A.N/ Hello all! Firstly I want to say thank you all so much for the replies, the follows and the favorites! I didn't expect this kind of reception from this fic at all. But seeing all you guys that favorited and followed means so much to me. As I've already said I'm not a writer so I was worried that my lack of skill wouldn't translate the fic like I'd wanted it to but it seems like I've done an alright job so far. I'm also going to put the last paragraph of the previous chapter on every new chapter to help you guys keep track of what went on when you were last reading. Once again I own nothing in the Harry Potter or Wizarding World fandoms. By the way sorry about the long author notes.

Chapter 2- Tales of The Past

The man gave them a low bow. "Greetings, my name is Harry Ignotus Prowler. Lord of the most ancient and royal house of Prowler, king of the great forest of Avolon. You may know me better by my previous name Harry Potter. Now if you would be so kind I have one question for you all." He looked over the group with a scowl. "Why the fuck have you summoned me here."

The group could only stare at the man after he made his introduction. Here he stood claiming to be a boy that died over a decade ago, saying he was a lord of a house that nobody had ever heard of and a king of lands that were only thought to exist in legend.

There were different reactions to the man throughout the group. While most of them were cautious but curious, the Potters were split. Lily had taken what Hermione had said and ran with it. She was ready to run to the man and embrace her lost son. Wishes of this very thing happening had plaqued her mind for years, of her son to magically coming back to them. Now here he stood a near grown man.

Rose on the other hand was hesitant to just accept what he said as truth. Did she want to believe this was her elder brother? Absolutely, Harry was her hero. What little sister wouldn't idolize the brother that laid down his life for hers. She, like her mother had longed for the boys return. But she wasn't just going to take what he said as the gospel. He could be anyone for all they knew, there were still death eaters out there that wanted nothing more than to harm the family that ended their lord. Yes the person directly responsible had died with the dark lord but to his followers that wasn't enough. No, Rose wouldn't just accept what the man said as truth.

James however didn't buy the man's story at all. There has never to his knowledge been a family with the surname Prowler and everyone knew Avolon was nothing more than a fairly tale legend for children. Add to the fact that this bastard is claiming to be his dead son only made it worse. All this brought back up the anger from earlier. The Potter lords hand slowly made its way to his wand, they'd find out who he actually was when they had him in a holding cell. "STUPEFY!" The Potter lord had cast so fast nobody even knew what happened until the spell had hit their guest.

Or at least it would've hit him. The spell hung suspended in the air just in front of the man. He was casually looking at it as if studying it. He then casually swatted the spell away like it was a common house fly, it harmlessly hit wall of the great hall. It was an impressive display of magic and Dumbledore himself was especially impressed. "That was very rude lord Potter." A deep feral growl rumbled through the hall chilling the occupants to the bone, Rose swore the growl came from the man but she couldn't tell, calming himself down Harry took a deep breath and sighed. "Look I don't know how you summoned me here or for why but I shouldn't be here. Your had no right to pull me from my home."

Dumbledore was the first to speak. "We summoned you here because the name Harry Potter came from this goblet." He waved his hand towards the goblet of fire. "Harry Potter has been dead for 13 years but Barty here used it to summon the person responsible for entering the name." The headmaster gestured to Barty. "You see, Hogwarts is hosting the triwizard tournament. Three schools have one student compete against each other in a series of competitions."

"That's great and all but what does all that have to do with me?" This was starting to get irritating.

"Well the name Harry Potter came out of the goblet as I stated earlier. Harry Potter has been dead for 13 years and-"

"Firstly I haven't been dead for any amount of time, secondly my name isn't even Harry Potter anymore and hasn't been for years, thirdly a magic goblet is a stupid way to pick champions for a tournament." That last one wasn't important per-say but it was bugging him.

"You're not our son!" The Potter lord couldn't stay quiet any longer. "Our Harry would never have left his family. He sacrificed himself for his sister and destroyed the dark lord in the process. I refuse to believe he would've run off and abandoned us for so many years!" Tears were pouring out of James eyes, how dare this stranger reopen these wounds by claiming he's their Harry.

"I didn't run-" Harry gave a sigh. "You know what, fine." He pulled his wand out and held it towards the ceiling. "I Harry Ignotus Prowler do hereby swear on my life and my magic that I was Harry James Potter and that everything I have said so far has been nothing but truthful. On this I swear, so mote it be." A flash of gold surrounded Harry and golden tendrils swirled around him before popping into sparkles.

Lily had crossed the distance between them as soon as the sparkles were gone. Harry had little time to react as the red head slammed into him and had her arms locked around him. He could feel the tears running down his chest and she sobbed into him. Rose followed her mother just a few seconds later, wrapping her arms around her lost brother. James was being comforted by Sirius, the guilt of having just tried to curse his son weighing heavily on him.

Harry only noticed after she had gotten so close but Rose put his senses on overdrive. Something about her wasn't right and he was sure the slight sickly smell of decay coming off her had something to do with it. He had encountered this smell before but couldn't quite remember where. He thoughts however were broken up by Dumbledore.

"If it would suit you my boy I think we should all go to my office." Dumbledore wiped tears from his eyes. "I'll go and explain what's happening to the other champions. Then perhaps we can hear the no doubt wondrous tale of your disappearance. Minerva and Severus you may head up with them as you're family, the rest of you may retire to bed." The headmaster left the group to themselves.

As the group walked away, none of them seemed remember one of them lying on the floor. Poor Neville had been forgotten. In all the excitement none had remembered the boy passing out. He would be found early in the morning by the other students coming to eat their breakfast.

The walk up to the headmasters office was an awkward one in Harry's opinion. On either side of him were Lily and Rose Potter. Each clutching his arm like a lifeline. It was no different once they reached the office as both pulled chairs next to his. He was relieved when the headmaster finally walked in as both girls eased their grip on his arms.

Walking across the office and taking a seat at his desk the old man grabbed a dish full of muggle candies. "Would anyone care for a lemon drop before we begin?" He was delighted as both Harry and Rose took one of the candies and popped them in their mouths. "Now my dear boy, why don't we start from the beginning. How did you defeat the dark lord and how did you end up in Avolon of all places?"

"I think it would be better to show you. I have a pensive we can use to view the memory." He began searching through his pockets. "No need my boy, I have one of my own we can use." Dumbledore waved his hand and a shelf opened up allowing the pensive to float over to the group.

The pensive floated to an open part of the office and the group gathered around. "If you would just place your memory of the night Harry, we'll begin." Harry held his wand to his temple and concentrated on the night of the attack. Gently he let the memory fall into the pensive.

"Now if everyone would just stick their finger in the liquid we can begin." One by one the group entered the memory. Rose was the last one, unsure if she even wanted to relive that night. She looked at Harry. "Are you going in?" A nod was all she got for confirmation and that was all she needed. Sticking her finger in she felt a rush of magic as she was transported to the memory.

Potter Cottage - Godrics Hollow Oct.31-1981

Young Harry and Rose were just put to bed by Pippy the family elf. "I's be just down stairs if the young master and miss be needing anything." Closeting the door the elf left the pair to sleep.

The two children woke as the whole house shuddered and shook. A loud gong sounded and all went quiet. Pippy popped into the room and rushed to the children. "Young master and miss must be hiding, bad man comes he must not be finding you's." A loud crash was heard down stairs as dark lord blew the door off its hinges. Pippy squeaked and looked around frantically.

"Both you's be hiding in the closet. Pippy try to lure bad man away you's must be quiet. You's must not be leaving closet for no reason. I's come back whe-"

CRASH

The bedroom door suddenly splintered into pieces and the dark lord strode in. His crimson eyes scanned the room before settling on his target. He raised his wand to the child. "Avada Keda-" Pippy grabbed the dark lords arm. The poor small creature stood no chance however as she was flung across the room hitting the wall with a sickening crunch.

"Stupid elf, you dare attack me, the dark lord!" Pippy struggled to stand her right leg bent at an unnatural angle. "You's not be harming the young master and young miss. You's be leaving now and not coming back." The poor thing tried to stand in defiance but her broken leg gave out. The dark lord, being the evil bastard he is laughed at her pain.

"You stupid creature. I had only planned on killing one of the children tonight, but just for your stupid misguided act of bravery no one in this house shall see the sun rise." He pointed his wand at the downed elf. "Avada-Kedavra!" Before the green spell had crossed the room Pippy looked over to the children she loved. "I's sorry." The spell hit Pippy launching her body into the wall. The tears in her lifeless eyes unwept for the children whose fate was all but sealed.

"PIPPY!" Harry tried calling for the elf but he knew it was a lost cause. He'd heard his parents talk about the green spell. Once you get hit by it you never wake up. Rose was full crying now, the child was too young to understand what happened but she knew her "Pip" wouldn't be back to care for her.

The dark lord turned to the crying children. "It's such a shame you both have to die. Magical children are precious things and should be cherished. Unfortunately one of you is destined to defeat me." He raised his wand. "Such a shame but I ashore you I'll get over it." He laughed at his own joke wiping a fake tear from his eye.

There was nothing Harry could do, but at the same time he had to do something. Figuring something was better than nothing he jumped out of bed and ran to the dark lord.

With all the strength a three year old could muster he rammed into the leg of the dark lord. Knocking the man off balance, seizing his opportunity he started punching, kicking and biting anything and everything he could get his hands and teeth into.

The dark lord however regained balance too quick for any real damage to happen, this was a three year old after all. He grabbed a first full of hair on the boys head and slammed him into the wall.

Pain filled Harry's world. Feeling something snap in his shoulder as he hit the wall he cried out in pain. When he hit the floor he lay there for a second before trying to get up. As he start standing, the dark lords foot made contact with his ribs. The wind was knocked out of the boy and he hit the floor a second time.

"Stupid boy. Just like the elf, your courage is wasted." He walked over and grabbed the boys hair again picking his head up to look him in the eyes. "For your insolence you get to watch your sister die. Oh don't worry, you'll join her soon after." He let go of Harry and walked over to Rose's crib. Grabbing the baby he lifted her up and inspected her. He seemed disappointed in what he saw, he then set the baby down and stepped back. "I find myself disappointed truthfully. Neither one of you are special. Tsk tsk tsk. But you both must die either way." He raised his wand to Rose. "Avada-Ked-"

Harry's world froze as he said the spell. Ignoring the pain he rushed to his sister. The tip of the dark lords wand glowed a bright green before the spell shot from it. As the spell raced towards his sister Harry did the only thing he could do, he jumped. Time slowed as Harry and the spell connected. Pain rushed through the boys body as the spell hit him. Bright green flashes filled the room, a scream of pain filled Harry's ears and he watched as the spell bounced off him and shot towards its caster. Both harry and the dark lord were launched into the wall.

The dark lord hit with a thud and slid down to the floor. He lay unmoving and broken before slowly crumbling. Almost like a sand castle the dark lord fell apart. Harry could barely see, the darkness taking over his vision. He wasn't sure what he saw but it he swore something black shot from the dark lords robes and raced to little Rose. From what he could see his sister was unconscious but unharmed. She had a small cut on her cheek but besides that she seemed fine.

Pops of apperation could be heard outside and Harry heard his parents cry's. He heard his mother's screams from the main room and his father calling their names. His father's voice was getting closer as he raced up the stairs, the pain in his voice was getting more severe the longer his children didn't respond. His god father could be heard trying to console his crying mother though it was evident the man was barely holding it in himself. His father was close, the footsteps were just outside the door, but Harry never got to see the man as his world went black.

A.N/ I think I'll end it there. This chapter was shorter than I'd liked but I wanted to end it with a good cliffhanger. I'm not so happy with the first half of this chapter, I don't know why but it just feels off to me. The second half I'm very happy with though. Anyway I think I have my update schedule set with new chapters coming every Thursday or Friday. I want to thank all of you again for the reviews and the follows and favorites. It really made my week knowing so many of you liked the first chapter. Hopefully you like this one just as much lol. Please leave a review, good or bad they'll only help me. Thank you all and see you next week!
