Two days later Faith pov
Walking with my family I smile wrapping my arms around Cordy's waist from behind "Faith" she says chuckling.
She spins around facing me before I pull her closer to me while smirking, she smiles before breaking my hold and stepping back.
Reaching out I grab her hand pulling her back to me, she grabs my wrists and spins around me before pushing me against the wall.
Feeling her kiss my cheek I turn my face catching her lips, she pulls back chuckling "happy now?" She teases.
Smirking I watch her step back "come on" she says tugging my arm as we move to catch up with Henry and Emma.
Glancing at Henry I see him blushing as Emma puts her arms around my shoulders.
Dawn pov
Standing with Anya I hear her sigh "oh good" she says happily.
"I don't have to warn her away from Xander" she adds.
I frown at her not sure if she means Faith or Cordelia, probably both knowing her, she's convinced everyone wants him.
"Why did I have to come?" I ask.
"With Faith around we're not allowed to leave you alone"
Frowning I sigh not bothering to point out if everyone's so worried about her then bringing me straight to her is the opposite of keeping me from her.
"Have you been able to contact Ruby?" I ask to distract her from going after them.
"No" she says frowning.
Faith pov a while later
Walking into the magic shop I stop and look at the Scoobies all gathered there, Cordy grabs my hand pulling me further in as Emma and Henry look around.
Picking up a book I flip the pages checking it out before putting it back for another.
Cordy grabs the books I set aside taking them up to the counter to be paid for, after getting a few more set aside she comes and grabs them before pulling my wallet from my pocket and kissing my cheek then going to pay.
"Why do you need all these magic books?" Willow asks watching Anya excitedly ring stuff up.
Cordy hands the card over and I hear Anya squeal happily "research" she says while taking the card back.
"Faith let's go" she call.
Coming up I grab some bags with Emma before we head out, walking down the streets I see Cordy playing with her necklace "you okay?" Emma asks.
"Just ready to leave Sunnydale and go back home"
"I'm almost finished then we can go home"
A few days later New York
Walking in the house I smile, it's good to be home and Cordy doesn't have to wear that mask she does in Storybrooke.
I know she does it for protection, Sunnydale used us up and spat us out so bad just going back hurts and makes the past feel like it just happened yesterday.
Heading to my room I start putting my stuff up then lay on my bed, eventually Cordy comes in and lays by me facing the wall.
She reaches behind herself and tugs my hand, rolling over I put my arm around her pulling her close.
I don't feel any romantic love for Cordy the same as she doesn't for me but our actions seem like it, we always flirt and go so far before pulling back and I like being able to hold her like this.
She always relaxes in my arms I know she feels safe with me and with her close I can keep her safe.
Hearing her soft snores I smile pressing my face to her hair sighing, she's my best friend I trust her with everything I know I need her to keep me from becoming lost, the same as she needs me, she swears without me she'll never be happy and means it.
