Chapter 11: Winning the game

Continuing forward into the living room Stolas looked around seeing how so much had changed it looked decayed and empty as the heartless and human like figures were rotting away twitching as the flame in the fireplace had a sickly green glow smelling of burning money and ink and Mammon…his fine suit was ripped and his legs were replaced with a long scythe like spider like legs and a larval body as he seem bigger showing six spider like eyes as he looked seeing Stolas "So…your back…and you brought *Seeing Loona frowning* vermin with you" he said growling as Stolas got defensive "She is a freind" said Stolas staying strong as Mammon with a grunt got off the couch his spider like legs twitching as Stolas saw the heft of Mammons belly rise and jiggled as he kept a brave face "You know I love you mate" he said as he reached out and touched Stolas face with his sharper claws as Stolas stood brave.

But Stolas know it was all a lie, he was just a toy to play with for the fat sin before he was discarded like a broken toy "You have a really funny way of showing it" he said "So kid…where are they the ghost eyes?" He asked as Stolas reached into his bag pulling them out showing the three spheres from his bag as Mammon grinned his teeth yellowed more and sharper as he reached out to take…but Stolas pulled them back as he growled "Hold on, we aren't finished yet are we?" He asked storing the spheres away as Mammon huffed "No I guess of course not mate, after all you need to find your old boring moms dont you?" He asked sarcastically as he grinned showing a familiar candy "Too bad you dont have this" he said tossing it into the fire as it burn away as Stolas gasped as Mammon chuckled evily as Stolas stood strong as he felt the whisper of the hellhound

Hellhound boy: be clever even if you win he will never let you go!

A harsh truth as Stolas saw the fat human nearly decaying away protecting the locked door behind it frowning but getting an idea "I already know where you've hidden them" he said as Mammon smirked "Well…produce them mate where are they?" He asked as Stolas pointed to the door "They are behind that door" he said as Mammon grinned as if he won "Oh they are are they?" He asked as he crawled over to the door as the body moved away as Stolas heared glass noises as he turned as Loona nudged him "*Quietly* there over there!" She said jumping on the mantle near a familiar snow globe as Stolas looked close and saw Charlie and Vaggie in it sheading a small tear "*Whispers* mama Charlie Mama Vaggie" he whispered happy to see they are ok. But heard a sickening cough as he saw Mammon throwing up the key as he made a face of disguisement as Mammon turned grinning as Stolas had a calm face "Go on, open it they will be there alright" he said as The sin of greed turned the key and unlocked it as he grinned cruely "You are wrong Stolly they are not there" he said in a mocking sing song voice as it revealed the empty spider web tunnel as he pulled out the needle and thread and buttons "Now you are gonna stay here forever" he said as Stolas stood tall.

"No…I'm *Throws Loona at Mammon as she became her full size pulling out a glowing claw gauntlet* NOT!" He yelled as Loona slammed into Mammon as he screamed as she dugged the claws into the soft flesh of Mammons eyes! Screeching it and ripping out his eyes as the claws had angelic steel! With that distraction Stolas grabbed the snow globe and put it in his bag as he ran to the door as Mammons six eyes fell out of his sockets with a bloody mess as Mammon tossed Loona close to the door as he roared angrily as his gorged eyes were now bloody holes.

"YOU BLOODY CHEATING YANK!" He yelled stomping on the floor making the whole floor fly up in a floor board as underneath was a spider web with underneath with smelly dark fluid of greens bellow as many of the items even the large human fell in as well as Stolas at the bottom as Mammon jumped down into the web manically yelling as Stolas quickly climbed as the sin was blind as he searched around "Where are you you bloody selfish yank!" He yelled feeling around as Stolas hurriedly climbed but his bag snaged a bit as he pulled it free but it created a vibration causing Mammon to grin as he felt and heard the vibration as with amazing strength climbed up following Stolas as he hurried up as he got to the door as he and Loona ran in as Stolas snatched the key on the door and tried to close the door "YOU DARE DISOBEY *Grabs the door and forces it open as Stolas tried to close it* YOUR FATHER!" He yelled but Stolas kicked his face knocking him back as he grunted trying to close it as Mammon growled blindly but felt the strength of the two imps and hellhound ghosts helping him pull it shut "Please shut!" He yelled as he pulled hard with the strength of the ghosts shamed it shut cutting up Mammons upper right hand as it dropped to the ground with a sickly green drip as Stolas locked the door tightly.

However as he did the door pounded furiously as Mammon roared yelling as Stolas ran hurriedly through the tunnel as he felt the door chasing him as Mammon yelled pounding crazily and madly

Mammons voice: dont leave me! DONT LEAVE ME I'll DIE WITH OUT YOU!

Stolas just kept running as the tunnel felt it was getting shorter and shorter as he felt flung from the tunnel to his world as he quickly closed it and then locked it as the door pounded with the key flinging out as Stolas grabbed it panting his heart pounding at how close it was as he checked his bag seeing the spheres safe as he sighed "They are safe the kids are safe" he said but saw the snow globe was missing "No moms" he said as he tried to look around hoping it fell in his world as his hands touched something wet as he sawed the small puddle near the fireplace with the tiny snowflakes as he saw the snow globe broken…

"It broke but does it mean…" he said as the door opened "Stolas? Were home?" Said Charlie as Stolas noticed his real moms arriving as he smiled big "Mama Charlie Mama Vaggie I missed you so much!" He yelled hugging them both confusing them "Missed us?" Asked Charlie confused seeing the snow globe broken "Oh you broke my favorite snow globe" said Charlie as Vaggie noticed the blood on Stolas knee "Oh Stolas I told you to count all the windows not get your knee through them" said Vaggie worried confusing Stolas "But…" Started Stolas "Get your self cleaned up okay, were going out tonight" said Charlie happy at Vaggie as there magazine came through and were successful as they left as Stolas saw the snow on there cloths "But the snow on your cloths…?" He said as the snow melted as Stolas decided it was for the best as it was surreal for what had happened. But dispite that he was just happy they are safe and sound.

Later that night Vaggy was playing with Stolas as they laughed "So we are gonna order tulips?" Asked Stolas "What's that?" Said Vaggie playfully "For the garden party!" He said as Vaggie tickled his belly as Stolas giggled happily "I have no idea what you're talking about" she asked playfully as Charlie arranged some invites "Dont forget the invites the garden supplies are on there way as well as our stuff" said Charlie "Dont forget Frizzaroli" said Stolas which surprised Charlie "Oh Frizzaroli?" She said "He isnt drunk…just eccentric in a good way" said Stolas as Charlie smiled as Vaggie tucked Stolas in bed "Good night Stolas" she said kissing Stolas forehead as Charlie placed a small box under his pillow as Stolas woke smiling as he peekd and saw it was the gloves he wanted as he smiled.

"Thanks Mama" he said whispering as he heard a knock as he saw it was Loona in her pup form "Oh Hi loon *Opens the window as she steps in going onto Stolas bed with a look* You still mad?" Asked Stolas as Loona glared "I am really sorry I threw you at him…the other mo-no Other father it was all I could think of" he said as Stolas gently patted her as Loona leaned in forgiving the chick as Stolas opened her bag revealing the three orbs "Its time…to set you free" he said as he placed them under his pillow as he laid down gently as Loona slept next to her as he went to sleep.

(Dream)

Stolas eyes slowly opening finding him floating in a beautiful place of blues and purples creating beautiful golden patterns as he looked ahead and saw three golden angels…the ghost children as a beautiful chiming noise was heared as he smiled happy to see them as they saw him "Its you" they said in unison, the hellhound was named Lincion Loud, the taller imp was named Sally May and the shorter imp was named Barbie wire "Its a fine fine thing you did for us little owl" said Lincion as Stolas smiled "I am just glad its finally over" he said as the angels shared a look that was concern and serious as they looked at Stolas "It is over and done for…for us" said Lincion as Stolas was worried "What about me?" He asked as Sally may flew close "You are still in terrible danger hun" she said "How? I locked the door" he asked as the key was tugged close as he grabbed it "Its the key there is only one and Mammon will find it and start the cycle over again" said Lincion as Stolas looked down but felt the embrace of the children "Its ok, you are alive, you are still living with your life ahead of you" said Barbie gently as the world spinned as Stolas closed his eyes

(Reality)

And woke with a gasp as the owlet checked under the pillow as all the balls even the rubber ball were broken like hatched eggs as he stared at them and then pulled out the key he kept around his neck as a necklace "I-I got to hide this somewhere somewhere he can never…" he stuttered worried as he looked out the window and got an idea as he ran out in the quiet of his home out the back door as Loona blocked the way worried "I am sorry Loona but I need to do this" he said pushing her aside as he ran out the door.

However from the little door Mammons hand managed to crawl from underneath and got free as it scuttled like a spider with a plan in motion, to get the key and get Stolas for his revenge.

Authors note: Stolas may have won but Mammon is still on the warpath and will make sure he gets Stolas in his claws.

Next chapter is the finale as Mammons hand tried to snag the key to free himself from his prison and get back Stolas but a freind in deed is there to help stop the hand
