Livewire was a swift kick in the pants to his ego. Oliver Queen kept an eye as Bruce and Dinah stayed in position.
Livewire?
Well, she came well equipped.
The chip fir Overload had no time limit until it was shorted out. She'd keep the bats in the room with so many socialite as her device fired up to hack them all blind. One scan. In the bank, - her bank, they went.
Slade never told her to not play her hand if it helped the opposition. So?
Fun times all around as the bat heard a ping at his watch.
"Ollie."
Dinah noted this as she pretended to sip her champagne and wait, while Bruce and Arrow took their time heading off a criminal at the source.
A dead end.

Bruce rerouted with Ollie's help as a scream rang out. They got back to find the tech wonders in those fortified shells, exploding!
"Hacked??
"A distraction-
Bruce snapped up his neck to the lights as they flickered with a Goliath of electrical surges.
It did not speak. It did not move, but floated and swerved on the air currents it could leech off if, while the marvels in their cages all malfunctioned in a horrific example of tech- crimes.
Mecha, as the monster flew into a mecha – suit and got it to work. Dinah flung herself in the middle wkth a shawl over her head as she let her voice try and blow back the enemy.
Lungs as wind and thunder, it did not bow easily as Overload multiplied to attach to other devices. It sent out a lightening strike at Dinah as Ollie went to drag her out of the line – his fiancé should she stop being the hero more than he felt right now.
"It's moving without shifting its aim. Divided like that?"
"It's a cover." Bruce worked his eyes over the stray shot if blue lightening as it made its way down the same hall they'd come from.
"We have to leave –
The walls lit up blue. The field of energy trapped them all as the trigger was off. The crime, nearly through.
"What now, Bruce??" Ollie growled, checking for a way to break their electrified cage.
"We fight." ( Robin in apprentice part one.) Dinah said as sge got into a stance. Robots from the displays were on their feet, wings, heels. The bat had no weapons. No suit. Ollie had some tech but it was useless without finding a place to change his stripes.
"As us?? Are you –
"We don't have a shot at leaving. Suck it up, come on!" Dinah shouted at the others as they flew into a fight that was what had been planned. All while Bruce and his companions waited to have the upper edge. To deactivate the wall of light to pass on through.

"Wow. That was…" Livewore looked at her nails as Slade's voice shrilly hit her inner ear.
"OWW! OW WHOA! –
~ Compliments to your idea, Livewire. The bat is tied down. Now.~
His eyes were probably on a piece of ass, or….? The box holding his key to the Under- effing – world.
" How do I…will it explode? Um,so…short this and it's done, right?"
~ Try. Let me see what you're capable of.~
She snorted, feeling offended by that comment. Impressed her ass…
She let her power trickle below as magic happened. The device cradling the pedestal held gem was made to dim and shut down. The room was dark, the sensors were black as night.
She grinned and reached out a hand. "Good. And no witness-
" I wouldn't be so sure."
The girl turned to see a red head with an arrow in her face. Not a sharp one like robin hood, nut rounded. It sounded with a pop as she screamed out.
Her whole thing was lightening. Her WHOLE –
She yelled out as it didn't stop. That little punk….
"He….he dumped you….didn't he??" She scowled back at Roy's face.
"I don't do what he says unless it suits the method of saving. Livewire." He plucked up the box and the crackle in her ear was still there.

Roy got goosebumps as a flash back of Ollie's face in shadow in the manor came bwck to haunt him.
~ He and I hated our lives, but we made it through. Then, je betrayed me. I let it happen…Roy? Don't let you friends become something you'd regret. ~ ( based on Arrow Slade. Not the Australian one, he plays that as a cover in my story. Slade is spy material.)
"We'll be ready." Roy answered before Livewire lost consciousness. The doors swished back electronically as Ollie and the bat with Dinah swooped in. Roy looked on with Livewire in cuffs and the strange black alien box, back in its cradle.
"Tell me what the fuck that was. Who's after an ultimate power source in this city?"
Ollie didn't try to speak, but Roy didn't let it remain numb a relationship between them. "I'm not here to help you. I found out that the Titans lost their leader, and I met him."
Bruce's eyes widened at the name. "When." He demanded. "When did you see him, Speedy."
"In Jump. But, there is something I gotta let out. I joined the Titans on standby. We, got it. And, I'm not sure that Livewire wasn't hired to steal the box. Pandora, right? Some ultimate energy reserve in a neat –
"It's technically…not a sound conclusion if it's safe." Oliver told the kid, finding a way to fib his answers out. His own ward, disowned. Same as Robin, but he had free will right now to get away. Why not? Why not try a new life?
This was Roy. He wasn't like the playboy's other son. He was…aware.
"Then get this. It was someone you know, Ollie. The same guy you flipped over on that island you fought to get off of."
Ollie turned to Bruce who didn't want to say a thing. "Bruce? You…you knew he was…"
"The hunch was more than there. The Titans –
"The thing is, they think he's only Slade. Slade, the enigma. The crime lord. But, we know his real face. His game. The reason he's going after a powerful piece of tech?"
"To the highest bidder?" Dinah bit her lip, seeing Ollie ready to punch a wall.
"No, Dee." Roy shook his head. "It's a power grab, to mess with all of us."
