I watch Veronica walk away. I feel something that feels like I have known her forever. But that's not possible, I just met her. I started walking to my apartment. Ronnie is amazing, but she can never know my secret. I get to my apartment, and my sister is asleep on the couch. I gently shake her awake. "Hey, Leia. Wake up. I'm home." She wakes up and smiles when she sees me. "Hey, baby sis. How was your nap?" "Meh. It could've been better. How was work, Jason?" "It was good. And you know the girl that I have been crushing on?" "Yeah...?" "Well, I 'accidentally' bumped into her while she was heading out of the library. We got talking, and it turns out that we both have a crush on each other. Her name is Veronica, and we are going on a date in a few days." Leia is still trying to wake up, but after a minute, she says, "Wow, Jason! That's great! Oh man, I wish I could meet her. She sounds amazing." "She is. And you will meet her one day. But for now, what should we do for dinner?" I think about Ronnie's smile and laugh as I wait for Leia to make up her mind on what to do for dinner. "How about we go get some Chicken Nuggets?" "Sounds great, Leia. Let's go." We head for McDonald's.
