Where does this lead?

Joe is just an acquaintance with her now, all that is left is to see if Ranger would be more than just her best friend. Will she let go of the possibility of Someday? Who knows? Oh, and she caught the eye of a certain crime Family... where does that lead? Not sure where this leads but come along with me on this journey! Will most likely be sporadic updates. Work in progress

11. Chapter 11

Ranger POV

Well that was an interesting turn.

Les says "yeah! Who would've thought the general that was up our ass pushing us past our exhaustion points and never have any face that's displayed other than the blank face could smile that big? Just ain't natural."

I looked at him "I meant how Babe is his FireBug."

Les blinked "that too"

Bobby chimed in "yeah, we've heard about his FireBug during our special forces training with fires starting everywhere she was but didn't connect it to it being Bombertbey we're talking about. But it does make sense since she does have explosions and fires happening around her since day one of us meeting her. The Porsche the first time then the funeral house then other incidents. Come to find out that was not because of her being a bounty hunter. Come to hear that she's got training in chemicals and explosives too just because of her propensity with fires. And not just any training, but training on base with the general as her backer and the lieutenant general right behind her as well. We can integrate her more if she's willing to go back to training a bit."

Tank said " Little girl has many experiences that we have not tapped into because she suppressed it years ago if the general is to be believed, which I have no doubt is true. If she's willing to relearn, then we may have a pseudo hidden weapon on our hand. She'd be a great addition to us in the field as opposed to us having to rescue her, maybe she can have our backs and us having more range to partner her with the men. Build trust exercises."

I replied after a moment of silence. "All good points which will be taken under advisement and discussed further later.

For now, we have the debrief of what the general came to us for.

For a recap and summary. Cocaine is being distributed from Cuba and a little of weapons and human trafficking as well. It's being ordered by the Lorenzo Family from New York. Word is that the Lorenzo Family is getting more hungry and want to cut in on the Jersey front. Which we know is territory of Ramos for Arms and the Grizzoli Family for drugs and human trafficking.

The order from the General is that we do surveillance on the ports and the likely routes these drugs are coming into our Jersey waters and ports. Monitor new players in the Jersey front and the General has made Rangeman as the base. He has another place to stay and do his business but his base of operations will be at Rangeman since he's contracted us to do the surveillance.

Disregarding the fact that he's Babe's godfather, he's the general that trained us in special forces or some similar capacity. Even if he did not, he has rank over us and some of us are still under contract so regardless we help him."

All the men nodded.
