Sitting outside I smile watching Faith lift Henry to pick an apple from the tree, Faith and I have taken over teaching Henry since Snow's closed the school, and the town's struggling because she's wasting money on who knows what.

Faith and Henry leave town and use my cards to buy food for us and anything else we may need, I should be upset she's ruining my town but having both my babies home I can't find it in myself to care, plus the part of town I made for those loyal to me is fine and everyone's happy.

Faith wants to wait a bit longer before we leave, I've gotten better with my magic almost to my full power again and Emma has gotten better, although hers still responds with brute force but she's actually working at it.

Hearing Henry laughing I look at them seeing Faith holding him by his ankles as his fingers brush the ground, our relationship is still strained but we're making progress.

Emma and Faith still don't trust each other but I knew neither would right away, both have so must baggage that they continue to press each other limits, they have started easing up if you pay attention to their actions.

Hearing the door open I glance seeing Emma come in glaring at the ground "rough day?" I ask.

"Typical fits like I'm supposed to magically fix what she's done with a snap of my fingers" she says sitting down.

"Just beat their asses and stop bitching" Faith calls back.

"I'm a cop, I can't go around hitting everyone who annoys me" Emma snaps.

Sighing I tune them out, I doubt they know I've caught them in the living room drunk comparing their past before just sitting in silence beside each other.

I'll never fully understand their pain because as bad as Cora was I at least had a father who loved me even if he couldn't protect me, they had no one or in Faith's case till I came along they seem to share this unspoken understanding and bond.

Emma even showed her a worn out book she had that has a list of names, Faith showed her a shoe she left here that has the same from when she was taken and given back multiple times before she was finally taken for good.

I don't understand the importance of it but I didn't say anything about it, I could tell just by their looks that was something important and both had a deeper understanding of it.

Henry seems to like that his Ma and sister are bonding even if he doesn't understand it.

Feeling him join me I look him seeing him hold up an apple smiling at me with that same impish grin he gets when he's done something he's proud of.

"No slayer strength Mills" Emma says slapping the table.

"No magic Swan" Faith adds smugly.

"Do not break another table" I warn seeing them start another arm wrestling match.

"Their gonna break it" Henry says eating his apple once I take mine.

"Yes and they will have to fix it or go buy another" I add seeing them glaring at each other with shaking arms.

Relaxing against the tree I smile kissing Henry's head as we watch them, when Emma wins she whoops jumping up doing what she claims is a victory dance that consists of a head bob similar to a bird when challenging another and the Egyptian with her arms.

Henry covers his mouth shaking with laughter while Faith looks at her with horror "oh yeah who's the badass" Emma chants.

"Again" Faith demands.
