After the bachelorette party, everyone headed home. Olivia Baker stayed at Betty Cooper's place, while Emily Cooper and Mindy Chen accompanied Veronica back to the apartment she shared with Archie. Archie, feeling embarrassed by Veronica's drunken behavior, unintentionally distanced himself as Emily and Mindy helped her inside.

In the apartment, Veronica stumbled into the living room, her eyes bleary and unfocused. "I want more drinks," she slurred, reaching for an imaginary cocktail.

Emily gently guided her to the couch. "No, Veronica, you've had enough for tonight."

Veronica blinked at her, trying to process the statement. "How many did I have?"

Emily sighed. "You had twelve cocktails, Veronica."

Veronica's face crumpled, and she began to apologize repeatedly. "I'm so sorry, Emily. So, so sorry."

Emily crouched down to her level. "It's okay, Veronica. Do you want some water?"

Veronica screamed, "No! I want more cocktails!"

Emily, maintaining her composure, hurried to the kitchen to get a glass of water. She returned and handed it to Veronica. "Here, drink this."

Veronica reluctantly took the glass, spilling some water on herself. She sipped it, her face scrunching up in dissatisfaction. Meanwhile, Archie retreated to the bathroom for a shower, hoping to wash away the embarrassment and stress of the evening.

As the water cascaded over Archie, a knock sounded on the bathroom door. It was Mindy. "Archie, can I come in?"

Archie hesitated, then turned off the shower and wrapped a towel around himself. "Yeah, come in."

Mindy entered and leaned against the sink, her expression sympathetic. "How are you holding up after all that?"

Archie sighed, running a hand through his wet hair. "Honestly, I'm not sure. Seeing Veronica like that... it's hard."

Mindy nodded. "She's a hot mess right now, but it's not entirely her fault. The stress of the wedding, her parents... it's a lot."

Archie sat on the edge of the bathtub, feeling overwhelmed. "I know. I just wish I could do something to help her."

Mindy gave him a reassuring smile. "You're already doing a lot by just being there for her. Sometimes, that's all she needs."

Back in the living room, Emily was still with Veronica, trying to get her to drink more water. Veronica's head lolled back, and she mumbled incoherently.

Emily patted her arm. "Veronica, it's going to be okay. Just drink some more water, and you'll feel better."

Veronica's eyes fluttered open, and she looked at Emily with a hint of clarity. "Emily, I don't know what I'd do without you and Mindy."

Emily smiled softly. "That's what friends are for. We've got your back."

Archie emerged from the bathroom, looking more composed. He walked over to Veronica and knelt beside her. "Hey, you okay?"

Veronica nodded slowly, her hand reaching out to touch his face. "Archie, I'm so sorry for tonight. I didn't mean to embarrass you."

Archie took her hand in his. "It's okay, Veronica. We'll get through this together."

Mindy, watching the scene, felt a surge of hope for her friends. "Veronica, we're all here for you. We'll help you through this."

Veronica's eyes welled up with tears, but she managed a grateful smile. "Thank you, all of you."

Emily stood up, looking at Archie and Mindy. "I think it's time for us all to get some rest. Tomorrow's a new day, and we can start fresh."

They all agreed, helping Veronica to her feet and guiding her to the bedroom. As she settled into bed, Veronica felt a sense of comfort and support from her friends and Archie. Despite the chaos and stress, she knew she wasn't alone in this journey.

As the apartment quieted down, Archie lay beside Veronica, holding her close. "We're going to have our wedding, Veronica. No matter what."

Veronica snuggled into him, her voice barely a whisper. "I love you, Archie."

Archie kissed her forehead. "I love you too, Veronica. Always."

With that, they drifted off to sleep, hopeful that the next day would bring them closer to the wedding they both dreamed of, surrounded by friends who truly cared about them.
