Episode 84: Pearls are a Spoink's Best Friend
One night, Team Rocket is inside a phone booth at night, where they were cramped while trying to place a call.
"You're on my foot!" James cries out.
"Will you quit your pushin?" Meowth shouts.
"Move it so I can dial the phone!" Jessie shouts.
"I want to!" James says.
"And Meowth says, "Hey, it's my toin!"
Soon, Giovanni comes on the screen, and questions, "What is it you three want?"
"How that happened?" Jessie asks.
"We have news for you, sir," James says.
"It better be good news, for a change," Giovanni says.
"Well boss, we've been getting some interesting stuff involving Team Aqua and Team Magma, thanks for us spying on them and the twerps. We learned that Team Aqua and Team Magma have been trying to find some orbs," Meowth says.
"Apparently each of them is supposed to call or or was it the legendary. Team Magma plans to control Groudon so the land can expand. And Team Aqua plans to capture this Kyogue so the ocean can expand," James says.
"And apparently they plan to capture those legendary Pokemon and gather what they can in order to find them," Jessie says, "I think they even tried to take this meteorite back on Mt. Chimney in order to do it.
"Hmm, seems that you've found quite a lot about them," Giovanni says, "What became of this meteorite?"
"Well thanks to the twerps the meteorite was destroyed," James says.
Then Meowth says, "And we actually heard the twerps new friend talking about having some green orb that can be used to summon this other Pokemon. I think that twerpette called it Rayaqaza."
"Well, their loss is no concern, as long as they were unable to accomplish their goal," Giovanni says. "Bring me up to speed on the secret base."
"Up to speed?" James questions.
"Did you finish it?!" Giovanni demands.
"We sure did. It was great," Meowth answers.
"Yes. Until it was completely destroyed by the twerps and we were booted out by them as well," Jessie says, sheepishly.
"Not those kids again," Giovanni says, "I don't know whether they are useful or a group of nunsense. Always interfering with our plans, but preventing Team Aqua and Team Magma from accomplishing their goals. I suppose there's no other choice but for me to bring in the A team of Butch and Cassidy to finish the job where you left off."
Team Rocket quickly panics
"No, that's really not necessary," Jessie says.
"We'll be sure to keep the twerps out of our hair," James says.
"Well, regardless of whether or not you yield results on that front, I do appreciate you telling me that Team Magma and Team Aqua's plans, should they accomplish either or both of their goals, have both failed. Any failure for those ecological terrorists is a silent victory for us."
The call ends after Giovanni's Persian is heard meowing.
"I hate dat stuck-up Poisian!" Meowth says, biting on the phone.
"Well, at least he didn't hurt my feelings this time like he normally does," James says.
Then Jessie says, "We need to make some changes, step up, and show the boss that we can get a job done!"
"Right!" The boys agree.
"We'll come up with new stuff, and be a whole new team," Meowth says.
Team Rocket cheers, "To a new beginning!
"Wobbuffet!" (You said it!) Wobbuffet says, coming out of the Pokeball again.
"Some things never change, "Team Rocket says.
Soon, the phone booth falls apart.
It's another beautiful day in the Hoenn Region, and Mew and her friends are up bright and early. They brush their teeth and wash their faces as Brock is finishing making breakfast for everyone. With the Fortree City gym battle coming up, there's not a second to waste.
Brock calls out, "Breakfast is ready, everyone!"
Soon, everyone sits down to breakfast. Then, as they eat, they hear a rustling in some bushes, prompting Skitty to go investigate.
"Wait, Skitty!" May calls out.
Skitty jumps into the bushes
"Hey! What are you doing?" May calls out, rushing over.
Then Skitty jumps back out, frightened, and jumps into May's arms.
"Is there something scary in there?" May asks.
Everyone else comes running up to them both
"Pika Pika!" (Something's up here!) Pikachu asks.
Soon, a Spoink bounces out, but it's searching around frantically for something.
"Hey, it's a Spoink," Brock says.
"Aww how cute," Jens ays.
"Yeah, but there's something different about it," Max says.
"You're right," Mew says.
Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dextette says, "Spoink, the Bounce Pokémon. A Psychic Type. Spoink bounces about on its tail. The pearl upon its head helps to magnify its psychic powers."
"I knew there was something different about it! There's no pearl on top of that Spoink's head!" Max says.
"You're right," Molly says.
"And it seems upset about it," May says.
"Let me look up more about Spoink," Mew says, and presses a button on his Pokédex.
"If a Spoink loses its pearl, it gets extremely tired," Dextette says.
"We gotta help it find its pearl," Mew says.
Torkoal soon starts crying.
Mew consoles him, "Oh, there, there, Torkoal."
"That's so sweet. Torkoal feels sorry for Spoink," May says.
"I know you feel sorry for Spoink, but we'll help it out. I promise," Mew says.
Molly turns to Spoink, "Don't worry, little Spoink, we'll help you find your pearl."
Spoink bounces happily and, before long, they all begin their search
"I think Spoink has an idea of where it could be," Brock says.
"Torkoal." (Sure hope so.) Torkoal says.
Spoink soon comes to a stop.
"Okay Spoink, can you tell us what happened?" Mew asks.
Spoink rests next to a tree.
"So, you fell asleep at this tree…" Mew says.
Spoink rolls over to its side.
"You rolled over to your side…" Mew adds.
Spoink points to the bottom of the cliff.
"And your pearl rolled off your head and went down that cliff?!" Mew says, shocked.
Everyone soon reaches the bottom of the cliff.
"That's a pretty big drop," Tomo says.
"That pearl could be anywhere," Zinnia says.
Mew turns to Spoink, "Did you start looking right around here?"
Spoink nods to confirm.
Brock then calls out, "Mudkip, I choose you!"
"Alright Mudkip, I want you to help us look for Spoink's pearl."
Mudkip agrees.
Soon, everyone splits up.
Max, Jen, Amaura, Torkoal, and Spoink are in one group.
"I wonder where it could've gone," Max says.
"It should be around here," Jen adds.
Max then spots something, "Hey, what's that?"
What they see is something big and partly pink, though Spoink thinks it's its pearl, causing it to use Psychic.
"Whoa! Spoink's using Psychic!" Max says.
Spoink manages to lift the object onto its head as the others show up.
"Did you find it, guys?" Zinnia asks.
But what they see is that the object Spoink found was actually something else.
"That looks a bit too big for a pearl," Brock says.
Spoink turns around to show them it's an Igglybuff.
"That's not a pearl," Jen says.
"It's an Igglybuff," Mew says.
Soon, a little girl rushes over, "You found my Igglybuff!"
Spoink suddenly hops away, making the girl cry before Brock brings it to a stop.
"Hold on, Spoink! That's an Igglybuff on your head!" Brock says.
Then Max takes Igglybuff away, "And you're gonna have to give it back to its trainer."
Spoink quickly becomes disappointed.
A bit later…
"Hard to believe Spoink mistook an Igglybuff for a pearl," Zinnia says.
"A case of wishful thinking is all it is," May says.
Soon, a Voltorb rolls onto the path, prompting Spoink to use Psychic and levitate it towards it, though the Voltrob's trainer shows up.
The trainer reacts in shock, "Wait! Voltorb's flying?"
Spoink puts Voltorb on its head, thinking it's the missing pearl.
Mew then takes Voltorb off of its head, "Sorry Spoink, that's not your pearl. It's a Voltorb and it belongs to someone else."
Then places Voltorb down, "Sorry."
Then Voltrob gives Spoink a Thunderbolt shock, knocking it down.
A bit later….
"As soon as Spoink sees anything round, it gets excited and plops it on its head," Max says.
"I can understand Spoink's excitement, but still," Brock says.
They soon spot an Electrode in the middle of the road, prompting Spoink to act happy and think that it found its pearl.
"Wait, that's not your pearl!" Jen cries out.
"That's an Electrode!" Mew cries out.
But it's late as Spoink used Psychic to lift the Electrode onto its head.
"Cool it, Spoink!" Tomo cries out.
"You do not want to deal with this one!" Zinnia adds.
Suddenly, Electrode uses Explosion, blowing everyone back.
"That's one powerful Explosion attack!" Max cries out.
Later, everyone slumps in defeat.
"This is going to be a lot harder than I thought," Tomo says.
"Skowvet," (I'll say.) Skwovet says.
Soon, Mudkip spots something, which everyone quickly notices.
"Its round, its pink, its shiny, is that the pearl?" Molly asks.
Brock goes over and picks it up, "Yep, this is it."
Spoink uses Psychic to levitate the pearl onto its head.
"Perfect fit!" Jen says.
"Beautiful!" May says.
Mew asks, "Feel better, Spoink?"
Spoink confirms and happily bounces around, prompting Torkoal to cry tears of joy.
"Oh Torkoal," Mew says.
"Torkoal is obviously happy," Max says.
"Imagine if it didn't find the pearl," May says.
Mew then walks with Spoink, "Be careful not to lose it again."
Suddenly, as the group approaches the happy Spoink, they fall right into a pitfall.
"Not another one of Team Rocket's holes!" Mew cries out in anger.
And with that, Team Rocket arrives on the scene.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble, that's the name of our gang!
James:
Make it double, it's our claim to fame!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation.
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.

Team Rocket's blasting off at the superspeed of light!
James:
Surrender now or prepare to fight, fight, fight!
Meowth:
Meowth! Dat's right!
Wobbuffet:
Wobbuffet! (End of scene!)
"Team Rocket!" The girls exclaim.
"But not the Team Rocket's in days of old," Jessie says.
"We're a brand new Team Rocket. Fresh, based, and bold," James says.
"Oh yeah? How so?" Max questions.
"For starters, this," Jessie says and cuts the rope with a clipper.
As soon as Jessie cuts the rope, a net lifts the whole group up
"How do you like us now?" Meowth questions.
"There's more where that came from," James says.
Mew then calls out, "Quick, come out, Corphish!"
Corphish then comes out.
Mew calls out, "Get us out of this net."
Corphish snips away and frees the group, but Spoink loses its pearl in the process, which ends up in Meowth's paws.
"Way to go, Corphish," Mew says.
"Phish Cor Cor!" (Thank you, Mew!) Corphish says.
Jessie growls in anger and calls out, "Seviper, get out here!"
Seviper comes out of the Pokeball.
James calls out, "You, too, Cacnea!"
Cacnea comes out, but gives James a hug instead, "
"We're doing things differently now!" James cries out.
Mew calls out, "Corphish, use Bubble Beam!"
Corphish fires the attack.
Jessie calls out, "Seviper, Wrap up that crustacean!"
Seviper closes in
Mew then calls out, "Dodge, Corphish!"
Corphish barely manages to move in time before Seviper coiled around it.
James calls out, "Cacnea, Pin Missile!"
Cacnea fires the attack.
Mew calls out, "Harden, then Crabhammer, go!"
Corphish defends itself from the pins before nailing both Cacnea and Seviper with Crabhammer and knocking them right into Team Rocket.
"Ready, Corphish? Bubble Beam!" Mew calls out.
"Mudkip, Water Gun!" Brock calls out.
"Amaura, Aurora Beam!" Jen calls out.
All three fire and send Team Rocket flying.
"Fresh new start, my eye!" Jessie cries out.
"We were wrong, this is the same old song and dance!" James adds
"But dis one's a painful golden oldie," Meowth adds.
Team Rocket cries out, "We're blasting off again!"
"Good job, everyone," May says.
"They're gone," Molly adds.
Everyone looks and sees Spoink looking sad again.
What's the matter, Spoink?" Mew asks, worried.
Spoink turns toward her and she finds that its pearl is gone. Again.
"You lost your pearl again?!" Max asks, shocked.
Everyone was shocked by the news.
"You don't think Team Rocket took it?" Tomo asks, shocked.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket was crashing down to the ground through a pine tree.
They cry out, "Bombs away!" And land with a thud.
They soon notice the pearl Meowth has in his paws.
"What's that?" Jessie asks.
"It musta blasted off wit us," Meowth says.
Jessie picks up the pearl, "What a glorious globe."
"That looks to me like the pearl off a Spoink's head," James says.
"Well, I think it would make a much better fashion statement hanging around my neck. This jumbo jewel would do wonders for my social status," Jessie says, fantasizing about having a big pearl for a necklace.
"Except it doesn't belong to you. Besides, everyone knows the size of it means it belonged to a Spoink," James says.
"Maybe, but finders keepers," Jessie says.
Then Meowth says, "Tis miracle fell from the sky for us to give to the boss."
"It did?" Jessie and James say, confused.
"He would love to show off that pretty pearl on his new ring," Meowth says.
"If he had the arm strength to lift it," James points out.
"You're right," Meowht says, realizing that he's right.
But then has another idea, "Aha! I got it! A crown to bring out the king in him. You can guess what he said, 'Of all of my employees, Meowth and his friends truly know how to please their boss," And chuckles.
James is doubtful about it, "I don't know."
"Well, I like it and if the boss isn't happy with it, he can give it to me," Jessie says.
Suddenly, they hear Mew's voice, "Team Rocket!"
Team Rocket turns and sees Mew and the others arriving at the scene.
"Give that pearl back!" Tomo says.
"Yeah! You stole it from Spoink!" May says.
Jessie says, "How's about a pearl of wisdom! RUN!"
Team Rocket amscrays
"After them!" Mew calls out.
The group pursues them
"Both of you, return!" Jessie says.
Seviper and Cacnea are recalled
"Get back here!" Zinnia calls out.
"Give Spoink back its pearl!" Molly adds.
The chase leads into a carnival.
"Look, there's a carnival in town!" Brock says.
"How are we supposed to find them in this crowd?" May asks.
"We have to find them. So we will," Mew says.
"Yeah!" Everyone agrees.
And with that, they head into the carnival with Spoink hopping behind.
The group walks around the carnival to find Team Rocket to get Spoink's pearl back. However, Spoink approaches a juggler and takes one of his juggling balls.
"Here we go again," Zinnia says.
Mac takes the ball back, "This isn't your pearl either, Spoink."
Spoink sulks over the news..
A bit later, inside a tent, a fortune teller was showing a customer their future with the crystal ball, but Spoink stole it away with Psychic.
Brock takes the crystal ball back, "Not a pearl, that's a crystal ball."
May says, "We promise we'll find your pearl, but you need to calm down first and stop taking any and every round thing you see."
Spoink sulks once again.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket is still wandering around.
"Pretty impressive artists dey've got here, "Meowth says.
": Oh, how I long to live the actor's life once more," Jessie says.
Suddenly, a beige fish falls into James' hands.
Someone calls out, "Begging your pardon."
James turns to say, "
Whom they see is the Magikarp Salesman)
"My blue-haired friend, you caught that Feebas I was saving. One of many," The salesman says.
"I see," James says and gives the man his Feebas back.
"What's going on?" Meowth asks.
"Hello good folks," The salesman says, "Perhaps you'd like this Feebas?"
Jessie goes pail, "Feebas?" remembers the day Mew and her friends meet Sullivan and how her hair was a lure to a Feebas, "They're not worth the hook you catch them with! I got my hair used as a fishing lure by one of them and my hair is my life!
"I cannot believe you would throw away a valuable treasure like a Feebas! If I had been around to see that, I would've paid you top dollar for it," The salesman says.
"What's so great about one of dem?" Meowth asks.
The salesman brings out his computer, "Feast your eyes.
Team Rocket looks at the screen and the computer says, "This fish Pokemon called a Feebas is often ignored because of the disheveled appearance of its fins and body."
"So, what's your point?" Jessie asks.
"All in good time, watch," The salesman says.
"This Tender Pokemon called a Milotic, is the evolved form of Feebas. It is said to be the most beautiful of all Pokemon, and is quite skilled in battle.
"A Milotic evolves from a Feebas?" Jessie says, amazed.
"That can't be!" James says, sparkles in her eyes.
"Where'd you get your info?" Meowth asks.
"From the number one source, I got it none other than Professor Birch,"
"To the one that got away. I've got to have one! Pretty please?" Jessie says, totally lovestruck.
"Well, I'm happy to make a deal," The salesman says.
"There's something fishy about this,"James says, sounding unsure.
The salesman then explains, "I will admit I once was a bad businessman, but that's all behind me. It finally dawned on me that the number one rule of business is that the customer is always right. You see, I'm a single dad with six children at home, and all six of them are ten years old. My children are my pride and joy, and all I want is for them to be proud of their old man to make a living. And that's why I quit selling Magikarps and begin selling Feebas. Now all my customers are thrilled as they watch their Feebas evolve into a Milotic before their eyes.
"Well, sir, we're a bit short on money, "Jessie says.
Then the salesman asks, "What about that Spoink pearl? I'll gladly make a trade for that.
"You would? Well, that would work for me," Jessie says, excited.
But James is having second thoughts, "Hold on, Jessie, do we really trust him?"
"Completely. He's changed his life for the better and that's good enough for me," Jessie says.
"Great! We have a deal," The salesman says and, hands her the "Feebas". Then takes the pearl, "This fish is now yours, and this Spoink pearl is mine."
"Okay," Jessie says.
"Not for nuttin, Jess, but don't it look kind of rough around da edges?" Meowth says.
Salesman then says, "I heard some rumor that the rougher a Feebas looks, the prettier a Milotic it'll become."
"Now that's what I call a good deal," Jessie says.
"That means a lot. Thank you for saying so," The salesman says.
A bit later, Jessie is letting her new Pokémon go for a swim in a pond
"This Feebas has lots of energy, huh? Soon, we'll have a magnificent Milotic," Jessie says.
"I guess that salesman really did change his crooked ways he was mentioning," James says.
"And once it evolves into a Milotic, we'll give it to da boss wit our compliments, den we'll be swimming down da stream of success," Meowth says.
Suddenly, the "Feebas" start changing color.
James becomes surprised, "Something's happening now! Look!"
"It's changing its color!" Meowth says.
"Maybe it's evolving into Milotic right now!" Jessie says.
Soon, the back end of the "Feebas" turns red, catching Team Rocket's attention.
"Hold da phone," Meowth says.
"Don't think that's evolving," Jessie says.
Soon, the "Feebas" is revealed to be a Magikarp, indicating that it was in disguise the whole time.
"It's not changing color, it's showing its true color!" Jessie cries out.
Meowth says, "Dat Feebas is a fraud!"
James takes the Magikarp out of the water, "It's a Magikarp!"
Jessie cries out in anger, "How could this have happened!? That little sniveling, sneaky, lying, good-for-nothing phony!"
"I guess it could've been worse," James says.
"How?" Meowth asks.
"There you are!" Mew's voice calls out.
Team Rocket looks and sees Mew and her friends.
"Give Spoink back its pearl!" Molly says.
And Jessie says, "You're a day late and a dollar short!"
"That pearl has turned into this Magikarp," James says.
"Huh?" Jen responds.
"What does that mean?" Zinnia asks.
Then Meowth says, "Jessie traded it for a Feebas, but it wasn't really a Feebas, it was a Magikarp in disguise! And dat's da truth!"
"Who would trade a Spoink's pearl for a Feebas?" Zinnia questions.
"Especially a Feebas that turned into a Magikarp," Brock says.
"Talk about stupid," May adds.
Team Rocket goes from offended to sulking in shame. Soon, Max, Tomo, Jen, and Molly begin laughing at them.
You guys really got taken for a ride!" Jen says.
"Not the sharpest tools in the box, huh?" Tomo adds.
Meowth angrily says, "Excuse me, kids, but if you were dere, you would've done da same ting!"
"I doubt even a baby would've fallen for it," Max adds.
"This 'group therapy' has been wonderful, but we've got things to do," Jessie says.
"We've got a slimy salesman to find!" James adds.
"Slimy salesman?" Mew questions, "This salesman wouldn't happen to be a man with black eyes, brown hair, and wears a white headband and a ivory shirt?"
"That's him!" Team Rocket cries out.
Mew frowns, "I knew it."
"Glad you know him, now we know him too, and know that we gotta get that pearl back," Meowth says.
Team Rocket then runs off, "Bye!"
"I bet that salesman is somewhere at the carnival, let's find him before they do," Mew says.
"Right," The group replies.
At the carnival, Team Rocket looks for the Magikarp Salesman.
"Where is he?" Jessie says, angrily.
"Dat sorry salesman has made his last sale," Meowth says.
Behind some trees, the swindler was trying to get some kids to fall for his scam until Mew and the others arrived on the scene.
"Yep. That's him alright," Mew says.
"Let's expose that phoney," Zinnia says.
Mew turns to Brock, "Brock, shall we do the honors?"
"I have an idea on how to do it," Brock says.
Brock walks away while the salesman continues his pitch, but Brock soon comes to a stop behind a tree with Mudkip on his shoulder.
Brock whispers to Mudkip, "Mudkip, hit that Feebas with a Water Gun, but not too heavy."
Mudkip performs the attack and reveals the Magikarp beneath the disguise as the salesman continues.
Mew then approaches, "Excuse me sir, what happened to the color of that Feebas?" and sounding very stern.
"Why, nothing a little paint can't fix. You see…" The salesman says and turns to look at his "Feebas" and realizes his cover was blown.
"Excuse us, that's a Magikarp, not a Feebas," May says.
"It's bad enough for you to be selling Magikarps, but now you're selling Magikarps pretending to be Feebas," Mew says sternly.
In a panic, the salesman stuffs his Magikarp into a bag, "Thank you for your time," and tries to run away.
But Mew grabs him on the back of the shirt, "Not so fast!"
"Yeah? What do you want?" The salesman questions.
"Is it true that you traded that fake Feebas for a pearl of a Spoink?" Zinnia questions.
"We want it back now," May says.
"It belongs to Spoink," Jen says.
Spoink confirms and asking for it back
Nervously, the Salesman says, "I, don't know, what you mean."
"That pearl was stolen by three crooks called Team Rocket," Brock says.
"They told us everything," Zinnia adds.
"Wait! You're wrong. I don't know about any pearls!" The salesman panics, trying to run, but Mew is holding him by the shirt.
Suddenly, a smoke bomb drops.
I'm getting too old for this," The salesman panics.
And with that, Team Rocket performs their motto.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble cause you're never too old.
Meowth:
We're cuttin dis one short.
"Team Rocket!" The group call out.
"No one scams us and gets away with it!" Jessie shouts.
"Here's your Magikarp!" James says and tosses the Magikarp back to the salesman.
Spoink then uses Psychic to put the Magikarp on its head.
Zinnia shrugs her shoulders, "Now you're taking this a little too far."
"That's not even a round object," May says and collapses.
Spoink then falls asleep.
"What happened to Spoink?" Molly asks worriedly.
"I think Spoink is sick," Max says.
"It's because Spoink has been without its pearl for a while," Mew says.
Then grabs the bag, "Give Spoink back its pearl or else."
"Let go of my bag!" The salesman shouts.
Tomo does the same, "Give it up!"
"YOU give it up!" The salesman cries out.
Suddenly, the bag rips and the pearl flies out and lands in Meowth's paws.
"Hey, tanks, twoip," Meowth says.
"Yay!" Jessie cheers.
"You shouldn't have," James says.
"That's not yours! Give it back!" Tomo says.
"All's fair in love and pearl," Jessie says. Then calls out, "So, Dustox, show some love!"
Dustox comes out.
Mew calls out, "Torkoal, go!"
And Torkoal comes out of the Pokeball, and blows out smoke.
Jessie calls out, "Dustox, Poison Sting!"
Dustox fires the attack.
Mew calls out, "Torkoal, Iron Defense!"
Torkoal ducks into his shell and the attack bounces off.
"Flamethrower!" Mew calls out.
Torkoal fires the attack, nailing Dustox.
"Cacnea, go!" James calls out.
Cacnea comes out, but hugs James instead)
"You pain in the neck! Needle Arm, now!" James cries out.
Cacnea lets go and throws the attack.
"Iron Defense!" Mew calls out.
Torkoal performs the attack again, and Cancean ends up getting bounced back.
Mew then calls out, "Now, Body Slam!"
And Torkal body slams Cacnea to the ground.
Jessie calls out, "Dustox, Psybeam, go!"
Dustox performs the attack and nails Torkoal.
Brock then calls out "Mudkip, Water Gun!"
Mudkip fires the attack and it's a direct hit.
Meanwhile, the salesman backs away, "Now, to take my leave. See ya!" And runs off.
James calls out, "Cacnea, Needle Arm again!"
Cacnea winds up for the attack.
"Dodge it, Torkoal!" Mew calls out.
Torkoal does it.
Then Mew calls out, "Now Overhead!"
Torkoal then fires the attack and it's a direct hit. It sends Cacnea flying right into Meowth, who ends up dropping the pearl as a result.
Max then catches the pearl, "Got it!" And places it on Spoink's head, "Alright, time to put this pearl back where it belongs, on Spoink's head."
As soon as Spoink and the pearl are reunited, Spoink wakes up,
"Feel better already, huh?" Tomo asks.
Spoink then proceeds to fire a Confuse Ray at both Cacnea and Dustox.
"Spoink is using Confuse Ray," Mew says.
Spoink then levitates Team Rocket up with Psychic.
"What's going on?!" Team Rocket panics.
A psychic shocker, that's what!" Max calls out.
Spoink then spins around and sends the wind right at Team Rocket to blow them as far as possible.
"I don't recall ever feeling THAT attack before!" James panics.
"We wanted someting new, well we got it for sure!" Meowth adds.
"The boss should be very proud!" Jessie adds with sarcasm.
"Wobbuffet!" (You said it!) Wobbuffet says.
Team Rocket cries out, "But we're still blasting off again!"
Back to Mew and the others, "Spoink, your attacks were awesome!"
"And super strong!" May agrees.
Sponk feels pleased.
Zinnia notices, "Hold on, where did that salesman go?"
Everyone looks around and sees he's right.
"I bet he's used to making quick getaways," Brock says.
"That's okay. At least we got Spoink's pearl back," Mew says.
"That's what really counts, right?" May says.
"Torkoal," (That's right.) Torkoal says.
Spoink happily agrees.
Later that evening….
"Take care, Spoink," Jen says.
"Amaura," (Best of luck.) Amaura says.
"Yeah. And keep that pearl where it belongs," May says.
"On that head of yours, "Max says.
Spoink nods and happily thanks them. Then hops away with glee.
Mew turns to the others, "Well, time for us to hit the road, too."
Everyone agrees before they all hit the road.
After recovering the pearl and guaranteeing its safety on top of Spoink's head, Mew and her friends once again return their attention to the journey ahead. For Mew, that means one thing; Fortree City, and their next gym battle.
