Chapter 5: True Colours

Ben was roaming across the streets as he decided to take break, he visited electronics store to find new video games and he took his favourite smoothies and chilli fries to eat he is sitting at a park munching on his food.

WATCH TOWER

Batman called for a meeting, as he told them its an important matter, so they all came to find what batman wanted to discuss.

"so batman what's the important matter you wanted to discuss" asked flash.

Batman showed them some videos the whole league was surprised by seeing them.

"are you all seeing what I am seeing" asked flash.

"impossible" said wonder woman.

"it is true batman?" aksed superman.

"I don't believe it" said flash.

"but it's the truth" said batman.

"hey batman are you not planning something to lable him as criminal" aksed flash.

This angered batman "I know you didn't liked him and he doesn't follow your orders, did you confirmed them" asked flash.

"not need does any one can do like that" asked batman.

The video of bens aliens stealing highly technologically equipment was playing while they are discussing.

"batman has a point only ben has the ability to transform" said wonder woman.

"we needed to capture him as soon as possible lest he might escape" said batman.

On Earth

Ben is on his way to his home but he noticed somebody Is following him so moved fast to find who it was as he was moving he diana standing near his house.

"hi diana what are you doing here" asked ben, but he noticed her expression he stood on his guard.

"nothing ben we need to discuss something so I came to take to you watchtower as you took your day off" said diana.

He pondered for a moment "well could it wait a few minutes I need to take a bath" asked ben.

"make it fast" said diana, as they both are entering into bens house.

Diana noticed bens house its full of empty chilli fires boxes and smoothie cups "sorry I didn't expect anyone to come to my house" said ben while cleaning them.

"don't worry we need to be quick go and get a bath" said Diana.

She stood in the hall as ben entered his bedroom "he entered his bedroom" said diana into the commlink.

Lantern was waitng on nearby roof top of bens house.

Ben pondered on whats happening and he heard diana talking to someone, his suspicions grew.

"Something is not right" he muttered to himself.

He heard diana knocking the door "ben come out".

His suspicions grew more, diana opened the door in her wonder woman outfit.

"if you come with me there will be no problems" said diana.

"no way" then ben immediately transformed into xlr8 and ran outside the house, he noticed flash was chasing him he saw superman also flying in air.

Ben's heart raced as he darted through the streets, his mind racing to keep up with the events unfolding around him. XLR8's speed allowed him to weave between cars, vault over fences, and make sharp turns, but the combined force of the Justice League was closing in on him. He could feel the ground trembling as Superman flew overhead, his eyes glowing with an intense focus. Beneath him, Flash was gaining ground with every stride, his red costume a blur.

"Ben, stop! We just want to talk," Flash called out, his voice echoing in the wind, but Ben wasn't listening. He couldn't afford to.

Ahead of him, Diana—Wonder Woman—landed in his path, blocking the way with her shield raised. "You can't outrun all of us," she said sternly, her voice firm but calm.

Ben didn't slow down. He pivoted on his heel, boosting his speed to match the acceleration of a sports car, as he turned sharply down a side street. The sound of Green Lantern's ring whirring to life filled the air, and suddenly a green energy construct—a giant hand—shot out to snatch at Ben.

"Not today!" Ben thought, ducking just as the hand tried to grab him, narrowly avoiding being caught. But that was only a momentary victory.

From above, Superman swooped in, faster than the eye could track. "Ben!" he called out. "You're only making things worse for yourself."

But Ben wasn't about to stop now. He had to think, had to act fast. He shot a glance behind him and saw Martian Manhunter hovering in the air, his eyes glowing with psychic power, while Aquaman leaped over buildings with surprising agility, landing ahead of Ben on the street.

Batman, silent and methodical, appeared from the shadows, blocking his path with a sharp, calculated movement. "You can't escape," Batman's deep voice came through his cowl's speakers, calm and ominous.

Ben skidded to a stop. He couldn't outrun them forever. They were the Justice League. Powerful. Relentless. He had to think of something—anything—to break free.

It was a last-ditch effort, and his heart pounded with the adrenaline of the chase. Would it work? Would it buy him enough time to escape?

The sound of their footsteps—and the whooshing of air from their pursuit—filled the air behind him as Ben raced through the city. The Justice League was close, but Ben knew one thing: he wasn't giving up without a fight.

They went outside of the city ben decided to take action he stopped and transformed into ghostfreak and waited for the league to arrive.

As the Justice League reached the clearing, they slowed to a stop, scanning the area, their eyes searching for any sign of him. Wonder Woman raised her shield, her senses on high alert, while Green Lantern's ring pulsed with energy as he cast a green light over the surroundings. Martian Manhunter's eyes glowed as he extended his telepathic senses, trying to reach into the minds around him.

"We know you're here, Ben," Superman's voice echoed through the air. "There's no way out."

Ben remained perfectly still, his presence all but gone as he used Ghostfreak's abilities to phase through the ground, sinking deeper into the earth. The League's confusion grew, but they had no idea what they were up against.

Green Lantern narrowed his eyes, the green aura around his ring flaring brighter. "I don't like this... Something's wrong."

"Where did he go?" Aquaman growled, scanning the area with his trident raised.

Batman's sharp mind was working quickly. "He could have phased through the ground, but... we need to be careful. Ghostfreak's abilities are unpredictable."

"Wait for it," Wonder Woman said, holding up her hand. "Ben's smart. He's playing a game."

Ben's ghostly form, invisible and intangible, watched from below. His enemies were too focused on the physical world to notice his shift. He floated deeper, out of reach of their sight and senses. For now, he was free to strike. The League had underestimated him before—and he was about to use that to his advantage.

Ben's ethereal form flickered as he watched the Justice League struggle to understand what was happening. The sound of their heartbeats echoed in his mind as he slowly inched closer to Superman, the strongest of them all. The perfect target.

He'd played his part as Ghostfreak, keeping them distracted, but now it was time for something far more dangerous.

With a thought, Ben's translucent form surged toward Superman. The Man of Steel had no warning, no chance to react, Ghostfreak entered his body like a dark cloud. Ben felt Superman's immense strength, his invulnerability, his speed—it was all at his fingertips now. He could feel the pulse of Kryptonian energy coursing through him, the power of the entire planet flowing beneath his control.

Superman began to clutched is head in pain.

"What... what's happening to him?" Wonder Woman shouted, seeing Superman's posture shift from heroic to unsettlingly menacing. He looked confused for a moment—then his eyes narrowed, glowing with malicious intent. His voice, once calm and noble, was now warped, distorted by Ben's presence inside him.

"Get away from me," Superman growled, but it was not Superman's voice. Ben had fully taken control now, his consciousness overriding that of the Kryptonian hero.

Green Lantern's ring shot out, forming a massive energy construct in the shape of a fist, aimed at "Superman." "No more games, Ben. Let him go!"

But Ben, now using Superman's body, effortlessly dodged the attack, his speed far beyond what Green Lantern expected. He twisted in midair and retaliated with a punch so strong it sent Green Lantern flying backward through the sky. The force of the blow shook the ground, causing a deep crater to form beneath them.

"Ben, stop this!" Batman's voice rang out, his tactical mind immediately calculating a plan of action. He shot a grappling hook, aiming to restrain Superman's movements, but Ben was already too quick, too powerful. He shot forward, dodging Batman's attack, and with a crushing grip, he slammed Batman into a nearby building.

Wonder Woman charged forward, her shield raised and her sword gleaming. "You think you can control him, Ben? You're wrong!" she cried, swinging her blade with precision.

But Ben, with Superman's strength, caught the sword mid-swing, crushing it with a single hand. Wonder Woman was caught off guard as he used her own momentum against her, throwing her across the battlefield. She landed hard, groaning but still conscious.

"Fools," Ben's voice echoed from Superman's mouth, now fully possessed by Ghostfreak. "You think you can stop me? I have the power of the Man of Steel. You are nothing!"

Martian Manhunter, floating above them, tried to reach into Ben's mind, using his telepathic abilities to force him out of Superman's body. But Ben was ready for this, and he turned Superman's Kryptonian mind into a mental fortress, blocking out the psychic assault.

"You can't touch me, J'onn," Ben taunted, his voice chilling and malicious as he pushed Martian Manhunter away with a mental blast, sending him crashing to the ground below.

Aquaman leaped into action, brandishing his trident and attacking with fierce precision. He aimed directly for Superman's chest, hoping to pierce the invulnerable skin—but Ben effortlessly dodged, using Superman's reflexes to avoid the strike. In an instant, Ben grabbed Aquaman by the throat and hurled him into the ocean with a massive shockwave of force.

"You cannot defeat me," Ben sneered, his voice now a twisted mockery of Superman's deep tones. "This is just the beginning."

The entire Justice League was on their back foot. They had never faced an enemy who could control one of their own, let alone with such devastating power. Batman, bruised and battered, stood up shakily, analyzing the situation.

"We need to work together," Batman said through gritted teeth, his eyes narrowed with determination. "There's no other way. We have to stop Ben before he goes too far."

Superman—no, Ben, in Superman's body—looked down at them, his expression hardening. "Come at me, then. I'll take you all on." He raised his fists, charging toward the remaining members of the Justice League, ready to unleash chaos.

The League was outclassed, but they had one advantage—they knew each other better than anyone. They had fought side by side countless times. They were more than a team; they were a family. And even against overwhelming power, they wouldn't give up.

Green Lantern regrouped, creating a cage of energy around Ben to hold him for just a moment. "We can't let him keep this body. We have to break the possession!"

Batman and Wonder Woman nodded in unison. "We need to separate Ben from Superman," Batman said.

Martian Manhunter and Aquaman, though weakened, prepared for their next moves.

Ben, still laughing in his possession of Superman, didn't care. But he didn't realize one thing: the Justice League never backs down from a fight.

This wasn't over—not yet.

Ben, fully possessed in Superman's body, felt an exhilarating surge of power. With Superman's strength, speed, and durability, he was almost untouchable. The Justice League had no chance, he thought. They were scattered, desperate, trying to come at him from all angles, but they were too slow, too weak.

With a sinister smile on his face, Ben—through Superman's eyes—stared down at the League, ready to crush them one by one.

Green Lantern was the first to charge again, his ring flaring as he formed a massive construct to restrain Superman—his Superman. But Ben simply flexed, shattering the energy construct with ease. He then lunged at Green Lantern, catching him mid-air, and with a single crushing blow to the chest, sent him flying unconscious into the distance.

"One down," Ben muttered, his voice now a twisted echo of Superman's.

Next, Wonder Woman lunged forward, her sword flashing as she attempted to strike at Ben's side. But in an instant, Superman—Ben—dodged the attack, sidestepping with terrifying precision. He grabbed her wrist mid-swing, his grip tightening like a vice. Wonder Woman struggled, but Ben just smirked, tightening his hold until the Amazonian warrior crumpled to the ground, unconscious, her sword falling uselessly beside her.

"A valiant effort, Diana," Ben taunted, his voice laced with mockery. "But futile."

Martian Manhunter descended from above, his telepathic powers flaring as he attempted to break through Ben's mental fortress. He reached into Superman's mind to try to force Ben out, but Ben was ready for him. With a mental twist, Ben sent a wave of psychic energy back at J'onn, knocking the Martian unconscious in mid-air, his body crashing into the earth below with a force that left a crater.

"You're all so predictable," Ben sneered. "No one can touch me."

Aquaman leapt forward, trident raised high. He wasn't one to back down, no matter the odds. But Ben—Superman—caught the trident mid-thrust, effortlessly bending it in half and tossing it aside. He then grabbed Aquaman by the throat, lifting him off the ground with ease, and slammed him into the side of a nearby cliff. Aquaman crumpled, unconscious before he even hit the ground.

"Pathetic," Ben muttered, letting Aquaman fall to the side.

Finally, Batman, bruised and battered but determined, charged in, throwing a barrage of gadgets—Batarangs, explosive devices, and EMP grenades—all designed to disorient and incapacitate. But Ben, using Superman's superhuman reflexes, easily dodged every attack, moving with inhuman speed. He caught one of the explosive devices mid-air, disarmed it, and then hurled it back at Batman.

Batman tried to recover, but Ben was too fast. In a blur of motion, he slammed his fist into Batman's chest with a bone-shattering punch. The Dark Knight crumpled to the ground, his body battered and broken, unconscious before he even hit the dirt.

Finally he noticed flash didn't attacked him he waited paitently suddenly he bend down and pulled flash leg to trip him down superman holding flash in his hand throwed him which knocked him unconscious.

"All of you are too weak," Ben said coldly, his voice echoing from Superman's mouth. He stood over the fallen members of the Justice League, surveying the damage he had caused. They were all defeated, knocked unconscious in a matter of minutes. The heroes he had once admired were now nothing more than helpless victims.

So ben decided to leave supermans body he waited for him to get to his senses.

He took a notice of his surroundings he saw his team was unconcious "what happened ?".

"Don't you know superman? You attacked your friends" taunted ben.

superman realised what happened "you" superman rushed to attack him ben phased through him gave a mental shock to superman which made him weak.

Then ben transformed into waybig and took superman into his hands and throwed him like a ball then ben left the place.

A few hours later diana regained consciousness she took the notice of her surroundings all her team was unconscious she regained her bearings and went the wake up all her team.

"what happened?" asked flash.

"ben happened" said lantern.

"he poscessed superman to defeat us" said wonderwoman.

"but where is superman?" asked flash.

"may be ben tookhim to somewhere else" said batman.

"hello guys" called a voice.

They turned to see it was superman they immediately took their fighting stance.

"wait wait its me superman ben possessed me and attacked you and he sent me to moon" said superman.

"how should we believe you?" asked batman.

"listen to his voice his voice is clear and his eyes are also normal" said diana.

"so where is ben?" asked superman.

"don't know we need to find him" said batman.

Then batman got a alert.

"there is a robbery in star labs it might be ben" said batman.

Then they rushed to starlabs.

AT starlabs

Bigchill was phasing through the doors and security was trying their best to stop it but no avail.

Then he was hit by superman "surrender ben you cant escape?" said superman.

Bigchill laughed and went intangible superman used his x ray to find ben but he couldn't hit him.

Then bigchill phased through superman to freeze him.

"hey who are and why are you looking me and why are you having the omnitrix" asked a voice.

Superman turned to see who it was its ben in human from, and he was surprised to see two bens and bigchill was surprised to see ben.

Bigchill tried to run but ben transformed into echo echo to stop him bigchill tried to transform he transformed into rath.

"let me tell ya some thing echo echo no one messes with rath" said rath and he ran to attack echo echo.

Echo echo cloned himself so the sonic waves increased, rath clutched his head as he was unable to bear the pain he jumped out of the building.

Immediately he was hitted by fire as ben transformed to swamfire as they thought a intense fight would go both of them transformed back, the league arrived and surprised to see two bens but one is different he having white hair and red pupils.

Before ben could ask who is he a portal opened both recognises the portal.

"albedo you fool" called a voice.

Ben recognised the voice.

He rushed at the portal he saw azmuth and paradox exiting the portal.

"azmuth what are you doing here and who is he looking like me and has omnitrix" asked ben.

"albedo do you what problem you caused" asked azmuth.

"what choice I had I am vexed by living in this human body" said albedo.

"albedo I heard this name" said ben.

"what you are albedo of galvan azmuth's assistant" said ben.

"former assistant" said albedo.

"but why are you looking like me?" asked ben.

"he intented to have omnitrix but as I said there should be only one omnitrix but he didn't listened to me and made an omnitirx for him self but his omnitrix is connected to your omnitrix and the default DNA is yours due to his mistake he transformed like you" said azmuth.

"but what is he doing here? Asked ben.

"all I needed is to transform back from this human body so I needed the equipment its difficult to get those in our dimension so I traversed to this dimension but I didn't expect ben Tennyson to be here" said albedo.

Then azmuth took the core from albedo's omnitrix "this is your punishment" said azmuth.

"ben Tennyson I heard good things about continue what you are doing" said azmuth.

"is there a chance to get back to my dimension?" asked ben.

"no there should be only one omnitrix" said azmuth.

"so then tell me how grandpa and gwen and the other me" asked ben.

"they are fine ben they stopped the hybrid invasion" said paradox.

"is there a way to see them" asked ben.

"sorry ben" said paradox.

"what will you do with him?" asked ben pointing at albedo.

"he needs to pay his sentence" said azmuth.

"then turn him back if you don't want further problems" said azmuth.

"no he needed to pay for what he had done" said azmuth.

"doing this will cause more problems did you forgot what happened with malware" asked ben.

Azmuth sighed "okay Tennyson I will turn him back" then azmuth placed the core back and tinkered with it and then albedo transformed back into his galvan form then azmuth removed the core and hadcuffed albedo.

"Our job has completed we are leaving" said azmuth.

"goodbye ben take care" said paradox.

They disappeared ben was standing silent superman approached ben.

"ben we " before he could speak.

"lets go to mount justice there is lot to talk" said ben.
