Obi-Wan defeated Anakin and Palpatine saved Anakin. Padmé got onto Obi-Wan's ship and Padmé was fading in and out of consciousness. Obi-Wan got Padmé to medical droids and Padmé gave birth to Luke and Leia. Padmé died confessing that she thought that Anakin was not a lost cause and Padmé got a lovely funeral. However, Luke and Leia were the new hope on the horizon.
