Walking around the aquarium with Cordy I smirk seeing her lean closer to the glass looking in at a fish.
"I was having fun" I say leaning against the wall.
"I'm sure you were, the touch tank fish were terrified because you wouldn't leave them alone, I'd almost believe that poor little octopus was slapping your finger away"
Hearing a woman snort laughing I look up seeing her on a ladder checking the water while the fish swim around her finger.
"These beauties are far smarter then given credit for" she says casually while petting an eel.
"Really? But what about the one second memories?" Cordy asks looking up at the woman.
"They still understand and can sense danger, safety, or when someone is messing with them being a pest"
Smiling I see the woman shake her head smiling while coming down.
"The octopus in the touch tank use to escaped and had to be put back fairly often"
"How'd that stop if it's still in the touch tank"
She chuckles grabbing something before climbing back up "I found him and put him back and he now stays".
Glancing at the woman I raise my brow seeing her looking confused at Cordy before looking at the necklace she wears.
Once Cordy finishes her questions we move on but I glance back at the woman seeing her name tag says Vanessa.
"What is it?" Cordy asks.
"Nothing, she was interesting"
"I didn't realize how much I didn't know about fish" she says.
Walking on I stop looking up at the shark swimming over us "it's time to follow Henry home" she says looking at her watch.
Nodding I toss my arm around her shoulders as we walk out "so what's my treat for this date?" I ask smirking at her.
She laughs glancing at me "I'll make you apple turnovers" she says walking ahead of me flipping her hair over her shoulder.
"Oh come on, not even a kiss?" I ask laughing.
"Maybe, if you get 12 tonight" she calls back.
"Deal, be ready for that kiss" I call jogging after her passing the aquarium lady.
Reaching the school we stay back watching Henry as he heads home but see him stop at the store and buy a bag of sun flowers seeds before continuing on.
Once he goes in we casually head in seeing him with his arms crossed glaring at us "you followed me" he says bluntly.
"Yes, but we kept our distance so no one noticed" Cordy says unfazed by his attitude.
"You said you'd let me walk alone"
"You did, we stayed away but you know words spread about you slaying with us, we are making sure you don't get grabbed" I say shrugging.
He huffs before stalking off to his room slamming the door and I grit my teeth glaring at it.
"Faith, he's just wanting to have more freedom without us hovering" Cordy says.
Nodding I turn going to the living sitting down.
A few hours later
Walking with Cordy in the cemetery I watch as Henry runs ahead of us and hits a vamp in the face before leaning back into a flip catching his chin before staking him.
"That three" he says proudly.
Nodding I throw my extra stake catching a vamp coming up behind him "8 and never let your guard down" I say calmly.
He scowls at me crossing his arms before stalking off "Faith, he's just wanting you to acknowledge his not a child anymore".
Scoffing I roll my eyes continuing on, at the end of our patrol Henry stalks to his room ignoring me completely.
