Pulling up at the diner I slap at Emma's seat "out, momma out" I screech in a childish mocking voice.
She jumps out quickly moving around the car as I climb out over her seat then stretch causing my shirt to pull up exposing my stomach.
"Faith" I hear Cordy call before rushing up tucking herself against my side.
Feeling her hand on my stomach pulling my shirt up I smirk showing a dimple "that's so cool" I hear Henry cheer before he's in front of me looking at it.
"Alright back it up, I'm not something for you to fawn over" I say laughing slightly while pushing him back.
"Yet you sat around bragging about your hardest fights when you showed up in Sunnydale" Cordy snarks.
Shrugging I look at Maleficent hugging Lily "Faith, Mulan pointed out something that none of us thought of, we need to track down the new Slayer and make sure she doesn't die or mess up the Slayer line anymore then it's already been".
"Why was Mulan involved?" I ask.
"Tara brought her along, I'm not entirely sure what happened but she offered to help"
Nodding I glance at Mulan talking to Tara before looking at Cordy, looking at her I raise my brows and see she's giving the same open and honest look she always gives when she wants me to trust her or give someone a chance because she thinks something is a good idea.
"Right, well we'll see how she handles this maybe I can take her out for a hunt and see if she can handle our world, but I'm ready to deal with her if she turns on us" I finally say before kissing her cheek.
Seeing her tense up I frown looking at her then her line of sight seeing Lily being hugged by Maleficent "what's wrong?" I ask, I'm almost certain it's Lily that's caught her attention but I want her to say it.
"It's her" she whispers gripping my arms tightly "Faith, she's who I seen turn into a dragon in that vision".
Nodding I swallow down my emotions, I have to trust Cordy won't abandon me because her true love's come she's been my best friend for so long and I could always count on her to be honest, sometimes brutally honest when it's not needed, but Lily's an unknown, she could try to block us from each other or manipulate Cordy into ignoring me.
Feeling Cordy lean against me laying her head on my shoulder I look at her seeing her looking at me "don't get lost in you're fears Faith, she maybe my true love but you're my soulmate and best friend, I won't let anyone come between us".
Looking at her eyes I nod "Mills are you and Chase joining us for lunch" Emma calls from the door holding it open.
Cordy smiles stepping away from me and goes to walk ahead as I stay in place, I take a breath feeling like she's already leaving me behind but then I feel my hand grabbed and easily recognize the feel of it before looking at the person seeing Cordy smiling at me "come on, you can have my fries and half my milkshake".
Smiling I walk with her finding the diner has tables adjusted to seat us all before Granny flips the sign to closed after locking the door.
Sitting down beside Tara she smiles at me as Cordy takes the other side by me with Henry beside us "alright Lily, let's get you introduced to everyone here, now you met Faith, but this Henry mine and Regina's son, then Tara and Cordelia they're Faith's friends and became like more daughters to Regina, Ingrid's probably at the ice cream shop, That's Cora and Mulan and finally Kronk".
Seeing her nod looking at us each she frowns looking at me and Cordy when she turns holding a French frie out to me that's been dipped in her shake.
Red pov
Pulling up at the agreed meeting place, I climb out of the car seeing Anya sat on a bench with Buffy and Xander watching her while Willow and Dawn sit by her talking.
Glancing at the guy I roll my eyes seeing him stood with his arms crossed glaring at Anya, walking over she jumps up and nervously wrings her fingers "Anya, you ready to go? Granny's got a room set up for you and said you could work with us" I say as a greeting before hugging her.
Seeing her nod smiling nervously I grab her suitcase stacking her other one on top of it and go to put them in the trunk, dropping them in I smirk at her "let's go" I say while closing it.
She nods moving to the passenger seat and gets in, but before I can get in I'm stopped by Willow and Dawn with Buffy staying a little back "how's Cordy doing?" Willow asks sadly.
Glancing at Dawn she keeps her face blank but I can see she's silently begging me to not say anything "she's okay I guess, why?" I ask frowning.
"Well with Faith dying I just thought, will you let her know I'm here to talk if she wants"
Nodding I sigh understanding Dawn and Cordy have avoided mentioning Faith survived "I'll let her know, she's been staying with Faith's family still, they told her she doesn't have to leave and can stay with them as long as she wants, she was supposed to exchange vows with Faith this summer and they still see her as family" I say seeing relief then confusion on Dawn's face while Willow looks heartbroken.
Buffy clinches her jaw and fists with her arms crossed "they were getting married?" She asks.
"Buffy, same sex couples can't get married" Xander says in a mocking voice while glaring at me.
"No, but they can exchange vows and rings in front of their family and friends to show how much they love each other, I can see why they didn't plan to invite you" I respond in a mocking voice before opening the car door "you must be proud to have ruined four relationships now, but at least you couldn't try to ruin theirs" I add before taking off.
After a few minutes Anya whispers thank you, frowning I glance at her "Don't mention it, you went a little to far but heartbreak can make you crazy" I answer shrugging.
"I didn't think you'd come or still want to talk" she adds.
"Anya, you're my friend I don't judge you for what you did, remember I'm a wolf I've got instincts that drive me even when I'm in control"
