Scene 3.
Meanwhile in another part of the Galaxy,
another Republic cruiser is seen that has landed on a rocky canyon planet with many green and red and purple layers called Stinteno that is known to have many rare ores but is relatively unexplored due to vicious sandstone storms. Aboard, is Celia, the Jedi princess, who is acting as commander of a scanning crew. As she looks at a monitor, R2-D2 is seen handing Celia some kind of beverage using his claw extender.
Celia: Thank you R2.
R2 beeps happily as Celia takes a sip.
Celia: (After taking a sip) It's good too! Thanks...now what about that weather report? How much time do we have till the next storm comes in?
R2 beeps a reply that seems informative.
Celia: That soon hu? Well we better get off this crater before we become one ourselves!
R2 beeps something back in agreement. Just then C-3PO walks up from behind R2 to speak his latest concerns.
C-3PO: Princess Celia, I've come to inform you that Captain Joom has completed scanning over ninety percent of this planet, but so far no traces of any unknown ore can be found...
Celia: I don't understand...the Republic got a reliable tip that several ores unknown to the Republic could be found here.
C-3PO: I'm afraid perhaps our information was sadly an error.
Celia: Maybe...well what about the unscanned part of the planet?
C-3PO: I am not sure wear that would be... perhaps Captain Joom would know...
Celia: I'll talk to him...
Celia walks away to see the captain leaving artoo and threepio behind.
C-3PO: Wait! Miss Celia...oh dear.

Celia enters a loading room where captain Joom, a middle aged man is giving orders to a scanning crew.
Celia: Captain Joom? May I have a word?
Joom: Yes commander Solo?
Celia: How long until we have finished our scan of this region?
Joom: We should be ready to begin scanning the last sector by tomorrow morning.
Celia: Tomorrow can't wait. There's a bad stonestorm coming in tonight. How far is this sector?
Joom: About an hour west from here if you use speeders. Just past the town of Sangak. I can get you exact coordinates if you'd like.
Celia: Thank you, yes. Get me a scanning crew and some speeders. I'm going to go out there myself.
Joom: Are you sure your highness? We don't know this area well. It may be dangerous.
Celia: There's too much at stake to wait. There's no other choice.
Joom: I understand...I'll get on it right away.

Scene 4.
Meanwhile, a good distance away, two bounty hunters wearing full face helmets are seen watching Celia through binoculars as she is speeding away with a small transport of Republic troops to assist her. With them are about twenty local hirelings that are armed and look very dangerous. The hunter holding the binoculars appears to be a female while the other one appears to be male. The female hunter lowers her binoculars and begins to speak with the male.
Female hunter: She's heading towards the town of Sangak.
Male hunter: Looks like we finally got the republic's princess to take our bait...I told you our tip would eventually draw her out...those Jedi are too good natured to not get involved when the chips are down...
Female hunter: How much time till the next storm comes in?
Male hunter: A few hours...but we better hurry...you got the thermos ready?
Female hunter: Of course I do...
Male hunter: Give them to me...
The female hands over a backpack full of thermal detonators and then hands the backpack to one of the local hirelings.
Male Hunter: You know the plan. Kill everyone aboard the cruiser and the spoils are all yours... we're going after the girl...blow the ship when your done...I can't afford any escape attempts...
Hirling leader: You know...it's a pleasure doing business with two famous bounty hunters such as yourself... But what if we want to keep the ship for ourselves?
The male hunter becomes very agitated at the suggestion and pulls his blaster on the hireling who suddenly becomes afraid for his life. After a tense second the hunter lowers his blaster and regains his composer.
Male Hunter: Forgive me for that outburst but don't you think it would be unwise to be flying around in a registered republic cruiser? Besides, we need you to regroup and back us up in case there's any trouble with the girl...do you understand?
Hireling leader: I see your point...we will do as planned.
Female hunter: Dont worry...you shall have your bonus as we agreed when the mission is complete. Now let's ride!
Everyone gets on their speeder bikes and speeds off towards the direction of the cruiser that Celia was commanding except for the two hunters who start off after Celia.

Scene 5
Meanwhile, Celia along with Artoo, Threepio, and about ten guards/scanning crewmen, are entering the town of Sangak. The crew parks the speeder near the entrance because the canyon walls twist and turn too much to allow most vehicles. The dwellings are all etched into cavern walls because of the vicious rock storms.
Celia: Come on...well hoof it from here.
Many life forms of all kinds, mostly human, look on at Celia and her company as she starts to enter while reading a scanner.
C-3PO: Be watchful R2...I believe these cave nomads are watching us...I'm not sure they are friendly...
R2 just beeps and whistles as if to say okay.
Celia: I'm sure they're friendly enough... They're just curious, that's all...
C-3PO: Well they don't have to stare at us...it makes circuits nervous.
Celia: (While looking at her scanner) How do you know they're staring at you? Maybe they are just taking a glance!
C-3PO: Mistress Celia, I know they are staring at us! I'm not makeing it up!
Celia: Well you wouldn't know if they were staring at you if you weren't doing it yourself! So why not keep your eyes ahead alright?
R2 whistles and chirps as if he's laughing at what Celia said.
C-3PO: Well I know I can be too paranoid Artoo but it's that level of alertness that has kept us safe for so long!
R2 beeps something in response that seems informative.
C-3PO: Well what you call courage I call recklessness... One day you are going to see that my cautious programming was right all along!
R2 just whistles as if to say whatever as the company moves along down the road.
