Episode 8 "Two Magi in Love"

[The scene opens with Tony, Edyn, Strag, and Shimmer downstairs with Orwin and Spencer.]

Orwin: How are you feeling, Edyn?

Edyn: Much better. [still holding Tony's hand]

Spencer: Finally told each other how you feel, huh?

Tony: [smiling] Yeah.

Shimmer: Finally! [giggling]

[Orwin explains the threat of Chur and Nimbulo joining forces and how they could massively assist Agram, wherever he is. He then announces that Shimmer will join them on their mission to retrieve the dreamstones.]

Orwin: There's a dire threat looming over the Moonlands. Chur and Nimbulo, if allied, could become formidable allies for Agram.

Shimmer: What can we do to stop them?

Orwin: We must retrieve the dreamstones before they do. And that's why Shimmer, I'm assigning you to accompany the Final Dreamers on this mission.

Shimmer: I'm ready. Let's do this.

[Since Edyn is recovering, Tony takes her to the woods.]

Tony: [nervously blushing] So...uh...you at 100%...yet?

Edyn: [realizes his nervousness] Uh, are you OK? [giggling]

Tony: Pffft, yeah I'm fine!

Edyn: [raising her eyebrows] I know you're lying, Tony.

Tony: Ok, fine. It's not that I hate it, but us being together, doesn't that feel a little weird?

Edyn: I'll admit, it is, but I've known and trusted you my whole life. Plus you're kinda good looking I guess.

Tony: Oh really? [kissing her cheek]

Edyn: Get off! [laughing and cuddling Tony]

[Meanwhile, back at the library, Strag was searching for books that could help in the mission of defeating the Nightmare Creatures. Orwin then tells Strag that he and Freep must transform into their Dream Armour to stand any chance.]

Strag: There must be something in these books that can help us.

Orwin: Strag, there's something important you need to understand. To stand against the Nightmare Creatures, you'll need your Dream Armour.

Strag: How do I unlock it? Tony and Edyn got theirs with ease!

Orwin: It requires a sacrifice, Strag. But it's necessary for the battle ahead.

[While Tony and Edyn are casually cuddling each other, suddenly in the distance, an army of tiny Primroots enters the Naroomi woods.]

Edyn: Are those...Primroots?

Tony: Yeah, but they seem to be Shadow Primroots!

[Tony and Edyn grab their anamites.]

Tony and Edyn: With this anamite, I imagine...

Tony: Furok!

Edyn: Ugger!

[Furok and Ugger appear.]

Furok: LET THE FUR FLY!

Ugger: Time to tag!

Edyn: Let's try and not hurt them. Ugger, mini Root Reach.

Tony: Furok, mini color blast!

[Furok and Ugger execute their attacks, but the Primroots respond by spraying dark mist across the area.]

[Strag tries to figure out what sacrifice to make in order to get his Dream Armour. Seeing him worried, Shimmer tells him to think about people like Inara and his mother and what he'd do for them.]

Shimmer: Strag, think about the people you care about. What would you do for them?

Strag: I'd do anything to protect them. But what sacrifice do I need to make?

Shimmer: Sometimes sacrifices are about what we're willing to give up, not what we're willing to lose.

[Back at the battle, Tony and Edyn have fused with Furok and Ugger. Tony uses Fusion Blast with his sword while Edyn uses Fusion Root with her lance which sends the Primroots back to the dream plain.]

Tony: Ready for this, Edyn?

Edyn: Ready as I'll ever be, Tony. Let's do it!

Tony: FUSION BLAST!

Edyn: FUSION ROOT!

[Tony and Edyn execute their attacks, successfully repelling the Shadow Primroots.]

Tony: Yeah, we did it!

Edyn: High-five!

[After the battle, Tony and Edyn are walking home, hand in hand, when they meet up with Strag.]

Tony: Hey, Strag. How was your day?

Strag: It was enlightening, to say the least. Orwin gave me tips on how to unlock my Dream Armour and Shimmer thinks the only way to help my mum and Inara, but I don't know if I'm ready to go back to the underneath yet.

Edyn: You'll figure it out, Strag. We're all here for you.

[Tony offers the orange anamites to Strag.]

Tony: Here, take these. They might help you in your journey.

[Strag accepts the anamites, feeling reassured by his friends' support.]

Strag: Well, you know how much I love Primroot. Thanks guys. You're the best

[The trio share a warm moment as they continue their journey together.]
