Return to Storybrooke Faith pov
Checking the cemetery with Cordy I frown seeing a woman sat outside sipping tea while watching the sky.
"Not a vamp or demon" I mutter frowning.
"Let's go see if we can speak with her"
Walking closer I see the woman kiss the air before saying good night.
Looking at Cordy she sighs "why not have our own insane person the Scoobies did" she mutters.
Moving closer the woman looks at us and waves smiling "lovely night for a romantic stroll" she calls.
Cordy grabs my hand squeezing it "it is very nice" she says smiling.
"My Henry and I were just watching the stars but he decided to head to bed" she says chuckling.
Cutting my eyes to Cordy she squeezes again, I know she's warning me against making a snarky comment but really this is nuts.
"Would you girls like some tea?" She asks after pouring herself another.
"No thank you ma'am, we're looking for a couple friends of ours, have you see anyone with bumpy ridges on their face" I ask showing the spots that it appears on the vamps.
"No, can't say I have, I'd remember seeing someone like that, poor dear" she says shaking her head.
"Maybe our other friend they dress like monsters from games so have you seen anyone possibly dressed up like it's Halloween?" Cordy asks.
"You girls have some strange friends" she says after a moment of looking at us.
"No, well, I seen someone dressed like a monkey with wings" she adds while frowning.
"That would be them, do you remember what way they went?" I ask.
"That way" she says pointing back towards town.
Before we can ask more and possibly get her to follow us she looks at the crypt "calm down dear I'm coming" she says.
"Excuse me girls that man would lose his head without me" she says shaking her head heading in.
"Nope, not happening we'll tell Emma we're not following her inside" Cordy says pulling me.
Sighing I follow after her back to town finding Emma stood by a woman talking, walking up I shake my head seeing her questioning look "there's a woman living in a crypt, she's got some problems mentally".
"Did you see what one?" The woman asks.
"Mills, she mentioned a husband named Henry and a Monkey with wings" Cordy answers.
"God, mother" the woman mutters rubbing her forehead.
"Should we go drag her out?" I ask.
"No, let her be" the woman says quickly with wide eyes.
She sighs clearing her throat "that's my mother, I'll have to get her out, she's finicky with strangers and can become very aggressive".
Nodding I glance at Cordy seeing she's suspicious as well "right, well she was heading inside to help her husband with something" I say.
Turning I pull Cordy away from them so we have some privacy "something's not adding up" she says softly.
Nodding I lean on the wall crossing my arms "we'll need more information before we figure out what's happening but she seemed terrified of that woman".
"Thoughts?" Cordy asks.
Humming I sigh patting my pocket before remembering Cordy took my cigarettes so I would stop smoking.
"No demon or vamp senses but my slayer instincts say something's happening and be ready, it's like they've all gotten out of town"
"So possible big bad running around that's scared the common vamps and demons out of town" Cordy adds looking at me.
"Or something much worse has taken up residency somewhere that scares even them away"
"Staying?" She asks.
"Yes"
"So what scares vamps and demons so bad they leave town?" I asks.
"Um, well we had a Giant praying mantis as a teacher, apparently the normal problem creatures were terrified of her and run from her if brought near her"
"So we what? ask if they've found any headless virgins?" I ask.
"We break into the morgue and check Faith"
"Are you trying to seduce me?" I purr.
She sighs rolling her eyes and steps out of my reach "we'll see" she says before walking away, smirking I follow after her.
An hour later
Sitting in the cell I cross my arms glaring at the Asian woman sat at the desk filling out some paperwork.
I'm far from happy that she got the drop on me like she did, I wasn't expecting her to be able to fight like she did, the entire thing added up to a bruised ego and wounded pride.
Seeing the second woman who looks native American come in she frowns looking at us before the Asian woman "what'd they do?"
"Broke into the morgue" she grumbles before glaring at us.
Sneering I move to get up but Cordy grabs my arm stopping me just as Emma and her friend come in.
"Let them out" she orders.
"I can't do that, my orders are clear, arrest them and keep them locked up" she says glaring.
"Emma?" A man says coming from an office.
She frowns looking at him before the badge on his hip "Regina I'm still sheriff right?" Emma asks.
"Yes"
Emma nod then knocks him out before taking the badge clipping it on and turns to the Asian woman "I'm your boss they get released" she snaps yanking the keys from her before letting us out.
"We're staying with Regina so come on" she says before grabbing my face tilting it.
After a moment she glares at the woman again "you're going to regret that" she says scoffing.
