Chapter 1
A young man was enjoying downtime on a huge island in the ocean. He was relaxing on the beach, staying out of the way of the construction crews as they built the island. He was thinking about everything that had happened in the past, from what he did at initiation to now.
He came upon the island by accident. He was trying to get away from Grimm after it was revealed that his transcripts were fake. They weren't; people realized what they had done and wanted to apologize but
It was too late; Jaune was gone.
Ozpin, not thinking he was dead, sent people out to look for him. But he was still not found. He had found out that the island moved, and he could control where it would go. From legendary places to different times. When Summer Rose was about to be killed, Jaune rescued her and healed her. There were luxury apartments that were in the shape of pagodas. There was a huge hot spring on one side of the island and arenas on the other.
Stores in the middle of it. There were training areas there as well, and not one Grim could set one foot there. He toured the island, and he found an entire forest of fruit and vegetables. Then he found a cave that held one of the most powerful weapons ever: Nimueh, the Sword of Destruction.
When Jaune reached out to touch it, it transformed into a very beautiful woman with shoulder-length black hair and sky-blue eyes. She was also nude, "uh." Said Jaune as he turned his head away.
"What is it? You have awakened me, and now you turn your head?" She said. Jaune quickly turned back and looked in her eyes.
"No, no. It's just, I'm a gentleman; it's not right to see a woman in the nude; you're not her lover." He took off his hoodie and handed it to her. He was in a T-shirt. "I'm Jaune Arc. I was looking through this cave, just looking around. I didn't know that this was your cave. She looked at him and nodded.
"You have still awakened me; with that, you have become my consort." Jaune looked at her and nodded. She walked out with him, and they went to a huge manor.
(Arc Manor)
They walked into the manor. "Well. Welcome to Arc Manor," he said. She looked around and smiled.
"This is nice, very homey." She said it was huge. The living room itself could fit a ranch style house. It had a restaurant style kitchen and huge bedrooms. Since it was near the beach, they could enjoy the beach breezes.
"You can choose a room and relax there."
"Where is yours?" She asked.
"Second floor, last door on the right. Why?"
"I told you, I am to be your wife. Shouldn't I sleep with you?" Then she went upstairs and to his, now their room. Jaune just shook his head and started to sit down on the couch. Then he started to play some music. He laid back and relaxed, then she came back down. He looked over to her.
"You settling in alright?" He asked. She went over to him, sat on his lap, and kissed him. He blushed as red as he could be.
"I'm settling in fine, it's a nice place." She said.
"We can thank Ohm for this, he was the one who gave me the island."
"He set this up?" Jaune nodded.
"So, now that you're here, what would you like to do? We can get you a wardrobe." She nodded, and they went to the shopping area.
(Shopping area)
The area was huge, shops were everywhere. Stores that his friend, Coco, would have loved to be at and shop in. As promised, Jaune bought Nimueh a wardrobe. He explained that everyone who was living, working, and playing on the island were war rescues.
"War rescues?" She asked. Jaune nodded. He told her that he fought and protected others. That was how he gained loyalty from others. She had just met Jaune, and she was proud of him.
"So, that's what happened." He lowered his head. "I never told anyone this, but to save these people, I killed thousands." She stroked his hair.
"It was war, There are 2 rules in war: Rule #1: People die in war. Rule #2: You can't change Rule #1." She said one of the sales clerks looked at him.
"She's right," she said. She was very pretty, with light brown hair and grey eyes. Dressed in a cream colored dress and flats. "I'm just thankful you did what you did to save us." Jaune nodded. They continued to shop and went to eat some lunch.
The Island had continued to do what it needed to do and came upon an island on the outskirts of Europe. Jaune and Nimueh had relaxed and were having a clam bake with some friends when all of the sudden, Amazons had started to come on to the island to attack, but that was the biggest mistake they made., the majority on the people that were there were women and they were not only allied with Jaune but, they were Military trained.
"We claim this island for Themyscira!" Said one of the Amazons. "All males shall die!" Just then, a blade was sticking out of her chest. It was Nimueh!
"If you even think about killing my husband, I shall lay waste to you and your entire island!" She said the Amazons thought she was bluffing and attacked. They realized she wasn't and took them down. Then, a tall woman walked on the island in front of her; she had brown hair and blue eyes, and she was dressed in togas. She also had 'Final Boss' energy.
"What is going on here?" She demanded.
"My queen, we were trying to retrieve this island for you, but this 'woman' is denying us," said the Amazon. "She had killed Artemis!"
"She shouldn't have attacked us." Said Nimueh, as she removed her bladed hand out of Artemis. "I am Nimueh, the Sword of Destruction. The proud wife of a war hero and co-ruler of this island."
"I am Jaune Arc, war hero and spouse of the Sword of Destruction." He said, "I take it you're the Queen of these Amazons?"
"Yes, I am Hippolyta." She said, "I apologize for my actions." Nimueh and Jaune looked at her.
"Why are you apologizing?" He asked, " I mean, yeah, sure, you are their leader but I don't see you giving the order to try and take my island."
"My husband is correct; we cannot hold you accountable unless you gave the order." She said, Hippolyta nodded.
"I did not give the order." She said the three looked at the Amazons, and they looked down. "I shall take responsibility by surrendering myself to you." Jaune looked at her in shock.
"Could you give us a minute?" He asked.
"Of course," she said. Jaune and Nimueh talked about what they were going to do, and they decided to accept Hippolyta's offer.
"Alright, we have decided to take you up on your offer." Said Jaune.
"We cannot hate on everyone here." Said Nimueh, "my husband is not the type to 'paint everyone with the same brush' as you mortals say." (Even though I know Hippolyta wouldn't say that. -ed.) Hippolyta nodded. Just then, a black woman stepped up to them.
"My Queen, I would like to go with you as a guard." She said she was 5 foot 10, had shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes. She was dressed in basic, Amazon armor and was armed with a spear and shield. Jaune looked at Hippolyta.
"She can come if you want her." Hippolyta nodded.
"Now, someone tell Diana what has happened and that I am fine." She said, "She does not need to declare war for me."
"Yes, My Queen!" Said the Amazons. With that, they left the island, and the island had taken off. Then Hippolyta and the Black Amazon, who they found out was named 'Nubia,' followed them to a living area. They were talking to each other.
"So, will this be a vacation for you, Your Highness?" Asked Jaune.
"I hope so; I haven't had one in over 300 years." She said.
"Oh my, you don't look a day over 30, Hippolyta." Said Nimueh.
"Neither do you, Nimueh."
Jaune chuckled, leading Hippolyta and Nubia through the bustling heart of his mobile island. "Well, consider this the most unique vacation spot you'll ever find. We've got everything from luxury spas to combat training grounds...and a rather impressive orchard, if you're into fresh fruit."
Hippolyta, her regal bearing somewhat softened by genuine curiosity, surveyed the eclectic mix of structures. Pagodas stood beside modern apartments, and a bustling marketplace throbbed with the energy of countless cultures. "It is...unexpected. I had envisioned something far less...diverse."
"That's because this island is made up of people and things from all over the world," Jaune explained, gesturing to a group of children playing a game that seemed to combine soccer with some form of aerial acrobatics. "Everyone here has their own story, their own reasons for being here."
Nubia, ever the watchful warrior, scanned the surroundings with a discerning eye. She noted the relaxed postures of the island's inhabitants, the absence of weapons, and the general atmosphere of peace. "And you protect them, Jaune Arc?"
"I try my best," he admitted, a hint of weariness creeping into his voice. "I can't be everywhere at once, but I've built a network of people I trust. They're the real heroes."
Nimueh, who had been silently observing the interaction, stepped forward, placing a hand on Jaune's arm. "He is too humble. Jaune has saved countless lives and offered sanctuary to those who had none." She gave Hippolyta a knowing look. "You will find that loyalty runs deep on this island."
Hippolyta nodded, her gaze softening. "I can see that. It is...admirable."
They continued their tour, passing by the hot springs, where people of all ages were relaxing in the steaming waters, and the various training grounds, where martial arts masters demonstrated their skills and sparred with eager students. Jaune pointed out the medical facilities, staffed by skilled healers who treated any injury, no matter how severe.
As they paused near a colorful stall selling exotic fruits, Hippolyta stopped. "Tell me, Jaune, what motivates you to do all this? Why dedicate your life to protecting these people?"
Jaune sighed, a flicker of pain crossing his face. "I used to believe in something...bigger than myself. In heroes, in institutions, in doing what's 'right'." He paused, his voice dropping. "But those beliefs were shattered. I realized that the world isn't black and white, and that even the people you trust the most can let you down."
He looked out at the bustling marketplace, his eyes filled with a mixture of hope and determination. "So now I focus on what I can control. I protect the people I can. I offer them a safe haven, a chance to rebuild their lives. And I try to make a difference, one person at a time."
Nimueh squeezed his hand. "He has a good heart, Hippolyta. That is why he is worthy of leading this island."
Hippolyta considered his words, her expression thoughtful. "Perhaps...perhaps there is still hope for this world after all."
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the island, Jaune led Hippolyta and Nubia to a lavishly decorated dining hall. A feast had been prepared in their honor, with dishes from every corner of the globe.
"This is...quite extravagant," Hippolyta remarked, eyeing the overflowing tables.
"We like to celebrate life here," Jaune said with a smile. "After all, we've all been given a second chance. We might as well make the most of it."
As the evening wore on, Jaune, Nimueh, Hippolyta, and Nubia talked and laughed, sharing stories and getting to know each other better. Hippolyta was surprised by Jaune's genuine warmth and his unwavering commitment to his people. Nubia, ever vigilant, observed the island's defenses and the loyalty that Jaune inspired.
Later that night, as he prepared for bed, Jaune found himself reflecting on the day's events. He had never expected to host the Queen of the Amazons on his island, let alone form some kind of alliance with her. But life, as he had learned, was full of surprises.
He glanced at the sleeping form of Nimueh, her dark hair spread across the pillow. He had found love in the most unexpected place, with a woman who was both powerful and compassionate.
He smiled, a sense of contentment washing over him. He may have lost his way in the world, but he had found a new purpose, a new family, on this strange and wonderful island. And he was ready to face whatever the future held, with Nimueh by his side.
The next morning dawned bright and clear, painting the mobile island in hues of gold and rose. Jaune, already up and overseeing the morning routines, found Hippolyta and Nubia waiting for him on a balcony overlooking the sprawling settlement.
"Ready for another day of surprises?" Jaune asked, a playful glint in his eyes.
Hippolyta inclined her head. "Indeed. I am curious to see what more this unique place holds."
After breakfast, which consisted of a bewildering array of pastries, fruits, and unfamiliar delicacies, Jaune proposed a visit to the combat training grounds. Nubia's eyes lit up; it was clear where her interests lay.
The training grounds were a hive of activity. Humans, Faunus, and beings from other dimensions sparred, practiced forms, and honed their skills. Jaune explained, "We encourage everyone to learn self-defense, not just for their own safety but to protect each other. We have masters of every discipline imaginable from around the world, all volunteering their time."
Nubia watched a graceful, fox-eared Faunus swiftly disarm a heavily armored swordsman, then saw a hulking brute of a man, who looked like he'd stepped out of a Viking saga, teaching a class of children the basics of hand-to-hand combat. "Impressive," she conceded. "This is more than just a haven; it is a forge."
Jaune grinned. "We try to be. We want our people to be strong, not just in body, but in mind and spirit as well."
He then turned to Hippolyta, "Perhaps you would like a demonstration?"
Before Hippolyta could answer, Nubia stepped forward, her shield gleaming in the sunlight. "I would test these 'masters' myself."
Jaune chuckled, "I figured as much. Let me introduce you to our best duelist… a certain swordsman from Mistral who goes by the name 'Kaito' . He'll be a worthy opponent."
The duel was a spectacle. Kaito, nimble and precise, danced around Nubia's powerful blows. Nubia, unfazed by his speed, used her shield with calculated force, deflecting his attacks and slowly pushing him back. The crowd cheered, captivated by the clash of skill and strength. Eventually, Nubia, with a well-timed feint, disarmed Kaito, ending the match with a friendly tap on his helmet.
Later, as they walked away from the training grounds, Nubia's earlier wariness had noticeably diminished. She had found respect for the people of the island and for Jaune, their protector.
That afternoon, Hippolyta expressed a desire to visit the orchard Jaune had mentioned. It was a sprawling expanse of fruit trees, laden with species from every climate imaginable. Tiny hummingbirds buzzed amongst the blossoms, and the air was thick with the sweet scent of ripening fruit.
As they strolled through the orchard, Hippolyta plucked a strange, star-shaped fruit from a low-hanging branch. "What is this?"
"A Star Fruit," Jaune replied. "It's native to Southeast Asia. We have people here from all over the world, and they brought seeds and cuttings from their homelands. It's a living library of plant life."
Sitting down beneath the shade of a broad-leaved tree, Hippolyta ate the Star Fruit thoughtfully. "You have created a sanctuary, Jaune. A place where people, cultures, and even plant life can thrive without fear."
"That's the hope," Jaune said, looking out at the diverse landscape. "It's not always easy. There are conflicts, disagreements, and outside threats. But we face them together."
As the sun began to set, painting the sky in vibrant colors, Jaune received a message. His face tightened. "There's been a situation on the western edge of the island. A group of bandits is trying to raid a small settlement."
He turned to Hippolyta and Nubia. "I have to go. This is the reality of life here. Even a paradise needs defending."
Hippolyta stood, her regal bearing returning. "We will accompany you."
Jaune hesitated. "This could be dangerous."
"We are warriors, Jaune Arc," Nubia stated firmly. "We do not stand idly by when innocents are threatened."
Jaune smiled, grateful for their support. "Then let's go. It's time to show these bandits that this island is not an easy target." With a newly found alliance by his side, Jaune headed towards danger, ready to defend the unique sanctuary he had forged. The peace of his mobile island, he knew, was a constant fight worth fighting for.
