Chapter 13. Resolve

(With Naruto)

Daybreak was just slowly rising over the City of Metropolis, but the entire area was already bustling with pedestrians on the sidewalks and cars in the streets. Meanwhile Naruto who was fully dressed in his Black Fox uniform was overlooking the city from a high vantage point concealed in shadows.

"This place is a lot more bright and cheerful compared to Gotham." The voice of Artemis commented over the team's comlink.

Jason scoffed through the comlink. "Well that's because the big man in blue runs his city a little differently than Bruce. Going off hope instead of fear makes a difference."

Naruto rolled his eyes and touched his communicator. "You can't blame Uncle Bruce for how Gotham is. It was dark and depressing before Batman and I'm sure it won't change after Batman is gone. Though I always liked the Gotham vibe. This place just makes me feel nauseous."

Terra giggled at her twin's remark. "I haven't been back in Gotham since the first time I died. I actually miss it a little bit." Terra admitted honestly, which caused everyone to hear a sigh from Shikamaru.

"Are all people from Gotham troublesome or just you four?" The genius asked in an annoyed voice. "Lets focus less on the sights and more on finding where Ivo's lab is. Has anyone found anything so far?"

Jason spoke up first. "Negative, but I'm going to check a few contacts of mine in the city. I'm sure someone knows where the doctor is operating these days."

"That's a good start, but I'm using a few gadgets I created to scan for any high energy outputs or strange readings. After all, Ivo is a robotics expert turned villain. I'm sure where he is hiding has a few signs that give him away. It's just a matter of knowing what to look for." Shikamaru explained.

"Not bad, I'll use my powers to do a seismic sweep of the city and see if I can find any hidden safe houses that aren't a part of the city's schematics." Terra declared.

Artemis blew out some air from her mouth. "Well I guess I'll go shake down some thugs around warehouses in the city. If this Ivo guy has a lab he will need supplies and I'm sure someone in the city gets him what he needs."

"In that case I'll do a sweep of the city and get a good lay of the area and if possible set up a few traps just in case we get caught up with the big man in blue himself." Naruto began in a matter of fact tone. "Just make sure to make contact if you find any leads or trouble."

"Understood." The team replied back in unison before the team's communication went silent. Leaving Naruto alone with his own thoughts and the sounds of the city below.

"I really don't like being back here." Naruto mumbled to no one except himself, as his body got chills and his mind received brief flashbacks of his first kill. "Which is why I should avoid that part of town and get this mission over with."

Grabbing his bow, Naruto drew back an arrow and shot a line into a building before taking a leap and swinging away from his prior position. Then with speed and grace he continued to move from building to building, while staying completely hidden despite the rather bright and exposed scenery around him.

(With Raven)

Dressed in her civilian clothing, which Raven used to disguise herself when going on dates with Naruto. The young superhero teenager slowly made her way to a rather small and secluded outdoor cafe, which was tucked behind an alleyway within the city. This was of course the meeting place that Harley had placed for their lunch date and couldn't have been more perfect. Considering the venue was nice, but concealed enough so nobody would catch the two together. Especially if Harley took a page from Raven's book and dressed in a way to hide who she really was.

Unfortunately as a familiar voice called out, any hope Raven had of not being affiliated with a wanted criminal was shattered.

"Doll over here! We saved you a seat!" The perky and upbeat voice of her boyfriend's mother yelled loudly, while she watched the energetic woman motion to an empty seat right by her side. However, by far the most shocking thing was that Harley was currently being accompanied by none other than.

"Poison Ivy?" Raven mumbled in pure confusion, as she looked directly at the green haired woman sipping on a cup of coffee.

"Well if it isn't one of the little Teen Titans. Fancy running into you here." The plant based super villain chuckled, while Harley giggled and waved the woman off.

"Now don't you two go causing a scene! After all, this place has a rule about that sort of thing since it's one of the few places in this city that serves criminals like myself." The Crime Queen of Gotham began, while holding her hands out to an open chair. "So come and sit with us, doll!"

Raven was cautious and slowly eyed the villain before taking her seat. "You know I should report you to my team after that stunt you pulled recently. You are a wanted villain after all."

Said stunt was when Poison Ivy attacked and destroyed a local chemical plant within Jump City. This of course caused a scuffle between the Teen Titans and Poison Ivy, which ended in the criminals escape. However, what Raven didn't know was that attack was the distraction Naruto's team created to steal Terra's body back.

"I'm an eco-terrorist hun, I mean do you know the chemicals those dick bags were pumping into the nearby ecosystem? You should be thankful that I stopped in town and decided to put a stop to them."

"That doesn't excuse your actions. There are plenty of nonviolent ways to achieve protecting the planet, but honestly I'm sick of debating morals with criminals. So I really should just arrest you and save myself the headache."

Harley giggled and patted Raven on the lap. "Oh now don't go and be a buzzkill doll! Besides, Ivy is my best friend! Me and her go way back to my days before I became a big shot criminal!"

Raven looked mildly interested and gazed at the mother of her boyfriend with her brow raised. "And how exactly did that friendship form? I've only ever heard of your criminal actions."

Harley genuinely smiled and seemed to gaze off into the distance, while her persona of Harley Quinn dropped. An action that caught Raven off guard.

"Before I met my husband I was actually a very successful psychiatrist and worked in the mental ward of Arkham Asylum." Harley explained in a rather well put together tone, which sounded professional and confident. Completely unlike the woman's unhinged and quirky self. "But after I got married to Minato and got pregnant with my twins, I decided to retire early."

"Which was a shame." Ivy spoke up, which made Raven look at the green skinned criminal. "After all, you were the only doctor in that shit hole that got through to me. However, I understood why you decided to retire in the first place. Arkham is a death trap full of dangerous people. You were bound to get in harm's way and you were afraid of leaving your children without a mother."

Harley nodded with a small yet hollow laugh. "But even with that foresight my family still managed to get completely broken. Just goes to show some things are out of your control."

"Yeah I guess you're right." Raven mumbled softly, while she felt sadness radiating off the woman. "I actually did some research into the incident you and Naruto went through. He never told me the smaller and dark details, but from what I found on my own. I can sympathize with some of the actions you took. Especially a majority of the crimes you committed after the incident."

Harley slightly hummed to herself and looked over to Raven. "So you've been researching me, have ya?" The crime queen asked, as her persona of Harley Quinn was back in full swing. "So then you know a majority of my crimes for the most part consisted of killing child rapists, sex traffickers and other people who have harmed families in the way mine has been harmed."

Raven nodded and turned to Poison Ivy. "I also know in your early years and even up till now you've done several crimes with Poison Ivy."

The green skinned villain smirked. "What can I say? Me and Harls are best friends for life. The moment I heard about her family I helped her in anyway I could. After all, like I said back before her family was taken from her she helped me a lot."

"I can see that and that's why out of respect for Harley I won't try to arrest you today." Raven replied back in a firm tone, while narrowing her eyes. "But cause more problems in my city or hurt innocent people and I won't hesitate to stop you."

"Do whatever you like, but you seem to know your stuff about me and Harls." Poison Ivy began with a slight smirk. "However, I would like to know more about you and I'm sure Harls shares that desire. So tell me kid, have you and my Godson been getting it on? Please tell me that you at least use protection."

Raven stammered and turned bright red, as the woman asked an extremely personal question. One that Raven wasn't expecting, especially in front of Harley. Who Raven glanced at and shuddered as she saw the borderline murderous gaze she was getting from the Crime Queen of Gotham. However, surprisingly enough that anger filled gaze was quickly turned to Poison Ivy.

"Iv how dare you ask her such a personal question!" Harley began loudly, while she pointed at the teen in question. This of course made Raven feel slightly better as she felt like the woman was protecting her, but she wasn't ready for the woman's follow up. "I was going to ask her that question! So tell me Raven, are you fucking my precious baby boy!?"

Raven quickly held her hands up and tried to defend herself, but the girl was a nervous wreck. "N-no me and Naruto are taking things slow! I promise Harley. Me and Naruto are not having any kind of sex!"

"Well why the fuck not? I want grandkids to spoil damnit!" Harley snapped back, which made Raven's eyes grow wide as the criminal reached out and grabbed her hand. "I forbid anytype of protected sex!"

"Really Harls?" Poison Ivy asked in an exhausted voice. "You're against her using protection, but all for her sleeping with you son."

"As long as I get cute grandkids!" Harley replied simply, as she locked eyes with Raven. "So do whatever you gotta do doll. Wrap your legs around him, poke holes in condoms, koala bear that boy! Anything that gets me some cute babies to love on!"

"You're the exact opposite of a normal mother." Poison Ivy grumbled, while she shook her head. "I mean look at the poor girl. You've embarrassed her half to death."

"Ah she will be fine!" Harley replied in a casual voice, while she folded her arms and huffed. "I on the other hand want grandkids before I'm thirty!"

"Harls your way. . . You know what, I'm not even gonna go there."

Harley lifted her brow and huffed, as she knew the woman was about to elaborate her actual age. "Yeah you best not, but let's change the subject!" The Crime Queen began, as she smiled at Raven's direction. "You seemed pretty down last night. So why don't you tell me what made you so upset?"

Raven sighed and closed her eyes. "I've been having a lot of bad dreams recently and they are just slowly getting to me." The girl then quickly faked a smile and waved her hand around. "But it's nothing really, I don't want to waste your time with my silly dreams."

Harley shook her head and groaned. "Doll I've said this a million times, but I was a psychiatrist for the most insane criminals in Gotham. I'm actually professionally certified to listen to all your problems."

"Didn't all your certifications get revoked?"

Snapping her gaze to her green skinned friend, Harley brought a finger to her lip. "Hush you!" The woman then moved her eyes to the hero. "And you don't listen to her. She's literally insane."

Raven laughed and shook her head, as she found Harley's personality rather enjoyable. "I'm sure you're more than qualified to help me, but it's nothing really."

"Doll you don't know how many times I've heard that line. Trust me when I say it's always something."

Raven sighed, her boyfriend's mother just had to be a former psychiatrist who liked to meddle in everything. "I just have some bad dreams about my Father. Plus with all the stress revolving around my team, I just need Naruto more than usual."

"I see, well can I give you some advice then?" Harley began in a low and soft voice, while she reached out and grabbed Raven's hands with her own.

The hooded hero nodded, as she looked directly into the woman's eyes. Seeing the kind and caring look the woman had, which filled Raven with optimism.

"I would love some advice."

Harley suddenly grinned with a look that made Poison Ivy roll her eyes.

"Sleep with my son." The Crime Queen began in a stern voice, which made Raven blush and sink into her chair. "And get knocked up while you're at it!"

"Yeah I'll apologize for harls kid, she used to be the best, but now." The green skinned criminal twirled her finger around her head. "She's got a few screws loose."

"What are you talking about? If Raven gets pregnant she gets less hero time and more time with my puddin! Who will help her more than I ever could with her issues." Harley explained in a rather matter of fact tone, which made Poison Ivy scoff.

"So that's why you want her to get pregnant?"

"Well I also want cute ass grandbabies, but that's just a bonus!"

Hearing the exchange Raven merely shook her head, it wasn't the help she needed. However, it was a helpful distraction that did brighten her day. "I'll think about it Harley."

"Doll you call me mom and you better! I got so many cute baby names to tell you. Actually let me get my list!"

Watching Harley frantically dig into a small purse, Raven couldn't help herself from lightly giggling. Her life had definitely grown more complicated over these last few months, but she wouldn't change it if she could.

(With Naruto)

Jumping off the top of a building, Naruto used an arrow to anchor himself against a wall and swung into an alleyway with ease. Then by walking forward, Naruto scowled as he tried to think of any possible methods he could use to find Ivo.

"I really want to get this mission over with." The assassin mumbled to himself as he slowly rounded a corner. "I don't want to be in this city more than I have to b-. . ."

Losing his words and freezing in place, Naruto was in complete shock. Since he had come into a small courtyard tucked back behind the building he had swung off. Yet it wasn't the vibrant flowers or wooden benches sheltered under the shade of a large oak that left the blond in such a state. The true culprit behind Naruto's shock was the large bronze statue that was standing proudly before the assassin. A statue that perfectly immortalized two individuals that Naruto had seen in his nightmares for years. Two individuals who just so happened to be the first two people Naruto had ever killed.

"Sakura." The young assassin mumbled softly, while his hands glided along the inscription that honored the mother and daughter duo he had slain. "You didn't deserve to die and I'm sorry."

Naruto balled his fist and pressed his knuckle down onto the statue. "But to hunt the monsters that killed my Father, I had to become a monster myself. I was never meant to be the hero you thought I was. However, thanks to you I have a resolve to do whatever is necessary to avenge my Father. . ."

"Naruto, are you there?"

Hearing the voice of Jason through his ear piece, Naruto quickly composed himself and brought a hand to his ear.

"Have you found something?"

Jason let a small chuckle escape his lips. "You know it, I'm sending you the location to Ivo's lab right now."

A location coming through on a small device on Naruto's wrist, the blond nodded. "Alright I'll be there shortly to meet up with everyone."

"Roger that leader."

Turning his back and walking away, Naruto drew his bow and aimed an arrow high up into a building. Yet just before the blond could take his shot a voice called out to him.

"I still think you can be a hero."

Snapping around and aiming his bow at the voice, Naruto was confused to find no one around. This of course made Naruto shake his head and lower his bow.

"Am I losing it?" The blond mumbled to himself, while he waited in silence. Yet after a moment of standing still Naruto turned around once more and took off towards Ivo's lab.

(With Dr. Ivo)

His fingers gliding across his keyboard as his eyes tracked through the sea of data cascading down his monitor. Doctor Anthony Ivo merely smirked within the safety of his personal lab, which was a nice secluded warehouse right in the middle of Metropolis. Though taking a swerve within his chair, the ingenious roboticist looked over to the large preservation tank that housed his crowning achievement.

"The android has survived the preliminary tests and his cells are showing incredible absorption capabilities." Ivo then stood from his chair and walked closer to the tank. "The Amazo has really exceeded my expectations, as he has taken great strides in accepting the DNA of Superman, Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman. Soon with a few more samples my creations will be near unstoppa-. . ."

A pain suddenly making the man stop mid speech, Ivo merely looked down to the sharp pain that was filling his chest. Finding an arrow had been precisely shot directly into his heart, making the man stumble backwards against a few machines. Then with wide eyes he saw five unfamiliar masked people making themselves known.

"Red Hood I want you and Vixen to rig this place to explode, Shadowman grab all the data you can find." Naruto began in his persona of the Black Fox.

Nodding without question the three teens maneuvered through the small base to complete their tasks. Terra on the other hand walked up to her brother and joined his side.

"What should I be doing?"

Glancing at his twin, Naruto looked at Terra who was dressed in a uniform identical to the one he wore. With the key difference being Terra's mask was a dark yellow color.

"Make a large hole with your powers and drop Ivo inside before covering it up." Naruto instructed as he looked around the lab. "It's best to hide the body to cover our tracks as much as possible."

Looking at the dead Ivo covered in his own blood, Terra felt a shiver down her spine. She had heard it plenty of times before, but now she had actually seen her brother kill someone so casually before her, which made her realize how different her brother was. In fact it was almost reminiscent of working for Slade, which made Terra feel sick. However, Naruto was her brother and she loved him dearly. So she had to swallow those feelings and do whatever she could to support and help him.

"I'll have it done." Terra mumbled as she began to use her powers to dig a hole to drop Ivo within.

Nodding with a pleased expression, Naruto walked over to Shikamaru and leaned over the teen. Watching as he scanned through Ivo's personal computer. "How much longer?"

"Not long, but we have a problem."

Not liking the tone of his teammate's voice, Naruto narrowed his eyes under his mask. "Define what you mean by problem."

Rapidly typing away on a keyboard, Shikamaru jerked a thumb over his shoulder. "You see the big containment tank with the large bastard inside?"

Glancing over his shoulder, Naruto took notice of the individual floating inside the tank. "Yeah. What of it?"

"That's Ivo's crowning achievement according to his records and most likely what Slade is interested in." Shikamaru explained as he turned around and held his hand out. "The Amazo Android, a creation with the DNA of several members of the Justice League. Giving the Amazo their traits along with the capability to copy more powers and abilities from whoever it comes in contact with."

"Well now we know why Slade wants Ivo dead along with his research in hand. So let's destroy this Amazo while we are here and alter the data so Slade won't get his hands on one."

"That's a solid plan, but blowing this place up won't exactly destroy this android. He has Superman's DNA, he won't go down easily. All we would be doing is letting this thing free."

"Well if it's got Superman's DNA." Naruto began as he drew his kryptonite tipped sword. "I'm sure it's got the same weakness."

"That's a plausible theory, but hear me out." Shikamaru began as he watched Naruto approach the Amazo Android. "How about we just leave the Android designed to fight the entire Justice League alone?"

Scoffing and twisting his body around to face Shikamaru, Naruto tightly gripped his sword. "Shika, you worry too much."

"Identification, Dr. Ivo vitals are non-responsive. Initiating protocol 17."

Looking up at the intercom system of the lab, Naruto lifted his brow. "Huh?"

Hearing glass crack and an alarm starting to sound off, Shikamaru merely mumbled under his breath. "Troublesome."

"Containment override." The automated system declared as the Amazo shot out of its tank and barreled into Naruto's back. Tackling the assassin straight through the lab's walls. Making the blond's sword fall to the ground from the surprise attack.

"Naruto!" Terra screamed in worry as she excavated a slab of rock from beneath her and flew after her twin.

"Fuck." Jason yelled as he clicked a charge and started the timer. "Just start your charges Artemis, we gotta help Naruto."

Nodding her head and tossing her charges down, she ran towards the hole in the wall with Jason. The latter of whom grabbed Naruto's sword from the ground.

"This is going to turn bad quickly." Shikamaru groaned as he finished collecting Ivo's data and ran after his team.

(Titans Tower)

The doors to the Titan's main living room sliding open, Raven slowly made her way into the space to find her teammates already taking up a majority of the area. Cyborg and Beast Boy were of course lazily watching TV, while Starfire was floating by Robin's side and watching the boy tinker on his utility belt.

"Yo Rae! Welcome back!" Cyborg called out happily, while everyone else turned to look at her.

"Oh friend, you look beautiful! Did you see the boyfriend?" Starfire asked with a beaming smile as she zipped across the room to hug Raven from the side.

"Something like that." Raven mumbled in response as she lightly tapped Starfire with her hand. Signaling to the girl she appreciated the embrace, but also appreciated her space.

"Glad for ya Rae!" Cyborg called back with a large infectious smile. "You gotta bring Naruto to the tower soon! I bet an extra large pizza he would crush BB in some Sumo Slammers!"

Beast Boy laughed at his best friend's attempt to instigate him. "Yeah right man! I may like the dude, but I ain't the three time titan champ for nothing!"

Raven saw the smile on her friend's face, but she knew better. He might not place it on display for everyone, but Raven could tell her green skinned friend was still devastated over Terra's body being stolen. That one fact was why she was still here. It was why she was still a Teen Titan. Since she couldn't leave her friend when he already had enough to worry about.

"You know Beast Boy. The three time titan champion doesn't mean much when it's only you and Cyborg that compete." Raven replied in her usual monotone voice, while a small smirk cracked on her lips. "Plus my boyfriend is a spoiled rich kid. I'm sure he's had plenty of video game experience."

Beast Boy grinned at Raven's words. "Well don't hate me when I show your fancy pants boyfriend up!"

Raven nodded and walked further into the room. "By all means go ahead. I know how arrogant that boy can be. He needs knocked down a few pegs."

Raven passing by Robin didn't look at her leader or even bothered to acknowledge him in any way possible.

"Yo what's this?" Cyborg called out as he looked at his wrist.

The remaining Titans all gave their friend a questioning gaze. Wondering what their friend was distracted by.

"What's up?" Beast Boy asked.

Cyborg pointed to the TV. "Switch to the Daily Planet news channel! You're not gonna believe this."

Flicking the channel each Titan saw the world renowned reporter Lois Lane with microphone in hand as she leaned out of a helicopter high above Metropolis.

"If you're just now tuning in we are above an evolving situation in downtown Metropolis."

The camera shifting away from Lois moved down to an open battleground. Where five masked individuals were fighting a single unfamiliar man.

"As of now there are five unknown individuals fighting with an unknown man. We currently don't know who the aggressor in the situation is, but we will keep you updated as we learn more."

The man dashing forward with incredible speed rushed for one of the people with a black mask. Missing a punch and crushing the ground with a devastating force. The individual with a black mask showing grace and speed bounced off the man's back and shot an arrow into his neck, which only bounced off with no effect.

"No way." Robin gasped as he glared at the screen. "The suit looks slightly different, but those moves. It's definitely Theaelab."

Cyborg arched his brow. "Are you sure Rob?"

"Absolutely. I've been studying his fighting style. That's a move right out of his play book." Robin replied as they watched the man turn to grab Theaelab's leg.

Raven herself felt her heart skip as she watched the black masked individual appear in danger. A sensation that she didn't fully understand.

Yet before he could come close a large boulder slammed into the man and sent him sliding away. This was followed by the camera moving to an individual with a feminine build and yellow mask. Who to the Titans surprise was firing boulder after boulder at the man.

"It appears this is a meta-human brawl and the five unknown individuals are all dressed in identical uniforms with different colors. I can only assume that makes them some sort of team. Let's just hope they are heroes!"

The voice of Lois Lane echoing through the room was ignored by the Titans, as they all looked at the live feed with chills. Each teenager was thinking the same thing as they watched the yellow mask individual fight.

"They fight just like her." Beast Boy gasped with a weakness in his breath.

Robin turning to Beast Boy frowned. "I know what you're thinking man, but it can't be her. It's just a coincidence."

Raven feeling the emotions coming off her friend knew Robin was lying through his teeth. Yet she couldn't blame her leader for that, as she would do the same.

"Yeah BB think. Not every speedster is the Flash and not every strong guy is Superman!" Cyborg added as he tried to cheer his friend up.

"Yeah you're right." Beast Boy mumbled in a voice that didn't sound convinced.

The Titans, all shocked, watched as the man threw a rock not at the five masked individuals, but instead hurled it at the helicopter with Lois Lane.

"Incoming! We need to move!" Lois cried as the large boulder drew closer, but with a crack of thunder the boulder exploded. Leaving the camera focused on the person with a black mask. Who's extended hand was crackling with leftover lightning.

"Well that's something." Cyborg began as he watched the man with the black mask rush back into combat. "Guess that eliminates him from being our little assassin. Because that was a meta power."

"Unless Theaelab has been hiding his powers from us." Robin muttered bitterly.

Raven huffed and crossed her arms. "Let's hope not. He out maneuvered us without any powers. So that would insinuate he was toying with us."

"That would be a scary thought. Especially when it seems this person has their own team." Starfire chimed in.

The Titans all watched as the five masked individuals fought against the unknown man. Noticing one individual had some sort of shadow manipulation powers, while another used a bow much like the black masked person. Yet the one with a red mask and dual pistols grabbed Robin's attention.

Especially when the man they were fighting shot a tether line out of his hand. Yet the person with the red mask who was in mid air at the time effortlessly holstered a pistol, grabbed a sword that was magnetized to his hip and sliced the line before the tension could pull him.

Cyborg watching this whistled at the group. "Man they are good."

"More than good." Robin began as he felt his mind going into overdrive. "I don't think you realize how much skill that move takes to pull off. That guy in the red mask has some serious training."

Beast Boy looked at his leader with confusion. "You sound upset?"

Robin shadowed the red masked individuals slicing movements with his own R shaped projectile. "They are all skilled, but the ones with the red and black mask. They are in a league all their own. I can't stress enough how hard some of their movements are. Do we have any data on any of these people?"

Cyborg frowned. "Not to my knowledge, but we could cross reference our database later."

Robin nodded. "That's a start, but I'll also tap into the Batcaves archives. It's alarming for people this skilled to come out of nowhere."

Raven listened to her team talk, merely tuned them out, as she found herself completely focused on the battle on the screen. Finding a part of her praying for the safety of the five masked individuals, but most importantly. The one in black.

(With the Outlaws)

"Alright asshole, you wanna keep this up! I'll finish you here and now!" Naruto roared as his body began to spark with electricity and the wind around him began to swirl.

The Amazo, completely unfazed by Naruto's small display of powers, just watched the boy while his limbs slightly coiled back for another attack. An action that made Naruto extend his arm out with electricity already sparking out.

"Chi-. . ." Naruto began before Amazo stopped Naruto by slamming his fist into his stomach. Lifting the blond into the air and completely catching him off guard.

However, despite having the breath taken from his lungs and being lifted off his feet. Naruto quickly displayed his tenacity and experience by balling his fists and slamming them into each side of Amazo's head. Then by drawing as much electricity as he possibly could, Naruto used his fists as conduits to turn himself into a human taser that was currently pumping millions of volts of electricity through Amazo.

"How about that!" Naruto yelled loudly, as he could see the android twitching and showing signs of pain. Unfortunately after a few seconds Amazo recovered enough to punch Naruto away and send the blond soaring away into the air.

Yet at this point Terra had quickly flew by and caught her twin, stopping his momentum and lowering him onto the slab of earth she was flying on.

"So what's the plan exactly?" Terra asked, as she watched Jason and Artemis shoot at Amazo to grab his attention.

"Well we completed our objectives, but I'm assuming this guy won't let us just leave. So we are gonna have to take him down."

"I figured as much. Any ideas of how we do that?"

Standing to his feet and preparing to jump down, Naruto shrugged his shoulders. "We improvise!"

Rolling her eyes from underneath her mask, Terra flew down and followed her twin. Using her powers to sling massive rocks at Amazo while Naruto threw a few bolts of electricity at the Android.

"Yo leader." Jason yelled before throwing the sword in his free hand to Naruto. "Heads up!"

Watching the sword spin in the air, Naruto jumped into the sky and effortlessly caught the weapon. Then landing on his feet Naruto dashed forward at Amazo with his full speed.

"Cover me!" Naruto roared as he got within the Amazo's personal space already ready to strike.

"On it!" Jason and Artemis replied as they focused their bullets and arrows at the Amazo's face. The latter of which just simply used its superhuman resistance to power through the projectiles without taking any damage. Then by slamming two fists into the ground Amazo rippled the ground like a tidal wave. Sending all the Outlaws including the rushing Naruto leaping backwards away from the backlash of rubble and rock being flung around.

"This asshole is getting on my last nerves!" Naruto screamed out as he regained his composure.

"Should we flank him?" Artemis offered as she held her bow drawn with an arrow knocked to fire.

Jason scoffed and reloaded his pistols. "By all means princess, go ahead and try it. Not like I've been trying that already."

"At least I'm offering a strategy!" The archer snapped back bitterly.

A long winded sigh went off through the group's communicators. "Troublesome idiots." Shikamaru mumbled before a net of shadows latched onto Amazo's body. Temporarily immobilizing the massive android with the use of his power. "Finish this already. He's not exactly easy to hold."

Naruto grinned under his mask and flew forward with wind behind his back. His Kryptonite tipped sword held by his side for a decisive ending blow, but just as he was about to strike, Amazo's body shifted.

In a blur, it broke free of the shadows, its eyes glowing with energy as it prepared to retaliate. Naruto's eyes widened as the android's fist rocketed toward him, faster than he could react.

Luckily Shikamaru's shadow pulled Naruto's feet. Sending the teenager onto his back, but avoiding the deadly punch to the head. Unfortunately, Amazo reacted fast. His foot was already raised upwards to stomp down on Naruto's head.

"No!" Terra screamed in horror as she flew forward on a rock. Terrified that she was about to watch her brother get killed.

"Fuck!" Jason growled with his pistols igniting into a fury of bullets.

Naruto himself gritted his teeth and waited for the pain, but before the blow could land, a blue and red blur slammed into Amazo, sending the android skidding across the battlefield.

Naruto blinked, disoriented by the sudden turn of events. Standing where Amazo had been just moments before, cape billowing in the wind, was Superman.

"Need a hand?" The Man of Steel asked, offering Naruto a brief smile before turning his attention to Amazo, who was already rising to its feet, undeterred.

"I see his timing hasn't changed." Jason muttered, holstering his pistols as he stepped up beside Artemis. "About time you showed up!"

Superman's eyes narrowed as he scanned the android. Then he looked down at Naruto's kryptonite tipped sword. "Interesting sword."

Naruto gripped his sword tighter and nodded. "That thing has your powers and your weaknesses. Just trying to even the playing field. Don't take me having this as a threat to you."

Superman raised his brow, while he looked Naruto over.. "Lead painted masks as well?"

Naruto chuckled at the man of steel's quick assessment. "Hey, people wear a mask for a reason, you know. Using x-ray vision to try and peek isn't fair."

Superman laughed and held his fists up. "Well how about I give you kids a hand?"

"By all means be my guest." Naruto replied with a long sigh as he lifted his sword. "Having some help would make this less destructive."

With that, Superman rocketed towards Amazo, slamming into it with a force that shook the ground. The android retaliated, swinging its powerful fists, but Superman dodged with ease, delivering precise blows that cracked its metallic body.

"Keep it distracted!" Naruto shouted to the others. "Superman and I will hit it where it hurts."

Artemis and Jason opened fire from a distance, their projectiles aimed at Amazo's vulnerable joints, while Terra hurled boulders to keep the android off-balance. Shikamaru's shadows stretched across the ground again, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Superman grabbed Amazo by the arm and threw it toward Naruto, who dashed forward with his sword, aiming for the chest. Just as Amazo recovered from Superman's throw, Naruto plunged the kryptonite-tipped blade deep into the android's torso. Finally striking the andoird.

Amazo spasmed violently as its systems began to fail. Sparks flew, and its movements became jerky and uncoordinated.

"This ends now!" Naruto growled, pouring all his remaining energy into the blade. Electricity surged through his hands, amplifying the effects of the kryptonite.

With a final, resounding crack, Amazo collapsed, its body limp and lifeless. The battlefield fell silent, save for the faint hum of energy dissipating from the fallen android.

Naruto exhaled, pulling his sword free by slicing the Amazo in half and watching as the once-unstoppable foe fell defeated at his feet.

"You did good, kid." Superman said, nodding in approval with a hand slightly blocking away his weakness from view. "What's your name?"

Naruto grinned and placed his sword away. "Black Fox. This is my team, the Outlaws."

"Well it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Black Fox. Still I'm curious as to why five young hero's are in my city."

Naruto chuckled at the powerful man. "Well everyone has to make their debut someway. This is just how we made ours."

Jason laughed as he walked over with Artemis and Terra. "I'm just glad we didn't get crushed doing so."

Terra and Artemis both sighed, as their leader and teammate both effortlessly started to weave a lie to the man of steel. Both hoping that their lies wouldn't come back to bite them.

Superman smiled at the group and saw news vans quickly dash onto the scene. A familiar face running out with microphone in hand and a camera following after her.

"Well looks like your day isn't over yet." The caped hero began with a confident laugh. "Time for your spotlight."

Naruto groaned and quickly found a microphone jabbed between himself and Superman. "Lois Lane, Daily Planet! Superman, who are these young heroes with you? Are they a new team you're sponsoring?"

Superman patting Naruto's back slightly pushed the masked boy forward with his strength. "I'm actually meeting them for the first time myself. I believe they call their little team the Outlaws."

Naruto was quiet as Lois moved her eyes to him, but Jason on the other hand wasn't as reserved. He quickly slung an arm around Naruto and chuckled into the microphone.

"That's right! We are the Outlaws! This is our leader Black Fox! I'm Red Hood! The boring dude over there is Shadowman. The uptight girl with a bow is Vixen and the chick who hurls rocks is uhhhhh Geo!"

Terra blinked under her mask, as she really didn't have a proper code name yet. Meanwhile Artemis was practically seething beside her.

"And you're a young team of heroes like the Teen Titans?" Lois asked, which made Jason scoff and Naruto groan on the inside. Since he knew his friend all too well.

"I wouldn't compare us to those chumps. From what I hear they struggle with what little crime they have in Jump City. Honestly I blame their leader. He can be a real Dick."

Lois didn't seem phased by the insult. Instead she pressed the issue. "Are you saying you can do better than the Teen Titans?"

Jason laughed. "Absolutely! You know what? I bet our team could move to Jump City and have that place cleaned up within a month!"

Lois nodded at the claim. "Bold words, but I'd like to see action."

Naruto, smiling on the inside, realized Jason's habit of instigating Robin and his team. Meant the Outlaws now had an easy way to appear in Jump City with no issues. So pushing Jason away Naruto cleared his throat.

"Well Ms. Lane, let the world know. The Outlaws are here and we are setting our sights on Jump City." Naruto declared with a wide grin under his mask as he added. "So move over Titans. Cause real heroes are coming to town."

So here is the next update. Also a little PSA. I've gone through and updated every chapter up till now. I doubt they are clean of mistakes as there is a lot of story, but it should be a better reading experience.
