Hello everyone, my name is Hyrolax25 and I hope you are very well hehe, I am very happy to share with you my first Pokémon story and especially my favorite shipping (PikachuxSnivy). I'm not going to deceive you that it took me an hour to post my story here, I had a few tangles on this website and besides that I had to make some tweaks in my story since it had several bugs. I hope you enjoy it a lot.
In a secluded corner of the forest in the Unova region, a Snivy, gravely injured, leapt from branch to branch. The branches creaked softly under her weight as she tried to keep her balance and move forward, weakened by her wounds.
Snivy moved slowly through the forest, her body weakened and covered in wounds. Memories of recent traumatic events still echoed in her mind, filling her with a mix of sadness and courage. In her current state, she faced the harsh reality of surviving alone. The physical pain of her injuries was almost matched by a deep emotional pain. During those two days in the forest, she had to fight numerous wild Pokémon, defending herself to survive. Each encounter had left her more battered and exhausted, yet her fighting spirit remained strong.
Every step was a struggle to keep going, her breathing labored and her movements less precise than usual. She felt an intense need to cry but forced herself not to, as she didn't want to appear weak—neither to herself nor to the forest around her.
To make matters worse, winter was beginning, which meant she would have to find or make a shelter to protect herself from the impending cold. The air was already starting to chill, and Snivy could feel the bite of the wind through her green body. Each passing day, the nights grew colder and longer, and the time to find a suitable shelter was running out. Food was also a concern. While she wouldn't have it as hard thanks to her ability to perform photosynthesis with the sun's rays, winter meant less sunlight and more challenges in obtaining the energy she needed.
So, in one final leap, the little green serpent decided to jump to the ground, opting to walk to conserve energy. Barely able to maintain her balance, the branches creaked dangerously. Her vision began to blur from exhaustion, but she had no other choice. The cold ground felt like momentary relief as her legs touched solid earth. Walking slowly, she set out to find a safe place to rest and recover. The fight for survival continued, but she wasn't willing to give up.
"Just a little more, Snivy," she whispered to herself, her voice barely audible. "You can't give up now."
As she struggled forward, Snivy muttered words of encouragement, trying to maintain her courage despite the pain that consumed her. "You must find a safe place. You must survive," she repeated, her determination battling against the growing despair.
The forest floor was covered in fallen leaves, cushioning her steps, but every movement sent waves of pain through her body. The cold air bit at her green skin, causing her to shiver. She could hear the crunching of branches and the soft whisper of the wind around her—a constant reminder of the loneliness and danger she faced.
Despite the pain and exhaustion, our Snivy continued moving forward, focusing on each step as a small victory. "You must be strong," she reminded herself again and again. "Don't give up."
Her strength was fading fast, and every breath was a battle against collapse. But the idea of finding shelter, of escaping the cold and looming darkness, gave her the drive to keep going. "Just a little more," she told herself, her eyes struggling to stay open as she continued walking through the forest in search of a place to take refuge.
Not far away, a Pikachu was slowly waking up in his cozy burrow. The sunlight filtered gently through the leaves covering the entrance, creating a warm and peaceful atmosphere. The young electric mouse stretched with a yawn and twitched his ears, enjoying the comfort of his home.
Stepping outside his burrow, Pikachu smiled as he felt the first rays of sunlight on his skin. The forest was alive with activity, and the fresh morning air carried with it the promise of new adventures. Pikachu inhaled deeply, appreciating the sweet aroma of flowers and damp earth.
"What a beautiful day!" he thought cheerfully as he looked around. The song of Pidove and the murmur of a nearby stream filled his ears with a calm and welcoming melody. Pikachu felt full of energy and excitement, ready to explore and enjoy all that the day had to offer.
With a smile on his face, he headed to a small lake to wash his face. Today was another perfect day in the forest, and he was determined to make the most of it.
After finishing his wash, Pikachu returned to his burrow and went to a corner where he kept several small baskets made of leaves and branches from the forest. Carefully, he picked out two small baskets to use for gathering apples that day. Pikachu had been living in this forest his entire life, exploring its nooks and crannies, making friends at every part he visited, and enjoying the beauty of nature.
As Pikachu prepared for his day, he once again heard the sound of Pidove singing in the nearby trees. He paused for a moment to enjoy the sweet song before leaving his burrow. With a smile on his face and an adventurous spirit, he began his walk toward the northern part of the stream in search of fresh apples. Just north of the stream, where apples were abundant, he knew it was the perfect spot to gather and store them for the winter season.
He savored each step, appreciating the crisp morning air and the fragrance of wildflowers. He continued his journey, letting the sound of the water and the birds' singing accompany him. Finally, after several minutes of walking, he reached a vast area filled with apple trees. Pikachu approached one of these trees and set the baskets on the ground before quickly climbing the tree. He began searching among the lower branches, enjoying the fresh aroma of ripe fruit.
With agility, he selected the largest and ripest apples, tossing them precisely into the baskets on the ground. Each apple fell gently, gradually filling the baskets.
"Alright, this should be enough apples for almost the whole winter," Pikachu murmured to himself as he continued gathering. "Wow, this place is so peaceful. It's perfect for working without distractions," he said, satisfied with his progress as he kept collecting apples, filling one basket after another.
Meanwhile, back with Snivy, she had reached a wide clearing in the forest—a surprisingly open area that seemed like a good place to rest. The ground was covered in dry leaves, and there was a large flat rock in the center, perfect for lying down and soaking up the sunlight. Some fallen trees formed a sort of natural barrier around the clearing, providing a sense of security. Sunlight filtered through the treetops, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
"Hm, this seems like an excellent spot for me," she said, looking around and wondering if any Pokémon were nearby. The only sounds were the soft murmur of the wind and the crunching of leaves underfoot. She felt a bit more relieved to find such a peaceful spot. Upon closer inspection, Snivy noticed several rocks scattered around the clearing and fallen logs that formed small natural shelters. Some wild plants grew between the rocks, adding a touch of green to the surroundings. A couple of large mushrooms grew in the shade of a fallen tree, and small yellow and white flowers dotted the ground here and there.
She approached the large flat rock in the center of the clearing and, with a sigh of relief, lay down on it. The surface of the rock was warm from the sun, and the heat began to soothe her aching muscles. She closed her eyes for a moment, letting the tranquil environment and sunlight comfort her.
About ten minutes passed as Snivy enjoyed the warmth of the rock and the soft murmur of the wind through the trees. However, a noise caught Snivy's attention. In the shadows at the edge of the clearing, something was moving. "Who's there?" she asked firmly, extending her Vine Whip in warning, though inside she felt vulnerable.
Then, out of the shadows, a Whirlipede appeared, spinning rapidly toward her. With its hard, segmented exoskeleton and bright yellow eyes, Whirlipede resembled a moving wheel. "Oh, for Arceus' sake!" Snivy thought as the Bug/Poison-type Pokémon charged straight at her, attempting to roll her over at that very moment. Snivy quickly leapt to the side, narrowly dodging Whirlipede's attack.
Whirlipede, after missing its first attack, quickly turned around and charged at Snivy again. This time, she was ready. She swiftly decided to jump upward, avoiding the Bug Pokémon's second assault. Meanwhile, Whirlipede crashed into a large rock, causing a loud crash and leaving it momentarily saw this and, furious, yelled, "What's wrong with you, lunatic?! Can't you see you almost killed me?!" Whirlipede, snapping out of its daze, responded, "Me, a lunatic? Can't you see you're in my territory, you fool?! This place is mine and mine alone! I won't let anyone take it from me!"
Anger burned in Snivy's eyes as she heard the insult. "How dare he talk to me like that?!" she thought, forming a Leaf Blade on her tail.
Taking the opportunity, Snivy lunged at Whirlipede, landing a solid hit on the Bug Pokémon. The attack struck with force, sending Whirlipede crashing into some rocks and raising a large cloud of dust.
"Don't you dare call me that again!" Snivy hissed furiously as she turned toward the forest, trying to escape the confrontation. She knew she wasn't in the condition to fight that bug, and every second counted in finding another safe place to recover. However, in her attempt to flee, she let her guard down, and Whirlipede seized the opportunity. Recovering quickly, Whirlipede launched its Rollout attack at full speed toward Snivy. She realized it too late and was hit hard, collapsing to the ground, battered and even weaker.
As she tried to get up, she thought to herself, "Ugh, for Arceus' sake! And all this just because I'm in its territory? Why do such absurd things always happen to me? Damn it!" She managed to stand, but she was still struggling to maintain her balance. She looked in the direction of the lunatic and saw it standing several meters away, watching her. Squinting her eyes, she tried to see what it was plotting and noticed a purple aura surrounding Whirlipede—it was preparing a Poison-type attack.
In one last effort, Snivy decided to escape toward the other side of the clearing, trying to flee the threat. However, Whirlipede, noticing her attempt to escape, began launching several Sludge Bombs to stop her. Snivy struggled to dodge the attacks, but her movements grew increasingly clumsy due to exhaustion. The venomous explosions stirred up the ground and splattered her with poison, making it even harder for her to move.
"Please, stop! Leave me alone!" she shouted, her voice breaking from exhaustion as she continued dodging the Sludge Bombs.
Whirlipede paused momentarily and let out a mocking laugh. "Leave you alone? Ha! You need to learn not to trespass on others' territory! This is my home, and I won't let anyone invade it," it responded threateningly, continuing to gather energy for its Poison attack.
Meanwhile, Pikachu had finished filling the two baskets. Just as he was about to return to his home, he stopped for a moment and stood still, listening. He heard sounds of destruction and battle coming from further ahead."What's going on? That doesn't sound good," Pikachu said, a mix of curiosity and concern in his decided to investigate. Taking small steps, his senses sharpened by the growing tension, Pikachu moved cautiously toward the source of the commotion. Curiosity and worry pushed him to discover what was happening up ahead. In his hands, he was still holding the baskets full of apples. Looking to his left, he spotted some small bushes. He approached them and carefully hid the baskets among the leaves.
"Alright, I hope they're safe here," he said as he tucked the baskets into the bushes. Then, he looked in the direction of the battle sounds and readied himself to head there. Dropping onto all fours, Pikachu darted quickly toward the source of the noise. The distance was considerable, but he moved with great speed. A sense of urgency and responsibility drove him; something terrible could be happening there, and he couldn't ignore it. This forest was his home and that of many other Pokémon, and he wouldn't let anything or anyone endanger it. His mind was focused on defending his home with all his strength.
Pikachu arrived at the scene and hid among some bushes to carefully observe the situation. He saw a Snivy dodging venomous attacks from a Whirlipede that appeared much stronger and more aggressive. Snivy was clearly at a disadvantage; her movements were slow, and her injuries were evident. Pikachu felt an urge to help but first decided to assess the situation to find the best moment to intervene.
Snivy, exhausted and gasping for breath, was barely able to dodge the relentless Sludge Bombs Whirlipede hurled at her. Each explosion raised a cloud of mud and poison, heightening her desperation and causing her to stumble. One of the bombs exploded near her, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the ground. The nearby impact left her stunned, and she closed her eyes from the pain. Before she could recover, another Sludge Bomb whizzed past her head, leaving her even more vulnerable and desperate.
"I can't just stand here watching and doing nothing," Pikachu thought, readying himself to help the next Sludge Bomb was about to hit Snivy, Pikachu darted out of the bushes with surprising speed. In the blink of an eye, he fired a Thunderbolt at the Sludge Bomb. The two attacks collided in mid-air, creating an explosion of sparks and sludge that dissipated harmlessly. Seizing the opportunity, Pikachu launched another attack, this time unleashing a powerful Volt Tackle directly at Whirlipede. The strike hit the Bug/Poison Pokémon squarely, resulting in a large explosion that sent it reeling backward.
Whirlipede flew toward the trunk of a tree with force, shaking the dust off its exoskeleton. Stunned from the impact, it slowly raised its head, blinking furiously as it scanned in all directions. Its yellow eyes sparkled with a mix of aggression and confusion as it desperately searched for the intruder who had dared to attack it. Growling, its stance tensed, signaling that it was ready to charge again.
Snivy looked up, still panting, to see who had saved her from that attack. To her astonishment, she saw a Pikachu, its cheeks still sparking with electricity and its gaze determined. Before she could fully process what was happening, Pikachu ran quickly to her side and stopped.
Turning to Snivy, Pikachu's expression softened with concern. "Are you alright, miss?" he asked in a firm yet kind voice. Snivy, still surprised by the intervention, felt a mix of relief and gratitude. "Yes… thank you… for helping me," Snivy replied in a faint and shaky voice, struggling to get up despite her extreme exhaustion. "May I ask… your name?"
"My name is Pikachu," he answered with a slight nod of his head, extending a paw to help her up. "I saw the fight from afar and couldn't ignore what was happening. I couldn't stand idly by while you were in danger," he added with a reassuring smile. Snivy accepted the help, rising with difficulty as she tried to steady herself. "My name is… Snivy," she said with a shaky voice, clearly worn out. "I am… deeply grateful to you, Pikachu," she added, faintly smiling—a reflection of both her fatigue and her heartfelt gratitude.
At that very moment, both heard a sound behind them, resembling the noise of a cicada. Snivy turned her head alarmed, but before she could react, Pikachu had already stepped forward, positioning himself between her and the source of the sound. His body tensed slightly as his cheeks began sparking with electricity once more.
Whirlipede, visibly furious, emerged, moving its antennae frantically. Its exoskeleton bore cracks from the impact of the previous attack, but that didn't seem to hinder its rage. Its yellow eyes gleamed with renewed fury as it shouted, "This cannot be! Another one invading my territory?! This is outrageous!" It yelled in frustration, preparing to attack the new stared Whirlipede down, lowering his stance, with his cheeks sparking slightly in warning. "Now you'll have to fight me! But I need you to give me a minute to take Snivy to a safe place so she doesn't get hurt during our fight," Pikachu declared with conviction.
Whirlipede, with its antennae twitching wildly, halted its advance for a brief moment, considering Pikachu's words. Despite its fury, the proposal piqued its curiosity, though its gaze remained loaded with aggression. "Take her? Ha! Do it quickly, intruder. I want to see if you really have what it takes to face me," it growled, holding its position but ready to strike at any moment.
Pikachu nodded gratefully and hurried to help Snivy move to a safer place. Carefully, he guided her to a large fallen log and helped her sit, making sure she was stable and as comfortable as possible. "Snivy, stay here. This spot is safe, and you'll be protected while I take care of this," Pikachu said seriously, placing a paw on her shoulder as a gesture of support. He then added with concern, "You need to rest and recover. Your wounds mustn't worsen."
Snivy, visibly struggling, settled herself on the log, her breathing still labored. She looked at him with eyes full of gratitude, faintly smiling. "Alright… I trust you," she murmured softly, exhausted but relieved by his presence. Before Pikachu walked away, Snivy looked at him again with a glimmer of worry in her tired eyes. "Hey… boy," she said in a faint, whispering voice, "please… be very careful."The electric mouse gave her a reassuring look. "Don't worry, miss. I promise I'll be fine and will handle this," Pikachu said, giving her a thumbs-up in encouragement. Then, he returned to the battlefield, ready to face Whirlipede. He assumed a fighting stance.
The atmosphere was tense; both opponents locked eyes. Pikachu decided to move slowly to the side, never taking his eyes off his adversary, evaluating Whirlipede's every movement. The tension in the air was palpable, and the silence was broken only by the crunching of leaves under Pikachu's feet and the faint electric hum emanating from his body.
Whirlipede spun around, its antennae vibrating with anger, tracking Pikachu's every step. With a growl, Whirlipede launched its attack, rolling frantically toward the Electric Pokémon at an astounding speed. Pikachu saw the attack coming and jumped aside, swiftly dodging it.
Without stopping, Whirlipede regained its position and charged at Pikachu again, determined not to let him escape. Its antennae shook violently as it rushed toward the electric Pokémon, its movements full of pure fury.
Pikachu, seeing the attack coming, smiled cunningly. With a swift motion, he used his tail as a spring, pressing it against the ground to propel himself into the air. As he ascended with agility, he looked at Whirlipede from above and couldn't help but let out a teasing laugh. Whirlipede, seeing Pikachu rise so easily, let out a frustrated growl, its antennae vibrating wildly as it tried to adjust its trajectory to avoid losing its target. Its movements grew increasingly erratic, reflecting the mix of anger and helplessness beginning to consume it.
"Hey, big guy, is that all you've got?" Pikachu taunted, briefly floating before landing gracefully a few meters away.
Whirlipede tensed its body, its eyes shining with rage as its antennae flailed furiously. "You insolent mouse! Stop running around and face me like a true warrior!" it roared, its voice full of challenge and frustration, ready to launch another attack.
Pikachu, maintaining his playful attitude, began to move nimbly around Whirlipede, laughing and throwing more provocations.
"Come on, big bug, is that all you've got? You'll need more than spinning around like a madman to hit me," Pikachu teased, dodging each charge with a smile on his face. His laughter echoed through the forest clearing, mingling with the sound of dry leaves crunching under his swift movements.
Whirlipede left a trail of dust and small stones behind him as he spun frantically, trying to keep up with his fast-moving opponent. The marks on the ground displayed his frustration, his antennae flailing uncontrollably as he attempted to readjust his direction.
"Shut up already! I'm going to crush you like the filthy rat you are!" roared Whirlipede in fury, speeding up his movement until a small whirlwind of dirt rose in his path. Despite his efforts, every attempt to catch Pikachu ended in failure, only intensifying his anger.
Furious, Whirlipede decided to change tactics and attacked with Poison Tail, his tail glowing with a purple light as he swung it at the electric mouse. Pikachu reacted quickly, his tail shining with a metallic glow as he used Iron Tail to block Whirlipede's attack. For a brief moment, a spark of adrenaline surged through his body upon seeing how close the strike had come, but instead of feeling fear, an excited grin spread across his face. The two tails collided forcefully, creating a burst of energy in the air. The impact was so strong that both Pokémon were sent flying backward, each recovering their stance after the clash.
Snivy, still wounded from her previous battle with Whirlipede, sat motionless on the large fallen log that Pikachu had chosen as her temporary refuge. Her breathing remained uneven, and the sharp pain from her injuries made her feel weak. Nonetheless, her eyes remained fixed on the battle unfolding before her.
Every time Whirlipede came dangerously close to Pikachu, a chill ran down her spine. Her heart pounded furiously, a mix of fear and growing desperation. "Why isn't that Pikachu taking this seriously?" she thought, as a knot of anguish tightened in her chest.
Finally, unable to contain her emotions, Snivy murmured in a barely audible voice laden with concern, "Pikachu… please stop playing around and finish this before you truly get hurt…"
Returning to the battle, Whirlipede continued launching frantic attacks at Pikachu. He spun from side to side and hurled Sludge Bombs whenever Pikachu moved away, but all his attacks were effortlessly dodged. Frustration and fury were evident in his movements as he desperately tried to reach his agile opponent. Pikachu moved with grace, dodging each charge and Sludge Bomb attack, teasing his adversary with agility.
"Pfft, I thought you'd be more of a challenge," Pikachu said as he made an agile leap. In the air, his tail began to glow with a metallic radiance. With a quick and precise motion, he swung a powerful Iron Tail directly at Whirlipede. The tail struck hard against Whirlipede's shell, creating a resonant sound that echoed throughout the clearing. Whirlipede was sent flying backward by the force of the impact, crashing into a nearby rock. The collision was so intense that it raised a cloud of dust and rock fragments, leaving Whirlipede stunned and landed softly on the ground, watching with satisfaction how his attack had managed to destabilize his opponent. "That was easier than I expected," he muttered, with a confident smile on his face.
But something unexpected happened—Whirlipede remained still. Pikachu noticed this and prepared for any tricks. Whirlipede, with trembling antennae and heavy breathing, stayed quiet for a moment as he stared furiously at Pikachu. It seemed endless, and then Pikachu, confused, said, "Ahhh, is something wrong? Aren't you going to keep attacking?" blinking several times while awaiting a response.
Suddenly, Whirlipede stopped breathing heavily and fixed his furious gaze on Pikachu. "You… YOU! You insolent rat! How dare you mock me?! Do you think you're superior?! Answer me!" Whirlipede exclaimed, a mix of frustration and rage as a purple aura enveloped his body.
Both Pikachu and Snivy were startled by Whirlipede's sudden shout of frustration. Snivy shuddered, her squinting eyes fixed on the furious Pokémon, as if anticipating the worst. Pikachu, on the other hand, waved his tail nonchalantly and took a step back, his cunning smile undisturbed."That's what I wanted to see, Whirlipede," said Pikachu, with a confident glint in his eyes. "Looks like I've struck a nerve."The atmosphere grew tense again. Suddenly, Whirlipede, with a gleam in his eyes, fired rapid and varied Sludge Bombs at Pikachu, who skillfully dodged them using Quick Attack. Without wasting time, Whirlipede continued his offensive, launching a series of Sludge Bombs one after another, trying to hit Pikachu, but the latter moved with incredible speed.
Seeing his attacks failing to land, Whirlipede decided to change tactics. He started rolling in circles around Pikachu, kicking up a huge amount of dirt and dust in his wake. At the same time, he emitted a loud and annoying Screech that stunned Pikachu, leaving him disoriented. The sound Whirlipede produced was so loud that it even reached Snivy. Struggling to maintain clarity, she covered her ears with her small hands, but the noise was deafening. "Pikachu, be careful!" yelled Snivy, trying to warn him of the imminent danger.
Taking advantage of the confusion, Whirlipede continued rolling, kicking up even more dirt and creating a cloud of dust that made it difficult for Pikachu to see. The Screech intensified, causing Pikachu to cover his ears with his paws while trying to stay upright, his movements wobbling.
In a quick and calculated move, Whirlipede charged at Pikachu, brutally ramming him and using Pursuit. Pikachu, blinded and stunned by the dust and noise, couldn't react in time and was hurled forcefully into a nearby tree. The impact echoed throughout the clearing, shaking the tree branches and making leaves fall to the ground. Pikachu gasped in pain as he tried to get up, desperately rubbing his eyes full of dust.
"Pikachu!" yelled Snivy, leaping from the log she had been sitting on when she saw the yellow mouse being hurled through the air. Worried, she ran a few steps toward him, but her wounds and exhaustion caused her to stagger before collapsing to the ground. Frustrated, she struck the ground with her small hands, letting out a hiss of anger as she watched Pikachu lying there, vulnerable.
Whirlipede, pleased with having landed the blow, raised his head proudly as his antennae moved slowly, reflecting his delight. "Finally," he said, his tone full of satisfaction. Then, turning to his opponent lying on the ground, he continued, "Oh, poor thing. You're not laughing now, are you? Well, that's what you deserve for being stubborn and provoking me, you arrogant trash!" he exclaimed mockingly, savoring the moment. "Seems like, in the end, you're as weak as I thought. You don't look so clever now, huh? This is what happens when you dare to play with me!"
Pikachu finished cleaning the dirt from his eyes but couldn't help coughing hoarsely as he tried to recover from the impact. He stood up with difficulty, wobbling slightly at first but soon regained his balance. Despite everything, a defiant smile formed on his face.
"Good strategy, Whirlipede. I expected no less from you," Pikachu said in a hoarse but firm voice. Then, raising his gaze and with a defiant glint in his eyes, he added, "But don't forget that now I'll fight seriously, you crawling bug!" as his cheeks crackled with electricity.
Pikachu dropped onto all fours, his cheeks emitting increasingly intense electrical sparks, ready to demonstrate his full power. He scraped the ground with one of his front paws. Whirlipede looked at Pikachu and said, "Come on, little mouse! Do you think that'll be enough? I'm eager to see what you can do."Pikachu prepared and fired a Thunderbolt; the streak of electricity illuminated the entire battlefield. Whirlipede attempted to dodge it by quickly rolling, but a spark hit his shell, causing him to writhe momentarily.
Whirlipede regained his balance and, taking advantage of the electric mouse's proximity, launched a swift and precise Bug Bite. Pikachu tried to dodge the attack, but one of the stingers hit his side. The bite was painful, and Pikachu felt the impact weakening him momentarily. Whirlipede, seeing the opportunity, followed up with a Take Down attack to capitalize on his opponent's temporary vulnerability.
Pikachu, feeling the impact, was hurled backward once again, slamming into a tree with force. But Pikachu was unwilling to give up. Slowly, he got up, his cheeks glowing with renewed intensity. Concentrating all his energy, he fired a powerful Thunderbolt directly at Whirlipede. The electricity surged across the battlefield, striking Whirlipede and creating a burst of light and sound. Whirlipede staggered, severely hit by the intensity of the attack.
He could barely stay on his feet, his body trembling and his movements slower and more uncoordinated. With one final tremor, Whirlipede weakened and collapsed to the ground, defeated by Pikachu's powerful attack.
The tension in the air faded. Pikachu, panting and his cheeks still sparking faintly, watched as Whirlipede finally fell to the ground. Fatigue was evident in his body, his legs still shaking from the blows he had endured. Yet, a tired and satisfied smile formed on his face. "Told you so," he murmured between gasps.
Snivy, who had recovered from her earlier fall, watched the battle with awe. The exchange of blows had left her impressed, and although her body was still weak, something inside her had awakened—a spark of admiration and hope. With great effort, she stood up, her legs still trembling, as she tried to stay steady.
Seeing her stand, Pikachu let out a small sigh of relief, though his chest was still heaving from the exertion. Without hesitation, he dropped to all fours and ran quickly toward her, his paws firmly touching the ground as he moved with urgency.
"Wow, Pikachu. That display of power was impressive. I must admit, you've surprised me," Snivy said with a mix of amazement and admiration. Pikachu smiled and looked at Snivy. "Thank you, Snivy. I guess I should've taken this seriously from the start instead of playing around," he said, as a drop of sweat slid down the side of his face.
Snivy smiled and replied affectionately, "What matters is that you're okay and you managed to beat him. I feel safer knowing he won't cause more trouble."
But then, they both heard a faint buzzing sound. They turned to see what it was and noticed Whirlipede, still lying on the ground, breathing heavily and clearly affected by the attack. With one last effort, he rose, shocked by the power of the attack he had endured. "T-this isn't over… I'll be back and… I-I'll get stronger and take revenge," Whirlipede stammered before rolling back into the forest, visibly shaken.
"Oh, well, that's a 'no,' hahaha," Pikachu said, laughing with a mix of relief and amusement. The snake Pokémon made a resigned expression at Whirlipede's stubbornness, and a slight twitch in her eye revealed her frustration. "I thought we were done with this," she sighed, though she couldn't help but laugh along with Pikachu at the absurdity of the situation.
Pikachu looked in the direction Whirlipede had gone and said, "In the end, he's not going to leave us alone." Then he turned to Snivy and asked, "But there's something I'd like to know—why did he attack you in the first place?"
Snivy stayed silent for a moment, thoughtful, staring at the ground before responding. "Well... it all started because I accidentally invaded his territory. He attacked me because he thought I was a threat," she explained, her voice heavy with remorse.
Pikachu nodded slowly, understanding. "I see. I've never seen a Snivy in this forest. You must have arrived here recently. It's not safe for you to wander alone in this forest," he said with a mixture of concern and kindness in his momentarily looked at Pikachu before lowering her gaze, her spirits sinking at his words. Pikachu briefly noticed Snivy's sudden change in mood and felt a pang of regret. "The truth is, I don't have a home... I've been alone in this forest for two days, and I think it's time to move on. Thank you for your help, Pikachu. Goodbye," Snivy said sadly as she turned to leave, but due to exhaustion, she began to quickly stepped forward and carefully steadied her. "Wait, Snivy—you're very badly injured. You can't leave in this state. I'm sorry if my words upset you. Maybe it would be better if you rested a bit and regained your strength. If you're okay with it, I could stay with you until you feel better," Pikachu suggested, showing his concern.
Snivy lifted her gaze with gratitude and relief in her eyes. "Would you really do that for me, Pikachu?" she asked in a trembling voice.
Pikachu nodded with a warm smile. "Of course. I can't let someone stay alone in this place, especially when they're hurt. I know a safe and comfortable place where you can rest. My burrow is nearby, and you can recover there," Pikachu looked at Pikachu, carefully considering his offer. "I truly appreciate your offer, Pikachu. It's a great help to me. But I'll only do it to regain my energy," she responded in a calm yet grateful voice.
Pikachu smiled appreciatively. "Perfect. Let's go—it's close," he said as he carefully helped her walk, offering his support.
As they began walking, Pikachu suddenly remembered something important. He slapped a paw to his face as the realization hit him. "Oh no! I completely forgot—I left some baskets full of apples," Pikachu saw his reaction and gave him a crooked smile and a light sweat drop. "Luckily, they're not far from here. We can pick them up on the way to the burrow. You can eat what you need to regain some energy and feel better," Pikachu added with a smile.
Snivy smiled, though slightly embarrassed, grateful for Pikachu's thoughtfulness. A soft blush appeared on her cheeks. "Thank you, Pikachu. I really need to regain some strength. It's so kind of you to care about me like this," Snivy said in a soft, grateful voice. Deep down, she felt happy that someone was sincerely concerned about her.
Meanwhile, Pikachu continued talking absentmindedly. "Yeah, these apples are the best in the forest. Sometimes I think about making a pie with them, but I never get around to it. Do you like apple pie? We should try making one someday—it'd be fun, don't you think?"
Snivy smiled widely at Pikachu's words, and though he didn't notice her blush, she felt even more grateful for his company. "Yes, Pikachu, that would be really wonderful," she replied with a light laugh.
And well guys, I hope you liked this first chapter. You already know that you can review my story and tell me if you liked it or if you think I can improve some things, tell me anything hehehe. I'll say goodbye and I hope you had a great time :D
