Faith pov
Standing at my old apartment in Sunnydale I walk the room checking everything out "someone was looking through my things".
"Are you sure?" Emma asks.
"Yes, look this was supposed to be here" I say lifting a Snow globe that use to sit on my dresser.
Emma frowns "check to see if anythings missing" she says.
Sighing I shrug ignoring the once broken window "not like I had anything of value, other then my games and comic books".
Hearing a knock on the door I look up seeing a demon at the door holding some envelopes "Faith Lehane" he says sounding bored.
Stepping up I hold my hand out "is this everything?" I ask.
"Everything that could be freed up belongs to you"
"Will you take over his plan?" He asks.
"No" I answer before he nods stiffly "what of the latest big bad that was driving people insane?" I ask looking at him.
"Dead"
"Who?" I ask.
"The watcher, a minion of hers witnessed him kill the host body"
Nodding I frown before he walks away.
"Who's he?" Henry asks.
"Demon, he's like a mercenary"
Opening the envelope I look everything over before handing it to Cordy.
Walking out I feel Cordy grab my arm before putting it over her shoulder leaning against me "what now?" She asks.
"The hell mouth needs a Slayer" I say shrugging.
"Are you sure? We both left for a reason"
"Nope but I'm still the slayer and this hell mouth is active"
"We'll have to inform the Scoobies, possibly set some ground rules"
A few hours later
Standing in front of the Summer's house I frown glaring at the robot that's apparently their plan.
"You have a Slayer here offering to take over and you choose a robot?" Emma asks scoffing.
"We can handle this, we don't want her" Xander snaps glaring at me.
Before I can speak I feel Cordy grab my hand lacing our fingers together "that's fine with us, we didn't want to stay here anyway Faith only offered because as the slayer it's her duty" she snaps.
"Come on Faith, we'll finish up your business and go back home" Emma says before we walk away.
I put my arm around Cordy pressing my face to her hair taking a deep breath to calm down "don't let him get to you, they're far from innocent in this fight" she says softly.
Dawn pov
Coming outside I watch as the group leaves while Xander looks confused at them.
"They're getting chummy" he says sounding completely confused.
"I think, they're together" Tara says softly.
"No not possible, Cordy had a new boyfriend every week and Faith slept with any guy who offered" Xander says with a pitch in his voice.
"Why are they here?" I ask catching their attention.
"Wilkins left Faith everything he owned she's handling that and offered to take over the hell mouth" Tara says.
"Probably some evil plan" Xander snarks while Willow stays silent heading back in.
Following her in to her room I find her sat on the bed "what is it you're hiding?" I ask.
"Faith, she's not as bad as we made her out to be, she tried but we wouldn't let her we all had a hand in driving her to Wilkins, she dropped her entire fight with us and left when that boy showed up"
Leaning on the wall I frown "Cordy was the only one who seen it and pointed it out all the time but we ignored her, she eventually tracked Faith down but I know Faith doesn't care about coming after us just Wes now, Cordy's why Faith hasn't made a move against him, most fights with Faith was her making threats and trying to scare us but Buffy would track her down and kept going after her".
Nodding I turn going back to my room and sit down thinking about what Willow said, Faith's not innocent but she's not the only guilty person they pushed her, Buffy pretty much harassed her too, and Xander he's so hateful to her, that crush I had on him seems so childish now he has his good parts and he's funny but lately I've noticed he's mean to people at times when they're trying to be civil.
