Saku awoke to absalute silance, and an unfamiliar figure staring worriedly down at her. She blinked, emerald eyes meeting ruby ones, as she took ahold of the stranger's hand as he pulled her swiftly to her feet.

The caramel-haired sorceress had just opened her mouth to begin questioning the older boy in front of her, but he spoke up first before she could make so much as a single sound.

"So, who are you, exactly? Because, I'm ten billion percent sure that there was no one else here last time I checked." He chuckled sheepishly, and rubbed the back of his neck in a show of nervousness.

Saku blinked, and raised a questioning eyebrow at the ruby-eyed boy.

"I um. Parden me for asking this... but, I never got your name." She paused briefly to take a deep breth before begining again. "My name's Sakura. Sakura Kinomoto. What's yours?"

The ruby-eyed teen blinked owlishly at her for a few seconds before her question finally seemed to register in his brain.

"Oh, sorry about that." The boy replied back with a playful glint in his ruby-colored eyes. "The name's Senku. Senku Ishigami, and I'm a scientist. It's nice to meet you, Sakura-san."

Hearing the way Senku had said her name, "Sakura-san", it made her heart clench painfully in her chest. There was only one other person she knew of who also called her by that very same name.

And that person was the one and only Eriol Hiiragizawa. The reincarnation of the one and only Clow Reed himself.

She let her thoughts stray off into space as she followed Senku toward the small clearing that he and a few of his friends had chosen to camp out in for the time being.

"Senku! You're back! What took you so long, anyway?" came a rather loud shout belonging to a tall and well-toned boy with spiky dark brown hair. "Oh! And, hey, wait a minute! You found another person who broke free from their stone shell like we did? Woah! That's so freakin cool!"

Saku and Senku shared an exasperated glance between the two of them before the scientist turned back to face his companion head-on.

"Quiet it down would ya, you big oaf! You're going to make us all ten billion percent deff if you keep shouting so dang loudly like that!"

The emerald-eyed Card Mistress raised an amused eyebrow, and turned toward Senku. "So, um. Is that his name, then? His name's Big Oaf?"

At that statement: Senku burst out laughing. Saku soon joined in, followed suit by a brown haired girl, who was previously attempting to cook something over a small fire. While all that was taking place: The spicky-haired boy just looked nothing if not totally confused.

It took quite a while before the three of them could manage to get it together and stop laughing their heads off. By the end of it: Saku's lungs burned, and her face hurt from how much she'd kept the same smile smile plastered onto herbface for rather long, yet also kind of short span of time.

"Hell, I like your spirit, kid!" Said Senku, with a wide, creepy grin on his face. "But, to answer your question: His name isn't "Big Oaf". It's Taiju."

Saku blushed at that, and Senku reached down to ruffle her short carmel-brown hair.

"So, how long have you three been alone out here?" Saku quietly asked, directing her curious gaze upon Senku. "Aren't you wondering if there's anyone else out there like us?"
