"Umm, Alex, the panel beside the fridge is blinking, and the word's urgent message is all over the place, " Kira called from the doorway to the kitchen.
Alex looked at her, his face showing confusion; standing, he sat Karen in the spot he just left and went to the kitchen to see what was happening.
Walking through the door he found the panel he used to set the food stocks flashing yellow and blue with an Urgent message from a name he couldn't read scrolling across the screen.
Stepping to the panel, he tapped it, causing the flashing to stop, and the icon of an envelope popped up in the center of the screen; tapping it to find out what was going on, he watched as words he didn't understand filled the screen then shifted around until they were in English.
'Dear Traveler
It has come to our attention that you have been to a reality under our charge, after careful consideration, we have deemed the changes you have introduced to said reality sufficient to offer a small compensation as our company was in the process of evaluating the level of difficulty for an agent to journey into the reality to aid the Avengers in the coming years, however, the changes are enough to allow the Avengers to prosper better than our previous estimates had shown even with the aid of our agents, the aforementioned compensation shall be forwarded to your vault in the Plane's Market,
Sincerely #$%*#$!@'
Alex read the notice then shrugged and swiped the message to a folder on the panel labeled as important documents.
"Well that is nice, apparently we fixed something in this reality and some company is paying for the work we did without even knowing, " he said as he turned to find Sam and Kira looking at him from the table each eating a sandwich.
Sam sat her sandwich down then looked at him confused, "What did we do ?"
"I don't know, but apparently, we fixed something they were going to have an agent fix," he answered with a shrug.
"What are they paying with?" Kira asked as she pushed her empty plate away only for it to disappear with a pop.
"Will you get my pony there?" Karen asked while looking at Alex with her eyes growing wide, but it lost some effect as she had peanut butter and jelly smeared around her mouth.
Alex looked to Sam, who shrugged, "We'll see about that later, honey; we will need a home there first, " he finally answered.
"Yay," Karen chirped, then jumped across the table and hugged him, smearing the PBnJ on his chest, much to the amusement of the two women.
Alex sighed as he patted her back; after a few seconds, she let him go and went back to her sandwiches, leaving him to look down at the mess on his shirt that disappeared with a snap from Misty, who was fixing another plate of sandwiches for him.
"Thanks, and please, just a smear of mayo and mustard for me, " he told the elf, who nodded.
He sat and waited for the food, "I'm thinking about what to do. Next; there are several places we can go to get the Alteran samples before we go to the one we will make a home."
Sam looked at him confused, "What are you thinking?"
"Well I am thinking we first stop at a Stargate reality where the Goaúld has taken over the Earth I know of one where they never left but didn't find the outpost, I want to go there and get the scans of the tech and the woman out of the ice and then take her to that ship between galaxies, we can help fix their hyperdrive then send them to the Asgard."
Kira chewed a bite of her sandwich and then spoke, "Why? We could help free the people of Earth and then work on the other planets."
Alex shook his head, "No the reality I am thinking about is almost completely claimed by the Goaúld and only the Nox and Tollan are anywhere near advanced enough to fight them off but the Nox stay hidden and the Tollan are outside the gate network after a global disaster forced them to abandon their home world."
"Why do it like that instead of just going to the one we want and doing it there?" Sam asked.
"Well, I thought it over and we would have to leave the house to get the tech and other samples, I was thinking that we could just go to Earth and do what I said then we will go to the one we'll make our home in the reality cluster," he told them taking a bite of his sandwich to find it to be a roast beef and ham combo.
Sam nodded, " You also don't want to go to a reality where you would want to stay long-term, " she said after a few seconds of thought.
"Yeah, " he sighed, "I would like to help them but that's just not possible because then we would be going from reality to reality for a very long time, and in the end never get much done because there are an infinite number of realities that we could just never get to," he then looked to nowhere, "I've been reading some stories about people who have tried to help everywhere they went and after a few hundred years they ended up becoming tyrants, so no we won't be there for long nor will we do much, we just can't afford to fall that way no matter how much we want to help."
Sam leaned over to hug him from the side, "Okay, we'll do this, then go find a Stargate reality we can help and live in from time to time, " she whispered, laying her head on his shoulder.
Alex nodded and then turned to lay a kiss on her forehead, we'll sleep tonight then get going in the morning," he told them then looked at Kira "We'll spend a few weeks in the world we'll pick as home then go back to your home reality to see how things are going and how everyone is doing." he told her with a soft smile.
Kira nodded and then focused on the meal for a few minutes. They ate in silence when she finished her last sandwich, "I'll take the pipsqueak for a bath," she told them, pointing to Karen, who, while not overly messy, still had PBnJ all around her mouth.
Sam laughed, "You may as well join her in the tub; she loves to play," she told the younger woman, who picked up Karen and headed to the bathroom, she then turned to Alex and smiled, "Come on we can get a shower," she told him her eyes and smile offering more than just help with his back.
Just after they left the house Colson's radio crackled after replacing the earpiece then he heard the voice of Nicholas Fury bark out orders to find him, "This is Colson," he gave his confirmation codes then listened to Fury, "Sir I need to speak with you one on one with a guest,"
Loki was looking around the room they were now in when Peper Potts and Tony Stark joined them and waited as Colson held up a finger, " Well, hello there," Tony said with a flirtatious wink, which earned a snort from Loki and a groan of exasperation from Pepper.
"Greetings," Loki said to Pepper ignoring Tony's attempt to flirt.
"Hello, I'm Pepper Potts, and this is Tony Stark," Pepper introduced them, then looked at Colson, "Should we come back later?" she asked, noticing that Colson was not fully paying attention to them.
"I am Loki, and I am unsure," Loki said while looking at Colson, who was now frowning.
"That's a funny name to give a female agent," Tony said while looking her over.
"I am no agent, I am a liaison between my people and his group," Loki said while looking at Tony with disinterest in her eyes.
"Tony behave, " Pepper hissed out just as Colson dropped his hand from his earpiece.
"Mister Stark Miss Potts, I'll have to reschedule our meeting; my boss just ordered my return to his office; I'll schedule it with JARVIS," Colson told them, then looked directly at Tony, "We may have a contract offer for your company in the future."
"I'll make sure he makes it to the meeting, " Pepper assured him before leading Tony away with a tight grip on his arm.
Colson turned to face Loki, "Fury will be waiting for us," he told her, then turned to leave the building, and Loki followed.
They got into a sedan. When it took off, Loki was watching the city going by, "Your people have come a long way in the last few hundred years from my last visit to this world," she told him as she turned to face him.
"Yes, we have, although we have not in some ways. We still war over resources and religion, but for the most part, we strive to be at peace, " Colson replied with a nod.
After that, they sat in silence, until the car entered a parking garage, Colson got out first and then helped Loki out each holding a briefcase, Colson led her to an elevator, "We'll be going through a few security checks, please don't worry and if you have any weapons on your person hand them over, they'll be returned once we are finished with the meeting," he warned her as the doors closed with only the two of them in the elevator compartment.
"I am unarmed; these garments are not suited for concealing weapons," she told him, looking down at the tight-fitting jeans and top she wore.
"You would be surprised at some of the people I know that can hide weapons wearing less than that, " he replied, remembering one time he had to retrieve Romanov from a beach and that she had somehow concealed a pistol and daggers in a two-piece bikini with only a thin wrap around her waist.
"Please turn off your Omni tool, any communication out of the room we are going to will trigger a response team to take us down, although I doubt it will hurt you all that much I do not want to wake up tied to a chair," he told her as he turned off his own Omni tool.
The ride took a few minutes until they reached the floor for the meeting, once they were out of the elevator Colson walked to a table, putting the briefcase on the table he opened it and then began removing his radio and weapons, Loki stepped to his side and did the same with the briefcase she carried, she also removed her Omni tool and lay it beside the case receiving an approving nod from Colson.
When Colson finished disarming, he stepped around the table to a man who patted him down and then waved a metal detecting wand over him; Loki was watching this until a woman stepped forward.
"Please lift your arms; this shouldn't take long," the woman said, then waited for Loki to do as requested; the pat down was quick, and then the wand was passed over her.
"Thank you, do you have any objections to us scanning the briefcase you have with you?" the woman asked.
"You should ask Philip Colson, I only carried the case for him," Loki told her while gesturing to the man.
"Ah, thank you," the woman said, then went over to speak to Colson, who shook his head and then ushered all but the woman from the room.
When the room was clear out, Colson and the woman stepped to each side of the door and placed their hands on almost invisible panels that scanned their palms; a few seconds later, a static hiss filled the room, and then it went silent.
"Report, " a voice barked out from a corner of the room that was covered in shadows.
Colson told the two what he knew, "And this Alex just gave you these things, what of the cube?"
"It is now in the center of a black hole," Loki answered; after speaking, all eyes fell on her, and the questioning took a few hours.
Alex woke the next morning with his arms around Sam, so used to Karen barging in and jumping on him he was shocked to wake on his own.
Slowly, Sam woke, snuggling close to him, reminding him of the night they spent together; he started kissing her neck and shoulder and was working his way to her breast when the door was flung open to admit a hyper five-year-old who ran and jumped on them.
"Morning, Mommy and Daddy," she sang out just as she landed on them; Alex was barely able to keep the covers on them.
"Morning, sweetie, you're awake early, aren't you?" Sam asked while sitting up and hugging the child.
"Sooner we go, the sooner I get my pony, " Karen chirped, bouncing a little and then looking at Alex, "Get up, Daddy. We need to go find a home for my pony."
Alex looked from Karen to Sam, "Get to the bathroom and do your thing so I can get dressed, " he told them then waited for them to get out of bed to get changed, hearing a gasp from the door he turned to find Kira there and staring at him wide-eyed focused on his muscled chest and abs.
Focusing, he had his suit to form a pair of jeans and a tee shirt, "Looking for Karen?" he asked once she looked away with a blush.
"Yeah, she slept in my bed last night. She jumped out of bed and ran off, and I followed her voice this way; I thought you would still be under the covers," she said in a small voice.
Alex sighed, "It's fine. She is with Sam in the bathroom," he said, pointing to the door leading to the bathroom.
Nodding, Kira quickly moved to the bathroom; once she was through the door, Alex shook his head and went to the kitchen, "What's on the menu this morning?" he asked once in the dining room.
"All American breakfast, bacon, eggs, sausage toast, and your choice of pancakes or waffles, " Misty answered, placing a pitcher of orange juice on the table.
Alex nodded and then sat in his seat and began to fill his plate with a bit of everything, then picked two waffles, then did the same for Karen's plate, leaving off the choice of waffles.
He had just sat down and begun to eat when the others came in; Kira was still blushing but not as deeply as before; Sam put Karen in her seat and then filled her plate as Karen reached for the pancakes, which Sam put on Karen's plate.
Kira filled her plate then, and they all ate Sam had to add eggs to Karen's plate twice before she was satisfied and full.
When they finished eating they moved to the living room to sit and let breakfast settle, " We'll be stopping by the Goaúld controlled earth and see how things are if it an earth where the Goaúld never left we'll strip the outpost and then leave to search for the ship between galaxies, we will see if we can help them with their hyperdrive and send them to the Asgard," Alex said while watching the window that was still showing the farmhouse belonging to Clint Barton.
"You said that last night but how are we going to help them?" Sam asked.
"Well, the spaceport has a repair function, so we won't have to do the work ourselves. We'll have to use our ship to get their attention once we find them, but that shouldn't be much trouble," Alex said while watching the animals of the farm milling around their pins.
"You have a ship?" Kira asked after thinking over his stated plans.
Alex nodded, "Yeah, she's down in the spaceport we bought the other day. She was still working on adapting to some new systems, but she should be ready to fly now."
Alex then held out an Omni tool to Kira and Karen while Sam saw this and made one for herself as Alex made another for himself, the adults set up their then Sam helped Karen fix hers.
Once done with that, Sam spoke up, "Let's go find out how she is doing, then go to Earth and raid a frozen outpost, " she said, getting up.
Alex nodded then followed her in standing with Karen on her hip, Kira soon followed them as they went to the workshop and then to the large door that had been added when the spaceport was placed, on the walls of either side of the door were windows that allowed a view of the spaceport and its five empty births for ships, the sixth was occupied by the bioship in its resting state.
Alex opened the door to find an airlock to keep the house from decompressing if the shield went down; he knew this was just for aesthetics as he had opened the door to open space before.
As he reached for the second door, the door to the house closed with a hiss; opening the door, he led them to the ship.
"Hello, captain and Sam, I like this new place; it feels comfortable and feeds me well; I have finished integrating the Javelin systems," the ship said while they approached.
"That's good to hear, we will be taking you out for a flight soon and wanted to know if you were able to move or needed some time to finish settling your systems," Alex told the ship.
"The ship can speak?" Kira asked after she got over her shock.
"Yes, I can speak. I can also connect with you mentally if needed, but my captain said it was dangerous,s, but I will not do that unless my vocal systems are damaged," the ship answered for Alex.
Sam smiled then stepped forward, "Can you take flight mode and let us on board?" she asked.
"Yes I can," the ship answered then it shifted to her flight mode It was a mixture of how Megan's ship originally looked with a few additions from the Javelin like a sharpened bow and port and starboard wings extending from the sides, a ramp seemed to flow from just under the bow to allow them entry to the ship.
Alex nodded and then led them aboard; the inside the ship remained as the one from the young justice show, with the caption chair in the center with three chairs growing from the floor for the others to sit at a few of the systems control panels and monitors.
Alex took the captions chair while Sam took a seat after putting Karen in a seat beside the station she chose to take, "Have navigation and communications routed to this station, " she said while sitting.
"Alright," the ship replied; after a few seconds, the station shifted to have a readout and a new screen with a few lines that registered their Omni tools.
"I'll take defense and life support here," Kira said from her seat.
Alex looked at the two, then shrugged, "I'll take weapons, and Karen can watch the main viewscreen and make cute comments," he said while watching his chair grow a few panels that would let him control the few weapons the ship had.
"Yay." Karen chirped as she looked at the screen that was showing the spaceport right now.
"Alright, seal all hatches, Sam prep launch routines," Alex ordered; then the ship lifted from the floor of the spaceport and turned to face the bay doors; reaching out mentally, he focused on finding a Stargate reality where the Goaúld still occupied the Earth.
"The spaceport is decompressing ten seconds until the spaceport is in a vacuum," Sam announced as she read something from her station.
"All hatches are holding and structural integrity is at a hundred percent," Kira read from her panel that had the readouts for shields.
"The big doors are flashing yellow and blue," Karen chirped from her seat as she watched the warning lights indicate that the doors would be opening soon.
Alex smiled as he heard Karen following Sam and Kira, announcing the status of and around the ship, "Vacuum complete; we're ready to take her out when you are." Sam told them
Alex nodded, then mentally opened the doors to the reality he had chosen; the doors split top and bottom, slowly opening until they were open enough for the ship to pass.
"Alright, take us out; we should come out between Jupiter and the earth, but just in case, activate the cloak," Alex told them while grinning.
"Cloack is active, " Kira called out as the ship slowly neared the bay doors.
"Once through, scan the solar system to see if there are any ships around," he said while readying the weapons in case they were needed.
As the ship passed through the door, Jupiter came into view, its large red storm filling the view screen, "I'm not seeing anything so far, but with the planet so close, we can't detect anything in Earth's direction," Sam said, keeping her eyes on her station.
"We can't stay here long; while the shields are holding up well, the magnetic fields are going to affect the biological portions of the ship," Kira read from her panel.
"Alright let's get going, Sam set course for Earth keep us at cruising speed, if there is anything out there that can detect higher speeds we'll be moving at a speed that will seem like we are just a small asteroid that broke away from Jupiter's gravity field," he ordered while also looking for a mapping function to see the stars to see if they could calculate what year they had come to.
"Course set, but if we stay at cruising speed it will take a week or more to reach Earth, " Sam said as the ship began to move away from Jupiter.
"Big rocks are in front of us, and some of them are spitting stuff up in the air, " Karen said while they were nearing one of the many moons of the gas giant.
Alex nodded then smiled as Karen gave her report of what she was seeing, "That's fine we're just going to need to get a scan to see if there are any Goaúld ships in orbit, once we get that information, and if it's clear we'll speed up, Karen remember to watch for pretty lights for me okay."
"Okay Daddy," Karen sang out without looking away from the screen.
"So far, I'm not seeing anything in orbit, but the scans are being hampered by the highly charged electromagnet field of Jupiter," Sam reported, then gasped, " Stellar charting is indicating that we are five thousand years before the SGC is supposed to be formed."
Alex nodded, "Yeah, I was going to look for an occupied twentieth century but then thought, why go there when we could just arrive around the time the humans kicked Ra off the planet," he told them as he confirmed that the Stellar map was accurate.
Sam smiled then tilted her head, "If we are in the past we should only get the scans of the tech and the Alteran samples and just leave, if we help that ship at this time they could come here after we leave, and then who's to say they won't take over the Earth and then screw something up and somehow the Goaúld get more of their tech and it'll be in better shape and more advanced than what they've already reverse engendered?" she asked after running a few scenarios through.
Alex shrugged, "Yeah, I thought about that. We'll just go to the derelict ship with the crew in stasis and get the samples from them."
"We're beyond the magnetic field now, the shields are dropping down to standard levels for traveling in space, " Kira called out as they moved closer to the Earth.
"Daddy little blue dot spotted," Karen said as Earth came into view but was just barely a blue dot on the edge of the screen.
As they moved closer the dot grew brighter and then a little bigger, "Alright I'm not picking up anything in orbit but that's not too so there are no ships on the other side of the planet, we should be able to pick up the speed to get there sooner without being seen," Sam said after a few minutes after leaving the gravity and magnetic fields of Jupiter.
"Alright let's get going, use the wormhole drive to get us in orbit above the outpost, and keep the cloak running if anyone notices it their scans should show up as a solar burst or something similar to that," he said while focusing on the view in front of him.
"Right away, jump in three two one," Sam counted down, then the ship lurched into a small window in space and came out of it just outside the atmosphere of the Earth over the south pole; the window closed quickly, but it wake sent ripples along the Aurora australis.
"Pretty green light," Karen chirped her eyes growing wide as she watched the southern lights.
"We'll need to get closer to the ice sheet to get a better scan for the outpost, the ice and snow are scattering the low-level scan I am using to keep us from being detected by the Goaúld," Sam said from her seat while patting Karen for her reporting the changes she saw on the screen.
Alex nodded, " That's fine I wanted to land the ship anyway so that we can have a place to go aside from the house as we worked."
"Are we going to help the woman in the ice?" Kira asked after adjusting the shields for atmospheric entry.
"Yeah we'll still get her out of the ice, finding her and her eventual death didn't make sense to me, we'll take her to that planet with the ascended who is being punished for helping her people from the Wraith," Alex told them as he watched the ship slowly descending into the atmosphere to avoid the usual firey plasma indicative with high-speed entry to a planet.
"Anything we need to know about her?" Kira asked as she scanned the readout on their reentry.
Alex nodded, "She has a virus that we'll have to cure her of and I think we should keep her in stasis for a while before we leave the Galaxy."
"We are through the outer atmosphere and entering the stratosphere; at this speed, five minutes until landing," Sam called out.
"Keep it at this speed we're not in a rush here," Alex reminded her.
As the ship neared the ice they watched the screens until the ship was a hundred feet above the ground, "Slowing decent, seventy-five feet, fifty feet, thirty feet, twenty, lowering landing struts, fifteen feet and we are on the ground," Sam reported as the ship touched down and shuddered as some of the ice gave out under the weight of the ship.
Alex nodded, then stood from his chair, "Alright, let's get this started, "he said while rubbing his hands together.
"Let's see here: the outpost is about fifty feet below the ice. There are a few open areas; while the glacial drift is slowly moving the Stargate and DhD, as well as the woman, away from the outer sections, the outpost is structurally sound. " Sam announced.
"Okay, try a deep scan on the woman; I want to know if we'll need to quarantine her while she is being cured of the virus."
Sam nodded then turned back to her screen to get a better read on the woman," Give me a few minutes. "
"We are stable for now but I don't know how long the ice will hold up under the ship," Kira read out from her post.
"Funny birds are out there, they're bunched up in a big group," Karen chirped as she somehow figured out how to change the view on the main monitor and was now showing a colony of penguins several dozen miles away from where they had landed.
"Set the ship to hover. That'll save it from possible collapse in the ice, and those are penguins, sweetie," Alex told them as he watched the penguins huddling, "They may be waiting for their eggs to hatch or keeping their chicks warm while their mates are out gathering food." he explained.
"We'll need to quarantine her, the virus she has is also in a stasis-like state, if we want to cure her we'll need to slowly thaw her out and draw off the water into a container that we can destroy it later," Sam reported after she read the details from the newest scans.
"Right, we can build a small shield generator to contain her in an antigravity field to keep the water from escaping into the environment, once the ice has been removed from around her we'll move her to a smaller shield and then to the medbay in the spaceport to finish up with the cure, " he said while focusing on the coordinates where the woman was buried in the ice, "Gather up to a hundred and fifty feet all around her to ensure that we get any contamination."
Sam nodded then turned away from her station, " I'll need the replicator in the house to get that done," she said before kissing his cheek before opening the door and entering the house to build what she would need.
"Kira, you and Karen stay on the ship while I go get the scans I want; if the sensors pick up anything, not animal life coming this way, give a call out, and I'll be listening," he said, pointing to his ear indicating he would be using his Kryptonian powers.
Kira nodded while Karen just watched the penguins huddling, walking to the back of the bridge. He watched as a hole opened for him to drop down to the ice, letting gravity do its job. He landed on the ice, causing a small creature.
Using his x-ray vision he looked down into the ice, the outpost came into view, it was snowflake shaped just like Atlantis only smaller in scale, it also had a dozen levels deeper into the Earth, he found the Stargate and DhD had been pushed a few dozen feet from the platform anchored to the ground with deep pylons.
Focusing he activated his heat vision into a narrow beam, he cut out a path in the ice to take him to the Stargate and DhD, slowly he swept over the Stargate and DhD freeing them from the ice and clearing the platform, with a grin he stopped the heat vision only to frown and look down at the knee deep water he now stood in, sighing he floated out of the water and to the gate.
Laying his hand on the gate he took a scan and filed it away into another mental folder for the Stargate reality technology what shocked him was that his scan took several minutes to finish, not because of the complexity of the gate but of it and the DhD were still physically connected to the outpost for power supply even though the DhD had a micro fusion reactor it was still connected to the outpost so the Patentia could supply the energy needed to dial Atlantis in the Pegasus galaxy.
Puddle jumpers, drones, and other weapons as well as hundreds of other devices filled his mental folder, so much so that he would need to meditate on it all and organize everything but he did move the Patentia to the top of his list of things to try and build with his powers along with a computer.
"You are not supposed to be here," came a smooth female voice from behind him.
Sighing he finished his scans and then turned to face the partially glowing woman, "I've been hearing that a lot lately, but I guess it's also going to be something I'll hear again in the future, so what am I doing that's not to you and your kinds liking?" he asked while looking the woman over and realizing that it was Oma DeSala.
"So far, you and your crew have done nothing the council has deemed troublesome and wish to inquire about your plans to gauge whether we intervene," Oma told him while looking around the cleared-out ice cavern.
Alex nodded then smiled, "We're going to get that woman out of the ice cure her, and then take her to the home of Chaya Sar to live out her life or ascend if she wishes then go to Atlantis and replace the Patentia with fully charged Patentia as well as ensuring there are three as needed instead of just the one it currently has," he told her while pointing to the area where the woman was buried in the ice.
Oma tilted her head as if listening to something, and he guessed that she was listening to the other ascended, "Do you intend to do anything other than your stated goals?" she asked after a few minutes.
Alex shook his head, "No we were going to retrieve the Tria and fix their hyperdrive but after some discussion we decided that we should not do that because they would most likely come here, at this time there are not enough advanced civilizations for them to interact with, also if they came to Earth now they would fight with the Goaúld and lose giving the Goaúld more advanced technology that could cause the Goaúld to spread out more or find the Nox or be a threat to the Asgard," he told her and waited for her to finish communing with the others.
"Very well we will not interfere with your actions, neither will we stop you from taking this child home to Chaya, we do ask that you not interact with the Nox or Asgard if at all possible," she told him just as Sam opened a door beside him and stepped through with a small case a little bigger than a shoe box in her hands.
"We didn't intend to interact with anyone aside from Chaya Sar to request her giving this woman sanctuary," he said while pointing to the area where Sam would need to set the quarantine shield.
Sam looked at Oma DeSala in interest, "I'm curious about something, and I'll understand if you can't or don't want to answer," she said while walking to the wall of ice and setting the box down and pressing a few buttons then turned back to Oma.
"I'll try and thank you for understanding that I may not be able to answer," Oma replied with a soft smile.
"Thank you. What I wish to know is, have you come across a Goaúld named Anubus?" Sam asked, turning back to watch the device scan the ice. Then, a golden light shot out and into the ice in a tight beam.
"No we are aware of him as a minor system lord, but he is fighting with Yu for dominance over a small solar system and is losing," Oma answered while watching the beam slowly opening a human-sized hole in the ice while the edges of the beam were emitting pulsing waves into the ice for over a two hundred feet radius.
Sam nodded, then smiled as she read the panel on the device, "Good, I'm going to give you a warning about him, and what you choose to do with it is up to you." she said, looking to Oma.
When Oma nodded Sam spoke again, "When he loses his fight with Yu he'll come seeking you to help him ascend, do not believe his claims of renouncing his genetic memories and becoming peaceful, he will be patient with your teachings and take centuries to make you feel that he has earned ascension, and once he does ascend you'll see and feel his true intentions and you'll be punished for helping him to ascend, the others will only send him halfway back as part of that punishment where he will eventually gain some of the things left by your people when they left for Pegasus to slowly take over system after system, that's all I can say because I don't know much more than that," she told the ascended woman who looked to be absorbing this information.
"I'll consult with the council over this matter; this information can change the future some of our people have seen when ascending," Oma told them after a few seconds of thought.
"Anubus is a necessary evil, his presence and actions will be what helps the future people of this galaxy fight off the 'Other's' when someone finds a piece of technology that leads them here," Alex said while watching as the body of the woman slowly floated out of the tunnel in a golden shell produced by the device.
Sam turned to look at him, shocked at his words, "But he'll get too much power, and thousands will die when he starts moving against the system lords," she stated, her shock causing her voice to waver.
Alex nodded, then smiled sadly, "And if the 'Others' come here and they don't have to fight him, they'll not be ready or able to counter the powers they give their followers," he told her, trying to remind her of the powers the Ori gave their prior's.
Shoulders slumping Sam nodded, " I still don't like it," she said before turning back to the device and pressing a few buttons on it before lifting it and walking back to Alex the body of the woman floating behind her, "The computer in the medical room had the cure for the virus as long as it wasn't in the later stages, this, " she hefted the device, "was saturating the ice with a form of ultraviolet light to kill off the virus outside of a body, we'll need to take her to the med bed to cure her fully."
Alex nodded and then looked over to Oma," Please contact Chaya Sar to let her know we'll be coming to her world. We'll stay in orbit if she wishes us to, and from there, she can take custody of this woman."
Oma nodded, "She will be expecting you," she said before tilting her head again, "The council agrees with you about Anubus after reviewing their visions of the future I've been tasked with following the process of helping him ascend then I'll be 'punished,' for helping him once the people of this galaxy reach the right moment the council will help destroy him while I will appear to trap him in eternal battle while in truth I shall be following the ship Destiny and awaiting the people from earth to board it, the council feels that we may find long lost friends if I do this," she told them once the council finished conveying it's decision.
Alex smiled at that, "That's good to hear; we will be heading to Pegasus soon. It's going to be a quick trip, really; the only thing that may keep us from leaving any sooner than at least two days is how long our medical unit can cure her."
"As I said before we will not interfere so long as you do not deviate from what you told me earlier," Oma replied with a soft smile.
'Alex I'm detecting a small ship approaching our location, it'll be within visual range in three hours, ' Kira's voice echoed down the tunnel while she was still sitting at the station she chose.
Alex and Sam listened then looked at the tunnel, "Sam get her to medical I'll have to fill in the opening I cut out to get here , if Ra finds this place he will fight harder to keep this planet." Alex said while watching Oma turn into her energy form and fly away.
Sam nodded then ran into the house followed by the woman in the shell the door closing just after the woman was through, Alex then raced around at high speed causing a vortex to form picking up a lot of the water, he then flew up the tunnel keeping the vortex holding the water with him.
Once on the surface he turned to face the hole and took a deep breath then blowing out extremely cold air that froze the water as it gushed out of the tunnel, he then raced to the ship and through the access that opened up as he neared.
"Take off and keep the cloak running, fly into the clouds to confuse and sensors then turn out over the water, take us on an intersept course of the approaching ship, I want to see who it is, if i is a death glider we'll buzz them and draw them away from this area and if it's someone else we'll observe them, don't contact them either way. " he barked out as he took his seat and watched as the ship followed his orders.
