Faith pov months later
Standing at the town line I hold Henry's hand as Mom explains the plan while feeling my eyes water up, she smiles cupping mine and Henry's cheeks "Henry will have never been give up, Emma will have been your friend who's like a big sister I can't change much on you but Cordelia will have still came to find you, the warrants will never have happened, you four will be a family" she says before kissing us both on the head.
"You'll never have to struggle because an old foster Mom left you her money" she adds.
I watch as she slips a necklace around Cordy "I don't know if it will work but this necklace holds true loves magic with something secret, if I'm right this will continue to feed you whatever has changed your vision, my hope is you'll never be in pain from them and will hopefully hold off your death till you're old, you will never desire to remove it for any reason".
I feel Cordy put her arm around me after Mom hugs her before she turns to Emma, taking a deep breath I hold Henry closer as Cora steps forward.
Looking at her she thrusts out four beautiful stakes with silver handles "use them, they'll never lose their points" she says before awkwardly hugging us.
Emma steps back and leads us to the car, turning I look out the back window seeing Mom holding up the I love you sign with a lipstick print over her knuckles.
Holding the sign up myself I see Henry do it as well before she rips the curse.
"So where should we go?" Emma asks while driving.
Wiping my face I frown confused about why I'm crying "I don't know" I say softly.
"What about New York?" Henry asks.
Looking at him I frown seeing we all have tear marks on our cheeks but I don't know why.
A few weeks later
Walking the cemetery I frown rubbing my finger over my stake then smile slightly, I'd been so scared Emma would leave me when I was called but she went out and got us these, I ran away to protect them only to return after the entire Sunnydale problems.
She still welcomed me back in even after I told her everything, she tried to go there and beat all of them but I talked her down just wanting to forget it all.
Then Cordy tracked me down, after some tense conversations we started to become real friends Emma even got her a similar stake for her birthday after that and welcomed her to the family.
We had to move into a bigger house but overall life's good if you don't count that guy hounding Emma to date him that sends my Slayer instinct into overdrive.
