Really glad to be a human again, one thing Cody was really glad to be was; now he can play video games again since feathered wings probably would have been too light to press or tap the buttons on the controller. Plus, he wouldn't be able to keep his balance if he used his talons to press the buttons instead. In Wally's ice cream shop, the human kid was glad to have this again. It was over a week since he had ice cream at Wally Wackford's parlor.
"I say, I say, I say," said Wally, checking on the boy and his adopted big hellhound sister. "Are y'all enjoyin' yer tasty ice cream?"
"Yes." Cody pointed. "Nice to enjoy it again."
"Well, i heard you transformed into a pigeon."
"It was a falcon, dumbass." Loona rolled her eyes
"Oh. I'm sorry, i say. A falcon. A pretty bird, i do declare."
"How do you even know that?" said Loona, looking a little suspicious on how a fun, carny-like imp knew about this whole fiasco.
"Well, duh! I follow you guys." he pulled out his phone. "He posted some pictures of ya as a falcon, Cody. And, i gotta say; you look rather-"
"Please don't call me cute." Cody groaned with his hands over his face
"Cody..." Loona gently reprimanded him.
"Right. Right. It's a compliment, not a baby name." The boy sighed
"You bet in Sam Hill it is a compliment, Cody-Boy." Wally gave the kid somewhat rough pat on the back. "Must have been fun for you to fly."
"Admittedly, it was fun." Cody said. "Though i'm probably not going to wish on shooting stars anymore."
"It wasn't the star." Loona smirked whike nodding her head sideways. "You know it was Andrealphus's fault."
"The gay-ass Snowbird?" said Wally. "What did ya do to upset him."
"Nothing." The female hellhound rolled her eyes. "No one upsetted him. If he did, he would probably freeze me and Cody, then break us into a million tiny pieces if ice, and blood. That stupid ice bird turned Cody into a falcon to grant his wish. I don't even believe in that shit anyway."
"But Stolas made the antidote for me and here i am."
"Hehehe. Well it's good to see ya back to normal Cody. Anyway, can i get you a drink perhaps?"
"Maybe some lemonade please?" Cody asked nicely.
Wally made a small, hearty chuckle before saying: "Comin' right up, little man."
As the carny demon went to fetch the boy the drink he wanted, Loona said: "The next time i see Andrealphus, i'll give him a piece of my mind, starting by ripping that beak off his face." she even cracked her knuckles to prove her point. 'Then pluck all of his feathers and turn him into fried chicken."
"I thought he's a peacock?" said Cody
"Right, right. Of course."
"Besides, wouldn't killing him get us in big trouble?"
"Not if we got Stolas and Lucifer on our side." the female hellhound boasted. "Don't worry about me, Cody. There's nothing that can possibly stop this Hellhound."
"He might freeze you." said Cody.
"Pfft, it'll take a lot more than being incased in ice to stop me."
"Please don't, Loona. I lost my parents, and my uncle, but i don't want to lose you too."
Loona frowned hearing that. "Oh Cody, don't think like that." she reassured him. "I'll be fine. Besides, I know that i am one of the best things that ever happened to you."
Cody smiled.
The next day, Cody was walking down a street in his hometown with his best friend Tyler. There was nothing like a nice walk between two best friends as they were on their way to the arcade.
"So back up," Tyler said, "you got turned into a falcon?"
"Yeah. It was Andrealphus' fault. He gave it to me as my wish on a shooting star. I never even wanted to be a falcon in the first place. Even though it was pretty cool being able to actually fly."
"I wish I was a falcon now." Tyler admitted
"Trust me, you don't wanna go there, Tyler." Cody rolled his eyes. As they made it to the arcade, they noticed a flyer on the bulletin board, and both boys gasped to see what appeared to be a bulky man with long blonde hair in a mullet. He looked a little like Dog the Bounty Hunter.
"Oh my god." Cody said. "Blade Slice is coming to town!"
"The greatest martial artist in the world?" Tyler said.
"Yeah, get this! It says; he is staying in town for three days." Cody gave a big grin. "Blade is coming for a martial arts show at the Big Guys Ampitheater!"
"How much is it?" Asked his best friend
"About... fifty dollars to see the show, and a hundred to meet and greet him."
"That's a lot of money." Tyler frowned
"i'll get us in there." Cody rebuffed.
"How are we going to get in that show?"
"Look, i'll take care of it."
At his apartment, Cody was explaining to Loona and Blitzo about how one of his favorite people of all time was coming to his hometown to give a show. Loona and Blitzo were sitting on the couch while Cody was standing in front of them, explaining. "So he'll be here for three days." He said. "The money is not that nuch to buy."
"Hmm, that guy sounds like a badass." said Loona.
"Very badass." siad Blitzo. "And i'm glad you remember that you can convert Hell Money into Earth money.
"Ah ok." Loona said. "I'll take a look and see if Saturday will be a good day to see him."
"Yes!" Cody jumped in joy before hugging the female hellhound.
Saturday
at last the day came that Blade Slice is going to perform on the second day of his show. Cody and Loona (in her human disguise) were a little surprised to see how many were waiting in line to see him. It was like a rock concert instead of a martial arts show.
