Alex and Sam stood with Thor at the Asgard-built Stargate on Othala; they had spoken with the council for nearly two hours as some of their scientists studied the Karon emitter device.

"Our scientists have verified that your device functions as you described the replicators will break to their base components, with the bulk of their numbers on planets they are strip-mining for raw materials, "Thor told them as Sam set up the weapon.

"We hope to get all of them if the subspace map that the council showed us on the network is correct, we'll cover ninety-eight percent of the galaxy, and only the center of the galaxy near the supermassive black hole would not be affected by the wave but with so many smaller black holes and erratic star movements nothing can survive the gravitational riptides," Sam said as she finished setting up.

"We will also need to go to the Milky Way galaxy to trigger the device as well; we know one of the Asgard found the replicators there; we don't want them being woken up there as well," Alex says as he helps Sam align the focusing array.

"Our monitoring of that galaxy does not indicate any replicator activities," Freyer told them as she watched their work.

"Well, it's better to be safe than sorry, these things are leftover technology from when the Alterans fled the plague, there could be more of these things hidden in labs that were left behind, that's how the Goa'uld were able to take control of so much of the galaxy, they found some leftover stuff and reverse-engineered it," Alex told Freyer once the focusing array was set.

"Once the replicators are destroyed and we find a cure for our genetic degradation we will be able to focus more on reigning in their attempts to spread beyond their current borders," another council member said while it continued to scan the device.

"What is this, what's its functions?" Carter asks as she runs over and tries to touch the emitter, only to get her hand slapped away by Sam.

"Don't touch anything you could throw off the settings," Sam snapped out at her counterpart who withdrew her hands both from the shock of them being swatted away and her voice coming from the woman working on the device.

O'Neill was about to call Carter back when the woman spoke, causing him to stop in his tracks when she spoke, "You got a sister you didn't tell us about?" he quipped, falling back on jokes when he didn't know what to do or say.

"N no sir, I only have a brother in California," she stuttered out as she looked at herself the only difference was her hair was past her shoulders.

The Asgard stood stoically looking between the two women their confusion hidden by their lack of emotions, "A clone?" Thor asks.

"No multiversal traveler," Alex told them.

"Entropic cascade failure?" another Asgard asked.

"Not a concern for us; we have not used the mirrors to get here, so that won't affect us."

"And your reason for coming to this universe?" Carter asked.

"To save you two from dying and the Goa'uld from taking over the galaxy and then it falling to a group of extragalactic people who would eventually enslave this galactic cluster," Sam said as she stood away from the emitter once she was sure everything was ready.

"Uh thanks," O'Neill said when he realized that they could have died.

"You're welcome," Alex replied with a smile, "What were you two doing anyway? You two came flying out of the event horizon like you were shot out of a cannon?"

"Nothing. We had just stepped through the Stargate when someone started firing on us; Daniel dialed out to our base, and he and Teal'c went through; we were right behind them, and the next thing we knew, we were waking up in your ship, wearing these new digs," O'Neill said plucking at the chest of the armor.

"Emergency wormhole override; whatever weapons were being fired at you most likely overloaded the gate and caused the wormhole to jump to another gate near the one you dialed out to, bleeding off the excess power," Sam told them, already knowing what happened.

"So any chance of getting a ride home?"

"Yeah, once we are done here and then doing the same in the Milky Way galaxy," Alex told them as Sam started up the emitter the gate opened with a golden event horizon instead of the normal water-like pool.

"Alright, here goes. Have the scouts reported ready?" Sam asked, receiving nods from the Asgard council.

Smiling Sam pressed the buttons and then stepped back as the emitter shot a glowing green ray that barely fit through the gate, oddly the wormhole could be seen glowing green as it led away from the planet, if one could view the entire galaxy they would see the entire gate system spreading the green light, then suddenly the light burst blindingly covering almost every inch of the galaxy, everywhere the light touched small robotic spiders began falling apart followed by some ships, a large portion of the ships were on uninhabitable planets, all of this took just a few minutes before the device shut down followed by the gate.

"Scouts and probes are reporting that the replicators have stopped functioning and are falling apart and breaking down to their base materials," Thor reported after five minutes.

Karen came flying in and landed next to Alex, followed by Kira, "Daddy, did you see the pretty light? It went flying up and then grew bright."

"Yeah, I saw it; Mommy helped our new friends with something. Did you and Kira have fun exploring?"

"Yeah, we flew around the planet. The buildings are nice, but the wild places they have are really beautiful. Did you know they only have a few cities and left the rest of the world to grow like it wants?"

Alex smiled, "Yeah, although it's hard to tell the Asgard do respect nature and only use small parts of a planet, it's a holdover from dealing with the Nox."

"You guys know the Nox?" O'Neill asked.

"We know of them but haven't personally met with them yet," Alex replied.

"You have personal flight technology? that would help in our fight with the Goa'uld or our exploration of other planets," Carter asked.

"Yeah, we'll go with that, and no, we won't be sharing it; you guys have barely begun to understand what you've taken from the ruins of the fallen people of your galaxy," Sam told her as they joined the others.

O'Neill didn't look happy when he heard that, "We have been fighting the goa'uld while everyone else hides in their worlds."

"Yeah and for the last few thousand years there has been a sort of peace where the goa'uld only fought amongst themselves after you guys killed Ra a war broke out over his territory and now that they have settled it out they are expanding, Ra kept them in line, without him they are trying to take worlds Ra was allowing to grow for their technology," Alex told them.

"Not to mention that every time you guys find a primitive world after driving off a Goa'uld they simply forget them, the Argos comes to mind, they were living peacefully, one hundred days of healthy living even after giving birth, given the knowledge to survive and care for themselves, now they don't have that nor did you people help fix it, no need to care for a child for more than a few nights." Sam pointed out and smirked as the two winced upon realizing what she said was true.

"What could we have done? Those people were being experimented on." O'Neill demanded.

"A few things come to mind; one was to leave it alone; Pelops had forgotten them or reprogrammed the device to have the nanites download the knowledge to care for themselves more and to stop artificially aging them after the hundred days."

"We couldn't just leave them to that life," Carter stated.

"Yes, you could have; for over a thousand years, they lived peacefully; you guys essentially abandoned children to the wilds," Alex stated a bit harshly.

The Asgard stood by, waiting for the final reports on the replicator's destruction, "Not to forget the hammer on Cimmeria; you broke the only defense the people had against the Goa'uld." Sam said while also looking over the readouts from over Thor's shoulder.

"The hammer was damaged?" Thor asked while it was asked in a monotone, There was an edge of anger in his question.

"Yeah, these idiots were told about that world by a friendly jaffa, and instead of leaving him on Earth after hearing about how the Goa'uld forbid travel to the planet they took him along, and when the hammer activated and transported O'Neill and the jaffa to the caves, they broke the door exit then just left thinking the Goa'uld wouldn't send jaffa through the gate now and then just to test the defenses, eventually one will report back to its masters that the planet is now easy pickings."

Alex's speech caused them to flench, "We couldn't leave our friend in that cave."

"No, but there are fail-safes in the hammer and cave to release accidental captures of Tok'ra agents, all one needs to do is have a human born on Cimmeria claim the jaffa as a friend," Thor announced while pulling the satellite over the planet, from its scanners he found that it was still free of Goa'uld so far, directing it to repair the hammer and cave exit he looked to O'Neill, "Do not return to Cimmeria with your jaffa."

"We didn't know that," Carter spoke up as she and Daniel were trying to get them back, but instead of asking Gairwyn if she knew how to help, they had her take them to Kendra, neither thinking that Gairwyn would know anything just because she was from a primitive culture where the former Goa'uld host should know more.

"Now you do; so far, those two are the only times I can think of you guys screwing things up other than going through it without markings giving away your planet of origin," Alex told them as he reached down to ruffle Karen's hair.

Hermiod spoke up after sharing her scans and recommended scanning frequencies with the council members to distribute to the fleet.

"I would like to request to join them in their travels for a time, I feel that we could learn much from studying the ship Athena could allow us to advance our fleet in ways that should a resurgence of the replicators happen we may be able to better defend ourselves with biological ships instead of purely mechanical ships."

"Would that hinder your travels? Be aware that Hermiod will need to return to Othala to transfer to a new cloned body," Freyer asked.

Alex shrugged, "That's not a problem; for a clone, our space station can power a stasis pod to hold one or two clones," he told them while wondering if he could do something out of their cloning troubles.

"Would it be possible for you to share the data you have on your cloning process?" Sam asked before he could.

"We will need to discuss the matter with the full council," Freyer told them before disappearing along with the rest of the council.

"Not big on the small talk are they?" O'Neill asked when the council teleported away.

"No, they are logical and literal-thinking people, they do not understand the need to sit around speaking on mundane matters like most races," Sam answered.

"Hermiod is it possible to dial the planet your people first encountered the replicators?"

"Yes, our Stargate is capable of dialing intergalactic. Are you proposing to target the planet with your device rather than the entire galaxy?"

"Yeah, Thor told us just before you joined us that your monitoring of the galaxy proved that there are no replicators in the galaxy beyond that planet, also I am thinking that we could disrupt other worlds that use nanites for beneficial purposes," Alex told them as he led karen over to the emitter followed by Sam and Kira.

"Understandable, we are aware of a planets people that use nanite implants to exchange their

knowledge through transplantation though the subject suffers neural degradation after the extraction process," Hermiod replied, her words startled Carter and O'Neill.

"Yeah, those people are an alright bunch, we may speak to some of your neurologists and nano technicians about studying that to see about working on a way to copy the knowledge to a system that will distribute it or fix the neural degradation," Alex said thoughtfully.

"That may be possible; once we confirm the destruction of the replicators as well as repairing or removing facilities, we will be focusing on remedying our cloning issues," Hermiod said, nodding.

While they had been talking, another Asgard dialed the planet. They had found the first replicator; Sam was adjusting the device to only broadcast to the solar system alone, and after two minutes, the emitter shut down.

"You will need to send a ship to ensure everything went well," Alex told them while Sam made sure that the emitter was completely shut down before asking the Asgard to have it transported to the landing pad where Athena was resting.

"We are monitoring the system via satellite, though you are correct. We will have a ship deployed to confirm," Thor told him, "In fact, I shall personally investigate," he said, preparing to transport away.

"Wait, we may need a ride to the galaxy, Athena; while a great ship is still young, I do not want to push her to make the trip back just yet, especially in the galactic void."

"Understandable, we would also test in steps to ensure ship safety during transit," Thor answered, "I shall have my ship ready for departure when you are finished."

"You can have the engineers study this; I can build another if needed," Sam told the Asgard, gesturing to the emitter that vanished along with the engineer leaving the hover cart.

O'Neill and Carter watched and listened, "How are we getting home? Our people are most likely looking for us," O'Neill spoke up when he noticed they were done with the stargate.

"Thor will get us back to the Milky Way then we'll take a ship from the planet to Earth," Alex answered while tapping a few buttons on his omnitool, sending a message to Thor's ship, "I need to see if Thor has an open hanger to hold the ship first though."

Before O'Neill could ask Alex disappeared in a flash of light, at the same time another Asgard appeared near Sam it held a silver tray out to her, "The council has agreed with your request for information on our cloning process, a cloning chamber has also been placed near your ship along with two clones in stasis for Hermiod's needs," it said as Sam took the crystal from the tray.

"Thank you, please inform the council that we shall study these to see if we can aid you all in fixing the problem," she told the Asgard before it was whisked away in teleporting lights.

Alex appeared on the bridge of the Biliskner near the command chair, "You requested to speak to me?"

Alex looked around the utilitarian bridge. As he did, he copied it into a mental folder for Asgard tech; he nearly collapsed when he found that he had also copied nearly all of their database.

"Ye-yeah, while we are taking O'Neill and Carter home I do not wish to endanger Athena, while for the most part, the humans of Earth are good people, some of their military will try to seize the ship we will take, I can get an expendable ship that I can stand to lose, it's just the method of how I will get the ship that I wish to keep from the two," he told Thor as he regained his composer.

"How will you obtain the ship?" Thor asked.

"I have the ability to create things, Sam has this skill as well, while we do not expect O'Neill or Carter to be trouble along with most of their people, some of the government they answer to will try to take it, this is the reason I do not want to take Athena to Earth yet, she could be hurt when we try to leave," Alex explained while also forming a copy of a railgun pistol and laying it on the command chair for Thor to inspect.

"Fascinating, but I must ask why you are displaying this ability to me?" Thor asked as he let his chair scan the pistol; while it was not as advanced as the ship Athena, he understood it was for display purposes only.

Alex smiled, "Simply, it's because you Asgard have the technology to do something similar, so you would not make demands of Sam and me. If the people of Earth knew of this, they would try to force us into intellectual servitude and or to make things for them."

Thor thought this over as he listened; while his people did have virtual construction devices that could convert energy to matter, for a living being to have such power intrigued him, "I will have to inform the council of this. I do not foresee it being a concern."

"That'll be fine just ensure they do not distribute this beyond those in the need to know, while I trust the Asgard, it is just safer for us to not spread it about until we are ready for others to know, though you may tell the Nox if you reconnect with them, they understand the need to keep things from the younger races," he told Thor while thinking it over.

"What are the dimensions of the craft you would be creating?"

"Eight point five meters wing tip to wing tip and fifteen meters from bow to stern, and eight meters tall when the landing struts are deployed."

"I believe that my cargo hold will be able to house such a ship, would it be agreeable to supply a ship for study?"

"Yeah, I can make one for you guys, though I must tell you that they have a wormhole drive as well as FTL engines that are not hyperdrive, it's more of a warping bubble that uses a gravimetric distortion to push the ship similar to waves in water pushing something ashore."

"We have studied the possibilities of a wormhole drive but our understanding of such devices is limited to the directed wormholes generated by the Stargates, we do understand the warp technology, but they do not reach the speeds we use to travel but are effective for in-system travel reducing energy requirements," Thor said after Alex finished explaining the ship's capabilities.

Thor then directed his command chair to hover and move through the ship; Alex followed him, looking over the ship as they moved.

"These ships come from a universe where there are multiple races inhabiting the Milky Way galaxy, some of those races make the Alterans look like toddlers, some technology was shared with lesser-aged races, and this model of the ship is known as a javelin, I do have another ship you may find just as interesting, I'm not sure of its classification but the one I was able to study is known as the Milano, it has a drive similar to the wormhole drive but instead of a point A to point B path it jumps from point to point until it reaches the destination you want, I recommend unmanned test flights if your people wish to try to use them if one is destroyed I can replace it," Alex told thor as they moved.

"What compensation do you require for these?"

"None so far, though. I would like to request the location of an aired habitable planet that has no population."

"I am aware of several such planets. May I ask what your purpose is for one?"

"We are harboring a population of roughly ten thousand or so people who evolved on a planet as I asked about, I believe that Asgard will find the people interesting, while young the race was violent until one of their leaders began a movement focusing on logic, it took them a few hundred years to stabilize but in the last few thousand years they've made great strides in multiple fields of study."

"I shall forward the request to the council, any other requirements?"

"If possible, the planet should have half again the gravity Earth has. While it won't affect them on a lesser gravity, I would like to find a planet as similar to their home as possible."

"May I inquire the reason they are seeking a new planet?"

"Ah well, they are a race from another universe, while visiting that universe a higher being requested me to help with a matter they couldn't do, after finishing the request they asked me to bring the people to this universe, I'm not fully sure why but being of a higher plane it could have been anything from them seeing a possible future here and thinking the Vulcans could help with something to it just being a joke."

"Vulcans? is an interesting name for a people, they share a name from early Earthan mythology."

"Yeah, that's going to be fun if the humans of Earth meet them because they are from a universe depicted in a TV series known as Startrek."

"You can move to universes from such sources?"

Alex shrugged, "The multiverse is infinite, it's all real out there somewhere, we've even been to a universe where the Asgard were human-looking and could live up to fifty thousand years but unlike the Asgard here they are a warrior race, based on some of the legends where your people had were seen as gods or at least mythical beings."

"We did try not to influence the humans of Earth overly well a few thousand years ago, but that was also before the protected planets treaty was placed. Although at the time, it was Ra's throne world, we were forced to leave the planet, but some did witness our battles."

"Yeah, I guessed as much; I also suspect that some of the ascended helped with that; there are too many truths in the legends to be coincident."

"If we can repair our genetic damages, would it be possible to aid us in ensuring the Goa'uld do not spread farther, possibly removing them from the galaxy entirely save for the Tok'ra?"

Alex stopped in his tracks as an idea ran through his mind, "I may have a way to help; I'll need to talk to Sam about it; give me a few days; we may be able to get some help to jumpstart that." he told Thor.

"We shall await your answer. Here is the cargo hold, you may place the ship here, and I will then take us to an open area for the ships we will study."

Alex stepped into the hold, looked around, and nodded, "You'll have to beam the ship out once we are ready to head to Earth."

"Yes, that is possible, I will take us to the place now to deposit the two promised ships," Thor said just before he activated the transport.

Sam led the others aboard Athena and to the bridge, "Dont touch anything," she called out as Carter looked around her hands absently reaching out to a panel, "While I'm sure you won't be able to accidentally activate the self-destruct we don't need you setting off the weapons and destroying something and angering the Asgard."

Carter snatched her hand back, "This ship is wonderful; if we had something like it, we could fight the Goa'uld easily," she said as she looked over some of the readouts on the power levels on the weapons.

'Please do not refer to me as a thing, I am a living being just as you are,' Athena called out over the pa.

Carter jumped; she had forgotten the ship was a living being, "Sorry, I'm not used to living ships. You are the first I have come across."

'Apology accepted, just try to remember I am alive, Mr. O'Neill please remove yourself from my captain's seat.'

"Oh come on it's just a seat," O'Neill complained but still stood.

'No, it's not just a seat; if you had activated the wrong functions, you could have opened the neural interface and then burnt out your brain in seconds,' Athena warned him, causing him to pale rapidly.

"Shouldn't you have a warning sign for things like that?" O'Neill asked, stepping away from the seat.

"Why? Most people know not to take the captain seat, have you never watched sci-fi movies or shows? When the captain is off the ship, the second in command still gives orders from his station," Sam said as she took Karen to her station, sat her on the seat, and brought up a view of some wild animals running through some grasslands outside the city.

"Riker sat in the captain chair several times if Picard went down to a planet," O'Neill said as he looked around for another place to sit.

"Yes, but the only difference between Picard and Riker was rank, Riker was always meant to be Picard's replacement should he die," Sam said while smiling on the inside as O'Neill gave her some information they needed to know, they would have to hope that the Asgard had a place they could to put the Vulcans.

"Where should I place the stasis pods and clones?" Hermiod asked from the hallway, looking around the room, marveling at what she was seeing from the living ship hidden by the stoic manner forced on the Asgard by the genetic degradation.

'The tertiary life support room should be fine as a temporary location until we return to our base, where you will have a safer place to put them,' Athena told her, taking control of the hover systems of the pods and moving them to the place where the pods could be connected to the power supply.

Kira took her station, "Sam, I see a signal coming in on the quantum communications; it's from the Pegasus galaxy," she announced, shocked she hadn't known that they had quantum communications.

"Send it over to me. I'll see what's up," Sam told her, then turned to her console.

On the console, a man's face appeared, "Ma'am we've run into some trouble, we missed a group of Genei, and they destroyed a Wraith hive ship using a jury-rigged nuclear bomb, we are going on the assumption that they did in reaction to our mission to return them to their homeworld, we are guessing they thought it was the Wraith culling their people," the man said as soon as he saw Sam.

"Damnit, it's twenty years too soon for them to awaken, how are the social satellites working, we need numbers, send us everything you can get on their movements, but most importantly keep yourselves hidden from them, you know as well as I do that if they find out your people are back in the galaxy they'll stop at nothing to kill you all," Sam swore then started giving orders.

"Yes ma'am, so far we've counted forty-five hive ships, our social satellite network is up and running, and we've been building defense satellites and placing them around the few planets we were able to colonize for farming to trade with."

"Good, get the Athosians to one of the farming planets, also look into the planet Sateda, they are a warrior people, if you need to send a few defense satellites to Sateda, if they've been culled search the planet for survivors, save all you can, ensure the Wraith know it was the Genei that woke them buried some Stargates on the planets they inhabit," Sam ordered, " Also get some samples of each cast of the Wraith, there should be a Queen in a downed hive ship under the ocean of Lantea."

"Yes, ma'am, we detected the ship but left it alone as it seemed to be inoperable; we should be able to get a lock on her location to send a stun grenade and then get the sample; what should we do once we have it?"

"Destroy it, that queen is too close to the city," Sam concluded.

The man nodded, then looked off to the side as if listening to someone, " We just received a report of five hives moving on the Gemei homeworld."

"Alright let them have them."

"How are the traveler ships doing?" she asked.

"They are up to a hundred new ships; we are now repairing their older ships now that they have enough ships to rotate their population."

"Good, speak with them about arming a few of the ships with phase cannons as well as photon torpedos; that should help," she said almost as an afterthought.

"What type of torpedo's?"

"Plasma, hide a phase shift in their casing; the hulls of Wraith ships may be able to withstand the blast, but from the inside, secondary explorations will spread the damage."

"We will see to it; We also made contact with Chaya Sar. While she can not take refugees from other planets, the others have agreed that we can move our population there; we are planning to move our base there to ensure we can't be attacked by the Wraith."

Sam nodded, "Move all assets there. We never thought the high council would allow it; leave Lantea to the travelers if they want it."

"Very well, we have a farming area that they can use to grow food, but most of their population refuse to leave their ships until the Wraith is taken care of."

"That reminds me, who has taken over growing the food that the Genei were trading with other planets?"

The man shrugged, "They didn't get far into starting their farms; we removed them from the few farmable planets; we were planning on giving it to the people using our construction facility as a home in return for asking them to vacate it."

"Alright, help them move, sink a few dozen geothermal power plants, use this formula for them it'll keep the possibility of causing geological instability," Sam told him while sending him the formula for unobtainium along with the plans she had drawn up for the power supply systems.

"Yes, ma'am," he said, then looked over the plans she had sent him, his eyes widening, "We could power a city-type shield with a few adjustments."

Sam nodded, "Set it up," she then looked to the side seeing that Alex and Thor had teleported into the ship, "We'll need a few days to finish up here then we may be able to join you, for now, take care of what we just discussed," she said then cut the communications.

"What's up?" Alex asked as he took his seat.

"The Genei blew up a hive ship and woke the Wraith," Sam told him then went on to tell him the orders she gave out.

"Right, that sounds good. I do have an idea that I want to talk to you about, but that can wait until we get these two home," Alex said, gesturing to O'Neill and Carter.

Carter was looking ready to burst, "What are the Wraith?"

Sam explained the Wraith and how they had basically killed off most of the population of a galaxy of a few thousands of worlds and left only a few hundred worlds with small populations which they cull every hundred or so years.

"But you ordered that man to leave the Genei to be culled, why?" Carter asked horror in her voice.

Here Alex spoke up, "Think of a planet filled with a population of Nazis, for the last few years they have been working on the plans to take over every habitable planet killing all non-Genei, we were planning on leaving them on their planet while fighting the Wraith, that plan went out the window when those fools blew up that ship."

"But you are leaving them to be fed on by monsters," Carter protested.

"And they will deserve it; we may have children under five years of age taken and adopted out, but the rest of the people are fanatic about their right to rule the local worlds; we can not and will not compromise our plans over one world," Sam pointed out.

"You need to focus on your galaxy, the Goa'uld rule nearly eighty-five percent of the Milky Way, you guys need to learn to tread carefully so far Apophis his queen, and son are the only ones that know Earth is back on the galactic playing field, or at least they are the only ones targeting Earth, you guys need to focus on looking for depopulated worlds to get technology and be friends with the worlds that have people and not beg for their tech," Alex told them as he was looking over the transcript of Sam talk with the Alteran captain.

"There aren't many planets out there where the goa'uld haven't destroyed or taken the stuff as their own," O'Neill complained as he silenced Carter, who seemed ready to complain more about the Genei whoever they were.

Sam sighed, "You have a jaffa in your ranks, who was the first prime of Apophis, has it occurred to any of you to ask him for addresses to planets he knows of where there may be tech with no people there to make a claim?"

Both O'Neill and Carter opened their mouths to say something then closed them again, "I didn't think so." Sam said, then looked at Alex, "Let's get them home. We need to get to Pegasus to help out."

Alex nodded, "Alright, Thor can you take these two to your ship?" he asked pointing to O'Neill and Carter, "We need to take Athena back to our spaceport,"

Thor nodded the without a word the three disappeared in flashes of light while Sam looked at Hermiod, "Our spaceport is out of phase and follows us it has no weapons so its best defense is being out of phase, we don't expect you not to tell the other Asgard but please keep it a secret from the humans from Earth or they'll hound us for the technology."

Hermiod nodded slowly, "I understand. Would it be possible to remain with Athena to study her?"

"That's fine as long as she agrees, just remember she will need to rest as well."

'I don't mind; I can remain in battle mode for another twenty-four hours before I need to rest,' Athena told them, ' You will need to move Cyla back to the sick bay of the spaceport before I can enter rest mode.'

"Alright, Athena, you can open the door. Just land on your pad; Cyla should be fine for another few hours. If you need to go into rest mode before we get back, give Sam a call."

'Yes, Captain.' Athena acknowledged.

"Sam, Kira, and Karen will go with us to the Milky Way galaxy. Athena and Hermiod will go to the spaceport; Hermiod there is a biobed in the spaceport. Please lay upon it and order it to scan you," Alex told them after reading the transcript.

Hermiod nodded while blinking slowly, "May I ask why you want me to lay in this biobed?"

Alex smiled, "So that we can get a base reading on you it will also list the mutations your people have undergone with this repeated cloning process you all have used to extend your lives."

Hermiod nodded again, "I shall use this bed it may find the evidence we have missed in the centuries since we began our cloning."

Sam smiled, "The bed may even be able to deal with the damage done, but if it does give a recommendation, you should not have it do anything until we can be there to monitor the process."

Kira, who was sitting at the console reading some of the readouts on the defenses for Athena, noticed a light blinking on the side of the screen, she looked closely and then turned to Sam.

"Sam, the biobed here on Athena, is indicating that Cyla is ready to wake up now instead of needing to wait longer," she called out after seeing it was an alert from the medbay.

Sam looked at her and then nodded, "Huh, that was faster than I thought it would be," she said, standing up, followed by the others. She went to the med bay.

They entered the room to find the isolation forcefield had turned off. Cyla was still lying on the bed, but her eyes were moving, indicating that she was coming around.

Sam moved to the side of the bed and began to read the diagnostics when Cyla sat up and looked around fearfully, "How are you feeling?" Sam asked in Alteran drawing Cyla's attention.

Cyla tried to speak but frowned as her voice refused to work properly; Sam nodded and then spoke again, "Take your time. You were in stasis far longer than it was known possible."

Alex walked to a panel at the door and tapped a button, "Thor, our guest, woke sooner than we anticipated; we will need to settle her before we join you."

"Understood, I shall await you to inform me when you are ready to board my ship," Thors reply came almost immediately.

Hermiod was at Sam's side now, reading the text on the screen beside the bed, "Astounding this medical unit has even recorded and healed minor genetic anomalies. Would it be possible to share this technology with my people?"

"We can talk about it later; we don't know if it will even work for your people; it was built to work on humans," Alex said as he joined them.

Sam was speaking to Cyla, telling her what she could and giving her what options she had going forward, "I wish to join my people; if I had not contracted the sickness, I would not have remained on Terra." Cyla told them in a scratchy voice.

Sam nodded, "We can take you to them soon. First, we need to return some humans to Terra, or as it is now known as Earth," she told Cyla.

Alex nodded and then turned to Hermiod, "We need to get going those humans are not going to be patient for much longer,"

"Yes, the male did seem to be in a rush to return to their planet, I shall stay with Athena and finish my scans," Hermiod said after looking away from the biobed, "We could ask the council to deliver Cyla to her people as well as offer aid in the fight with the Wraith," she offered.

"Alright, speak with them, Athena can open the doors to our spaceport when you are ready to leave with her," Alex said with a nod.

Once they were sure Cyla was stable, they led her from the room and off the ship. Hermiod led her to the council while Alex had contacted Thor to beam them aboard his ship, and soon they took off.
