A few months had gone by since Saku met and became fast friends with Senku, Taiju, and Yuzuriha. Saku helped Senku with various different science-related things, and in her free time: She practiced training her magic.

The carmel-haired sorceress was out collecting some firewood when she found something, or, more specifically , someone, petrified: Incased in stone, and slightly obscured by low-hanging vines.

Eyes growing to the size of dinner plates, the young cardcaptor quickly dropped the firewood she'd previously gathered just a few minutes prier, and hastily dashed through the woods, heading back to their campsight.

"Senku! Senku! Hey, Senku! I found something in the woods while gathering firewood!" Sakura yelled for the older scientist as she raced into the clearing, her breaths coming in sharp gasps. "I'm ten billion percent certain it's another person who was also petrified in stone just as the four of us were!"

Senku's head shot up from the table he'd been standing over, and his ruby-red eyes instantly flashed with a handful of different emotions as the Carmel-haired cardcaptor came skidding to a hault in front of the make-shift science lab's entryway.

"Woah! Woah! Woah! Slow down, Sakura-san. Take a few deep breaths before you pass out from lack of oxygen!" the ruby-eyed scientist gently admonished the girl, as he put both of his hands on her still shaking shoulders.

Doing as the older scientist had instructed, the young cardcaptor took a few deep breaths to calm her still raceing heart. Once her breathing had returned to a relatively normal rhythm: Saku began speaking again.

"I need you to come with me, Senku-chan! And bring the Revival Fluid we made yesterday with you! I found someone in the woods, one I think we should revive as soon as possible." Senku quickly nodded his head before he turned back around and raced into the lab. He came back shortly afterwords with the revival fluid in hand.

Wasting no time at all: The emerald-eyed female science user hastily grabbed ahold of the older boy's wrist. "C'mon, Senku-chan! We gotta hurry! I don't want to risk any creatures attacking this person before we have a chance to revive them from the stone!"

The two science users quickened their pace, dashing threw the undergroath, before finally: They spotted a flash of dark gray stone.

Skidding to a halt near the base of a tall oak tree, Senku crouched to the forest floor so he could be more eye-level with the person incased in stone. After a moment or two of hesitation, he carefully, yet swiftly, poured some of the revival fluid over the young man trapped within the stone.

...

The first breath after being de-petrified hurt. Senku had explained that the lungs never fully deflated while breathing, so when they lost all their air in the petrification process, refilling them for the first time was like trying to move a heavy rock by blowing into a cloth sack trapped underneath it.

Ukyo Saionji was terrified. Yes, he said it! The sonar expert was compleatly, absolutely, terrified. He wasn't sure what the hell was happening.

The sonar expert took notice of the two figures crouched fairly close by.

The one sitting beside him was a young girl: About 12 or 13 with emerald green eyes and carmel-brown hair. The second was a boy about 18 or 19 with gravity-defying white-and-green hair and ruby-red eyes.

Ukyo was drawn in by the carmel-haired girl. Her emerald-green eyes were captivating, and made the sonar expert feel a strange streak of protectiveness bubble up from inside of his very soul.

Sakura smiled sweetly at Ukyo. "So, what'z your name?"

Ukyo gave the Card Mistress a small, hesitant smile. "Ukyo. My name's Ukyo." Ukyo replied in a soft voice. "I'm Saionji Ukyo."

"What's your name?" the archer softly asked her.

Sakura's emerald orbs glinted in the light of the setting sun, and she leaned forward to be more level with Ukyo.

"Sakura. My name's Sakura." Sakura replied softly. "I'm Kinomoto Sakura."
