Buffy pov
Sitting with my friends I sigh I'm not sure I can take anymore surprises after dying, things I was told while coming to terms with everything I didn't really hear.
But now I'm listening to Dawn talking on the phone in the living room laughing "wait really emotion ice cream, like it's really an emotion?" She asks after a moment.
I can hear someone lowly speaking "so she really would have went all the way to get it?" She asks.
"That's so sweet of Faith" she says giggling.
Hearing her laughing again I frown, what does she know about Faith who's never sweet.
"No it's sweet and romantic, Faith goes out and finds that for Cordelia every time and brings it to her"
Frowning I feel a clinching in my stomach "no Henry, it shows how much she loves her, Faith does it because it makes her happy not because Cordelia's her boss".
"No, I'm still being sheltered" she huffs "it's like they want me to stay helpless, they ignore the fact that Buffy has invited vampires in, first Angel who went evil again then Spike who's controlled by a chip, what if someone hits his head just right and it shorts out then he's free to do anything he wants".
"They wouldn't let me Henry" she says softly.
"Okay be careful bye" she says.
Stepping in the room I cross my arms looking at Dawn "who was that?" I ask casually.
"Henry" she snarks getting up.
"What was that about Faith and Cordy?"
Dawn frowns looking at me "he was telling me about Faith always running around finding a specific ice cream for Cordy once a month for a week" she answers.
"You can't honestly believe they're dating or that Faith could be sweet" I say while grabbing her arm so she doesn't walk away.
"I believe it because I seen them kissing, I seen how Faith is with Cordy, they're cute together I'm happy Faith and Cordy found happiness and love together they deserve it" Dawn snaps.
"Buffy let go you're hurting me" she suddenly says grabbing my wrist.
Letting go quickly I look at her shocked "Dawn I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" I say quickly going to step closer only for her to back away from me.
"You need to figure out yourself Buffy, this is stupid you ran Faith off and now you're upset she's completely forgotten about you" she snaps before stalking off.
Cordy pov
Waking up again I hear Faith laughing "how did they not realize it was a female?" She asks.
Humming I move closer laying my head on Faith's chest hearing Vanessa's muffled voice and laugh.
Faith smiles at me rubbing my lower back "I thought they would at least recognize Claspers on a shark" Faith says laughing.
Looking up at her I curl my nose slightly "how's my octopus?" She finally asks.
Smiling I listen to them talking before Faith ends the call "you need anything?" She asks.
"More ice cream" I mutter.
"You want to come or no?" She asks while pulling her boots on.
Nodding I get up changing my clothes then pull my heels on, grabbing my stake I slip it in my coat pocket before fallowing Faith out.
Reaching the street she puts her arm around my waist kissing my head as we walk "has Henry figured out you been following him to the cemeteries and back home?" I ask.
She shushes me glancing around quickly "no and I want to keep it that way, I know he's a teenager but he's still a boy, I'd rather him believe I'm letting him go alone then him actually be alone" she mutters.
"I know Faith" I say before kissing her cheek.
Coming to the store she pulls the door open smirking at me, stepping in I look around before hearing a woman call just a moment, she comes out from the back with a large tub of ice cream "back for more already?" She asks.
Faith nods leading me up to look "why have dragon?" I ask confused.
"You'd be surprised at everything that's in the world you don't know about" she says casually.
"Wolf?" I ask confused.
"Rare but we have two in this little town" she says shrugging.
Looking at Faith she shrugs unfazed by the information but I know she's thinking about what it means.
"Can humans have from wolf or dragon?" I ask.
"Yes, although you should avoid blood lust and rage, humans can't handle that emotion it causes them to lose control"
"Not them?" I ask worried.
"No, to them it's more of a euphoric feeling"
Nodding I look at both thinking "powerful, attractive, and happy from dragon" I say.
She nods smiling slightly and moves to get it ready "what about you?" She asks glancing at Faith.
Seeing her looking at blood lust I slap her arm "do not" I warn.
"Oh come on I'm not exactly human" she mutters.
"We are not risking it" I hiss.
"Fine, I'll take the same as her" she grumbles pouting slightly.
