A few days later Cordy pov
Standing on main Street in front of Gold's shop I struggle to hold onto Regina after seeing the Dark ones powers surrounding Faith and Emma.
I shiver feeling sick as Maleficent stands to the side holding the dagger with a blank face, the darkness targeted me and Regina before Faith grabbed it calling it to her only for Emma to grab it trying to stop her.
Feeling a hand on my shoulder I glance back seeing Tara with Mulan behind her like some Guard with her arms crossed.
"I have to find her" I whisper.
"We will" Tara says with a forced smile.
Before I can say anything else Maleficent walks over holding out the dagger to me "you're the one who can control her" she says softly while handing it me.
Taking it I nod ignoring Snow yelling no and demanding the dagger that controls Emma, taking a breath I look at it seeing Faith's name on it, I don't know why it took both Emma and her if Faith's the new dark one.
Seeing movement before a hand reaches out for the dagger I turn kicking my foot out catching David between his legs dripping him "Do not try that again, Emma is not the dark one, Faith is and I'm who can control her" I snap ignoring Mulan moving in front of Tara pulling her sword glaring at him.
"If you or your people try anything to hurt her or take this I will make sure you are killed or tossed across the line without your memories" I add.
Faith pov
Waking up I frown rubbing my head before looking around and seeing Emma sat on a log watching the distance "we're in the forest again" she says calmly with a monotone voice.
Nodding I sit up completely "I guess I fucked up again" I mutter frowning.
"We both did"
Looking at her I frown "what is that?" I ask picking up some strange vibe from her and the urge to hurt her.
"Dark one's powers, somehow we both got it"
"Great, explains why I want to hurt you" I mutter.
"Don't feel lonely, I woke up first and thought about killing you" she responds not looking at me.
Sighing I get up and lean on a tree "so now what?" I ask.
"We resist the darkness and have to trust each other to help keep us from giving in, all while trying to get home"
Nodding I frown glancing at her before seeing a woman appear in front of me "don't trust her, she's Charming's daughter she's planning to help him and Snow, she'll kill everyone you love then steal Henry" she whispers to me.
Gritting my teeth I shake my head trying to ignore her, Emma's protected Mom and I, she's not the enemy she's family.
"Faith, did you hear me?" Emma asks standing in front of me.
Taking a breath I look at her confused on when she got so close to me "no, what did you say?" I ask.
"Let's go that way, maybe we can figure out where we are"
Nodding I fall into step with her as we walk, glancing at her I see her eyes sweeping the area and her hand slip in her pocket, she won't try to kill me, she's trusted, she's family I think while repeating it in my head.
Cordy pov
Laying in bed I curl up holding the dagger close, I've tried summoning Faith multiple times and gotten nothing, she hasn't answered me at all.
Regina assured me it's the real dagger and Maleficent didn't give me a fake but if it's real she should have answered me, Faith always answers me unless she's hurt or fighting.
Shaking my head I place the dagger in my bedside dresser, I can't think like that, Faith's fine, she's just busy and can't respond, if I keep calling she could get hurt.
She has Emma with her, I know Emma will keep her from going dark, hearing my door open I look up seeing Regina before she comes to the bed and sits by me.
Looking at her I sit up laying my head on her shoulder before feeling her arm around me "we'll find them and bring them home" she says, I can her the determination in her tone but also the fear and sadness.
Faith pov sometime later
Standing by a tree I frown watching Emma talking to the redhead princess, I eventually look away from them "you can remove Snow and David, and get Buffy if you just listen, nothing will stand in the way, everything you want can be yours" the female says.
"Faith, come on" Emma calls.
Looking up at her I frown more "what?" I ask.
"She's gonna help us if we can help her save her family"
Scoffing I follow them "why should you follow her, you're the Slayer and dark one, this pathetic princess should agree and do as you say".
Nodding I suddenly stop and frown "no, I'm the Slayer I'm supposed to help those in need even if she doesn't help us" I mutter.
"Did you say something Faith" Emma asks looking back at me.
"No nothing important, just miss our family" I answer.
Emma nods as I reach her and puts an arm around my shoulders before pressing our foreheads together "me too but we'll get home and fix this" she says softly.
