Well, the next one is much longer xD

"I'm gonna take good care of you," Amity husked, pinning her fiancée forcefully to the wall.
Luz gasped as the air left her lungs from the impact. She smiled giddily, pulling the witch into a desperate, needy, fervent kiss. They felt the arousal aching in their loins, begging to take care of it.
"Mmm, Baby?" Luz pulled away, interrupting their kiss. The witch looked at her fiancée questioningly, impatiently glancing at her full lips, "As much as I want to continue, you took me by surprise," The human said sheepishly, slightly blushing with embarrassment. "Would you mind if I refresh myself real quick?" She asked, earning a small giggle from the other woman.
"Of course, Luz," Amity said, smiling at the human, "Just don't keep me waiting too long," She whispered heartedly, nibbling the tan neck playfully.
"Um– Hah!" Luz exclaimed, closing her eyes in pleasure, "I-I'll open the doors when I'm ready for you to join me," She said huskily.
"Then hurry up," Amity purred, leaving a long lick on her fiancée's neck, "Before I will refresh you my way," She added.
Luz darted to the bathroom, not trusting herself to resist the witch anymore. Amity giggled at her fiancée antics, biting her lip, knowing what was coming. The pulsating ache between her legs was unbearable.
"Just give her a moment," Amity thought, releasing a deep breath, "Distract yourself!" The witch quickly jumped toward the bed, removing the quilt and fluffing up the pillows.
"Oh, Titan! This is happening!" Luz thought giddily, rushing to take her clothes off her body.
Back in the main room, the witch heard how the shower water started running, and it did not take long before the bathroom door creaked open. The pointy ears fluttered, and the Heiress sneaked inside.
Amity had to hold her breath momentarily when she saw Luz's figure. The shower poured water over the tan body, which was marked by multiple scars. The long and wide memento of the sternosteonomy, the entry point of the sword, the whip markings, and scorched off initial Bonding bite, alongside multiple older wounds.
"Sheʼs perfect," The Heiress thought, eyeing the human hungrily.
"Youʼre staring, Baby," Luz husked with amusement, turning around, presenting her back, looking at the witch over her shoulder, ogling the Heiress cockily.
"I can't help myself," Amity purred, biting her lower lip, "Youʼre–" She paused, seeing how the human turned around again, sensually touching her breasts, arching toward the waterstream, "Fuck," The witch gasped.
Amity began to undress herself in a hurry, almost tearing her clothes, completely forgetting she could have used a spell. It did not matter. Seeing the witch's desperation only fueled Luz's arousal.
The tan hands rolled her pebbled nipples, eliciting a soft moan from her throat. Amity entered the shower, grabbing her fiancée's hands, taking over for her, and continuing her ministrations. Luz arched toward the touch, biting her lip and stifling a moan.
"Don't keep it in," Amity whispered heatedly, sucking in the Bond mark, "I want to hear you," She added, suddenly feeling a warm hand cupping her face.
"Come here," The human whispered airily, pulling the Heiress into the heated, violent kiss.
Their lips crashed, bruising in desperate action. Luz turned them around, pinning the witch against the shower tiled wall, shielding Amity from the direct water stream. They momentarily pulled away. The human smirked, seeing her fiancée's rapid breathing.
"Looks like you need something," Luz husked, trailing her fingers toward the pointy ears.
"Oh, fuck–! Luz!" Amity closed her eyes and howled in delight.
"Oh, how I missed hearing you," Luz whimpered, feeling the Heiress's pleasure. She moved her fingers to the back of the ear, and Amity trembled in her hold, moaning in delight, "Did you miss my touch?" She asked, nibbling the scarred, pale neck. The witch only nodded rapidly, "You can tell me, Baby–"
"I missed it– Ah!" Amity exclaimed, pulling the human closer, "L-Luz, I-I can't," She gasped, worrying her fiancée.
"Titan, sorry–!" Luz gulped, pulling away, afraid she crossed a line.
"I can't stand anymore," Amity interrupted, "Take me to bed," She said desperately, "Now," She urged. The human grinned, showing off her white-gold fang.
"Come here," Luz pulled the witch to straddle her hips.
Amity turned off the water and busied herself with her fiancée's neck. She ignored how the human wobbled, carrying her to the main room. Instead, she scratched the brunette's scalp and back, licking and nibbling her neck and ears, desperate to feel the warmer body. The sudden fall onto the mattress shocked her.
"Better?" Luz asked playfully. The witch nodded rapidly, not trusting herself to speak, "Now, where was I?" The human asked, moistening her lips slightly as she took in the sight of the blown wide pupils in the golden eyes, "Ah, yes," She teased, lowering herself to the pointy ears.
"Oh, Titan," Amity breathed out. Her body stiffened when the full, warm lips met her lobule, "Yes, Luz," She rambled, closing her eyes and turning her head to the side.
"Do you think I can make you come like this?" The human teased, switching sides. Amity moaned loudly, bucking her hips, slanting her ears submissively, "I will definitely try," Luz whispered, unable to help herself.
She pawed the witch's thigh with one hand, busying another with her breast, simultaneously sucking and nibbling on the ears. The Heiress's howls of delight were like the most magical song, praising the human's name.
"Luz!" Amity exclaimed, pulling away from the touch, "I need you," She whimpered desperately, spreading her legs further.
"I'm right here," Luz assured, slightly slowing down.
"N-no," Amity heaved, shaking her head. She forcefully turned them around, and the human grinned mischievously, "I need you, need you," The witch husked, lowering herself to capture pebbled, dark nipples, "And I need you now," She added, delicately biting the tan neck.
"Then take me," Luz moaned, bucking her hips impatiently, "Take me however you please!" She exclaimed, feeling the fangs in her neck, "Iʼm all yours," She added, and the witch pulled away.
"Mine," Amity growled animalistically, her pupils dilating further and ears slanting. The human swallowed hard, seeing how her fiancée eyed her possessively, "All mine," The witch repeated, her voice softening, her hands traveling to the tan hips and further south.
"All yours," Luz breathed out, agreeing, spreading her legs for her fiancée, "Titan," She gasped when Amity's thumbs massaged the human's groin, slightly spreading her already-wet lips.
"So pretty," The Heiress growled hungrily, "So drenched for me," She inhaled the aroma of arousal, rubbing another circle, closing in on her target.
"Titan, Amity," Luz moaned, bucking her hips impatiently, "Please," She begged as every circle of the pale thumbs brought currents of electrifying pleasure.
"What do you want, Luz?" Amity husked, inching closer to the human's clit.
"Titan, take me– Ah! Fuck!" Luz howled, closing her eyes and arching her back as the witch circled again, barely missing her clit.
"Tell me–" Amity forcefully pushed the tan hips, pinning them to the mattress, shocking her fiancée with the sudden action, "What do you want?" She asked sternly.
Luz's breathing hitched when she opened her eyes. She bit her lower lip, seeing Amity's stern yet playful expression. The witch's pale complexion contrasted with the darkened-from-desire orbs in the most heated and primal way. The human knew what she wanted.
"I want you to take me," Luz whispered heatedly, trying to buck her hips against Amity's hold, "I want you to fill me and fuck me until I'm sore," She said, seeing how her words affected her fiancée. She lifted herself to kiss the pale neck.
"I want you to bite me, lick me, suck me until there is no unmarked part of me while you screw me so hard I won't be able to walk," Luz continued the heated gasps into the pointy ear, feeling how it affected the witch, "I want to come screaming you name, I want to– Ah!"
Amity suddenly pushed Luz to her back, unable to take the teasing anymore. She drew the fuchsia spell circle, and the abomination slime appeared between the witch's thighs, forming, elongating, and hardening in the way both women loved. The human immediately delicately grabbed the appendage.
"Ah, fuck!" Amity gasped in disbelief, "I forgot– Ah!" She stumbled on her words, "How intense it feels," She said.
"I want to feel it too," Luz whispered, pulling the witch, guiding her fiancée's new appendage into her wet and heated center, "Oh, Titan," Luz gasped upon the intrusion.
The tight walls immediately clenched on the witch's newly formed extension, leaving both of them speechless. The human held her breath, slowly releasing it in relief – she waited so long to feel the love of her life inside her again.
"L-Luz," Amity clenched her eyes shut, "Ah–! Mmm," She trembled, feeling the warmth enveloping her.
Luz could not look away from her fiancée. She glanced downwards and her walls clenched in excitement, seeing how the witch slowly filled her. Amity shot her eyes open, and her jaw fell as another squeeze on her sinking appendage shocked her.
"You feel so good," Amity whispered when she finally bottomed, kissing the human's cheek.
"M-move," Luz husked, needing to quench her thirst.
Amity lifted herself slightly on her elbows before slowly retracting from the warm depths. Luz's tight walls tried to keep her in, applying delectable force. Their eyes met before they connected in a hungry kiss.
Luz pulled her fiancée's head closer, entering the witch's mouth, and massaging the tongue with her own. Within moments, Amity forgot she wanted to be careful and gentle. Her hips began to move on their own volition, incrementally increasing the speed and force.
"Ah! Yes!" Luz moaned, breaking the kiss and throwing her head back.
"Titan, Luz! Ah!" Amity mewled in a higher pitch, lowering her head to the tan neck, biting it delicately, "Youʼre so good! So good!" She rambled, pounding the human into the mattress.
"Ah-Amity!" Luz turned her head to the side, giving the witch more space, "Fuck! Don't stop!" She exclaimed, tying her legs on her fiancée's back, pulling her lover with her heels.
"L-Luz!" Amity moaned in a high pitch, releasing a gust of aura, "I c-c-can't–!"
"Don't hold back!" Luz roared, arching her back.
The tan fingers dug into the pale back. Their muscles tensed, and Amity pulled back. Their eyes connected in shock and disbelief. The pink lips twitched in a faint smile when the hazel-brown orbs turned black-gold. It was supposed to be just the beginning of their night, but their bodies had other plans.
After months of separation, interrupted sessions, and accidental caresses, all they needed was a few moments to start trembling at the brink of the edge. Luz could only take how the witch ferally pounded her into the bed, filling her in, rushing them toward the edge.
"Ah-Luz! Titan, you're so tight!" Amity howled, increasing her pace. She could not stop.
The witch parted her lips, moaning wildly, snarling, and smiling in shock and delight. Her nails lengthened as she tightened her grip on the bedding, increasing her pace further, feeling the climax right around the corner. She needed it. It had been too long.
"Yes! Take me! Take me! Harder! Faster!" Luz rambled, not really knowing what she had said at all.
The tan hips moved wildly, meeting Amityʼs every move with an obscene slapping sound. Their moans crescendoed, eyes shot open, and suddenly the tight coil inside them snapped. The pointy ears fluttered before tightly hugging the lavender head. Their lips parted, howling in delight, and their auras connected in a reddish whirlwind of ecstasy.
They did not know if they were blinded by their magic or the intensity of their climax. Neither cared when the sharp tremors shook them. Their cores pulsated as they reveled in the sensation of the first orgasm in months.
Amity slowed her movements, and a small laugh escaped her lips. Luz returned the sentiment, giggling giddily, and she pulled the witch into a sloppy kiss. Her hands traveled down, finding the pink nipples, giving them some attention, eliciting a soft moan.
"Luz?" Amity asked confusedly.
"More," Luz husked needily, massaging her fiancée's body until the witch gave in.
"Turn around," Amity growled breathlessly, smirking confidently.
The human only grinned. She knew what her fiancée had in mind, and she hoped it would come to that. The witch quickly retracted herself from the tight depth, and Luz promptly positioned herself on all fours.
"How do you want me?" Amity whispered, lowering herself to the round ear, nibbling it slightly.
"Titan," Luz moaned at the sensation, exposing herself to the witch, "Take me however you please," She said in a higher pitch, "Iʼm all yours– Ah!" She gasped, feeling the witch teasing her opening.
"Are you sure?" Amity purred, nibbling the tan neck and rubbing her sensitive extension at the impatiently tightening opening.
"Titan, Amity," Luz bucked her hips backwards, trying to her her fiancée to slip inside, "Please," She became more frantic in her attempts, "Fuck me, Baby," She continued.
Suddenly, Amity held her hips immobile.
"So desperate for me," The witch husked. Luz froze, exhaling shakily.
"Oh, no you didn't," The human whispered airily, trying to look at her fiancée.
"Oh? Aren't you desperate to have me inside you?" Amity asked, teasing the round earlobe.
"Ah, fuck," The human gasped, loving when the Heiress became this persona in bed.
"Tell me," Amity ordered, pulling her fiancée's face to look at her. The hazel-brown eyes were hazy with lust.
"I'm so very much desperate for you," Luz moaned, caving in, "You love it when I admit that," She trembled, feeling the witch's hands on her chest.
"Just like you love it when I fuck you," Amity admitted.
The Heiress finally slipped in.
"HAH! Yes! Yes, yes, yes, Amity–!" Luz howled in delight as the Heiress did not give her any time to adjust to the new sensation.
Not that the human needed it. The tan hips cooperated with Amity's strong grip, helping the witch find the sweetest spots. The golden eyes ogled the scratched back hungrily, loving the view of the thin waist that widened into the hips, which would wear bruises come tomorrow.
"Amity!" Luz moaned wantonly, dragging her fiancée from her thoughts, balling the bedding in a powerful grip.
"Come here," Amity pulled the human up.
"Oh, Titan!" Luz exclaimed in delight, clenching tightly on the hard extension.
The witch sat on her heels, guiding her fiancée to sit on her lap. Her hands sneaked around the tan body, finding the perky breast and drenched clit. Luz almost screamed at the sudden stimulation. She turned her head, sloppily kissing Amity, and sneaking her hand to the lavender head, finding the pointy ear.
"Oh, Luz! Yes! Yes! AH–!" The witch moaned as the torrents of pleasure took over her body.
"Almost–!" Luz exclaimed, feeling the tightening of her abdomen.
Amity increased the pace on the human's clit, helping the woman up and down off her lap. Luz's tightening walls pulled the witch toward the edge faster than she anticipated. The Heiress could only moan and mumble praise incomprehensibly.
Luz's ear caresses never wavered. Their Bond increased their pleasure as they never felt more connected than in each other's embrace, rushing together toward another climax. It was too much.
"YES! AH!" Luz screamed, falling forward to her hands, arching her back to expose her entrance. The witch did not stop her ministrations, pounding hard into her future wife, "AH-AMI–! FUCK–!"
Several more circles on her clit, another few pounds on that sweet spot, and a semi-delicate bite on the nape of the human's neck was all Luz needed. She clenched hard on the witchʼs abomination-made member, and Amity saw a blinding light. Her climax took her by surprise.
"L-LUZ–! FU–! HAH–!" The witch shook deliriously, forcing herself through to ensure Luz could fully ride out her orgasm.
"DON'T STOP–!" Luz screamed distortedly, throwing her head back.
The demon's magic left the human's body violently. Amity noticed how the tan hands, clenching the bedding, gained sharp talons, and how the round ears lengthened for the first time since their Bond.
"ANOTHER–!" Luz screeched, suddenly falling to the bed, keeping her rear in the air, shaking deliriously.
Amity could not disappoint her future wife. She continued, soldiering through the overstimulation. It did not take long for the human to come for the third and last time that night, a few pounds as most. The moment that Luz fell flat onto the bed, the witch felt an overwhelming exhaustion and relief.
"Woah," Amity gasped, giggling as she rolled aside, ending on her back. She could feel the sweat roll off her body, but she could not care less.
The abomination disappeared, and the witch continued to breathe heavily, grinning happily and looking at her fiancée with love, watching the blissful expression, waiting for the human to calm down. Luz finally opened her eyes, and the witch noticed the black-gold eyes fading to hazel-brown.
"Hi," The human whispered tiredly, smirking playfully, breathing in exercise.
Amity's gaze travelled to the full lips, where she saw the demonic fangs retract as the human regained her natural appearance after slightly losing herself in the act. It was just as worrying as it was complimenting the Heiress's skills.
"One of these days," Amity whispered under her breath, "We have to take you to the Healing Coven to understand how Strigi affects you," She said. Her fiancée only smirked.
"They just said a similar thing," Luz giggled, "But how you affect them," She explained, slithering closer to peck the witch's cheek.
"Dorks," Amity giggled, "Both of you," She said, pulling Luz into an embrace. The human snuggled into the warm hug, placing her hand on one of the breasts, earning a small giggle from the Heiress, "You just have to sleep with a boob-full hand," She joked.
"I missed them," Luz joked, rubbing her thumb across the pebbled nipple.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, Luz," Amity shuddered, "I'm beat, have mercy," She giggled.
Luz looked up at her future wife with a love-filled gaze. They may have been from two different species, but their hearts beat with the same rhythm. They shared a delicate, chaste kiss before snuggling together under a blanket, almost immediately falling asleep.
The morning surprised Luz and Amity when their room service knocked at their door, waking them up. The witch groaned and turned to the other side, trying to ignore the need to use the bathroom.
Bang, bang, bang!
"Fine, I'll get it," Luz groaned.
She grabbed a bathrobe to cover herself and pulled the food trolley inside, stopping it by the small table before plopping face down to bed again. In the meantime, Amity used the bathroom and returned to bed to snuggle with her fiancée.
"Tired?" Amity asked with a wide smile, caressing the soft, brunette locks.
"Exhausted," Luz admitted. She turned her head to face Amity. The witch grinned mischievously, "Someone's proud of herself," She joked.
"I can't help it," Amity purred, kissing the tan forehead, "I've been waiting long months to have you like this again," She added, slightly nibbling the full lips.
"Youʼre insatiable," Luz chuckled. Yet, she returned the kiss just as eagerly.
"Can you blame me?" Amity scooted closer, pulling the tan body, "Youʼre insanely hot," She added, resuming the kiss.
"Come on, Baby," Luz paused, "The food is getting cold," She said.
"You look quite hot to me," Amity joked. She did not expect the human to burst out laughing.
"Titan, that was bad," Luz giggled, "I love you so much," She added, placing a chaste kiss on the pink lips.
Amity's ears twitched. She smiled into the affection before pulling away. They smiled at each other, caressing their faces, enjoying the serene moment. What could make this day any better?
"Do you want to check out that beach venue we passed on the way here?" Amity asked, taking her fiancée by surprise.
"W-what?" Luz stuttered, "Thatʼs gotta be way out of our price range," She said, realizing they hadn't really talked about it, "Wait, what IS our price range?" She asked confusedly. Amity giggled.
"I'm not putting a price on the most important day of our lives… So far, of course," The witch said coyly, removing herself from the bed.
Luz gawked, seeing the pale body illuminated by the morning sun. The scars cast tiny shadows on her, making her look like an eerie goddess. Amity put on the bathrobe and set the table, removing the food trolley from the room before Luz felt uncomfortable.
"Let's just agree that we're splitting the cost of the wedding," The human said as she ate her meal.
"Sure," Amity smirked, "I understand you don't want to start marriage feeling indebted, but keep in mind that there's no price tag on how you changed my life for the better," She said softly.
"Amity," Luz grabbed the petite hand, "All I did was fall for this amazing witch, who risked everything by opening her heart, and letting me in–" She paused, making Amity nervous, "Oh, that's good. Gotta write that down for our vows," She added. The Heiress laughed at her fiancée's antics.
"Dork," The witch chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief.
They finished their meal and cleared their room before heading out. After the night they had and the bright future ahead, they were filled with optimism, not thinking about anything bad that had happened to them.
How glad they were that they took a stroll by the beach the previous day. The chance to find the venue Amity had in mind was pure luck. The low, wide bungalow was adorned by trees, offering protection from the sun and the hot Boiling Breeze.
A narrow hardwood path was protected from the event of the Boiling Rain by a breezeway, leading toward the entrance, ending in wide, wooden double doors with richly decorated handles. The human rushed in, dragging the Heiress behind her.
"Titan, Amity," Luz gasped, covering her lips in awe, "It's even more beautiful on the inside!" She said with glee.
The hazel-brown eyes shone with delight, rushing from rustic lamps to paintings, and from windows to carpets. It was a strange combination of style, but the human loved it. It was a perfect representation of their personalities.
"Thatʼs usually the case," The witch chuckled, loving her fiancée's reaction.
Amity grabbed Luz's hand and dragged her further in with a childlike enthusiasm. The human giggled, loving to see her fiancée so carefree, cheerful, and full of glee. The pointy ears perked up, and the pink lips presented fangs in the broadest smile.
"Good afternoon," A sudden feminine voice startled them, making Luz squeak in surprise.
"Woah, you're sneaky!" The human chuckled in embarrassment, scratching the nape of her neck nervously. Amity shook her head in amusement, smirking at Luz's antics.
"Titan, sorry for scaring you," The short, chubby woman with a bright smile apologized. She wore a dark turquoise robe and gold sandals, "Iʼm Ruby, the manager of this place. You must be Miss Blight, I presume?" She asked, raising her brow in question. The young couple stiffened.
"Um, yes," Amity confirmed anxiously, "How do you know?" She asked suspiciously, not trusting the woman.
"I read newspapers, Miss Blight," Ruby explained, her bright smile never wavering, "That's how I know you are engaged to Miss Clawthorne," She added, facing Luz. The human blushed brightly at the attention.
"We made quite a mezalianie," Luz agreed, chuckling nervously.
"There haven't been a human-witch wedding in at least four hundred years as far as we keep track," Ruby agreed and gestured to follow her.
The young couple shared a glance before following the short woman. The manager gave them the tour. With each room they visited, they grew to love the venue more. At the very end, they made it to the ballroom with direct access to the beach, overlooking the west coast of the Fallen Titan.
"¡Ay, qué lindo!" Luz exclaimed with delight.
Amity's ears slanted in awe. Her golden eyes shone with excitement and disbelief. She did not care how much this venue would cost. This was the view she wanted to marry her fiancée at.
"We offer the wedding cake preparation, too," Ruby's voice dragged Amity from her stupor, "You must try the flavors we offer," She added, presenting the platter where five pieces of cake awaited, "They are to die for–"
"Oooh, sugar!" Luz exclaimed, happy for a dessert.
Amity squinted, not trusting the food. Her internal alarms were going off. Ruby was too cheerful for the Heiress's liking. Her behavior reminded the Heiress of her mother whenever she needed something. Yet, she could not voice her objections fast enough.
"Titan, that's so good!" Luz exclaimed, stuffing her face with another piece of cake.
"Luz, wait," Amity said. Her stern voice shocked the human, "When did you bake these cakes?" The Heiress addressed the manager, "I know the degustation should be scheduled," She explained. Suddenly, Ruby's cheerful expression faded, and Luz gulped nervously.
"They warned me you're too smart," The manager growled. Her entire aura became malicious and bitter.
"Who warned you?" Amity barked.
Luz cleaned her face, and she could feel her heart rate increase. A silent hoot in her head tried to reason with her and help her remain calm. The human's gaze became blurry. She shook her head frantically and did not realize how she had stepped away from her fiancée.
"Ami–?" Luz mumbled. Her voice got the Heiress's attention, "Som's wron–" She gasped.
"Luz!" Amity exclaimed.
The hazel-brown eyes rolled up, and the human dropped unconscious to the floor with a thud. Amity was beside her fiancée in the blink of an eye, cupping her face. A relief washed over the witch when she noticed Luz was still breathing.
"Perfect," Ruby whispered with satisfaction.
"What the hell!?" Amity roared, barely controlling her fury. Her eyes lit up with a fuchsia glow as her breathing quickened.
"You always complicate everything," A masculine voice said behind Amity.
The Heiress immediately turned around. She looked up and her ears slanted when she noticed Harvey six feet before her. She could not ask what he was about to do with them when a sudden hit at the back of her head knocked her out.
"Night, night… Princess…" Harvey whispered as Amity blinked rapidly, fighting to stay conscious.
The Heiress lay on her back, slowly fading to black as the two witches stood above her. In her last sober thought, Amity pulled Luz closer, wanting to be there for her fiancée if that were to be her last minutes alive.
"So what now?" Ruby asked once the Heiress blacked out.
"Now?" Harvey grinned, "I have to check if my morning package was delivered," He said, giggling as he headed toward the Latissa harbour, "Meet me at the boat in an hour," He added before leaving the building.
Ruby sighed, knowing she was left with the clean-up duty. She looked at the Heiress, unknowingly clenching the gluttonous human close. The witch was jealous. She wished she had this kind of love.
Luz blinked rapidly. She winced as the massive headache paralyzed her. Everything was blurry. She slowly regained the feeling of her body, immediately realizing she could not move. A feeling of cold metal on her body alerted her, letting her know she was held vertically.
"What the–?" Luz groaned, trying to focus her sight.
The hazel-brown gaze traveled downward. The human noticed her torso, arms, thighs, and legs cuffed to the vertical table. A metal collar on her neck hurt her, weighing her down, while a strange mask covered her face.
A new sound reached the round ears, alerting the human – the doors creaked open. Steps echoed in the room, and a young, short witch with black hair and bright blue eyes stopped before Luz.
"Ah! Good to see you awake, human," The newcomer greeted the prisoner with a small smirk.
"What the hell do you want?" Luz growled distortedly. She tried to see who was facing her, but everything was too blurry and out of focus.
"Up-pup-pup," The person hushed Luz, "Don't get too frustrated, human," The witch approached the human, grabbing the heavy collar and pulling it slightly, "Try to change, and this bad boy will end your pathetic life," She hissed in a warning.
"Who are you?" Luz asked, blinking rapidly and squinting in an attempt to focus her gaze.
"The drugs must have hit you hard," The woman replied, seeing that Luz was not faking. The hazel-brown eyes stared right through her, "Iʼm Harvey's sister, but I see you won't be able to notice the resemblance."
"Whereʼs my fiancée?" Luz asked impatiently, her eyes roaming blindly around the room.
"You should definitely worry about your skin," The captor replied.
"Youʼre about to kill me, aren't you?" Luz asked, hoping to hide her fear.
"Me? Oh, no, no, no, human," The woman chuckled, "We're merely transporting you to people who want to end the deal," She explained.
"What people!?" Luz growled, and an angry screech followed.
"Why, Titan Trappers, of course," Harvey's sister said matter-of-factly. Luz growled ferally, pulling on her restraints, "If you want to make it in one piece, you better take a deep breath," She added.
Luz blinked rapidly, and despite the blurriness of her sight, she recognized long spikes on her collar and her chest cuff. Transforming would not end well. Suddenly, a firm hold on her chin dragged her out of stupor.
"Shh, shh, human," Harvey's sister hushed, "I need you to drink this now," She opened a mouth piece of Luz's mask and forced the golden elixir, "Good," She praised as the human drinked obediently, "Now try to relax before we make it to the other Titan," She added.
"AAAAAH!" A deafening, breaking, familiar roar of agony paralyzed Luz with fear. Her expression faded. The blue-eyed witch did not miss that change in the human's appearance.
"Oh, she's a loud one, isn't she?" Harvey's sister giggled, amused.
"Whereʼs my fiancée?!" Luz distortedly demanded to know, tugging on her restraints.
"You'll see her once they're done," She giggled, "See you soon, human," She added, and left.
"AAAAAH!" Another roar was heard from the empty corridors, echoing in Luz's mind.
"I need to help her!" The human thought.
Luz tugged on her restraints, but she could not move an inch. Her limbs were securely cuffed between each joint, making it impossible to even twitch. The spiky cuff hurt her chest whenever she took a deeper breath.
"Shit… You just had to have a cake," The human cursed herself, realizing she could do nothing but wait and hope for the best.
Luz would weep if only she could. She lowered her head in defeat and sobbed dryly, hoping Amity would be alright, and someone would find them before it was too late. The Owl Demon tried to support the human, but their fear was too overwhelming.
A pounding, pulsating headache was the first sensation Amity felt. She could not even open her eyes or twitch her fingers, paralyzed by pain and nausea. A low groan escaped her parted lips, and her limp, fallen-forward head rolled, finally lolling back.
SPLASH!
"AAH!" A sudden bucket of ice-cold water shocked her body, burning her skin and nerves.
Amity shot her eyes open in fear, panic, and pain. The golden orbs roamed the room, but she could not see anything past the white beam of light blinding her. Her breathing was rapid, shallow, and labored as she tried to regain control of her body.
"Wh-wh-who's th-th-th-ere!?" The witch stuttered, demanding to know.
Amity tried to sound brave and intimidating, but she was frightened. She had not been taken by surprise like that in years, and Luz was nowhere to be seen.
"Titan! Luz!" Amity realized her fiancée was missing. Before she could call out again, she was hit with another bucket of freezing water.
"Gah!" The Heiress gasped for air. Her body shivered painfully, "Sh-show y-y-yourself!" She called again, her voice trembling.
Clang.
A metal water bucket was placed on the floor. Amity squinted but still could not see anybody outside the proximity of the blinding light beam. Suddenly, a heavy step echoed through the room as someone approached her. One leg entered her view, then another, and soon, she could recognize an empty-eyed person standing before her.
Amity's jaw dropped in shock when she looked up. The forest-like green orbs were immobile, looking down at her. The tan, usually warm face, was cold and emotionless. This was not right.
"¿M-mamá?" Amity gasped, staring dumbfoundedly at Danielle.
"I need to clean you. Stay still," The human said emotionlessly as she fetched another bucket of water to pour it on the witch's aching body.
"¡Mamá! St-st-stop!" Amity tried to reason.
Another wave of freezing water paralyzed her. She shivered painfully. Simultaneously, she tried to control her body. She inhaled deeply, eyeing Danielle. The wide pupils, empty green eyes, and apathetic behavior did not look natural.
Before the witch could say anything, the doors opened. Amity immediately recognized a low chuckle. The Heiress tried to control her violently shivering body as she glared at the newcomer. The black-haired man entered the beam of light.
"B-B-Brash," Amity growled, stuttering from the cold. Harvey smirked victoriously, glaring at her struggle.
"Me," He said in amusement.
"W-what did you do t-to m-my mother?" Amity hissed wildly. Harvey laughed sinisterly, lowering himself, forcefully grabbing the lavender hair.
"Nothing your REAL mother wouldn't have done," He hissed venomously. Amity's breathing hitched as the pain at her scalp increased, "But don't worry," His voice suddenly softened. He pulled away, letting go of the lavender hair, "Iʼm not a monster," He said, grabbing Danielle's arm and pulling her close, "She won't remember anything," He explained, lifting her hair and presenting her neck, where a cerulean-blue gem resided.
"Wh-what did you d-d-do?" Amity asked, her eyes roaming frantically over her mother.
Harvey let go of the human, who stood frozen exactly where she was released, before leaning to the cuffed woman before him. He grinned maliciously, clearly taking pleasure in the Heiress's distress.
"I used your mother's journal to recreate a fun controlling spell," Harvey said. He was shocked to see the shivering witch burst out laughing.
"Wh-when I th-thought y-you couldn't be more stupid," Amity whispered in disbelief, barely controlling her laughter.
SMACK!
A sudden hit on the Heiress's face shocked her, eliciting more maniacal laughter between cold-induced tremors. Harvey hit her again, bruising her cheek, but she could not stop herself. Amity could not believe what she just heard.
"Whatʼs so funny, bitch!?" The man hollered. He hit her again, slightly turning the chair she sat in with the force of the punch.
"Dumbass," Amity spat a blood-mixed saliva, smiling lopsidedly, "You kidnapped THE Owl Lady's girlfriend," She explained, "Youʼre as good as dead when she finds us," She said. A giggle overtook her features again.
Harvey straightened up. His ears slanted, and his expression faded. Amity only smiled widely at that, knowing he did not think that through. Simultaneously, she knew she had to wait long enough for Eda to find them. That hope gave her the strength to endure whatever the man was about to do to her.
"IF she finds you," Harvey hissed, "Did you really think this spell was the only thing I found in your mother's journal?" He asked rhetorically. It was Amity's turn to slant her ears anxiously, "Enjoy some mother-daughter time while I have more pressing duties to attend to," He hissed, approaching the older woman.
Amity could have sworn her heart skipped a few beats when she realized what he meant. She watched Harvey draw a spell circle before waving the room. Danielle turned around, facing the Heiress. The empty look in the usually warm green eyes was unsettling. The human grabbed the paralyzer.
"No, Mamá. ¡No!" Amity begged, gulping nervously.
The Heiress pulled on the restraints, trying to back away, but she was unable to do anything. Danielle hesitated momentarily before pushing a trigger a few times, the electricity zapping at the end of the weapon.
"Ayudame, Mija," Danielle whispered breathlessly.
Before Amity could say anything, a painful electrical current paralyzed her. The witch's jaw clenched. She could barely breathe as her muscles spasmed painfully. The cuffs burned her skin.
"Lo siento," Danielle whispered when she pulled the paralyzer back.
"¿Mamá?" Amity asked hoarsely, suspecting her mother was awake, gulping loudly as she tried to calm her labored breathing.
"Sí, Cariño–" Danielle replied and connected the paralyzer with the pale skin again.
"MMMMNNNGGHHHHH!" Amity whimpered in pain through a clenched jaw as her entire body spasmed, "Fuck!" She gasped for air when the human retrieved the weapon again.
The witch breathed heavily with her mouth agape. Drool left her lips uncontrollably. She was weak, and her heart pounded hard against her chest. Her limbs burned where her skin met the shackles, blocking her magic.
"At least I'm not freezing anymore," Amity thought, glad to have received that dark humor from her Bond with Luz.
Her ears slanted when she realized how Danielle trembled. The human punched her with her free hand before grabbing the lavender wet hair forcefully to force her to face her. Amity gulped, seeing her motherʼs struggle for control.
"Mamá, you have to fight it," The witch whispered hoarsely, "This idiot is not smart enough to reproduce Odalia's magic. You can– MMMMNNNGGHHHHH!" Another electric current incapacitated her.
Danielle held the paralyzer at the witch's body longer than she did before. The pale body seized painfully. The green eyes watched the Heiress with an empty gaze while the tears watered the tan cheeks.
"GAH!" Amity gasped for air when the weapon was finally removed from her body, "Fuck…" She tried to calm her breathing, "Mamá, it's okay," The witch said, seeing Danielle's tears, "It's not your fault. I've been through worse, and we'll get through it, too," She added.
Amity had barely any time to react when the human placed the paralyzer on the tool tray and retrieved a baton. Danielle quickly refocused on the prisoner. While her eyes continued to release tears, she repeatedly hit the witch's joints, smashing her daughterʼs weakest points.
"AAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Amity roared when another hit found her old Grudby wound, "M-Mamá, please," She sobbed weakly.
The expansion of her chest began to calm down as she regained control of her body. Danielle's lips quivered, but before she could force words out, the doors to the room opened with a thud. Amity squinted, trying to see who had joined them.
"You look like shit," Harvey entered the beam of light. He drew the spell circle, and Danielle let go of the weapon and her pose relaxed, "We'll continue tomorrow," He added, grabbing Amity's chin forcefully, "Don't worry. We have a long way to go, and I need to prepare you accordingly," He said venomously.
"What are you–?" Amity tried to ask, but a powerful hit on her face surprised her.
"You'll know in time," He replied, smiling widely. The Heiress spit blood at him, "Bitch," He hissed with disgust, "While we wait for the transport crew I can spare a few minutes to do what I wanted for years since we met at the Grudby Championships," He hissed, chuckling dryly.
Amity had no chance or strength to ask what he had in mind. She knew what went down during that game and felt like she deserved every punishment he was about to give her. After the third punch, she was barely conscious. Only the sight of Danielle before her helped her through.
"Mamá," It was the last thought before Amity finally passed out.
Luz could not bear it anymore. She lost count of the screams she heard. Hearing her fiancée in agony was painful enough, but realizing she could not feel their connection was agonizing. She hated helplessness.
"Titan, she's all alone, and I can't even move!" Luz screamed at herself internally. The demon's sad chirps of support were not helping much.
Suddenly, everything stopped. Luz heard footsteps in the corridor, and the heavy metal door opened. The human tried to listen to every sound, trying to understand what was happening. Her heart pounded hard against her chest in fear and helplessness.
"Move, bitch!" Luz heard a familiar, masculine voice as the door to her cell opened.
"Amity!" The human thought.
Luz watched with wide eyes as two strange men dragged her fiancée in. Harvey followed them. She could not believe the witch was still conscious. The Heiress had her hands cuffed behind her back. She was barefoot, and her trouser legs were partially torn and burned off. The pale calves were severely burned.
The lavender hair looked wet, sticking to a beat-up, swollen face. Upon further inspection, the witch was found to be hurt and bruised in multiple places. Amity's breathing was raspy, shallow, and labored. Her crashed, parted lips trembled as a long string of bloodied saliva dangled before breaking.
The golden eyes rolled around the room half-consciously until they landed on Luz. Amity let out a pained gasp when she noticed how her fiancée was cuffed to a vertical table like an animal. Before she could say anything, her legs buckled underneath.
"Stand up, bitch!" One of the men growled, pulling Amity up, forcing her to stand.
"Stop that!" Luz roared, pulling on her restraints.
Amity looked up again. She tried to smile at her fiancée's attempt to help her, but her eyes rolled up. Her ears fluttered weakly before slanting. Her expression faded, and her lips released a weak whimper.
"Let her go!" Luz roared, pulling on her restraints. She did not think that through.
"Fine," Harvey smiled mischievously, "You heard the woman. Let her go," He ordered. The men snickered and threw Amity to the floor by the wall. The Heiress fell with a hard thud, moaning in pain, "Happy now?" The blue-eyed man asked Luz.
"What do you want with us!?" The human demanded to know, tugging on the restraints. Harvey waved for the men to leave them alone.
"You'll know everything in time," He hissed venomously, "Let's just say there's business Odalia left unfinished, and I will fix that," Harvey said ominously, "Getting my revenge on that Blight slut is just a–"
"Shut up!" Luz roared distortedly, her eyes turning black-gold.
"You better control yourself, human," Harvey hissed, "One wrong move and these spikes will end you," He added. Luz took a deep breath, and her eyes returned to normal, "Better," The man chuckled, "Now rest. We still have a long way to go," He turned around to leave.
"Where are you taking us?" Luz asked, doubting she would receive an answer. But the man stopped mid-step.
"Why, the other side of the world, human," Harvey said, grinning like a madman before leaving the women alone in their cell.
"Amity, talk to me!" Luz begged instantaneously.
The witch could not reply. She was hurt and tired. Her arm and head hurt from the impact on the hard floor. The golden eyes rapidly blinked as she tried to focus her gaze. It did not do her much good. Her entire body began to tremble, weakened and chilled.
"D-Danielle–" Amity slurred, confusing her fiancée. The golden eyes kept rolling uncontrollably as the witch barely hung to her consciousness, "Luz, Danielle–" She tried to speak, but forming words was beyond her capabilities.
"What is it, Baby?" The human asked worriedly and heartbrokenly.
Before Amity could answer, the doors to their cell opened. Someone held a bag in their hand. A few steps echoed, and Luz finally recognized the person before them. Green orbs were immobile, empty, and hollow.
"Dani!?" The chained human gasped in disbelief.
"Oh, this is NOT happening!" Luz thought, and the demon chirped in agreement.
It was another lonely morning. Eda found Danielle's bed empty. The witch realized she had been sleeping in the human's room more often than in her nest. She smiled, thinking she had to talk with her girlfriend about the arrangements sooner rather than later.
"Edaaaa!" Hooty's high-pitched voice earned the Owl Lady's irritated groan, "Emira Blight is cawing you," He added. That got the witch's attention.
"Danielle forgot her lunch again?" Eda murmured jokingly, slowly getting to her feet.
The Owl Lady walked downstairs and plopped onto the couch. The house demon served her a strong Black Bean Brew as she curled up under the blanket, and the Crow Phone perched on her shoulder.
"Whatʼs up, Blight Sister?" Eda asked groggily, sniffing the Brew, slowly waking up.
"Did Danielle leave in the morning?" Emira asked, "I haven't seen her today, and she was supposed to meet–"
"What the hell do you mean?" Eda exclaimed, interrupting the Healer. She sat up urgently, wide awake.
"Other Nurses haven't seen her," The Healer said, "I didn't mean to sound like a boss-boss, but she never made it to work, which isn't like her–"
"WHAT!?" Eda roared. She was not even aware how magic escaped her body.
Whatever Emira said next was not heard. The Owl Lady's braid roamed at a hundred miles an hour. All she could focus on was that her girlfriend was missing. The woman she once hoped to marry was nowhere to be found.
"Eda, are you there?" Emira urged more sternly.
"Huh?" Eda gasped, "Yeah, I need to call Lily," She added. Her voice filled with anxiety.
"Keep me posted!" Emira begged in time for Eda to disconnect the call.
"Shit…" They said in unison.
While Eda stumbled out of her blankets, gulping the remains of her Brew, Emira sat frozen at her desk. She could not even think of the possibility that her employee was missing. But it was not just some Nurse missing. It was Danielle. The woman was Amity's mother, and, to some extent, her family as well.
Eda rushed to her room, quickly changing into her more comfortable clothes before running into the forest, looking for any sign of abduction. She summoned her Scroll and called Lilith. While the Owl Lady had the worst feeling, preparing for the worst, her sister was sorting some old books, answering the call.
"Edalyn, you know I'm at work," The older Clawthorne answered her Scroll in a hushed voice.
"Lily, Dani's missing!" Eda practically yelled. She was on the verge of panic.
"Calm down, Eda. Maybe she–"
"Blight cawed me! She never made it to The Clinic!" Eda interrupted. The longer silence occurred before Lilith spoke again.
"I'll meet you at the Owl House in an hour," The older sister said sternly, "I'll get Hunter. He used to be an expert in missing persons," She added.
"Thank you," Eda whispered shakily.
They disconnected, and the Owl Lady headed home. She did not know whether Emira already thought of that, but she felt an urge to inform Amity that her mother was missing. The long connection signal turned into a missed call.
"Come on, Boots. Now's not the time to ignore my calls," Eda murmured under her breath as she paced the living room nervously. Hooty watched her worriedly.
"Maybe she's still sleeping?" The house demon said, "Try calling Willow, she was with them yesterday," He proposed. Eda's expression lightened.
"Good idea!" She exclaimed and chose Willow's number.
Eda heard a familiar ringing right in front of her house. She looked up at Hooty, who quickly opened the front door, revealing the short witch. Willow was just about to knock when her Scroll received a call.
"What are you doing here?" Eda asked anxiously.
"I was hoping to find Luz," Willow said, gulping nervously, "I can't find her anywhere, and Amity hasn't been answering for the last couple of hours," She said, entering the Owl House, "Thatʼs unlike her to ignore a call," She explained.
Eda's expression faded, her ears slanted anxiously, and she froze in realization. Her hands shook. She took a deep breath, held it in, and released it. It took her a moment before she regained her ability to speak.
"Danielle's missing, too," Eda said, void of any emotions.
They already knew it was no accident that their loved ones were missing. Not when all three of them were suddenly gone without a trace. They sat on the couch and waited patiently for Lilith and Hunter to arrive, hoping they would know what to do.
Willow sat with Eda at the Owl House, knowing they could only interfere with Hunter's investigation. The Bat Queen helped, soaring the skies, looking for any sign of the human who helped the animals from her forest so much.
"Are you sure it was clever to bring the Bat Queen?" Lilith asked doubtfully.
"She knows these woods like no one else," Hunter replied, following Danielle's usual path to the Clinic, "Also, she overheard our conversation, and there was no stopping her," He added sheepishly. The older witch smirked.
"She's very fond of Danielle, isn't she?" Lilith giggled, slightly lighting.
"Who isn't?" Hunter smiled, recalling the summer vacation.
Suddenly, the man's face hardened, and he jumped over a patch of ground. Lilith stopped instantly, afraid to cover whatever her old protegé had found. Hunter squatted before lowering to all fours.
"Someone tried to cover the tracks here," The blonde man said. His magenta eyes traveled up, "Look over there," He left the ground, approaching a broken twig right behind the red-haired woman.
"I will never understand how you find these things," Lilith said with awe in her voice, following the younger witch.
"I guess that's the upside from all the abuse Philip put me through," Hunter joked bitterly, going deeper into the woods, "Oh, no."
The witches froze. The small clearing in the forest bore the signs of struggle. Lilith quickly knelt, drawing a bluish spell circle. She furrowed her brows in concern while Hunter moved past the ex-Coven Head.
"Oh, she was here, alright," The man's voice worried Lilith.
"What do you–?" The older witch paused, seeing her apprentice hold a familiar, long, wide, crooked blade, "Oh, Eda will not like this," Lilith said, gulping anxiously.
Danielle entered the cell. She focused on the witch lying on the floor. Amity's breathing was heavy and labored. Her golden eyes watched her with fear, a fear the human hoped she would never witness. She approached the hurt woman and opened her bag. The Heiress tried to pull away in panic.
"I'm here to heal you," Danielle said coldly, not controlling the words leaving her mouth. While Luz watched her with fear, Amity had no strength left to crawl away.
"Come on, López! You can fight it!" Danielle encouraged herself, hating how she could not act on her behalf.
"Mamá, please…" Amity sobbed quietly, watching the human retrieve some equipment from her bag.
"Do not move," Danielle ordered sternly.
Luz did not recognize her Tía. Whatever happened, this was not the Danielle López she knew. The hazel-brown eyes eyed the hurt witch. Amity looked scared of the older womanʼs every move.
Danielle retrieved a small wooden block from her bag and placed it underneath Amityʼs leg. The witch froze, not knowing what would be done to her. The older woman prepared ointments and bandages before she started cleaning the wounds.
"Mmmmnnngghhhhh…" Amity whimpered when the wound sizzled from the magical medicine.
"Amity," Luz called out, confused about the entire situation, "Did Dani do this to you?" She asked. Blood left her face when she noticed a slight nod of the lavender-haired head.
"En–" Amity gasped, "Entanglement…" She forced words out with incredible difficulty.
The golden eyes roamed the woman before her, analyzing her behavior. Danielle breathed heavily, she blinked rapidly, and her hands shook. Amity smirked slightly, knowing what was happening.
"Thatʼs it, Mamá. Fight it," The witch encouraged.
But nothing changed. Danielle forced Amity's other leg onto the wooden block and secured her wounds. The witch exchanged looks with Luz before the golden eyes began to roll up. The Heiress did not notice when a small potion vial was forced to her lips until she choked on the liquid.
"Drink," Danielle ordered.
Amity's eyes barely focused on her surroundings, but she complied. She was relieved that whatever was given to her, it soothed her discomfort. Danielle retrieved a metal collar from her bag and attached it to the witch's neck.
"What the–?" Amity gasped in shock.
Danielle did not reply. Once the collar was secured on the pale neck, the human proceeded to remove Amity's handcuffs. The witch immediately tried to cast a spell, but she was instantaneously paralyzed by agonizing electric current originating from the collar.
"Mmmmnnngghhhhh!" Amity mewled in pain, falling to the floor. Her lips foamed saliva, her entire body seized, and she barely controlled her bladder.
"Amity!" Luz exclaimed in shock and fear, tugging on her restraints.
The young human hated helplessness. All she could do was watch her fiancée seize and writhe on the floor in agony while her guardian, her family, was the immediate reason behind it.
"Don't fight," Danielle ordered.
The electric current disappeared, and Amity's body relaxed. A few last shocks ran through her body, and she released a pained whimper. She had to admit that Harvey was well prepared.
"There's no getting out of this without outside help," Amity thought.
Danielle grabbed her daughter and pulled her toward the room's corner opposite Luz. She attached the witch's arms to the cuffs incorporated into the wall, forcing her to kneel. Amity's sight was blurry, and her body felt numb. She did not realize her position until her wrists were moistened with Healing Ointments.
"Mamá…" The Heiress begged, "Eres más fuerte de lo que crees," She slurred.
Luz blinked dumbfoundedly, not understanding what the witch just said, but Danielle stopped. The older woman froze mid-movement, and her hands, tying the bandages and closing the cuffs, shook deliriously. A short pause gave Amity hope that her mother would be able to fight off the spell, but the human resumed her actions momentarily, shifting to the Heiress's beaten-up face.
"Tía Dani," Luz tried to assist her fiancée's attempt to reach the older woman, "Nada funcionará a menos que lo haga funcionar," She added.
Amity was unsure why Luz said that, but it must have meant something to the older woman. Danielle froze again. Her shaking hands let go of the butterfly bandages. The tan face was close enough for the witch to see how the pupils shrank and dilated again.
"Sheʼs fighting," Amity thought.
Danielle's breathing hitched, and she quickly packed her bag. She left confused Luz and shackled-to-a-wall Amity behind, rushing out of their cell. The witch could not fight her exhaustion.
"Amity?" Luz called, seeing the fluttering eyelids and rolling golden eyes, "Amity!?" She repeated with more urgency.
"Luz…" Amity whispered weakly.
The lavender head fell limply to the witch's chest as everything disappeared again.
Everything was dark. The sensation of a moist material on the face was disgusting, but it did not matter. The wide metal cuffs on the wrists and the sounds of dangling chains and multiple footsteps did.
"Let me out! Gah!" Danielle's exclamation was cut short when something hit her face, "Que puta," She growled in pain.
Suddenly, the moist material was removed from her face, and the bright lights blinded her painfully. She blinked rapidly, trying to focus her blurry gaze and recognize her surroundings. It was impossible.
"Whatʼs the last thing you remember?" A feminine voice asked. The human squinted, but she could not see her interlocutor, "Speak, human," The person urged.
"Um–" Danielle paused, frowning in concentration, "I was leaving home for work," She said, widening her eyes in sudden realization, "Oh, no. My patients!" She exclaimed, tugging on the restraints, "Let me go!" She continued to struggle, ignoring a vicious giggle.
"Fascinating," The mysterious woman whispered in amusement, "Breaking you will be a piece of cake," She said.
Danielle stopped struggling. She saw a bluish light that illuminated the face of a strange witch. Half of her face was painted blue, and her eyes shone with bright light. The woman held a small gem in her hand.
"Now stay still, human," The witch said, concentrating on the spell, "You wouldn't want me to hurt you," She added, "More than necessary," She concluded, increasing the power to the spell.
"What the–?" Danielle choked. Her eyes widened, and her pupils shrank as the spell began to work.
Suddenly, she saw Harvey in the distance. The spell connected her and the black-haired man. Before the doctor could react in any way, an indescribable pain paralyzed her body. Danielle was unaware that her eyes shone with bright blue light. She was too overwhelmed with her other sensations.
The pain in her neck, radiating to her head, blinded her, making her wish to be dead. Out of nowhere, the images of her mother blinded her. The memories that still haunted her nightmares flooded her in an overwhelming tsunami of guilt.
"It's working," The witch whispered, seeing Danielle's shaking form.
Simultaneously, the human relieved her adolescence, re-experiencing how her mother taught her how to torture, interrogate, and intimidate people. The face of every single one of her victims flashed before her eyes, and their voices deafened her.
"Oh, perfect," Harvey whispered, "I couldn't choose a better person to weaken that Blight bitch even if I wanted to," He hissed, before groaning in discomfort.
"What is it?" The woman asked worriedly.
"Sheʼs strong," Harvey said, wincing again, "But nothing I can't handle," He assured.
His companion did not believe him. She saw the human seized on the floor, fighting against the spell. It was absolutely clear that the woman was not about to let someone control her without a fight. Especially given what Harvey wanted to do with her.
Danielle no longer felt her body. The darkness surrounded her before the light violently blinded her. Her breathing hitched when she emerged from the deepest parts of her Mind Scapes. The physical manifestation of guilt surrounded her.
The next thing Danielle saw was a flash of Amity. She heard the witch's scream echo in her head. It was unbearable. She wanted to do something, to save her daughter, but she could not. She was too weak.
"Mamá, no," The human heard the Heiress's cry, begging for something.
Suddenly, she saw everything.
"¿Mija?" Danielle whispered, unaware she spoke.
Amity sat before her in the wooden chair. The witch's face was swollen and bruised. She looked tired. The Heiress looked at her pleadingly. Danielle's gaze traveled to her hands, realizing she held a blood-covered metal baton.
At that moment, she realized what she had done.
Danielle had become her worst nightmare – her mother.
