Scene 6
Meanwhile, the two hunters are seen speeding towards a vantage point which is a large rocky ridge that overlooks the town of Sangak and the road that Celia and company are traveling on. They both get into position and ready their sniper weapons.
Male hunter: You think you can hit them from here?
Female hunter: The targeting computer on this thing can hit anything-even with my eyes closed.
Male hunter: (As he is taking aim) Good! Just don't hit the girl no matter what.
Female hunter: I won't...
Male hunter: They're in my sights...
Female hunter: Just wait for the signal...
Cut to:
Meanwhile down below, Celia is continuing her trek with the guards and droids close behind.
Celia: According to this, there are some mines about half a mile due west from here...
R2 is seen with his radar dish and seems to be scanning the area as he whistles.
C-3PO: Oh that's so encouraging!
Celia: What is it Threepio?
C-3PO: He says his scanners definitely detect a high amount of minerals and ore just ahead...though he is uncertain as to what kind they may be.
Celia: That must be what we're looking for! Let's hurry!
C-3PO: Yes, let's do hurry! These rock particles are getting inside my wiring! I'm afraid too much exposure will cause irreversible erosion!
Just then as he speaks, a loud explosion is heard from the direction behind the group where their cruiser was! Everyone gasps and looks shocked as they turn around with a look of shock on their faces. Even the townspeople are startled and take cover in their homes! Celia puts away her scanner and draws out her blue lightsaber as the rest of the guards draw their blasters.
Celia: That came from where our ship is!
Guard leader: Be ready! There may be an-
Just as the guard speaks, he is shot dead!
Celia: Everyone take cover!
As everyone tries to scurry to a safer spot, several laser blasts come in quickly taking out one guard after another!
Celia: Everyone run! I'll draw their fire!
Guard two: No! We have to get you to safety!
Celia: Alright...follow me!
C-3PO: Oh this is a disaster!
The rest of the group starts to follow closely behind Celia as she runs through the canyon. The locals hide in their carved out homes as blaster fire takes out a couple more guards. Celia is able to deflect a few blasts that come close to hitting her guards and the guards fire several shots, but can't see where the hunters are at. Ahead are some large rocks that seem to be large enough to provide cover.
Celia: Everyone get behind these rocks!
Everyone along with the droids obeys Celia but she stays out in the open with her lightsaber drawn. R2 whistles as C-3PO looks on terrified.
C-3PO: Princess Celia! Do take cover!
Celia: No! I'm gonna try to draw them out! (To the hunters) You hear me! You want me, you'll have to come out!
The blasts seem to stop for a moment and all seems quite.
C-3PO: Oh! Could they have given up?
Guard: Your highness! We should get out of here now!
Celia: No. Keep hidden. I'm trying to sense them.
Celia keeps her guard up but closes her eyes. All is quite still but soon, a strong wind begins to pick up. All around the locals watch what is happening in both horror and amazement as they mumble to themselves. From within the crowd of some gathered people comes a human sized robot that is all silvery-grey with a long visor type eye that can light up.
Robot: Nekka! Take a look!
From behind comes a young rogue man named Nekka who is dressed in green in brown clothes that seems like he has been traveling for a long time, as they are dirty and fit for almost any condition. He has a blaster holder and a leather guard on his shoulder. Nekka sees Celia holding her lightsaber and is amazed.
Nekka: A Jedi! So that's why there's so much commotion! TM-T5! Do you know what this means?
TM-T5: Your excited tone tells me that you want to help her. I'm telling you to not get involved!
Nekka: (While pointing his finger at TM-T5) You can't keep telling me what to do!
TM-T5: I just did tell you-
Nekka: AH--
While Celia stands still and focused and looks around as the wind starts to pick up much faster. Then from seemingly nowhere but everywhere at once, a large amount of dust starts to consume the area and makes the visibility very hard to see!
Nekka: Ut-oh...the storm is coming in! That girl will get polarized out here!
TM-T5: If she is rational she will take cover somewhere as we shall do now. Let's go!
Nekka: Hold on a minute!
Celia holds her ground as her guards are ready to fire on any incoming enemy fire. The dust and wind continue but all is quiet as Celia stands still with her saber drawn. Then a humming is heard from ahead of her. It gets louder and louder and becomes a screeching! Then out of the dust, come several speeder bikes being driven by the group of hired thugs, each holding their blasters!
Thug 1: Remember! Stun the girl! Kill the rest!
The group of thugs start hollering and yelling as they fire towards the guards at the rocks. The guards fire back in a very tense exchange, but the quickness of the speeder bikes make it very hard for any of the thugs to be hit! Celia deflects one blast and then another, knocking one thug off his bike! Another comes in close but she uses the force to push the thug off, causing him to roll on the ground and his speeder to crash into a dwelling wall and burst into flames! Nekka looks on with great concern.
Nekka: We have to help her!
TM-T5: You will stay right here.
The speeders keep circling around Celia and the rocks that are protecting the guards and the droids. Celia is able to handle herself pretty well as she keeps deflecting blast after blast but the guards are being picked off one by one by the faster and more skilled speeder thugs.
One of the thugs are shot by the guards when the one that was knocked off moves in near the rocks to try to take the guards by surprise. He shoots one in the back but is shot back and killed by a guard. R2 rolls over to him and shocks his body just in case.
C-3PO: R2! Don't take chances with these ruffians! He could easily be faking!
R2 just beeps and whistles back. Meanwhile one of the speeders charger towards Celia while firing several shock blasts, but she deflects each one and when he's close enough she slices the top of the speeder down the middle towards the seat causing the thug to jump off quickly and scream! The speeder falls into two pieces down the middle and stops in the road.
Meanwhile up on the ridge, the male hunter is seen taking out a round disc that expands into some kind of energy plate that is as large as a shield. He puts it on the ground and sticks a battle staff onto it in a hole that it seems to fit into.
Male hunter: (To the female hunter) Grab on...
The female hunter grabs onto the staff and the male hunter as he pushes a button on his staff to activate the disc. It starts to levitate a few feet in the air and the two start to glide off the ridge to the battle! Nekka looks on as he sees the two hunters coming from above.
Nekka: We've got flyers here! TM...give me my bomb!
TM-T5: I don't support this decision!
The two hunters come in for a landing from behind the rocks and fire at the last of the guards from above killing them as C-3PO and R2 run away from the rocks and scream! As the male lands he takes his staff out of the flying disc and picks up the disc and holds it as a shield! Celia turns towards him as the remaining ten thugs regroup behind the two hunters.
Male hunter: It's over my dear. Now come with me before there is more unnecessary bloodshed.
Celia: Come get me fodder muncher!
The male hunter approaches her as the two trade blows! Her saber strikes against his energy shield as he strikes at her with his staff!
C-3PO: Oh no! Watch out mistress Celia!
Celia and the hunter trade more blows and get in a lock grip.
Celia: You killed all these good men! You blew up my ship too didn't you?!
Male hunter: Guilty my dear...
Celia: That's all I needed to hear!
The two trade blows some more when Celia cuts the hunter's staff in two and force pushes him to the ground! She trys to point her saber at him as if to make him surrender when all of a sudden the female hunter stuns her!
Female hunter: I've had enough of these games! Grab her and let's go!
The male hunter gets to his feet and is just about to pick her up as the thugs are revving up their speeders to take her away when all of a sudden from out of nowhere comes Nekka and TM-T5 in a large box shaped speeder that is meant for mine travel.
Nekka: Hey! Can I borrow the girl before you take her?!
Male hunter: What!?!
Before anyone can react, Nekka tosses out a bomb of some kind that blasts a powerful wave at all of the thugs and hunters and knocks them down with a blue shock! Nekka gets out and grabs Celia.
Nekka: TM-T5! Help me! Grab her droids!
TM-T5 walks over and picks up C-3PO who was knocked down in the blast and stunned. R2 seems stunned as well.
TM-T5: I believe her droids have short circuited. We should leave them.
Nekka: Bring them too. Maybe they're worth something.
TM-T5 tosses C-3PO in the cart as Nekka sets Celia down carefully.
Nekka: Hurry, help me grab the Astro droid too.
TM-T5 (As him and Nekka are grabbing R2) This model is too old to be of any value...
R2 is set in the cart as Nekka and TM-T5 get in. Some of the fallen thugs start to groan as they are waking up.
TM-T5: It appears that the villainy bruts are starting to recover...
Nekka: We better get outta here!
Nekka hits the controls and speeds off towards some nearby mines.
