Emperor (Male Seaking)

"Alright, so the timing could have been better, but I'm telling you, it's gonna be okay! It's all going to plan!"

-"Seaking sea?" The old fish shouted over the sound of Barrage attacks launched by the enemy Executor, powered up from the harsh light shining down from above.

"Yes! Well no, the enemy having grass type pokemon wasn't part of the plan, but the sun was! Trust me, this is a good thing." An egg-like bomb landed nearby as Jessie once more dove down into his gradually cracking fishbowl on wheels.

Sending out an Acid splash, Jessie returns fire on the Executor forcing it to retreat into the building it was hiding inside, only for two more to appear at it's side and continue to push back the two water pokemon.

-"Sea! Seaking Seaking king!"

"No, I know we're losing ground, that's part of it! We don't wanna be anywhere near that building when the plan goes off!"

-"Seeeea."

"Hey, no need to growl. I get that this is important to you, but we DO have a plan in mind and it IS working!"

Emperor stared incredulously at the young Tentacool, wondering when this so called 'plan' was going to let him get his revenge on those poachers. It seemed to him that they were getting farther and farther from his targets with every minute.

-"GYAAAAAAAA!" Aurum clashed with the enemy Tyranitar, head on! His serpentine body coiled round the green giant, a blue firey blast charging up in his maw.

-"RAAAAAAAR!" Tyranitar countered by throwing the beast to the ground and unleashing piercing dark energy from his own toothy grin. The attacks collided, spewing into the nearby battles. Allies and enemies both recoiled from the clashing of these two and were forced to flee from their combined powers.

The earth shook as Tyranitar slammed down with a hail of earthen bullets, battering Aurum who screeched with all the rage he could muster! It's tail came round from the other side, pounding Tyranitar's side with a wave and soaking the both of them!

But the water soaking it's stony hide quickly evaporated in the sunlight, ever present and further weakening the already tired Gyrados.
Gripping his tail between it's teeth, the monster threw Aurum to one side and charged up with an icy fist, crashing into the serpent's midsection! But before he could cry out again, a second punch landed square on his jaw, and another, and another! One after another, Tyranitar battered the weary dragon, drawing out it's strength with each and every attack, chilling his body and sapping his will to fight.

He countered with a last dich effort, a final Dragon rage which poured over the great beast, turning his plate armor a hot, glowing orange!

And yet, the monster did not fall, but rose to his feet as the flames faded and his color returned to it's usual green hew. And Aurum knew that the battle was lost.

-"Sea-"

"Now just hold on, Emperor."

-"Sea-"

"Hold, hold on now. Let's not do anything hasty."

-"SEA-"

"Wait wait waiT WAIT!"

-"SEAKING!" Waiting not a single moment longer, the furious old pokemon leapt from cover, dashing over to the battlefield while riding on a Surf! Attacks came from all angles, needling Emperor, hoping to hook this fish in a deadly snare. But Emperor was quick, a swift flick of the tail angled his trajectory enough to dodge a Pin missile. A twitch of the horn deflects an Icicle spear just enough to dodge below it's arcing path.

Gaining momentum, he unleashes his signature move, Waterfall! Leaping high above the fighting and diving down directly through a skylight, Emperor beheld a vast number of troops, far too many to combat directly.

But revenge, sweet revenge, would be his... Or so he thought.

A spinning tornado rushed down the old man the instant he fell, a series of wounds appeared on his body in moments, each one breaking a different bone. Coming to a stop, the living twister spun midair and landed on three limbs. A Hitmontop, and a high level one at that, stood before him.

Behind it was a sneering woman in red, not too dissimilar from the lady he had glanced just briefly at the party down in Cherrygrove just days earlier. Jessie's mother.

-"Oh joy, one of them got through. Can you idiots not do anything right? I TOLD you time and time again, I do NOT want a single one of those beastly pokemon to be brought to me before it has been properly packaged and stripped of any FILTHY bits that might stain my good dress." She spoke with a mix of haughty attitude and distain deeper than any Olympic swimming pool, and containing twice as much chlorine, irritating to the ears and deceptively poisonous.

-"I do so hate to dirty my own hands. My dear, would you kindly bring me that horn and dispose of that bit of filth it's attached to?"

-"Montop." The pokemon gave a practiced bow to the venomous woman and, with the grace and speed of a butler that has seen to a family for decades, proceeded to 'deal with' Emperor as though it were simply performing a small chore.

Outside, the sunlight had reached it's peak. The enemy's pokemon had formed a wide circle around the enemy base and had all but entirely cleared the opposing police and rangers from the area. Only Jessie stood close to the center, looking not at the pokemon quickly encroaching on him, but at the building his friend had just foolishly rushed into.

Without a word, he condensed water inside his body with Scald and let it all out in one huge burst, jetting himself high into the air and following after his friend.

A moment later, the Sunflora gathered at both of the adjacent buildings finished charging up their moves.

-"Okay, everyone do it now! Growth!"

-"Flora flora! :D "

Each of them concentrated their solar power and focused it into thin, red beams which shot down the tunnels connecting those houses. Striking, not to damage, but to empower! Waiting down there were a pair of rangers, each holding a Sunkern in their hands.

Wiggling as the energy flowed over them, they gathered up every last drop and fired it along again, hitting yet more Sunkern waiting further down, creating a chain of energy flowing from one pokemon to the next.

They faced no opposition, the enemy had all been drawn outside by their confidence. What did they have to fear when the battle was already won? And who would care if a few rangers who did manage to get down there lost their battles with only a single, unevolved, WEAK pokemon were present? They were effectively prisoners, waiting around wounded and ripe for slaughter, not worth concerning themselves with once all of their actually useful pokemon were down for the count.

But as the Growth attacks reached their target, a singular Sunkern, the smallest and least likely to be noticed, a memory of a very brave Sunkern flashes through it's mind. The picture Jessie had drawn for them of a tiny pokemon, considered the weakest out of all others, standing up against huge odds.

-"Sunkern! :D "

A brilliant Solarbeam lit up the underground as a small section of the city collapsed in on itself.
