Episode 7: "Dark Intentions"
[Scene: The Final Hyren transports the Final Dreamers to the cloudy realm of Arderial.]
Final Hyren: Welcome to Arderial, Final Dreamers. This realm holds the next challenge in your quest.
Tony: The clouds here are amazing! I feel like I'm floating.
Edyn: It's so peaceful. But I sense something... off.
Strag: Let's stay alert. We don't know what dangers may lie ahead.
Evu: Remember, keep your wits about you, and watch each other's backs.
[The Final Dreamers take a tour around Arderial when they hear a familiar voice.]
Voice: Tony! Edyn! Strag!
[The trio turns around to find an old friend]
Tony, Edyn, and Strag: Shimmer!
[They run to give her a hug]
Shimmer: Awwww, I've missed you guys so much!
Edyn: We've missed you more. What's been happening?
Shimmer: [grinning] Oh, nothing...EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT I'M NOW ENGAGED
[Shimmer and Edyn fangirl scream]
Tony: Wow, congrats...so who's the idiot?
[Edyn slaps him across the head]
Tony: Ow! I mean, who's the lucky guy?
Shimmer: His name's James. You guys want to meet him?
Strag: Yeah, totally!
Shimmer: OK, come on!
[Shimmer escorts the trio to her place and talks about James and how Arderial has been, with her also stating that there has been trouble brewing but nothing serious.]
Shimmer: So, this is my place. James and I have been settling in quite nicely.
Tony: It's lovely, Shimmer. And congrats on the engagement!
Edyn: Tell us more about James. We want to hear all the juicy details.
Strag: Yeah, and what's been happening in Arderial lately? Anything unusual?
Shimmer: James is great. Arderial has been its usual tranquil self, but lately, there's been a sense of unease in the air. Nothing serious, though.
Tony: Well, we're here now. Maybe we can help if things get dicey.
[When they arrive, James is outside watering cloud plants.]
Shimmer: Hi, honey!
James: Hey, you took your time. [He kisses her on the cheek.]
Shimmer: I want you to meet some friends. Tony, Edyn, and Strag.
[They all say hi.]
Edyn: Wow, he's even more gorgeous than you said.
Shimmer: [giggles] Haha, easy you! He's off-limits, remember?
Edyn: Oh, it's fine. I have other options. [Glancing at Tony]
Tony: Well, I don't know if I'm ready for romance yet.
[The conversation is going well until there's a big explosion coming from outside.]
Tony: Did you hear that?
Edyn: What was that explosion?
Strag: Trouble. I can feel it.
Shimmer: That didn't sound good. Let's check it out!
[Everyone then looks up to see Chur, with a dreamstone stealer in his hand intending to take the dreamstones from the trio.]
Tony: Chur! What are you doing here?
Edyn: And who's that with him?
Strag: Looks like trouble just found us.
Shimmer: We won't let them take our dreamstones without a fight!
James: You can count me in. Let's show them what Arderial's made of!
[Tony, Edyn, Strag, Shimmer and James grab their anamites]
Tony, Edyn and Strag: With this anamite, I imagine...
Tony: Furok!
Edyn: Ugger!
Strag: Freep!
[Furok, Ugger and Freep emerge]
Shimmer: With this anamite, I imagine Shirdor!
[Shirdor emerges]
James: With this anamite I imagine Skyquake!
[Skyquake emerges]
Edyn: Try beating this all-star lineup, Chur!
[Scene: Chur laughs hysterically, calling the lineup a joke, and introduces Magistrate Nimbulo, Arderial's evil leader, along with a Shadow version of Ugger.]
Chur: Hahaha! You think this ragtag team can stand against us?
Tony: We've faced worse than you, Chur.
Edyn: Who's the guy with him?
Strag: That's no ordinary opponent. That's Nimbulo, Arderial's dark Magistrate.
Shimmer: And what's with the Shadow Ugger? This just got serious.
Edyn: Oh, no! The sacrifice prophecy. If we attack a shadow form of our partners, they could get hurt too! I don't know about this.
James: We can't back down now. Arderial is counting on us!
[Edyn instantly worries, letting Tony, Strag, and Shimmer attack]
Edyn: Tony, Strag, Shimmer, attack! I'll handle Chur and Nimbulo.
Tony: Furok, Fusion Blast!
Strag: Freep, Shell Scatter!
Shimmer: Shirdor, Wind Gust!
[All attacks are blocked by Nimbulo and Chur, who order Shadow Ugger to use Dark Root Reach. Shadow Ugger complies, using the attack and trapping Tony in its grasp.]
Tony: I can't break free!
Edyn: Tony! Hang on, I'm coming!
Strag: We need to break that hold on him!
Shimmer: Ugger, we need your help!
James: We can't let them win!
[Tony cries for help, causing Edyn and Ugger to attack Shadow Ugger.]
Tony: HELP
Edyn: TONY, NO!
[Suddenly, Edyn and Ugger were engulfed by a bright light that caused everyone to stop attacking.]
Strag: No way. Did she just...
Nimbulo: No, Th-this can't be!
Chur: Not again!
[Edyn emerges in her silvery green Dream Armour and a leaf-shaped lance with Ugger's face at the front]
Ugger: No way, this Dream Armour is sick!
Edyn: And now let's finish these punks off!
[Edyn then jumps in the air and plants her lance at the ground, causing several roots to shoot up and send Chur, Nimbulo, and Shadow Ugger high into the sky.]
Chur, Nimbulo, and Shadow Ugger: THIS ISN'T OVER!
Tony: Edyn, thank you for saving me.
Edyn: Your…..wel- [she then faints]
Strag: She's exhausted. Let's get her home.
Shimmer: We'll take care of her. She needs rest.
Tony: Yeah, let's get her back. She's been through a lot today.
Strag: Don't worry, Edyn. We've got you.
Shimmer: Let's go, Tony. We'll make sure she's okay.
[Back in Naroom, Edyn is resting in her bed, and Tony is there with her.]
Tony: You feeling better, Edyn?
Edyn: Yeah, a little. Still have some energy left.
Tony: Guess being born in the Moonlands has its advantages.
Edyn: Yeah, but controlling Dream Creatures and relics. I don't know how I would be able to do that.
Tony: Haha, thanks. I appreciate it.
[A moment of silence then fell in the room]
Edyn: Tony, there's something I have to tell you.
Tony: What?
Edyn: When you were sleeping, I came to check on you, and I said something. [Blushing]
Tony: And what was it?
Edyn: That I really like you and I want to be with you. [Her face turning redder]
Tony: [Also blushes] Really? You like me?
Edyn: Yeah, I do.
[As silence fell among them again, they moved closer and closer until they started to kiss]
Shimmer: Hey, Tony, how's Edyn do- [As she walked in on Tony and Edyn kissing]
[Tony and Edyn blush]
Strag: Haha, finally, it happened. Anyway, Orwin wants to speak with all of us. You coming?
Tony: We'll be there in a sec.
[As Shimmer and Strag leave, silence falls again]
Tony: Edyn?
Edyn: Yeah?
Tony: If we do, you know, start dating, promise me it won't affect the team.
Edyn: I promise it won't. [Kissing him on the cheek] Now come on! I bet Orwin and Spencer would want to hear this news.
[The pair laugh as they leave the room, ending the episode]Top of Form
