The next day, Veronica, Emily, and Mindy sat around the breakfast table, enjoying a leisurely morning meal. The apartment was filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm croissants. The conversation naturally drifted to the wedding, which was now just a couple of months away.
Mindy sipped her coffee and looked at Veronica with a mischievous smile. "So, am I on the guest list?"
Veronica laughed, her eyes sparkling. "Definitely yes, Mindy. You're not just a guest; you're one of my bridesmaids."
Emily grinned, leaning back in her chair. "I knew that, of course. But it's good to hear it again."
Veronica took a bite of her croissant, then began to list the wedding guests, her voice filled with excitement. "Okay, let me run through the list again. Besides you two, we have..."

Emily raised an eyebrow. "That's quite the list. 350 guests?"
Veronica nodded. "Yeah, it's a lot, but Archie and I wanted to make sure all our friends could be there."
Mindy leaned forward, her curiosity piqued. "And you're sure you want to go through with it after everything with Hiram and Hermione?"
Veronica sighed, her smile fading slightly. "It's been tough. But this is our wedding, not theirs. We're doing it our way, even if it means facing some challenges."
Emily reached out and squeezed Veronica's hand. "We're here for you, V. Whatever you need, we've got your back."
Veronica smiled gratefully. "Thanks, guys. That means a lot."
As they continued to discuss the wedding plans, they found themselves laughing and reminiscing about old times. The atmosphere was light and full of hope, a stark contrast to the tension that had surrounded the planning process recently.
Just as they were finishing up breakfast, there was a knock on the door. Veronica got up to answer it, revealing Betty standing there with a bright smile on her face.
"Good morning!" Betty greeted, stepping inside.
"Betty!" Veronica exclaimed, hugging her. "Come in, join us!"
Betty sat down with them, and they quickly filled her in on the latest developments. She listened intently, her expression a mix of concern and determination.
"We're going to make this wedding perfect," Betty declared. "No matter what Hiram and Hermione try to do, we won't let them ruin it."
Veronica nodded, feeling a renewed sense of confidence. "You're right. We've got this."
The rest of the morning was spent planning and brainstorming, each of them contributing ideas and suggestions. By the time they were done, Veronica felt more prepared and supported than ever.
As the day went on, Archie returned from work, finding Veronica in a much better mood. He joined them at the table, and together they continued to work on the wedding plans, their excitement and determination growing with each passing moment.
The support of their friends made all the difference, and Veronica knew that, no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together. The wedding in Paris was going to be everything they dreamed of and more, and nothing could stand in their way.
