Episode 5: RevelationsEXT. ABANDONED SHIPYARD – DAY
Sunlight pierces through the clouds, casting long shadows across a decaying shipyard. The sea breeze carries salt and rust in equal measure. Yellow police tape flutters around twisted piles of metal. Everything is still… too still.
Two bodies lie side by side on the concrete, shriveled and sunken, like they've been drained from the inside out. Their skin clings to bone, their expressions frozen in pure terror, eyes wide and lips parted in a final, silent scream.
BATMAN kneels beside one, scanner in hand, while SUPERMAN floats overhead, arms crossed, brow furrowed.
SUPERMAN
(quietly, uneasy)
"This… it's like they were hollowed out."
BATMAN
(coldly analytical)
"No visible wounds. Vital organs: intact. Cellular structure shows degradation at the core—like they were absorbed."
Suddenly, a gust of wind stirs the dust. A subtle flicker of blue and flame. SKYLIFT and JET arrive. Skylift lands gently, a swirl of air cushioning her descent. Jet's boots tap the ground, his aura low but flickering uneasily.
SKYLIFT
(eyes wide as she sees the corpses)
"Zil... they look like husks."
Jet approaches slowly, kneeling. He reaches a hand near the body but doesn't touch it. His eyes glow faintly for a moment as he analyzes the residue in the air.
JET
(low, tense)
"These people didn't die in fear."
(beat)
"They were emptied."
BATMAN
"Absorption?"
JET
(nods slowly)
"More than that. Someone didn't just take their power… they took everything. Life, energy, soul."
SUPERMAN
(grim)
"You've seen this before."
Jet stands. His fists tighten slightly. The flame behind his eyes ignites for a second—then dies.
JET
(coldly)
"Back on Eclipse. Only one kind of being could do this... but I thought they wouldn't come."
Skylift looks at him, concerned.
SKYLIFT
"But why would they even come?"
Jet doesn't respond immediately. Then:
JET
"I don't know ."
He turns to the others.
JET
"Call the League. All of them. We need an emergency meeting."
BATMAN
(measured)
"What are we preparing for, Jet?"
Jet stares into the distance, voice calm but deadly serious.
JET
(flat)
"Something that can erase entire worlds."
INT. WATCHTOWER – MAIN COUNCIL ROOM – NIGHT
The massive conference hall hums with restrained energy. Representing the Justice League, Young Justice, Teen Titans, Doom Patrol, and more, the room is full—heroes of all types standing or seated around the circular chamber. Tension crackles like static in the air.
SUPERMAN, BATMAN, WONDER WOMAN, and the core League members stand at the center. ZIL (Jet) steps forward, eyes locked, expression emotionless.
ZIL (JET)
(calmly, coldly)
"I'll make this quick and easy."
The room stiffens. A silence falls.
"We need to evacuate the Planet"
SKYLIFT (Emma)
(alarmed)
"ZIL!!"
ZIL
(shrugs)
"What? I need to tell them."
EMMA
(firm, quieter)
"But at least do it without being so... straightforward."
Zil turns back to the crowd, gaze sweeping over teams that once chased him, doubted him—now listening.
ZIL
"The one who committed those murders... it wasn't a person. It was a thing. A species."
He pauses.
ZIL
"We call them... the Spaceworms."
(a few raised brows)
"They go by other names too—Nullfeeders, Starhollows, the Veilborn, Sunleeches... take your pick."
ZIL
"They travel the galaxy absorbing a planet's life, power, and essence. And when they're done, they move on to the next. That's why we—Emma, Joe and I—were sent to Earth. Because your planet… had nothing. It was a backwater. A quiet, dying ember."
The heroes exchange wary glances. Superman steps forward.
SUPERMAN
(measured)
"Then why are they here now?"
Zil pauses. He looks out across the crowd of Earth's champions. Titans. Mentors. Children of gods and science. People who became legends.
ZIL
(quietly, but with conviction)
"I know why."
SUPERMAN
(curious, suspicious)
"Why?"
ZIL
(raises his voice)
"You."
A murmur sweeps the room.
WONDER WOMAN
(gently)
"Explain."
ZIL
"It's not just a coincidence. It's cause and effect. Earth used to be invisible. Powerless. But in the last twenty years?"
(he gestures around)
"The League. The Titans. Young Justice. Villains like the Legion of Doom. Meta-humans appearing across every nation. You've lit a beacon. Earth shines like a signal fire in the dark. They followed it."
Silence falls again.
BATMAN
(calmly)
"You believe we drew them here."
ZIL
(nodding)
"No. I know we did."
ZIL
"Your powers, your miracles, your wars… You've made Earth valuable. And now it's on the menu."
The silence becomes heavier. Eyes shift toward the League. Then toward Zil. Then the screens. Worlds—countless, gone without a trace.
ZIL
(quietly)
"We don't have time to debate. The murders are only the beginning."
FLASH
(half-joking, uneasy)
"So... what, you're saying we pack up and leave the planet?"
ZIL
(firm)
"You don't understand. Even Eclipse, my home—a planet built for conquest, armed with technology and magic far beyond Earth—barely had what it needed to fight them. And we lost."
His words hang in the air like a final verdict.
ZIL
(stepping closer)
"You're not ready. None of us are."
Murmurs ripple through the crowd. Tension flares.
JUSTICE LEAGUE SIDE
SUPERMAN steps forward, calm but stern.
SUPERMAN
(measured)
"Running isn't our way. We stand and protect. That's who we are."
WONDER WOMAN
(nodding)
"And if we die doing it, so be it. Earth is worth defending—even from the impossible."
BATMAN
(low, calculating)
"We've prepared for cosmic threats before. We've won."
ZIL
(cutting in)
"You've survived, Batman. Barely. This… is different."
TEEN TITANS
CYBORG folds his arms, scanning Zil with narrowed eyes.
CYBORG
(gritted)
"You're talking about leaving billions behind. Friends. Family. I've seen entire worlds fall. I'm not letting Earth be one of them."
RAVEN
(softly, but ominously)
"I felt it too… when we saw those bodies. That wasn't death. It was erasure. There's something ancient behind this. Something that doesn't care about balance."
She glances at Zil, her eyes glowing faintly.
RAVEN
"But if we don't fight… they'll consume everything."
YOUNG JUSTICE
NIGHTWING moves forward, breaking the silence.
NIGHTWING
(sharply)
"You want us to run, Zil. But that's not what heroes do. We don't abandon people."
ZIL
(emotion rising)
"I'm not telling you to abandon them. I'm telling you to save who you can. Because if you think you're ready for what's coming—then you've already lost."
AQUALAD
(calm but resolute)
"Then teach us. You survived them once. Help us do the same."
DOOM PATROL
ROBOTMAN
(gruff)
"Well, this just keeps getting better. First a spaceworm horror show, now evacuation plans."
ELASTI-GIRL
(frowning)
"If we're not ready… then we need to become ready. Fast."
NEGATIVE MAN
(quietly)
"They're coming whether we stand or flee."
Zil clenches his jaw. The fire behind his eyes dims, just for a moment, replaced by something fragile—guilt.
ZIL
(quietly)
"You all don't know what it feels like… to be the last of your kind. To watch your people die screaming. That's why I'm warning you."
He turns away from the center and stares out the Watchtower's massive viewport toward Earth.
ZIL
(voice low)
"I've seen this before. And if we're not careful… I'll see it again."
The chamber is silent again. No one has an answer—only the weight of the stars pressing in.
INT. WATCHTOWER – STRATEGY CHAMBER
The room is charged—heated whispers, clenched jaws, eyes darting between team leaders. Superman paces near the holo-display of the Earth. Batman stands still, hands folded. Wonder Woman watches Zil with suspicion but curiosity.
GREEN LANTERN (John Stewart)
(frustrated)
"What are we debating exactly? If we fight, we risk extinction. If we run, we lose our home."
HAWKGIRL
(flatly)
"No one said survival would be simple."
MARTIAN MANHUNTER
(calm but firm)
"We must understand the threat before choosing either."
ZIL
(cold)
"There's no understanding of them. You're trying to reason with hunger."
Before another voice can rise—
SKYLIFT (Emma)
(interrupts, stepping forward)
"Zil."
Zil glances over, caught off guard.
SKYLIFT
(gently)
"You still have it… don't you?"
The room quiets. Eyes shift to her.
SKYLIFT (to the League)
"We still have something. Zil show them the rechearch"
She turns to Zil.
SKYLIFT
"Zil… show them the research."
Zil's jaw tightens. He says nothing for a long moment, then sighs.
ZIL
(low)
"…You all wanted answers."
He lifts his hand and with a snap of his fingers, a pulsing sphere of blue light forms in mid-air. It unfolds like a flower of starlight—projecting Eclipsian glyphs, maps of galaxies, and a long string of genetic equations, schematics, and destructive energy readings.
The heroes look on, stunned.
CYBORG
(softly, wide-eyed)
"This… this is alien combat data. Quantum energy signatures, biosynthetic disrupters—this is war theory."
BATMAN
(analyzing fast)
"And blueprints. Weapons… countermeasures. Some are incomplete. Others… half-erased."
ZIL
(stepping into the projection)
"It's everything Eclipse knew about the enemy. How they feed. How they move between stars. How they wiped us out in a week."
The images shift—worlds turning to black dust, star systems imploding, giant serpent-like creatures made of light and shadow, consuming entire planets.
He glances down.
ZIL
"I buried it. But now… there's no more time."
The League is stunned. Even Superman's expression falters.
SUPERMAN
(quietly)
"You said these things respond to power. They came for us. For Earth."
ZIL
(nods)
"They smell power. Earth has never been more ripe."
WONDER WOMAN
(to Emma)
"And you? You knew?"
SKYLIFT
(quietly)
"Yes, I knew but no as much as Zil."
FLASH
(looking around)
"Okay, so… we use this. Build something. Make a stand."
RAVEN
(ominously)
"Then we better start fast. If they've already touched Earth…"
ZIL
(cutting in)
"They have."
He points to the crime scene photos—mangled, absorbed corpses with twisted fear etched into their faces.
ZIL
(cold)
"That's not just a warning. That's a mark. Like sharks tasting blood in the water."
BATMAN
(resolute)
"Then we prepare."
NIGHTWING
(crossing his arms)
"No running. We make this count."
ZIL
(staring into the star-map)
"Then we're going to need every last piece of tech, magic, power, and courage this planet has."
INT. WATCHTOWER – STRATEGY CHAMBER (CONTINUED)
The room is still buzzing from the projection. Tension thickens again as Zil closes the starmap with a wave of his hand. The lights dim slightly. He steps toward the center of the room, eyes sweeping across the gathered heroes.
ZIL
(serious, calm)
"I'll fight."
Everyone straightens. Superman nods subtly. Batman watches him closely.
ZIL
"But you need to know something first. About the worms."
He lifts a single hand and conjures a blue hologram of a Spaceworm's biology—coiling tendrils, crystalline spines, a glowing core.
ZIL
"When they die… or even when they're wounded… they release something."
The heroes exchange glances.
ZIL
(grim)
"A kind of energy toxin. You won't see it. You won't smell it. But the moment it hits you—your powers are gone."
Shocked murmurs ripple across the chamber.
WONDER GIRL (Cassie)
"What?"
CYBORG
(reading data)
"These readings… it's not just suppression. This attacks the source of a meta's abilities."
SUPERBOY
"You mean it's permanent?"
ZIL
(shakes head)
"No. Not usually. Eclipse tested it. We called it Phase Decay. It disables your connection to energy—no matter the source. Kryptonian. Atlantean. Magic. Tech. Meta. Even Eclipsian."
GREEN LANTERN
"Wait… your people? That didn't give you immunity?"
ZIL
(stern)
"There is no immunity."
Silence.
ZIL
"But… sometimes… for a very rare few… it didn't come back."
Everyone freezes.
SKYLIFT
(softly)
"We never found out why. But… the Council suspected the worms were adapting. Learning. Testing."
ZIL
(turning to the heroes)
"Eclipse started researching a counteragent before we fell. They believed if even one worm learned how to make the effect permanent, the galaxy would fall—planet by planet."
He lets the silence sit.
ZIL
(quiet)
"So when you fight… understand this. You're risking more than your life. You could lose what makes you… you. Even if you survive."
RAVEN
(coldly)
"Then maybe we win without powers."
NIGHTWING
(grim smile)
"Or we fight smart enough that we don't have to get hit."
SUPERMAN
(serious)
"Thank you for telling us. We'll start adapting the Watchtower's medbay and forge labs immediately."
BATMAN
(already thinking ahead)
"I'll assign R teams to analyze your Eclipsian files. We need to find a cure—or a containment plan."
ZIL
(nods)
"I'll give you everything we had."
FLASH
(quietly)
"…What if we lose everything and don't get it back?"
ZIL
(without hesitation)
"Then Earth becomes Eclipse."
That hits everyone.
INT. WATCHTOWER – STRATEGY CHAMBER – HOURS LATER
A holographic globe of Earth now flickers above the roundtable. Multiple red anomalies pulse across different regions—each a potential Spaceworm location.
BATMAN
(pointing to the projections)
"These five spikes showed up in the last 48 hours. They're either burrowing… or breeding."
SUPERMAN
(crosses arms)
"Then we split our forces. Coordinated strikes. Minimal casualties."
WONDER WOMAN
"I'll lead the Amazon contingent to the one in the South Pacific. Artemis and Yara will back me."
AQUALAD (Kaldur)
(from the monitor)
"Atlantis will rise to support. We'll hit the trench worm before it surfaces."
INT. WATCHTOWER – R BAY
Cyborg, Mr. Terrific, Steel, and Zil are gathered around a table filled with holograms and Eclipsian blueprints.
CYBORG
"Your people's science is… wild. But I think we can reverse-engineer this 'Phase Decay' effect."
MR. TERRIFIC
"If we can't cure it, maybe we can vaccinate. Buffer it—slow it down."
ZIL
(quietly, serious)
"Start with the Titans and Young Justice. They'll be on the front lines more than the League. They're younger… more vulnerable."
STEEL
"I'll get them suits with kinetic filtration. Might buy them a few seconds more."
INT. TITANS TOWER – NIGHT
RAVEN, BEAST BOY, BLUE BEETLE, WONDER GIRL, KID FLASH, and SKYLIFT (Emma) gather.
There's tension in the room.
WONDER GIRL
"Lose your powers, lose yourself… is that what he meant?"
BEAST BOY
(grim)
"Yeah… and I only just figured out how to control my tiger form again."
SKYLIFT
(soft but firm)
"I know you're scared. So am I. But this isn't just a battle—it's a message. We fight, or the galaxy watches Earth die."
INT. WATCHTOWER – UNITED SUMMIT CHAMBER – NIGHT
The room is tense.
Three factions sit across from each other:
The Justice League stands tall and disciplined.
The Horizon Front members exude silent power and suspicion.
The Legion of Doom, though smaller in number, radiates controlled menace.
Jet (Zil) stands in the center, between them, silent. Watching.
SUPERMAN
(firm, commanding)
"This isn't about history. It's about survival."
BATMAN
(activating a hologram)
"We're under threat by entities far beyond our usual adversaries—creatures capable of absorbing the very life force of a planet."
The Spaceworm footage plays. Horror. Chaos. A world consumed.
WONDER WOMAN
"We need to unite. Not for alliance. For survival."
HORIZON FRONT – REACTIONS
GRAVEMARK
(arms crossed)
"So… Now we're friends again?"
LUCENT
(flickering with light energy)
"I say we fight. But if Jet turns, I'll kill him myself."
WRAITHLOCK
(quietly)
"He won't. He already chose us once."
SERAPHINE
(glancing at Titanray)
"If we fight… we fight as one."
TITANRAY (Joe)
(finally, solemnly)
"Then I'm in."
LEGION OF DOOM – REACTIONS
LEX LUTHOR
(mocking)
"A united front? What are we, teenagers with matching jackets?"
BLACK MANTA
"They eat power. Absorb it. That includes us. I'm not dying for your planet, Luthor."
GRODD
(growls)
"You will, or you'll die alone."
RIDDLER
(murmurs while scribbling)
"What happens when the worms run out of planets?"
Silence. The truth lands.
ZIL (Jet)
(finally speaks)
"If we fight separately, we die. Together… we might have a chance."
BRIEF SILENCE. THEN—
CATWOMAN (watching from the side)
"Well, I've always liked impossible odds."
SUPERMAN
"Then it's settled. One army. One Earth."
ZIL
"We'll prepare the Eclipse tech. Battle protocols. Reinforcement units."
BATMAN
"We'll form strike teams. Each led by one member from the League, Horizon, and Legion."
WRAITHLOCK
"History won't remember the alliances. Only the outcome."
ZIL
(softly)
"Then let's make sure it's a story worth telling."
INT. WATCHTOWER – WAR ROOM – DAY
Dozens of screens display schematics, star maps, heat scans, and projected invasion routes.
Holograms shimmer as tech from Eclipse, Wayne Enterprises, and LexCorp sync up across the table.
The combined force—Justice League, Horizon Front, Young Justice, Teen Titans, Doom Patrol, and reluctantly, the Legion of Doom—crowds into one war room.
Tension buzzes like static.
ZIL (JET)
(calmly, to all)
"The one doing the murders… isn't a warrior."
Everyone stops.
ZIL
"He's a scout. A sensor unit. A collector. His job is to gather energy samples, map defenses, and report back."
CYBORG
(processing quickly)
"Wait—if he hasn't reported back yet…"
ZIL
(nods once)
"We have time."
EMMA (SKYLIFT)
"But not much. Once they know Earth is worth taking… they'll come."
NIGHTWING
(grim)
"Then we use that time. Every minute."
MONTAGE – PLANETARY PREPARATIONS
A powerful score kicks in—hopeful, tense, rising.
Wonder Woman trains younger heroes in off-world tactics and close-quarters combat.
Gravemark, Ironsoul, and Ironstride design force fields and ground defenses for major cities.
Zil activates an ancient Eclipse Beacon, coded with battle protocols and weapon blueprints.
Lex Luthor, despite protests, works side-by-side with Bruce Wayne on a high-powered satellite cannon.
Seraphine and Raven try to find a psychic link to the scout before it can signal.
Flash, Impulse, and Voltflame race to set up power siphons to trap the poison that Spaceworms release.
INT. PRIVATE ROOM – LATER
Zil stands over a projection of the galaxy, tracking slowly blinking red dots—the scouts.
ZIL
(quietly, to himself)
"They're waking up."
Emma walks in, arms crossed.
EMMA
"You told them the truth."
ZIL
(sighs)
"I had to. I won't let this world die because we were afraid of honesty."
EMMA
(softer)
"Then don't forget to trust them too."
INT. WAR ROOM – FINAL SHOT
SUPERMAN steps forward to the central podium. Every hero and villain listens.
SUPERMAN
"We don't fight because we're invincible. We fight because there's no one else coming."
Everyone stares at the screen.
A countdown begins.
Time until the report is sent: 93 hours… and ticking.
INT. WATCHTOWER – STRATEGIC HUD ROOM – NIGHT
The atmosphere shifts. Additional heroes enter through Zeta Tubes. Reinforcements.
ALFRED appears first, followed by the Bat-Family:
Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Robin (Damian), Spoiler, Orphan, Batwing, The Signal.
They move like shadows—coordinated, alert.
BATMAN turns to them.
BATMAN
"No killing. No solo runs. We fight as a family."
RED HOOD
(grinning)
"Sure, sure. Family barbecue. Space monsters invited."
ZETA TUBE FLARES AGAIN – TEAM FLASH ARRIVES
Barry Allen (Flash) speeds in, followed by Impulse, Kid Flash (Wally), Jesse Quick, and Jay Garrick.
BARRY
"Did someone say planetary defense? Sorry we're late—ran into a time anomaly in Central City."
ZIL
(without looking up)
"Time's still on our side… for now."
GREEN ARROW, WHITE CANARY & TEAM ARROW WALK IN
Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) enters with Black Canary (Dinah), Speedy (Thea), Connor Hawke, and Mia Smoak.
OLIVER
"Last time I checked, saving the planet didn't require spandex. Just precision."
ZIL
(genuinely amused)
"Good. We'll need both."
MONTAGE – COMBINED PREPARATIONS (EXTENDED)
The score swells, showing unprecedented collaboration.
Bat-Family reinforces Gotham with stealth defenses and anti-air capabilities.
Team Arrow deploys portable energy-piercing arrows tailored to Spaceworm anatomy.
Team Flash establishes evacuation corridors, using speedsters as mobile rescue ops.
Orphan and Black Canary train rookies in alien-kill precision.
Impulse and Spoiler create a high-speed relay system to transport supplies and intel across continents.
Batwing, Cyborg, and Mr. Terrific sync alien tech to Earth-based systems.
INT. COMMAND CENTER – NIGHT
Everyone is present now. A full council of Earth's champions, allies, and even enemies.
ZIL steps into the center of the room.
ZIL
(voice low, controlled)
"The one doing the murders… is just the beginning. They'll come. And when they do—"
He looks across the League, the Titans, the Doom Patrol, the Flash and Arrow families, the Horizon Front, and even the Legion of Doom.
ZIL
"We won't run. We won't beg."
(beat)
ZIL
"We'll show them this world fights back."
The screen behind him shows the countdown ticking:
83 Hours Remaining.
INT. WATCHTOWER – STRATEGIC HUD ROOM – CONTINUOUS
The room remains quiet. Zil takes a step forward, and the lights dim to focus on the central hologram—an outline of Earth with surrounding markers and alien glyphs.
ZIL
(calm, but grave)
"The one who did the murders… wasn't here to fight. Just to observe."
Everyone tenses. Superman folds his arms. Batman narrows his eyes.
ZIL
"They're a scout. An explorer class. That's why the bodies were left behind. It was a message—to them."
He waves his hand, projecting alien script on the table.
ZIL
"This was carved into one of the victims. Roughly translated, it says: 'Viable.'"
Gasps ripple across the room. Cyborg instantly runs a scan. Zil continues.
ZIL
"He's not a warrior. But we've got time. Explorers have to report before any fleet moves. A window of 83 hours—maybe less—before he sends a signal."
WRAITHLOCK (Horizon Front)
"So... what do we do with borrowed time?"
Zil stares into the center of the war table. Then his voice sharpens with leadership.
ZIL TAKES COMMAND – FORMING STRIKE TEAMS
ZIL
"We prepare. We hit first. And we don't scatter our strength—we strike smart."
He looks to Batman and Nightwing, who both give a subtle nod.
ZIL (CONT'D)
"I'm creating Strike Divisions. Blended teams—League, Titans, Doom Patrol, Horizon Front, even reformed members of the Legion. Specialized for one thing: stopping the Spaceworm fleet before it makes Earth their next meal."
He brings up 5 holographic emblems:
STRIKE TEAM ASSIGNMENTS:1. Team Aegis – Defense & Civilian Protection

BACK TO ROOM
GREEN ARROW
"Hell of a plan, Jet."
CYBORG
"I'm in. Let's break something."
SUPERMAN
"Earth stands united."
EMMA (SKYLIFT)
(to Zil, quiet)
"You're actually kind of good at this."
ZIL
(smirks faintly)
"Don't let it get to your head. We still have 83 hours."
EXT. DEEP SPACE – NEAR JUPITER'S ORBIT – NIGHT
The screen is almost silent. A cold, vast emptiness surrounds a floating, alien scout—a grotesque creature partially made of chitin and starlight. Its eye glows, pulsing like a heartbeat.
Suddenly—
Its body splits open, revealing a crystalline core pulsing black and red.
SCOUT (in alien tongue, subtitled):
"Viable. Feeding grounds located. Initiate harvesting fleet."
With a crackling, warped sound, a beam of twisted red energy shoots from its core into deep space.
INT. WATCHTOWER – STRATEGIC ROOM – SAME TIME
ALARM BLARES.
Red lights flicker.
ECHO-NULL
(in panic)
"Signal detected! Deep-space breach—origin: outer solar system!"
BATMAN
"Where's it going?"
ZIL (Jet)
(stern)
"Not where. To whom."
The main screen flashes:
Signal sent. Estimated Fleet Arrival: 46 Hours.
Everyone freezes. Emma clutches the edge of the table.
EMMA (Skylift):
"…They're coming."
SUPERMAN
"We start the countdown."
NIGHTWING
(to Zil)
"You were right."
ZIL
(quietly)
"I wish I wasn't."
EXT. SPACE – BLACKNESS TURNED BLOOD RED
We see nothing at first. Just silence. Then—thousands of red-glowing dots emerge from a void-like rift in space.
In their center, a colossal serpent-shaped entity, larger than any of Earth's cities, begins to emerge.
INT. VARIOUS LOCATIONS – PREPARATION SHOTS (MONTAGE)
Team Crucible suiting up in their war armor.
Team Umbra going invisible, slipping into shadows.
Civilians being evacuated through boom tubes and Zeta gates.
Young Justice and Teen Titans working together to build magical barriers and weapon stockpiles.
Zil, alone in his chamber, activating a glowing Eclipse sigil, eyes burning faint blue.
INT. GLOBAL NEWS NETWORKS – SIMULTANEOUS BROADCAST
TITLE CARD:"GLOBAL EMERGENCY BROADCAST"
Screens flicker across every major city.
Cat Grant in Metropolis.
Lois Lane at the Daily Planet.
Iris West from Central City.
Vicki Vale in Gotham.
CAT GRANT (solemn):
"We interrupt all programming. This is not a drill."
LOIS LANE:
"Earlier today, a joint press release was issued by the United Nations and the Justice League."
IRIS WEST:
"For the first time in history… all factions—heroic and otherwise—have agreed to stand as one."
VICKI VALE:
"And it's because of what's coming."
Screens shift to the Watchtower. Standing there are Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Zil (Jet), Nightwing, Emma (Skylift), and behind them—members of the Horizon Front, Legion, and others.
SUPERMAN (to the world):
"We are not alone. And this time... they are not here to negotiate."
BATMAN (grimly):
"A signal has been sent. A fleet is coming. In less than two days, Earth will face a force it was never meant to survive."
ZIL steps forward.
ZIL (Jet):
"This enemy does not want land. Or resources.
They want our strength. Our powers. Our planet's very energy.
And they will take it—unless we stop them."
He pauses, looking directly into the camera. Quiet. Focused.
ZIL (Jet):
"To every being watching this—meta or not…
This is no longer about factions.
This is about survival."
INT. WORLDWIDE – MONTAGE OF REACTIONS
A child clutching a hero action figure in India.
An old man turning up the volume in Japan.
Families in shelters across Central City.
Civilians watching in tears in Paris, Mexico City, Cairo, Tokyo.
A lone space explorer floating in orbit, eyes wide.
The broadcast ends with the League's seal—now modified with three symbols:
The League. The Horizon. The Legion.
Below it reads:
"UNITED EARTH RESPONSE – 46 HOURS UNTIL IMPACT"
WORLDWIDE BROADCAST — INTERPLANETARY THREAT ANNOUNCEMENT
The image crackles onto every screen across Earth — televisions, phones, satellite feeds, even inside Justice League comm systems and Horizon Front bases.
A massive, grotesque entity, resembling a translucent serpent with a crown-like ridge of cosmic light around its head, looms against a backdrop of stars. Its voice is deep, echoing, layered like multiple beings speaking at once.
Spaceworm:
"I am E'Zhaal, The Hungering Echo. I come not for conquest… but consumption.
Your planet pulses with energy, fed not by its core… but by you. The empowered. The gifted.
One among you burns brighter than most — a being capable of destroying the universe as I can…
Let him step forward. Or Earth shall be my feast."
Silence follows. Across the globe, chaos begins — panic, governments scrambling, civilians glued to screens.
WATCHTOWER — INITIAL WAR ROOM MEETING
The Justice League, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Doom Patrol, Horizon Front, Legion of Doom (begrudgingly), Bat-Family, Team Flash, and Team Arrow all gather in the largest strategy chamber ever used.
Batman stands with arms crossed, the screen frozen on E'Zhaal's last message.
Batman:
"We're out of time."
Superman:
"If we wait, we lose the initiative. We need coordinated strike teams, countermeasures, and contingencies."
Zil (Jet) steps forward, nodding solemnly. He taps a display, and planetary infiltration grids appear, alongside diagrams of known spaceworm biology.
Zil:
"This wasn't an attack. That was a scout… a signal.
. That means reinforcements are coming.
We have a window — a few hours maybe — before the first wave arrives. We strike first, we take control of the narrative."
Zil's Tactical Briefing
"The scout who killed those people wasn't a warrior. He's a messenger. A beacon.
The signal is still charging. We kill it before it finishes… maybe we stop the main fleet from finding Earth."
Zil pauses, looking over all the teams. His voice lowers.
Zil:
"But this won't be easy. When spaceworms die… they leave a toxin. It strips your powers temporarily. Doesn't care who or what you are.
Eclipse never found a permanent cure. Just survive long enough… and your powers might return."
Cutaway Montage: Final Preparations
Batman and Batgirl scanning blueprints.
Arrow and Arsenal assembling long-range EMP arrows.
Wally West pacing nervously but smiling at Raven.
Emma grips Zil's hand tightly before the teams depart.
Joe (Titanray) watching from afar, conflicted.
INT. WATCHTOWER — STRIKE TEAMS READY TO DEPART
The halls are tense. Dim blue lights pulse softly overhead as heroes check their gear. Emma adjusts her gloves, Raven meditates in a corner, Nightwing goes over routes one last time with Zil.
As the strike teams begin to step into the teleport pads, Superman catches up to Zil, his tone calm but serious.
Superman:
"Zil… That thing—E'Zhaal— said it could destroy the universe.
Did you know something like that even existed?"
Zil freezes. The others pause too—Emma, Nightwing, Batman, even Raven glance back.
Zil turns slowly, his face unreadable.
Zil (quietly):
"Yes."
A stunned silence.
Batman (stern):
"And you didn't think to mention this before?"
Zil doesn't flinch. His voice is heavy, restrained.
Zil:
"Because it was supposed to be a legend.
Eclipse told stories—myths—of the Hungering Echo, a being that fed on stars and could unravel galaxies with a whisper.
But… that's all it was. A campfire tale told to scare kids into respecting power.
I didn't believe it was real because…"
He trails off for a second, looking up at the ceiling — toward space.
Zil:
"...because if it was real… then why are we still alive?"
The silence hangs heavy. Superman doesn't press further, but the weight of the moment settles across the entire hall.
Emma (Skylift):
"...Then it's not just Earth that's in danger."
Nightwing:
"It's everything."
Zil nods grimly.
Zil:
"That's why we can't fail."
The teleporters power up, casting the team in white-blue light.
Zil (softly to himself):
"Legends don't wait forever."
INT. ORBITAL SPACE — AROUND EARTH – INFILTRATION MISSION ACTIVE
Silent black void. Stars in the distance. A single cloaked stealth ship emerges from the darkness—unseen by any Earth-based system. Onboard, the infiltration team prepares for entry:
Zil (Jet)
Skylift (Emma)
Nightwing
Raven
Martian Manhunter
Red Tornado
Seraphine
Wraithlock
Zil stares out into the vastness, arms folded.
Nightwing (quietly, checking his gauntlet):
"Still can't believe we're infiltrating a living planet-sized parasite…"
Skylift (half-joking):
"Hey, at least it's not another Gotham alley."
Raven (flat):
"The last time I felt this kind of dark pressure… it was my father. This… might be worse."
Wraithlock (serene):
"Their fear is raw. Deep. But not chaotic… they believe in their victory."
Zil narrows his eyes.
Zil:
"Then we teach them what hope looks like when it fights back."
Meanwhile…
INT. DEEP SPACE – THE CORE OF THE SPACEWORM COMMAND SHIP
E'ZHAAL—the massive, serpentine being that appeared in the broadcast—floats in meditation. His entire form pulses with cosmic pressure, outlined by molten-blue energy veins. Several lesser spaceworms bow before him, their elongated bodies rippling like mist in zero-G.
Suddenly, one of the lesser worms hisses and presses a crystalline node. A holographic rendering of Earth appears. Then… eight tiny flickers—the infiltration team.
Advisor Worm (hissing):
"They move."
E'Zhaal opens his eyes. Galaxies swirl within them. He speaks, his voice like collapsing stars:
E'Zhaal:
"Let them come. Let them see what they've stirred.
Every soul that dares hope… will feed my becoming."
He gestures to the Advisor.
E'Zhaal:
"And send the Vanguard. Make the planet scream."
INT. EARTH – WATCHTOWER – WAR ROOM
Back on Earth, the main teams prepare for phase two. Strike teams including:
Justice League (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman)
Young Justice (Beast Boy, Miss Martian, Superboy, Blue Beetle, Artemis)
Teen Titans (Starfire, Damian/Robin, Raven, Kid Flash, Red Hood)
Doom Patrol (Robotman, Elasti-Woman, Negative Man, Crazy Jane)
Bat-Family (Oracle, Spoiler, Red Robin, Orphan, Batgirl, Batwing, Signal)
Team Arrow (Green Arrow, Arsenal, Black Canary, Speedy)
Team Flash (Barry, Wally, Jay, XS, Cisco, Killer Frost)
Each receives coordinated assignments—cities, space defense zones, support operations, rescue plans.
Superman:
"Everyone knows the stakes. We're not just fighting to protect the Earth. We're fighting to prove we belong in this universe."
Cyborg (broadcasting across teams):
"Teleport nodes are charged. Shields holding. Let's show these things why Earth isn't easy prey."
Red Hood (to Robin):
"You ready, Demon Jr.?"
Robin:
"Tt. Born ready."
INT. WATCHTOWER – WAR ROOM
Monitors flicker with footage of cities under siege. Earth's greatest minds and mightiest heroes gather. A tactical map shows team movements across the globe and into space.
Batman (calm but focused):
"Strike teams are in place. This is now a planetary war. We win, or we vanish."
TEAM AEGIS – DEFENSE & CIVILIAN PROTECTION
Location: Metropolis / National Cities
Superman floats above a battle-scarred Metropolis. Beside him, Wonder Woman deflects energy blasts while Black Lightning creates an electric dome to shield evacuees.
Superman:
"Get them out. Keep the perimeter tight. Speedsters, circle sweep—catch any that breach."
Flash, Kid Flash, and Jesse Quick become golden streaks through the city.
Green Arrow (on comms):
"Star City's clear. Relocating to Coast City."
TEAM UMBRA – INFILTRATION & STEALTH RECON
Location: Subterranean Hive Network
In eerie silence, Nightwing, Orphan, Raven, Seraphine, and Wraithlock descend into the tunnels of a dormant hive. The walls twitch like muscle.
Nightwing (voice hushed):
"We find the core, tag it, and vanish. Fast and quiet."
Raven senses something—her soul-self flinches.
Raven:
"There's more than death in these tunnels… there's hunger."
TEAM SOLACE – MEDICAL & POWER RECOVERY
Location: Earth-side Triage Zones
Inside a shimmering protective dome, Skylift leads healing efforts. Zatanna chants restorative spells, while Ivy, grim-faced, grows regenerative pods for the wounded.
Skylift:
"Watch the vitals. If the poison is flaring, isolate immediately."
Cliff (Robotman) lumbers by with stretchers while Seraphine uses light energy to stabilize a soldier.
Zatanna (worried):
"This poison... it's like it eats the soul."
TEAM CRUCIBLE – POWERHOUSE STRIKE FORCE
Location: Orbiting Worm Portals
Zil bursts through the side of a worm-ship hull, fire spiraling around him. Gravemark manipulates gravity to crush defenders. Voltflame and Firestorm sweep through with pure devastation.
Zil (Jet) (into comms):
"Push forward. Every portal down is another second Earth breathes."
Starfire lights up, blazing trails of orange plasma as Cyborg interfaces with alien tech.
Cyborg:
"They're adapting. They're reading us now."
Zil:
"Then give them something they can't predict."
TEAM ECHO NULL – TECH WARFARE & SATELLITE CONTROL
Location: Low Earth Orbit, Echo Satellite Grid
Batman, seated calmly within a tech cockpit, watches holograms of the battlefield. Mr. Terrific, Lucent, and Echo-Null work fast at control stations.
Blue Beetle:
"We're bouncing their signal, but it's morphing. Like it's alive."
Batwing:
"They've adapted to our frequency again."
Batman (coldly):
"Then we change the rhythm. Lock pulse-code. Shut them down."
EMP surges fire through orbit, briefly blacking out alien comms.
INT. DEEP ORBIT – ABANDONED SPACEWORM SCOUT SHIP
Zil stands on the scorched deck of the hollow ship, flickering alien runes pulsing red. The inside is gutted—wires, membranes, and strange bone-like structures hang limp. Gravemark and Cyborg flank him as he moves deeper into the bridge.
Cyborg (checking readings):
"Something's wrong. The signal bounced off this thing... but the timing's off."
Gravemark:
"It's already been sent, hasn't it?"
Zil pauses. His eyes burn faintly.
He reaches forward and presses his hand against a glowing panel. Alien glyphs flash and merge.
Suddenly—
A projection erupts from the ship's memory banks. A massive holographic worm—not the scout—appears, monstrous in scale.
Spaceworm Commander (translated):
"Signal received. Coordinates logged.
Planetary strength assessed: Overestimated.
Target of convergence: Designated."
Zil (quietly):
"…No…"
The voice continues, louder now:
Spaceworm Commander:
"Final assault begins in 7 Earth rotations. Total planetary harvest initiated.
One being matches threat level. He must answer."
The message ends. Silence.
Zil breathes heavily—his hands shaking.
Zil (to himself):
"They know. They knew all along."
He turns to the others, face grim.
Zil:
"The scout... it wasn't just scouting. It was tagging Earth—activating the gate."
Gravemark:
"How long do we have?"
Zil doesn't answer right away. Then, he whispers:
Zil:
"Seven days."
DAY 1 – UNITING THE WORLD
Montage: News networks across the globe broadcast the truth. For once, no masks, no spin—just honesty. The Earth is under threat.
World leaders speak in unison.
Superman, standing before the UN, promises the world is not alone.
Civilians evacuate coastal cities, kids clutching superhero plushies.
Wonder Woman gives an inspiring speech in Themyscira; the Amazons prepare for war.
Atlantis, led by Aquaman, rises to join the surface.
DAY 2 – QUIET CONVERSATIONS
Batcave
Nightwing and Red Hood stand side by side.
Red Hood:
"Seven days to do what we never could in years."
Nightwing (half-smile):
"Talk like brothers?"
Red Hood:
"No. Win."
They clasp forearms.
Elsewhere – Cyborg & Raven in Titans Tower:
Raven (looking at Earth from the window):
"If we die, you better not glitch on me."
Cyborg (grinning):
"Only if you resurrect me dramatically."
They laugh, just once.
DAY 3 – JET'S QUIET MOMENT
Watchtower – Observation Deck
Zil stands alone, staring at the Earth. Emma walks up quietly.
Emma:
"You still think you're the problem, don't you?"
Zil keeps quiet
Emma:
"Letthem know you're not afraid anymore."
She holds out her hand. He takes it.
Emma (softly):
"Zil… we're not leaving this world. Not unless you do."
DAY 4 – FINAL TRAINING SESSIONS
Flash Family trains non-meta soldiers in fast-rescue ops.
Team Solace sets up medical hubs globally—Zatanna enchants magical safe zones.
Batman and Echo-Null remotely hijack a Spaceworm scout drone for recon.
Team Crucible, led by Zil, tests advanced weaponry. Gravemark spars with Starfire, both testing the limits of their strength.
DAY 5 – SECRETS & TRUTHS
Joe (Titanray) walks into Zil's training chamber.
Silence.
Joe:
"You still mad?"
Zil doesn't answer. Then:
Zil:
"Not mad. Just… tired."
Joe:
"You're not doing this alone."
Zil (quiet):
"I know."
They finally look at each other. Something unspoken is resolved.
DAY 6 – A WARRIOR'S MEMORY
Zil's Room – Night
He activates a hidden hologram: images of Eclipse before its fall. A child version of himself, laughing with Emma and their family. His eyes water slightly.
He whispers:
Zil:
"I'll protect this one. I promise."
DAY 7 – FINAL RALLY
INT. WATCHTOWER HANGAR – MORNING
Hundreds of heroes assembled. The lights dim. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman stand center.
Superman:
"This isn't just about powers or legacy. This is about home."
Batman (gruffly):
"We fight smart. We fight together."
Wonder Woman:
"And we do not yield."
Zil steps forward, glowing faintly.
Zil:
"You've followed me through my worst. Now follow me into our best. Let's make sure the stars remember that Earth fought back."
Thunderous applause.
INT. SPACEWORM COMMAND BIOSHIP – DEEP COSMOS – UNKNOWN LOCATION
Dark, luminescent walls pulse with blue-green biolight. Massive worm-like creatures—intelligent, ancient, terrifying—float and slither within an organic control chamber. Their voices echo not in words, but through thoughts translated into holographic glyphs and vibrations.
COMMANDER NY'SHEK – a sleek, armored worm adorned with crystalline protrusions – hovers before a vast starmap of Earth and its defenses.
Ny'shek (telepathically):
"The energy web woven across their planet… primitive, yet adaptive."
Another, older worm—Sage-Kin Va'rug—slithers from the shadows. His body is adorned in torn remnants of past-conquered worlds. His voice is slow… ancient.
Va'rug:
"They've learned… they resist. This is not the Earth we once ignored."
A younger scoutworm—Tirrlex, the one who initiated the invasion—floats in, his body flickering with nervous pride.
Tirrlex:
"I encountered resistance. Their powers are… volatile. I saw the one."
Silence.
Ny'shek (focused):
"The legend… the anomaly from Eclipse. Confirmed."
Va'rug (grim):
"He lives. Then our time is short. The absorption must begin."
Tirrlex wavers.
Tirrlex:
"We… may face difficulty. They have organized. Five task groups, coordinated. Magic, tech, brute force."
Ny'shek:
"Unusual. This species warred for centuries. What binds them now?"
Va'rug (low growl):
"Fear. Hope. The same lie in different garb."
He turns to the window—Earth glows like a jewel in the void.
Va'rug:
"Begin the countdown. Harvest teams prepare.
If they unite under a single flame... snuff it out first."
A final hum pulses through the bioship.
COUNTDOWN TO FULL INVASION INITIATED: 168 HOURS.
Back on Earth, the skies begin to shimmer faintly. Observatories worldwide report anomalies. Satellites glitch. Magic users feel the shift in the cosmos.
War is coming.
INT. GLOBAL NEWS NETWORK – LIVE BROADCAST STUDIO – DAY
The screen flashes red: "LIVE – WORLDWIDE ALERT." News anchors look visibly shaken. Behind them, satellite feeds display a surreal image—a colossal, serpent-like figure approaching Earth. Its body glows with cosmic veins, trailing black mist across the void.
ANCHOR (stammering):
"W-we're receiving confirmed visuals from multiple observatories… A massive entity has entered Earth's orbital range—resembling a—"
CAMERA SWITCH – SKY OVER METROPOLIS, THEN GOTHAM, THEN PARIS
People look up in horror. Visible to the naked eye, a shadow slithers across the stars.
ANCHOR (voice trembling):
"It appears to be a—giant… snake? No, correction—our sources say it is alive. A creature. From space."
A moment later, a new feed cuts in. It's a press statement from the Justice League Watchtower, featuring none other than—
JET (Zil) – appearing live, calm and firm.
Jet:
"To the people of Earth… what you're seeing is real.
That is a Spaceworm landing squad. The beginning of their invasion."
Shock ripples through the world. Crowds freeze. Reporters go silent.
Jet (continued):
"They don't negotiate. They consume.
We've been preparing, and now we act.
Stay with your loved ones. Evacuate when directed. Trust the heroes around you… We will fight back."
The screen cuts to footage of the strike teams mobilizing. Heroes flying, teleporting, riding jets. Cities powering down, shields rising. Troops and emergency personnel flood into evacuation zones.
INT. WATCHTOWER – STRIKE COMMAND ROOM
Zil steps back from the camera, face grim. Superman and Batman flank him.
Superman (quietly):
"That was good."
Zil (staring at the stars):
"They're only scouts. The real war hasn't even started."
Outside the window, the serpent looms larger. Earth holds its breath.
EXT. EARTH ORBIT – WIDE SHOT – NIGHT
Beyond the massive landing scout, more Spaceworms begin to slip out of rifts in the fabric of space. Dozens. Hundreds. Each one larger than the last. Their forms shimmer with obsidian scales, glowing lines pulsating like veins across their bodies. Some are serpentine, others armored like dragons, with jagged wings and horned heads. These are not scouts. These are warriors.
INT. WATCHTOWER – OBSERVATION DECK
The room darkens as the display screen flickers, trying to calculate the number of entities breaching into orbit. Warning sirens pulse in the background.
Cyborg (quietly, stunned):
"We're not looking at an invasion. We're looking at extinction protocol."
Nightwing:
"That's… more than we trained for."
Superman (gaze steel):
"Doesn't matter. We fight anyway."
Emma (Skylift) puts a hand to her comm, her voice broadcast across every strike team:
Skylift:
"Everyone. This is it. Stay with your teams. Watch your skies.
And don't give in to fear."
INT. BATCAVE – EARTH
Team Umbra gears up in the shadows.
Raven (to Nightwing):
"I sense death coming in waves. Like the ocean is turning black."
Nightwing (adjusting gauntlets):
"Then let's be the fire that holds the shore."
Red Hood loads rounds laced with Eclipse crystal dust. Orphan sharpens her blades. Lucent whispers a light incantation to steady her nerves.
INT. TITANS TOWER – SAN FRANCISCO
The Teen Titans gather at the roof, watching the sky through a telescope. The light dims unnaturally.
Beast Boy (nervous smile):
"Yo… this ain't gonna be like Star Wars, right? We're not the rebels—we're the whole planet."
Starfire (calmly):
"Then let us fight as if Earth is ours. Because it is."
Raven (telepathically, to Starfire):
"They're almost here. I can feel the fear of the world... building."
INT. STRIKE TEAM CRUCIBLE – ZIL'S WAR ROOM
Zil (Jet) watches the stars. Everyone's gone silent around him—Gravemark, Red Hood, Starfire, Voltflame. A flicker of fire dances on his knuckles.
Zil:
"The warriors have arrived."
Gravemark (low):
"Then so have we."
CUT TO: VARIOUS LOCATIONS – THE FINAL COUNTDOWN
Martian Manhunter guides civilians through a teleport hub.
Batman tightens his gauntlets before stepping into the Team Echo Null command center.
Flash and Kid Flash run emergency gear and intel across cities.
Zatanna and Seraphine draw protective circles on hospitals.
Doom Patrol silently nods to Skylift as they activate their med stations.
GLOBAL NEWS – FINAL MOMENTS BEFORE BLACKOUT
ANCHOR (emotionally):
"If this is the end… then let the world remember how Earth stood together.
Heroes, metas, soldiers, civilians—united against the dark."
The last image is of dozens of Spaceworms breaching orbit, the atmosphere igniting into red streaks as they fall.
INT. WATCHTOWER – ZIL (JET)
He stands alone for a moment, staring at a small Eclipse crystal in his hand. It pulses red.
Zil (softly):
"Let them come."
EXT. EARTH ATMOSPHERE – NIGHT
A fiery storm of red streaks rains across the sky. Dozens—no, hundreds—of Spaceworms breach Earth's atmosphere, their colossal forms spiraling like mythic serpents descending from the stars. But just before impact…
FLASH—
Their bodies shimmer. Twist. Bend. The impossible happens.
They shift.
Each monstrous Spaceworm begins morphing mid-air, their forms shrinking, folding, reshaping into tall humanoid figures—sleek, alien, and terrifyingly beautiful. Their skin gleams like obsidian glass or molten silver. Some have glowing eyes, jagged armor fused with flesh, or energy veins pulsing beneath translucent skin. All of them land on their feet, poised, collected… eerily human.
INT. WATCHTOWER – COMMAND DECK
Every hero team stares in stunned silence.
Green Lantern (wide-eyed):
"They… changed form?"
Wonder Woman (cautious):
"Shapeshifters…"
Nightwing (to Batman):
"This changes the infiltration dynamics entirely."
Everyone slowly turns toward Zil, who blinks awkwardly.
Zil (shrugging):
"…Oops?"
Superman:
"You forgot to mention they can shapeshift?"
Zil (defensive):
"Look, I didn't forget—it just… slipped my mind! It's not like they use it often! Only when they want to blend in. Or intimidate."
Skylift (deadpan):
"Zil."
Zil (sighs):
"Okay fine. They can shapeshift—but only into humanoid forms. It's instinctual. They hate how they really look. Too alien. So they mimic sentient bipeds—like humans, Eclipsians, Kryptonians… the scary ones copy you."
Superman raises an eyebrow. Batman narrows his eyes.
EXT. METROPOLIS – GROUND ZERO
The humanoid Spaceworms land across major cities—Metropolis, Gotham, Central City, Themyscira, Coast City, Star City. They don't attack yet. They stand tall, scanning… watching. Measuring Earth's defenses. Calm. Terrifyingly patient.
And then—
A booming voice pulses across every frequency on Earth, human and alien alike:
SPACEWORM COMMANDER (telepathic broadcast):
"We have arrived to claim the dying heart of your world.
A hero lives here… one who holds death in his palm.
Come forward, Jet.
Or we will drag your corpse from the ashes."
INT. WATCHTOWER – COMMAND DECK
Zil closes his eyes. The room grows cold.
Zil (softly):
"They want me."
Batman:
"We don't give them anything."
Superman:
"They'll come regardless. Let's make sure they regret it."
STRIKE TEAM ALERTS SOUND OFF.
Team Aegis moves into position over Earth's major cities.
Team Crucible gears up for engagement.
Team Umbra begins infiltration of the Spaceworm landing zones.
Skylift and Team Solace activate healing zones and prep for fallout.
Batman's Team Echo Null begins jamming enemy transmissions.
The world holds its breath.
The war has begun
EXT. METROPOLIS – DAY – GROUND ZERO
Skies crackle. The first wave of humanoid Spaceworms step forward from impact craters, their sleek forms radiating unnatural heat. One, tall and cloaked in a silver mantle, steps ahead of the others. His eyes glow with swirling galaxies. The world watches on screens, drones, satellites.
SPACEWORM LEADER (projecting telepathically):
"We are the Vanguard of the Deep Coil. I am Vor'Kal, Herald of the Eater Star."
(He gestures behind him.)
"Beside me: Xithra, the Wound-Singer. Moltrak, the Chain-Devourer. Orryx, Lord of Shifting Skin.
Earth, we have named you… The Ripening Flame. You will burn, and we will feast."
Superman steps forward, Team Aegis forming ranks behind him. Wonder Woman, Black Lightning, Flash, Kid Flash, Team Arrow—all ready.
Superman (calmly):
"You're not taking Earth."
Vor'Kal (smiling):
"Then show us why legends hide from your kind."
BOOM. The ground shakes. Energy erupts. The first direct engagement begins.
Superman launches into Vor'Kal, locking fists in midair.
Wonder Woman's lasso wraps around Moltrak, pulling him from the sky.
The Flash and Kid Flash streak around Xithra, who sings a war-song that disrupts soundwaves.
Black Lightning and Arsenal fire on Orryx, whose skin twists into their likeness.
It's chaos, beauty, and terror.
INT. DARKSIDE OF THE MOON – TEAM UMBRA OPERATION ZONE
Nightwing, Raven, Orphan, Seraphine, and Wraithlock creep through shadowy terrain near the largest Spaceworm nest crater. Their suits and gear suppress energy readings, cloaked under Umbra-mode.
Nightwing (over comms):
"We're in. No hostiles yet."
Raven (calmly):
"That's because they're not alive."
The team stops. Up ahead—statues. Spaceworm bodies, hollow. Empty husks posed like they were frozen mid-scream.
Wraithlock:
"This… isn't just a landing zone. It's a graveyard."
Seraphine (quietly):
"Or a warning."
Suddenly—static screeches over the comms. The air splits open behind them.
FWOOOM.
Black tendrils of starlight burst through the void—and from them steps a towering humanoid cloaked in obsidian armor, swirling blue fire around his eyes. His presence alone makes Orphan flinch. Raven steps in front of the team.
???:
"Jet. Come."
INT. SPACE – ABOVE EARTH
Zil, now fully in battle armor, is yanked from Metropolis through a sudden spatial breach. Superman watches, unable to stop it.
Zil floats in space, facing the being. The figure lowers his hood.
Zil (wide-eyed):
"E'Zhaal…"
E'Zhaal:
"The Eater Star has awakened. You, Jet… is the only one who can unmake it."
Below them, Earth burns in starlight.
EXT. ORBIT ABOVE EARTH – VOID CHAMBER – CONTINUOUS
Zil floats opposite E'Zhaal, cosmic winds curling around them. Behind Zil, Earth glows softly—small, fragile. Through a faint transmission link left open, everyone on Team Crucible, Aegis, Echo Null, and Umbra hears what's said. A cold silence fills their comms as E'Zhaal speaks.
E'Zhaal (echoing):
"You think the legends were only yours to remember, child of Eclipse?"
Zil (narrowing his eyes):
"What are you talking about?"
E'Zhaal (softly):
"We Spaceworms, born of cosmic entropy, devour stars, unravel civilizations. And yet… we waited. Because we too had a prophecy."
(He pauses, floating closer.)
"A mortal—not god nor beast—born with power to shatter existence itself. A being who would burn brighter than the cores of galaxies… and leave only silence."
Zil's breath catches in his throat. The others on comms—Superman, Nightwing, Emma, Raven, Batman—are struck speechless.
Zil (in disbelief):
"No… you're lying. If that being existed, the universe would already be—"
E'Zhaal (gazing into Zil's soul):
"It hasn't happened… because we were waiting. For you, Zil Andrew."
Emma (over comms, shaken):
"Zil…?"
Superman (quietly):
"He's... the reason they didn't destroy Earth…"
Nightwing (stoic):
"That's why they're here. Not just to feed. To confirm the legend."
Zil (furious, scared):
"No! I'm not that thing. I didn't ask for this!"
E'Zhaal (with quiet reverence):
"But you were born for it. You are the flame that could end the Coil… or ignite it further."
He begins to fade into the starlight again.
E'Zhaal:
"Choose well, Zil Andrew. For when we return... the stars will fall."
FWOOOM. The starlight closes, and Zil is suddenly alone again—suspended in silence.
Back on Earth, the entire battlefield halts for a moment. The world's strongest heroes have no words.
Emma whispers into the quiet:
Emma (softly, broken):
"…Zil… what are you?"
Zil looks back at Earth.
Zil (barely audible):
"I wish I knew."
EXT. ORBIT ABOVE EARTH – VOID CHAMBER – CONTINUOUS
Zil floats in stunned silence, staring at the planet he's now been told he was born to unmake. The weight of E'Zhaal's words presses heavily on him.
But then—
CRACK—BOOM!!
A black and silver blur collides into Zil from behind, sending him hurtling through a cluster of fractured asteroids. A shockwave ripples out into space.
E'Zhaal reappears from the void, no longer calm—his eyes now flaring with a violent, electric hue.
E'Zhaal (snarling):
"Prove you're not the one. Fight me!"
Zil (recovering mid-spin, fire glowing in his palms):
"You coward—attacking from behind?!"
FLARE!!
Zil's aura ignites—blue and red fire mixing, erupting with gravitational pulses. The orbit around them distorts as two cosmic forces clash.
INT. WATCHTOWER – COMMS ROOM – CONTINUOUS
Alarms blare. The League, Titans, and others watch the battle from orbit through satellite feeds.
Wonder Woman (tense):
"He provoked Zil into a duel... an ancient rite of dominance."
Batman (analyzing):
"No… it's more than that. He's testing Zil. Trying to draw out… something."
Superman (softly):
"The destroyer inside."
EXT. EARTH – VARIOUS LOCATIONS – SAME TIME
Team Aegis and Team Crucible are on standby, defending major cities. Civilians look to the sky as distant flashes of blue flame and purple gravity waves illuminate the heavens.
INT. ENEMY TUNNELS – DEEP BELOW EARTH – TEAM UMBRA
Nightwing, Raven, and the Bat-Family are traversing through a labyrinthine nest. Alien growths line the walls. They hear the shockwaves above and pause.
Raven (eyes glowing):
"That isn't just power. That's fate unraveling…"
Orphan (signing, then voice via device):
"We need to hurry. Whatever they are planning—this is a distraction."
Nightwing:
"Let's move. Stick to shadows. If Zil falls… we'll need to finish this ourselves."
BACK IN SPACE – THE VOID DUEL
E'Zhaal lunges with a blade made of collapsed matter. Zil dodges, barely, as it shears the tail of a comet behind him.
Zil grabs both hands together, concentrating his inner fire—his Eclipse Core.
Zil (angrily):
"You want proof?"
WHOOM—
A nova shockwave erupts from his chest. Fire and telekinetic force merge and smash into E'Zhaal, sending the worm spinning.
Zil (furious):
"Fine! I'll show you what I am!!"
INT. SKY BASE – DOOM PATROL MEDICAL WING
Emma clenches her fists, eyes wet.
Emma:
"Zil… please don't become what they say you are."
EXT. ORBIT ABOVE EARTH – THE VOID DUEL – CONTINUOUS
Zil's fire burns hotter, brighter, surging with ancient power he never meant to use again. E'Zhaal spirals through the void, his form cracking—but not breaking.
E'Zhaal (grinning through smoke):
"Yes… I see it now. You truly are the one."
Zil clenches his fists. Flames flicker into cold blue embers, unstable.
Zil:
"I'm not a god. I'm not your myth. I'm done being fate's puppet!"
With a shout, Zil launches, fists first—fire trailing behind like twin comets. E'Zhaal meets him with a gravitational roar, blades drawn.
Their clash lights the Earth below, visible even from the surface.
INT. SPACEWORM NEST – TEAM UMBRA – DEEP EARTH
The tunnels quake from the battle above. Dust rains down as Team Umbra pushes deeper—past alien tech and walls humming with life.
Raven stops.
Raven (whispering):
"This isn't just a nest…"
They turn the corner—and freeze.
A giant stasis chamber, pulsating green. Dozens—no—hundreds of Spaceworms, still in monstrous forms, sleep within.
Nightwing:
"They haven't deployed everything yet…"
Orphan (signs quickly):
"This is just the first wave."
Lucent taps into the alien system. A glowing projection flares—a map of Earth, dotted with invasion points. But one spot pulses red.
Wraithlock (concerned):
"What's that?"
Lucent:
"Something… under the Earth's core. Looks dormant. For now."
EXT. EARTH SURFACE – HEROIC STRIKE TEAMS – VARIOUS LOCATIONS
Team Aegis watches as the sky splits above them. A shockwave rolls through clouds, rattling buildings and the ocean alike.
Superman looks up, grim.
Superman:
"They're not holding back anymore."
Nearby, Wonder Woman nods.
Wonder Woman:
"Then neither will we."
Team Solace, meanwhile, preps evac zones and shields as civilians panic.
Emma (Skylift) grips her comm.
Emma:
"Zil… hang on."
Her eyes glow with resolve.
Team Crucible, with Red Hood, Cyborg, Starfire, and others, gear up near the battlefront.
Cyborg (watching satellite feeds):
"Whatever he's fighting—it's not just a worm. That thing's talking to him like he's a prophecy."
Starfire:
"Then let us ensure our friend does not become the prophecy."
Back in orbit…
EXT. SPACE – CONTINUOUS
E'Zhaal and Zil break apart again, both battered. The worm general's mask cracks—revealing something ancient and angry beneath.
E'Zhaal (voice ragged):
"If you deny your destiny, you doom this world."
Zil (breathing heavily):
"Then I'll make a new one."
They clash again—cosmic fire vs collapsing gravity—as the fate of Earth hangs in the void.
INT. SPACEWORM NEST – EARTH CORE TUNNELS – TEAM UMBRA
The walls begin to shudder violently. Cracks form in the ceiling above the stasis pods.
Raven (eyes wide):
"Something's wrong. That impact… wasn't here."
Nightwing taps his earpiece—radio static. Then—
Oracle (urgent):
"Zil's gone offline! Something just crashed into Jupiter—it's him."
Wraithlock grabs the alien map.
Wraithlock:
"We have the location of their primary relay—it's near the Earth's magnetic center. If we don't shut it down, the next wave wakes up."
Orphan signs rapidly: Then we destroy it.
Nightwing:
"Umbra, move. We find the relay. Blow it. Get out."
They sprint into the dark, alien sirens blaring behind them. Stasis pods begin to open.
EXT. SPACE – JUPITER – ZIL'S IMPACT CRATER
The gas giant now bears a new scar—a burning crater, rippling with planetary storms and crackling energy.
Zil lies at the center, barely moving. His suit is shredded, smoke pouring from his body.
E'Zhaal (hovering above):
"You should have accepted it. You are what I was waiting for."
Zil's fingers twitch. A pulse of fire glows in his chest—his voice comes low and broken, but determined.
Zil:
"Permission to go… all out."
Superman (over comm, stunned):
"Zil… what are you—?"
Zil (softly):
"You've all fought for this world. Time I finally do the same."
He vanishes in a surge of blue fire—not teleporting, not flying. Breaking reality itself. Everyone watches as a beacon of flame streaks from Jupiter to Earth in seconds.
INT. JUSTICE LEAGUE WATCHTOWER – STRATEGIC COMMAND
Batman, staring at data projections, sees the energy spike.
Batman (calmly):
"He's gone 100%."
Wonder Woman steps forward.
Wonder Woman:
"Then it begins."
EXT. EARTH ORBIT – CRUCIBLE LAUNCH PLATFORM
Team Crucible—Zil's elite strike force—prepares for their deep-space assault. The launchpads hum beneath them, opening wormholes via Lantern constructs and alien tech.
Red Hood cocks his pistols.
Red Hood:
"Tell me again why I signed up for a suicide squad?"
Starfire (glowing):
"Because you care."
Cyborg's systems light up with cosmic coordinates.
Cyborg:
"Ready to go dark. Breach coordinates locked. We follow Jet's path."
Green Lantern (Kilowog):
"Crucible Squad—light 'em up."
The portals ignite, and the team launches into space, their objective: the Spaceworm command core on the edge of the solar system.
INT. SPACEWORM NEST – TEAM UMBRA ESCAPE CONTINUES
Pods break open. Alien shrieks echo through the tunnels.
Lucent (hacking frantically):
"Relay's destabilizing. We have sixty seconds!"
Raven hovers over the core and unleashes her soul-self, fracturing the alien tech. Orphan sets charges.
Nightwing turns back one last time as the ceiling begins to fall.
Nightwing:
"Let's go home."
They vanish just as the entire lower nest explodes, taking the relay—and hundreds of dormant Spaceworms—with it.
Meanwhile…
EXT. EARTH SKY – DAY TURNED TO FIRE
Zil returns, a blazing figure of godlike fire, crashing through Earth's atmosphere. The clouds part. Oceans rise. Every screen on the planet flickers.
News Anchor (terrified):
"We're getting live footage… something just came out of Jupiter. It—it's Jet. He's glowing—my God…"
E'Zhaal descends, now armored in gravitational black.
E'Zhaal:
"Let's see what kind of destroyer you are."
Zil (blue fire crackling, eyes glowing):
"I'm not a destroyer.
I'm your extinction."
EXT. OUTER SPACE – COSMIC PLANE
As Zil and E'Zhaal clash again, the very stars begin to shift.
Planets tremble. Galaxies bend.
Light warps and twists as cosmic bodies—stars, moons, fragments of dead worlds—converge around Zil.
E'Zhaal (shaken):
"What are you—what is this?!"
Zil floats silently at the center of the phenomenon. His fire dims—and turns into pure radiant blue light.
The planets stop inches from him… and then transform.
A blade begins to forge itself from celestial mass, forming into a gleaming katana of mythic scale—its hilt forged from collapsed suns, its edge singing with gravitational harmony.
Zil opens his hand and the Katana of Galaxies lands in his grip.
He turns his gaze to Jupiter, still scarred and broken from his crash… and raises his free hand.
Time cracks.
Like a reverse meteor strike, the gas giant heals itself, the crater vanishing, storms rewinding. The planet is restored.
Zil (quietly, to himself):
"This power… it was never about destruction."
Then he vanishes again—reality bending around his motion.
EXT. EARTH – NIGHT BEFORE THE FINAL ASSAULT
A haunting red glow fills the skies as more spaceworm silhouettes descend—miles wide, blotting out stars. The Earth trembles with the arrival of the warrior class.
INT. A.E.G.I.S. COMMAND – EARTH SHIELD HQ
Superman stands on the central platform, arms crossed. Wonder Woman sharpens her blade. The Flash family stands by, silent for once. John Diggle and Team Arrow await deployment orders.
The room is quiet, tense.
Superman:
"We don't know how many are coming… only that they've chosen Earth to prove something. We're not letting them."
Black Lightning puts a hand on a young hero's shoulder.
Black Lightning:
"We protect. That's our job. That's always been our job."
INT. GOTHAM SAFEHOUSE – BAT-FAMILY HUD ZOOM
Red Robin, Spoiler, and Batwing watch the feeds.
Spoiler (nervously):
"Did Jet really… fix Jupiter?"
Red Robin:
"He bent time. And forged a weapon out of stars. We've officially entered a whole new category of impossible."
Oracle (over comm):
"Then we better hold the line until he gets back."
INT. TEAM SOLACE MED BAY – UNDERGROUND TRINITY BASE
Emma (Skylift) works tirelessly with Zatanna and Ivy, creating healing nets, power-restoring salves, and anti-poison capsules. In the background, Doom Patrol supports evacuees.
Emma:
"He's alive. I can feel it. But when he comes back... he'll need us to still be standing."
EXT. EARTH ATMOSPHERE – NEWS DRONES LIVE BROADCAST
All around the planet, the sky splits open as humanoid Spaceworms in armored form rain down like shooting stars. The first lines land.
World News Anchor:
"This is it, everyone. The first wave has arrived. Heroes across the world are standing by—"
Thunder cracks as lightning, magic, and tech meet incoming invaders.
FINAL MOMENTS BEFORE THE WAR
The world holds its breath.
And in the upper atmosphere, just above it all… a blue shimmer begins to burn back into view.
Zil is coming back.
But is he too late?

FINAL MOMENTS BEFORE THE WAR
The world holds its breath.
And in the upper atmosphere, just above it all… a blue shimmer begins to burn back into view.
Zil is coming back.
But is he too late?
EXT. EARTH'S UPPER ATMOSPHERE – NIGHT
As chaos rages below, the skies suddenly warp.
A deep hum fills the air, and then—a line of blue fire tears across the clouds.
Descending like a meteor, the celestial figure slams into the battlefield.
Zil, blazing with energy, lands mid-fight, blade of stars in hand, eyes burning with clarity and fury. The sheer impact knocks Spaceworm forces off their feet for miles.
Jet is back.
Raven (watching from a rooftop, softly):
"He's changed."
Superman (over comm):
"Zil, what happened out there?"
Zil (calmly):
"The legend is real. I've seen it. And I am the reason it hasn't destroyed the universe yet."
Spaceworms pause their attacks momentarily… sensing it.
Zil (to everyone listening):
"Hold the line. I'm going to end this."
INT. DEEP SPACE – TEAM CRUCIBLE'S SHIP – APPROACHING WORM HIVE
Team Crucible, led by Gravemark and Cyborg, enters orbit near the enemy's hive-world-class vessel—a massive biomechanical space fortress coiled around a dwarf planet.
Inside the dark ship:
Voltflame ignites his arms, tension on his face.
Starfire scans with narrowed eyes. "It's… absorbing power from a dead star."
Red Hood loads rounds. "No stealth here. We go loud."
Firestorm and Green Lantern coordinate with satellite drones to begin the breach.
Cyborg (to Crucible):
"This is it. Strike hard, hit the core, and destabilize their command. Jet bought us time—let's use it."
Suddenly, a massive worm-shaped guardian bursts from the asteroid field, blocking their approach. But before it attacks—
Zil's voice comes over Crucible's comms.
Zil (telepathically):
"I see you. You're close. Let me clear the path."
Far across space, a single slash of Zil's katana rips through dimensions—the space guardian explodes into light.
Starfire:
"He's not just fighting… he's rewriting reality."
EXT. EARTH – COORDINATED PUSH
Back on Earth, Zil leads a charge, taking point with Superman, Wonder Woman, and Nightwing behind him. The enemy now knows: he's not running anymore.
Wonder Woman (to Zil):
"You returned with the stars at your side."
Zil:
"Let's see if they remember why they feared us."
EXT. EARTH – THE WARZONE, MID-BATTLE
Just as Zil finishes cutting down a powerful Spaceworm commander, the wind shifts unnaturally. Lightning flickers in unnatural patterns. The sky above rips open, not like a portal—more like reality surrendering.
And from it steps—
E'ZHAAL.
Casual. Bored. Disappointed.
E'Zhaal (arms behind his back, expression blank):
"This is disappointing, Jet. You're not fighting at your full potential."
All the heroes nearby freeze. Even the Spaceworms step back.
Zil (confused and breathing heavy):
"I am. This is all of me."
E'Zhaal (grins, almost mockingly):
"No… No, it isn't. You think you've reached your limit… but you've merely scratched the surface."
Suddenly, with a snap of his fingers, four bodies appear, bound and unconscious—
Emma, Brooklyn, Jen, and Tayler.
Nightwing (eyes wide):
"No…"
Superman (furious):
"You touched civilians—"
E'Zhaal:
"Oh, but they're his attachments, aren't they? His… anchors. His weakness."
Zil's breath catches. His grip on the katana trembles slightly.
Zil (quietly):
"Let them go."
E'Zhaal (smiling darkly):
"No."
And then he raises his hand.
A pulse of energy forms—deadly, precise. A kill shot. He intends to erase all four instantly.
E'Zhaal:
"If you want to awaken your true potential, Jet… loss must be real. Pain must be absolute."
The battlefield erupts in chaos—everyone yells or rushes forward, but they're all frozen in place, held in a telekinetic stasis field.
Raven (screaming in her mind):
"No no no—!"
Superman (through clenched teeth):
"Zil—do something!"
Everything slows.
The world goes silent—except for the beating of Zil's heart.
Then—
BOOM.
A shockwave explodes outward from Zil.
His katana shatters.
But the fragments don't fall—they orbit around him, burning white-hot.
Zil (eyes glowing with starlight):
"I said… let them go."
And in the blink of an eye—
He's behind E'Zhaal.
Blade reformed.
Blood on it.
E'Zhaal's hand—severed mid-blast.
Everyone breaks free of the stasis field.
Zil (low, shaking):
"You want full power? You'll get it. But not at their cost."
He gestures, and his friends are teleported away in a beam of crystal blue light—safe.
Emma (just before vanishing):
"Zil—don't lose yourself."
E'Zhaal slowly looks at his bleeding wrist… and smiles.
E'Zhaal:
"Finally. Now we begin."
EXT. COSMIC BATTLEFIELD – BETWEEN PLANETS AND STARS
Zil, glowing with a light no being has ever matched, tears through Spaceworm Generals—not with skill, but with raw fury. Reality bends around his attacks. Each strike erases entire chunks of space.
The heroes scream at him, their voices barely piercing the roar of power:
Superman:
"ZIL—STOP! YOU'LL TEAR EVERYTHING APART!"
Wonder Woman:
"You're slipping—stand down!"
Nightwing (through coms):
"Zil, please! Think of Emma—think of who you are!"
But Zil doesn't hear them.
He's beyond thought.
His katana splits again, now a galaxy-sized vortex of light and fire, and he plunges it downward.
EXT. UNIVERSE – A MOMENT LATER
Silence.
Everything is gone. No planets. No heroes. No sound. Just Zil, floating in an endless void. His body flickers between light and shadow.
He looks around.
Nothing answers him.
Zil (weakly):
"...No."
He drops to his knees mid-air, tears rising from his face and drifting like stardust.
Zil (screaming):
"BRING THEM BACK!!"
His scream echoes in the void—then bends reality itself.
REVERSE – TIME SNAPBACK
Zil's scream shatters time. Stars explode in reverse, galaxies spiral inward, and suddenly—
FLASH.
They are back at that single moment:
E'Zhaal, arm outstretched, about to kill Emma, Brooklyn, Jen, and Tayler.
Zil—back in his body—yells:
Zil:
"STOP!!"
And everything freezes.
Time. Light. Sound. All paused like a breath held too long.
Zil stumbles forward, confused. He's still glowing—still overflowing—but something is different.
Zil:
"What…?"
Behind him, a voice.
Calm. Deep. Familiar, yet impossibly ancient.
???:
"You rewound the cosmos, my son. Not even I expected you'd awaken so soon."
Zil turns—
And sees a tall figure cloaked in flowing energy, his presence casting no shadow.
His face is partially hidden, but his eyes—they're like Zil's. Burning with potential. Infinite, terrifying, beautiful.
Zil (staggered):
"...Who are you?"
Mystery Man (stepping closer):
"I… am your father."
Zil's eyes widen.
The glowing katana in his hand hums.
Zil:
"No. That's not possible. My father… he died. With our people."
Mystery Man (softly):
"Yes, but I'm your real father."
Behind them, E'Zhaal's frozen form trembles—something is resisting time stop.
TIME-FROZEN REALITY – BETWEEN HEARTBEATS
The stars remain paused. E'Zhaal's hand is still mid-swing toward Emma and her friends. Zil stands face-to-face with the mysterious figure.
John (calmly):
"My name is John. And I—"
Zil (firmly interrupting):
"No. Not now."
John pauses, tilting his head in curiosity.
Zil:
"If what you're saying is true… then you've been watching all this time. You know what's at stake."
He turns toward E'Zhaal, fury simmering just beneath his skin.
Zil (coldly):
"I have a fight to finish."
John chuckles—not mockingly, but with a strange sense of fatherly pride.
John:
"Then finish it you shall. But next time..."
He lifts his arm and slowly points.
Zil follows the gesture—
It's directed right at Emma's friends: Brooklyn, Jen, and Tayler.
Zil's brows furrow.
Zil:
"Why them?"
John (softly):
"Because they're part of you. Whether you realize it yet or not.
I'll explain… everything. Soon."
Then he steps closer, his hand glowing faintly. He places it on Zil's chest.
John:
"But I can only grant you this once.
Ten minutes. Your full strength. All of it—without restraint, without chaos.
Use it well, my son."
A burst of ancient power flows through Zil like fire through the veins of a star.
John (fading into light):
"I'll be waiting."
Zil's eyes blaze. The frozen universe begins to pulse again.
TIME RESUMES – SPACE BATTLEFIELD
KRRAAAAAAK!!
E'Zhaal's strike continues—
But before it lands, a flash of radiant force erupts.
Zil appears between them in an instant, his hand catching E'Zhaal's blade mid-air.
Zil (calm, deadly):
"You wanted the real me?"
He shoves E'Zhaal back with such force the air ripples across the vacuum of space.
Zil:
"You've got ten minutes."
Everyone watching—from Earth to the farthest satellites—can feel it:
Something has changed.
This is not Jet.
This is not the noble Zil Andrew.
This is something the universe was not prepared for.
SCENE SPLIT: BATTLEFIELD – SPACE / EARTH WATCHPOINTS
[ZIL vs E'ZHAAL – ASCENSION ROUND]
A storm of fire, light, and gravity explodes outward from Zil as he shoots toward E'Zhaal, his blade now pure cosmic energy, singing the space around it.
E'Zhaal (delighted):
"Ah! There it is. The birthright of your kind!"
Zil doesn't speak. His strikes are fast, blinking through dimensions. Every time he slashes, entire stars bend, nebulae tear, and void-space screams.
They clash above Jupiter's orbit, then crash down through Saturn's rings, burning trails of energy behind them. E'Zhaal finally stumbles.
E'Zhaal (serious now):
"You're not a weapon. You're a force."
[EARTH – Justice League Command Watchpoint]
The entire Earth sees the sky turn colors unknown to science. Galaxies fold like origami in the distance.
Superman (in awe):
"He's not just powerful… he's reality-bending."
Wonder Woman (tight grip on sword):
"And this is him... contained."
Cyborg (analyzing):
"We're reading quantum spikes outside the observable universe. He's tapping into something older than time."
[TEAM CRUCIBLE – Deep-Space Strike Ship]
Starfire:
"He's beautiful."
Green Lantern (staring out the window):
"Or terrifying."
Voltflame:
"Maybe both."
Red Hood (loading weapon):
"We should be out there with him."
[TEAM UMBRA – Enemy Stronghold Infiltration]
Raven pauses, feeling it deep in her soul.
Raven (whispers):
"He's beyond emotion right now. It's...pure intent."
Nightwing:
"Jet... whatever you are now—come back to us after this."
[SKYLIFT'S MEDICAL POST]
Emma, Brooklyn, Jen, and Tayler stand together, watching the sky burn with color.
Emma (quietly):
"He's fighting for all of us."
Jen (teary):
"Then we'd better be worth it."
[SPACE – THE FIGHT REIGNITES]
Zil grabs E'Zhaal and hurls him across the rings of Saturn. His katana expands into a spear, then a giant hammer, then back into a singing blade—his will shaping reality.
E'Zhaal finally breathes hard, laughing.
E'Zhaal:
"You've surpassed every worm, every god, every legend."
Zil (cold):
"I haven't started."
Clock: 3 minutes left.

Zil (cold):
"I haven't started."
Clock: 3 minutes left.
[FINAL PHASE – ZIL VS E'ZHAAL – COSMIC VOID]
E'Zhaal, bruised and battle-worn, hovers in space, his armor cracked, energy leaking from his limbs like liquid light.
E'Zhaal (grinning, blood on his lip):
"Enough for now. I underestimated you… little king."
He lifts his clawed hand toward the sky.
E'Zhaal (broadcasting psychically):
"All units, retreat. We will return. And next time… we finish this."
In orbit, the humanoid Spaceworm warriors shimmer, shifting into energy and vanishing into retreating starships. The remaining beasts scatter.
Zil floats in silence, cosmic wind whipping around him. He lowers his blade.
Zil (quiet, to himself):
"Next time… I'll be ready."
Suddenly, he vanishes in a golden blink of time-energy—returning to Earth.
[TEAM UMBRA – DEEP ENEMY TERRITORY]
Team Umbra is moving fast—Raven and Seraphine shielding them with shadow magic while Orphan and Wraithlock cover the rear. Nightwing holds a cracked datapad glowing with eerie green glyphs.
Nightwing (to comms):
"We've got it. Plans. Coordinates. Names. They're not just conquering—they're seeding something into the planet's core."
Lucent (patching through):
"Copy that. Echo-Null is locking your exit point. You've got thirty seconds before the tunnel seals."
They move faster. In the distance, creatures begin to stir, alerted to the breach.
Raven:
"We don't have thirty seconds."
Suddenly, a surge of violet energy rips through the corridor. A Spaceworm general, partially shifted into a beast, appears and growls.
General Vurraak:
"Thieves. You don't belong in the dark."
Wraithlock (raising his twin daggers):
"Neither do you."
An intense fight erupts. Quick, brutal, and silent. Seraphine uses light magic to blind him, giving just enough time for Orphan to pierce his weak spot.
Nightwing (through gritted teeth):
"Go! Go now!"
As the portal begins to shimmer, Team Umbra dives through, clutching the intel.
[EARTH – WATCHPOINT RETURN]
The team re-emerges into the bunker—bloodied, exhausted, but alive.
Batman (stepping forward):
"What did you find?"
Nightwing (handing over the pad):
"The truth."
[CLOSING MOMENTS]
The heroes regroup.
The world breathes again—for now.
And deep in orbit…
E'Zhaal watches Earth silently, muttering.
E'Zhaal:
"Just a little longer, child of Eclipse. Let's see if you're truly a legend."
[TEAM ECHO-NULL – DECRYPTION ROOM, WATCHTOWER]
The room hums with layers of technology—holograms flicker, machines tick in quiet sync. Batman, Lucent, Mr. Terrific, Blue Beetle, and Batwing surround a central holotable where Nightwing's stolen datapad is now projected in full complexity.
Lucent (typing rapidly):
"It's not just coordinates… it's a three-tier encryption woven with alien runes and quantum locks."
Mr. Terrific (leaning in):
"They masked it in a way I haven't seen before. The encryption adjusts in real time, like it's… alive."
Blue Beetle (Jaime, eyes wide):
"You're saying it thinks?"
Batman (coldly):
"No. It's learning."
They work in silence, synchronized, relentless. Finally—a breakthrough. The hologram fractures, shifting into a full 3D model of Earth's mantle.
The planet pulses in the projection—veins of red, then green, then... black. Something is spreading.
Batwing:
"They're injecting something into the core. A bio-mechanical structure."
Lucent (reading):
"The data calls it… The Chrysalis Anchor."
Batman:
"It's not just an invasion. It's a terraform protocol."
[THE CHRYSALIS ANCHOR – WHAT IT DOES]
Mr. Terrific projects a simulation:
The Chrysalis Anchor is feeding off geothermal energy and life signatures.
It's converting Earth's planetary life force into spaceworm-compatible energy, slowly transforming the world into a hive-world.
When fully grown, it will birth a new celestial creature—a Spaceworm god, tethered to Earth's core.
Blue Beetle (horrified):
"They're turning Earth into a mother egg…"
Lucent:
"And if it hatches, Earth dies."
[BATMAN'S RESPONSE]
Batman (to comms):
"Priority update to all teams. Phase Two of invasion confirmed. New objective—identify, locate, and neutralize all Chrysalis Anchor nodes. This takes precedence over all secondary targets."
Mr. Terrific:
"We have a list of potential seeding points. One's already grown near the Marianas Trench. The others are spreading fast. We don't have much time."
[ENDING MOMENT – PRIVATE CHAT BETWEEN BATMAN & LUCENT]
Batman (quietly):
"This was never about conquest. It was about rebirth."
Lucent:
"Or extinction."
[ZIL & EMMA – AFTER THE REVELATION]
Location: Justice League Watchtower – Observation Deck
The Earth glows blue and green beneath them. Zil stands near the window, his expression distant. Emma walks up beside him, her presence grounding.
Emma (gently):
"You really did it… You reversed time, Zil."
He doesn't answer right away. His eyes shimmer faintly, reflecting starlight—and guilt.
Zil (quietly):
"I destroyed it all, Em. In another version of this moment, they're all gone. You… you were gone. I saw it happen. I let it happen."
Emma (fierce, touching his hand):
"But you brought us back. That matters."
Zil finally turns to face her, expression taut.
Zil:
"It was E'Zhaal. He pushed me. And after I lost control… someone stopped time. Said he was my father. 'John.'"
Emma (startled):
"You saw him again?"
Zil:
"He told me I'd fight at full strength—for ten minutes only. That next time, I'd need you and the others. He pointed at your friends. Said there's more to all of this…"
[BRIEFING ROOM – LATER]
The Justice League and allies gather. The room is packed: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Bat-Family, Team Solace, Crucible, Umbra, Flash and Arrow teams. Zil stands at the center.
Zil (addressing all):
"The timeline we're in now—this one—is not the first. I lost control… and destroyed the universe. It was brought back. You were all brought back."
Gasps ripple through the room. Superman stiffens. Nightwing's expression darkens. Raven looks at Zil in silent understanding. Even Batman's eyes narrow subtly.
Tayler (in disbelief):
"You're saying we all died?"
Zil (nodding):
"And I screamed the universe back into existence."
Brooklyn (quietly):
"That's… how?"
Zil:
"A wormhole of emotion. Rage. Regret. Power I didn't know I had. Then he appeared. John. My real father. He said I'm part of a legacy older than the stars."
There's a long silence.
Superman (stepping forward):
"Where is this… John?"
Zil:
"He'll come again. But first… I need to talk to him."
Batman (firmly):
"You're not going alone."
Emma (stepping up):
"We're going with you. You're not carrying this by yourself."
Wonder Woman (nods):
"Whatever this legacy is… it affects all of us now."
Cyborg:
"Especially if this John guy can bend time and point fingers at people mid-apocalypse."
Nightwing (to Zil):
"We fight together. Even if the war is inside you."
[WATCHTOWER – GRAND HALL]
All major heroes are gathered: the Justice League, Young Justice, the Titans, Team Umbra, and even members of Horizon Front. The atmosphere is tense after Zil's return and the revelation about Earth's core.
Suddenly, without warning, the room distorts—like a ripple in time and space. The light dims as a celestial figure manifests mid-air: not solid, but glimmering, half-transparent, like a being made of stars.
Zil steps forward, unfazed.
Zil (softly):
"…John."
The figure turns, eyes glowing gold, a warm yet unreadable expression on his face.
John (voice echoing slightly):
"I can't be there yet… but I wanted to speak while time allowed."
The room falls into silence. The projection's presence is powerful—but not real. Batman narrows his eyes. Emma grips Zil's hand tightly.
Zil (to the others):
"He's not here in the flesh. This is a projection—a consciousness echo… like a magical recording. But he's aware of what's happening."
John nods solemnly.
John:
"What I say now, I say to all of you. Especially them."
He turns toward Jen and Tayler. They tense.
John:
"You've both felt it. Power beyond what you can explain. Moments you couldn't control. Emotions that didn't feel entirely your own."
Jen's eyes widen. Tayler's jaw tightens.
John (smiling faintly):
"You are not just powerful… you are part of a legacy. You are my children—Zil's younger siblings."
Gasps echo across the room.
Brooklyn (whispers):
"Wait—what?!"
Jen (staggered):
"No… that can't…"
Tayler (stepping forward):
"Why now? Why tell us like this?"
John (gently):
"Because the truth would've endangered you before. Now, it strengthens you."
Zil lowers his head, breathing deeply, as though a weight is being lifted—and replaced by a new one.
Zil (softly):
"I'm sorry I didn't know sooner."
John (turning to everyone):
"This war is not just about Earth. It's about everything beyond it. The balance of cosmic power. My children… were always meant to be at the center of it."
As the heroes process this, John's form begins to flicker—unstable.
John reveals his true self.. a dragon
[WATCHTOWER – STRATEGIC CHAMBER HIDDEN MEETING]
John stands now in his true form—a towering, shimmering dragon with stars swirling in his scales. His golden eyes flick to each of them, old pain carried in every word.
The room is silent.
John (deeply):
"This story is from far, far ago… before your histories, before your galaxies were fully born. Dragons lived peacefully with humans. We shared the skies… and sometimes, even dreams."
Emma, Tayler, Jen, and the rest of the heroes listen in stunned silence.
John:
"But in time… humans began to fear the dragons. Fear turned to violence. They hunted us."
The heroes exchange glances. This is no bedtime legend—it's real.
John (stronger):
"But dragons were powerful. More than creatures of fire or flight. We came in aspects. For every power you know—fire, ice, earth, light, shadow, thought."
Eyes widen. Even Batman raises a brow.
Shock floods the room.
John (with sorrow):
"Humans, desperate to compete, created something new. A corrupted echo of what we were born with… something they called Magic. But not the kind that heals or binds… they birthed what would be called Dark Magic."
John (quietly):
"And it could rival almost any dragon."
The tension spikes. Jen grips the table. Zil's eyes darken.
John:
"The dragons were divided into Segments. The Low, the High, and the Hierarchy. One of the Hierarchy… a dragon of pure Creation… saw what was coming. He created a hidden place. A realm, a sanctuary."
John (pained):
"But the humans… found it."
The silence grows heavier.
John:
"To protect the others… he revealed himself. Distracted them. Gave the rest time to escape."
John (anger rising):
"But the humans… killed him."
Emma covers her mouth. Even Superman looks shaken.
John (voice low, bitter):
"And as a reward… they ate him."
Gasps echo around the room.
John:
"But something strange happened. Some humans collapsed… their bodies unable to contain the essence. But others… others changed. Their Dark Magic twisted… evolved into something new. Something worse. Into Destruction itself."
John (growling):
"They learned a terrible truth: When you consume a dragon… you gain its power. Fire, Ice, Earth, Sight, Speed—every trait, every gift… stolen."
The room explodes into murmurs of disbelief.
Zil (gritted):
"They became dragon slayers. Not just to kill… but to steal."
John (nodding):
"Yes. That was the beginning of the Dragon Purge. Not a war. A Harvest."
The room is heavy with silence.
Zil grips the edge of the table. His knuckles pale. Emma watches him—fear and awe in her eyes. Tayler steps back. Jen's lips part, whispering, "No way…"
Superman's eyes narrow. Wonder Woman looks shaken. Batman remains still, calculating. Nightwing stares at the dragon with disbelief.
Zil (quietly):
"They ate him. The humans… they killed and devoured a being of pure creation."
John (somber):
"Yes."
Tayler (in disbelief):
"That's insane. Why would anyone…?"
John:
"Power. Greed. Fear. Humans feared what they did not understand. They feared what they could not control. So they destroyed it."
Emma (softly):
"So… what happened to the other dragons? The ones that escaped?"
John slowly raises his massive head. His golden eyes flash with quiet fire.
John:
"They scattered. Vanished. Fled. But the Hierarchy dragon left behind something…"
Everyone leans forward.
John:
"A final gift. His son."
Brooklyn (shocked):
"He had a kid?"
Jen (softly):
"A… dragon born of creation?"
