I notice Jason looking at me, surprised. "Hey Jason. How are you?" "I… I've been better. How are you?" I smile and wrap my arms around his neck. "I missed you." He pulls me by my waist and pulls me closer. He kisses me. I pull him closer and closer. After a while, we stop kissing and start panting. "I missed you, too, Ronnie. And I want to see you tonight." I look up at him and smile. "I would like that." He smiles back at me and puts his forehead against mine. "Good." I quickly realized the time. "I need to get to school. I'll see you here later today." I give Jason a quick kiss, "Bye," and I leave. I get into my car and drive to school. When the bell rings, I end up being five minutes early, and I notice Leia, never knowing that she was in my class until now. I look at her, surprised. "Hey Vee! Come sit with me!" I walk and sit next to her. "Aren't you too young to be in a Senior class?" "Yeah, but I'm pretty smart that I skipped a few grades." She's smiling at me, and I don't know what to say, "Wow. That's awesome." We start talking about her life and mine, and she brings up the name Erika. "Who's Erika?" I notice her facial expression, and she looks like she is angry, upset, about to cry, and… Fear. "Leia. Whatever is going on, you know you can tell me. I am here to help you." She takes a few deep breaths before she tells me. "She… She is my… Mom. She left when I was five years old. Jason has been taking care of me since then. It has been 10 years since I last saw her. I'm fifteen years old now, and she wants to be a part of my life. Jason wants to see her. Turns out that she got into deep stuff and needs help. She's going to be living with us, for I don't know how long." I nod my head to what Leia is saying,g and after processing the information, after a minute, I say, "I am sorry. If you want, you can come live with me until she leaves." I notice the look of longing in her face as she looks down at the ground. "N-No… I think I'll be fine, but if I do need anything, can I please come over?" "Yes, sweet girl, you can." She smiles at me, and the teacher comes in and starts the class.
