Sorry it took so long to update this story

Ch. 2

Gray and Lyon were shackled inside a prison cart of some sort' with ice shackles. Going through the forest and avoided the village altogether. Gray tried breaking free but he couldn't do anything with this ice. Neither could Lyon. It was impossible for the boys to escape from this ice.

"Heh, give it up Gray. You can't break my ice," said the guy driving the cart.

"Shut up!" Gray shouted, struggling.

"What are you planning to do with us?" Lyon asked with a growl.

"Oh, you'll know soon enough," said the guy as he went inside the temple. He took Lyon out of the cart first and froze his hands to the wall once they got to the highest floor.

"Hey!" Lyon shouted, struggling again and still couldn't break the ice… or even do anything with it. The guy went over to Gray now, smirking.

Gray started to sweat as the guy grabbed his shoulder. He took Gray over to the middle of the room and iced his hands above his head. Attaching that ice to the ceiling.

"What are you doing?! Leave him alone!" Lyon shouted, watching this cloaked person walking around Gray.

"Heh. You still don't get it, do you Gray?" the guy asked.

"How can I 'get it' if I don't even know who you are or whatever?" Gray asked with a growl.

"You never wondered why your ears are more sensitive than others. Never, wondered why you can hear things from fifty or one hundred miles away. Never wondered why your ice-make magic is so powerful the more you listen to your surroundings. Never wondered why you had this necklace ever since you were born," the guy said still circling Gray.

"Huh?" Gray wondered. "What does that supposed to—" His eyes widened once the guy took off his hood. The guy's head looked like the ice devil Gray saw a number of times in books.

"You don't remember me do you? Son," the guy smirked again. Gray's eyes got wider in fear.

"Huh?" Lyon wondered. "What are you talking about?"

"I don't believe you," Gray told him. "My father is dead!"

"I'm the Ice Devil, Gray. I raped you mother and she had you in return," the devil told him with a shrug.

"You did what?" Lyon asked. "You…" The Ice Devil punched Gray across the face.

"You'll believe me once I make your Ice Devil side come out," the devil told him.

"Ah! Grr… what do you mean?" Gray asked, shivering in fear.

The Ice Devil just kept beating Gray up. Lyon still tried getting out of the ice shackles. He struggled harder and harder but still couldn't get out. He tried shouting to get the Ice Devil's attention but his attention wasn't straying from Gray.

After about an hour, Gray started to feel something a little above his tail bone. He couldn't do anything to escape this ice or this pummeling the Ice Devil was dishing out on him.

Lyon kicked the wall a few times before sharply looking up at Gray once he screamed out in pain. His eyes widened once he saw what was now on his childhood friend. An ice tail appeared on Gray and it was long.

The Ice Devil grabbed it and made his appear. "See, Gray? Our tails are exactly the same," he told him, smirking.

"N-no…" Gray shivered. "No!" He struggled to get out of the ice but still couldn't. "No, stop it! Let go! No!"

"Come on, son. Now you know what you really are," Ice Devil laughed as some fire came into the room. The Ice Devil backed off as Natsu came in with Lucy and the other three.

"Alright bastard! Where's Gray!?" Natsu shouted as he looked around and only saw Lyon iced to the wall. Lucy ran over to Lyon and called for one of her celestial friends to help out. The ice was melted as Natsu continued searching.

"Gray! Gray, hey! Where are you!? Gray!" he shouted.

"What's going on here?" Haru asked, looking around.

"Hm… what's this?" Musica asked picking up something on the ground that resembled an ice trail but it was water.

"Gray," Natsu gasped as he followed the trail.

"No, wait a second! There's something you-" Lyon wasn't able to say what he was going to once Natsu was out of range.

"What is it, Lyon?" Lucy asked.

"The Ice Devil," Lyon growled, clenching his fist. "I can only imagine how Gray feels right now."

"What do you mean?" Ellie asked coming over to him.

"I can't deny what I saw… Gray's the son of the Ice Devil," Lyon told them. "I don't care either way. I want my friend back."

"Then let's go after that fire head," Musica told him. They all ran after Natsu.

Once they did catch up to the dragon boy, he was frozen in ice. And there was no sign of Gray or the Ice Devil anywhere. Haru made his sword turn on fire and slashed the ice that Natsu was frozen in.

Natsu was out cold but alive. Lucy picked him up and told everyone that they had to get back to the guild and regroup. As much as Lyon didn't want to, he went with them.

"Gray," Lyon thought in worry, looking at the island as they sailed away from it.
