from what he can tell, and he is back to his full grown size. Gravity sorcery has very little in the way of defence. He could use some in a defensive manner, but it was never the purpose of the spell. Regardless, his use of gravity was to insure that he would land on solid ground. He learned from his mistake swiftly, not wishing to go deep into the water like his first attempt in his younger years.

And it was while plummeting did Radahn notice the unfamiliarity of the continent. It wasn't the Land Between, it was far too large and hosted a desert on one end. He didn't know much about the lands beyond the fog, only the place called the Badlands and the fact The First Elden Lord was banished to stay there. It is possible that the land he is falling towards is the Badlands. But it would be unbecoming of a demi-god to dismiss the possibility of this being a new continent altogether. That was an exciting thought.

Radahn wondered about this new place, about the challenges that await him. The prospect of having honorable fights once again got his blood flowing through his divine body. Which was swiftly dulled by his remembrance of his last fight and his unwilling role in his brother's plan. It reminded him of those he lost because of Miquella. His knights, His friends, Leonard. Radhan never got a chance to even mourn anyone. It was one thing after the next. The war, the Rot, Miquella. He will give them the respect they have earned once he impacts.

He is close to the earth now. The fire around him blinded most of his vision, yet he could see some form of civilisation. Towns and what may have been a city. But before he could process that information further, he crashed against the ground.

Trees were pushed from the dirt as Radahn formed a impact crater in the earth. It wasn't as large as it should be from something of his size, the diameter of the circle only being around 5 meters, with the trees around the hole remaining intact as well. Steam rises from the crater as the earth around him cools down. The forest around him devoid of life, they would have fled from the sound.

After a minute of waiting, Radahn pushes himself off from the floor. He turns back and looks up at the sky. The sky is bright as the sun just hits noon. Turning away from the sky, he steps out of the hole his impact made. It was around 6 meters deep, just up to his chest in height. Looking around, he sees nothing more than trees and shrubs.

Radahn wondered about his next course of action. He should go and find the people who live here, and he is still excited for any fights that might happen. But what about the after? Radahn enjoyed combat, but it isn't his only reason for living. He enjoyed the company of his men, of bonding with friends or just tending to Leonard. What would he do here?

Before he could think about that any further, he heard leaves shift behind. His hand shot out to grab the beast that lunged at him. He caught the animal in his grip, it being around the same size of his palm. And what a beast it was. In his grip it was crawling and biting. It wasn't doing much, its claws and teeth too small and not nearly sharp enough to sink past his glove. Beyond that, it looked odd. It was almost pitch black, with only a bone-like mask and some small bone sticking out of its body. It looked like a wolf as well, but its front legs were longer, chest wider than normal wolves. Its eyes glowed red, it looked crazed, mindless.

Radahn tightens his hold on the thing until he hears a crunch and the beast stops moving. He lets it fall from his hand and onto the dirt below. And there he sees it dissolve into nothing, leaving nothing behind except for a small amount of smoke.

'This land might come to be more dangerous than I had thought.' Radhan thought. He questioned if this odd wolf was common and if all wild life around here was as aggressive as it. He did not question his own strength, but the fact remains that he knew nothing of this land. The beast he had just slain could be the weakest thing here, Or the strongest. In such an unknown land,it was best to assume the creature to be weak and common .But it made one thing clear, he should most likely go and find the locals. They have survived on this land to the point where villages and towns have been made. They might be hostile towards him, Radahn being not from this land would be obvious, but it would be unwise to dismiss the locals completely. He best be fast however, while he still wears his armor from The Shattering, he is without his weapons. His sorcery should be sufficient to defend himself, at least until he regains fitting weapons.

But before Radahn could take a step, he heard the sound of leaves moving again. He turned around to see a pack of those black wolves enter the clearing. There were ten in front of him, nine behind one which stood taller than the others. The bones sticking out of it were bigger and sharper than the rest. Teeth and claws are more pointed as well, with it standing up on its hind legs looking up at Radahn. Looking into the leader's eyes, he saw that the beast wasn't as mindless as its kin. It was ready for a fight, but it is staring at Radahn, as if it was assessing how likely it would survive attacking him.

Radahn tensed, his muscles and sorcery primed for action against the wolves. The leader let out a short bark, and the rest of its pack rushed towards him as the leader stood there. Radahn moved, he lifted his arm up and in a back handed attack, sent 3 of the wolves flying through the clearing. Their bodies snapped on impact with his hand, and if that didn't kill them, the force their bodies carried into the trees would. Four of the beasts went towards his ankles, hoping to damage him through his armor, the other two went around for his back. Radahn raises his foot and stomps on two of them, crushing them instantly. One backs up before he could stomp it, but his other leg comes across and kicks the creature into the distance.

The two beasts that went to his back tried to jump onto his cape, and they were able to sink their claws into it, but barely. Radahn simply shook his cape for them to come off, where his two hands grabbed them mid fall and crushed them in his palms. The last one, aside from the leader, tried to go back for his ankles. He brought his fist down, still holding the wolf he crushed, and punched the beast into the ground.

The fight was a small one, too small to be really enjoyable, but it was enlightening. These wolves, at least in packs, could perform basic tactics. They would be a problem for even trained foot soldiers. Radahn turned back to the leader of the pack, staring at the beast with narrowed eyes. It was still there, but its poster lowered with all limbs on the ground. It was going to flee. It knew Radahn was strong, too strong to fight without a stronger pack.

The beast pivoted sharply on its legs and tried to run. Tried to, it didn't get far however, because not even after a step it was impacted by something falling from the sky. Dust and dirt is thrown into the air, obscuring the former leader and the object which caused it.

Radahn blinked, astonished at the possibility that a meteor would perfectly hit his fleeing foe. And as the dust settled and he had a clear view of the scene, his astonishment turned into shock that left his mouth slightly agape.

There in front of him was his Starscourge Greatswords, the same ones he had when Radahn conquered the Stars themselves.
