Kennedy pov
Sitting on the counter I hum tossing some popcorn in my mouth watching everyone panicking over the bringers.
"Kennedy what do think?" Willow asks looking at me.
"She's not going to be any help Wills she's barely been a Slayer for a few months" Xander snaps glaring at me.
"I think Xander's a pathetic excuse for the male species, every female that's been with him has turned to other women" I snark smirking at him.
Seeing him move towards me I point my sword at him "do you really want to get your ass kicked by a female again, it's bad enough it won't be the first time and that a child did once already" I taunt seeing his jaw clench.
"Xander, Kennedy enough" Buffy snaps.
"Sorry, B but when it comes to slayers I'll listen to you're not it, if you want something call my bosses or watcher" I snark hoping down and walking off "and keep treating me like I have no experience, I'll completely ignore your orders" I add while swinging my sword up and back on my back.
Walking out I frown patting my pocket pulling out the work phone Regina got me "speak" I say putting it to my ear without checking.
"You better be happy I'm not Regina calling or she'd bitch you out" Cordy says "Hi Ken" Henry says after she stops.
"It's fine and hey" I respond.
"I'm calling to let you know Emma and Faith contacted us, I don't think they could hear me but Faith's going to find and work with her dad to get out and Emma's fighting Hades about leaving"
"Good, when's she coming here?" I ask.
"Sometime after she gets back, but I'm sending the Dragons after they handle something"
"Do I need to do anything?"
"When Faith shows up continue being her right hand slayer, that group hasn't been great for her so stand by her if they try to turn on her" she responds.
Faith pov
Walking to the mayor's office I frown seeing Dad sat with Cruella "you" she snaps getting up.
"Faith" he says proudly holding his arms out motioning me to come to him.
Walking up I feel him hug me tightly "you shouldn't be here" he says after letting me go.
"Had an issue with a bitch dragging my family here in some bullshit delusion about Mom's wife being true loves with a pirate"
"Now Faith, we been over this there's no reason for a young lady to speak like that, think of the children, we have to set an example" he says sternly.
Raising my brow I look at him not speaking "what is the meaning of this?" Cruella demands.
"Dad, why are you with the bitch who threatened to kill my brother?" I ask.
"Dad?" She screams moving closer only for Maleficent to grab her should "Cruella, do not get between a parent and child" she warns glaring at her.
"Don't worry Faith, now tell me what's been going on, we can catch up while we get you out"
Nodding I sigh feeling him put an arm around my shoulders in a side hug as we walk out "I adopted a son" I whisper.
"That's wonderful, oh but you'll have to work on that language" he says smiling at me.
"I have been" I grumble ignoring Cruella being led by Maleficent.
Patting my pocket I find my wallet and pull out the photo I have handing it to Dad "I named him after you" I add.
He hums taking it and smiles "My, he's a handsome boy" he says before laughing slightly "imagine that, me a grandpa I didn't think it was possible after my first wife and child passed".
"First?" I ask frowning.
"Ah, how forgetful of me, Faith this is my new wife" he says motioning to Cruella.
Looking at her then him I cross my arms raising my brows "you're new wife?"
"Now Faith, let by gones be by gones and have a fresh start" he says putting an arm around her shoulders and mine.
"She tried to kill my brother" I grunt glaring at her.
"Actually Faith" Maleficent says so I look at her glaring "Cruella wouldn't have been able to hurt Henry, she can't hurt anyone" she finishes.
Jerking away from Dad I look at her pointing at Cruella "she held him over a cliff with a fucking gun Maleficent, I seen it myself before Emma killed her" I snap.
"I'm sure she did, but she never would have been able to do it, she has a curse on her that makes her incapable of hurting or killing anyone she's all bark" Maleficent says shrugging "it's why I had to have Ursula help protect my nest, Cruella was supposed to protect my egg while Ursula handled keeping any threats back".
"If it helps, I didn't know Emma was Maleficent's daughter, Ursula and I was chosen to be her children's God mothers, I never would have used him if I knew"
"You shouldn't have used any child" I snap before looking at Dad "if you're happy with her fine I'll accept it but I will not accept her as family, she's not my mother or step mother, now will you help us get out I need to get home to my son".
"Oh, could I see the photo of him" Cruella asks while reaching for the one dad still holds.
Glaring at her I take it back putting it in my wallet "like I'd trust you to see him" I mutter walking off.
