Yo what up Looney Tunes fans, you ready for another story? I know i am, lets skip the introductions and get right to it. Read and Review and I'll see you next time. yada yada you know the drill by now.

I haven't written an M rated story in a few years, I've stayed away from that stuff, but I'll keep it light if you could call it that (But I'll let you be the judge)

This story takes place five years after the events of "Opposites Attract", without further ado i hope you enjoy. I'm having Lola behave like she did in space Jam, i'm getting used to seeing that side of her now.

Chapter 1: Will you marry me?

Bugs was sleeping in his bed until the sun's rays woke him up from his slumber, his alarm clock began beeping as he quickly shut it off before groggily getting up and walking into the bathroom to do his morning routine. Fifteen minutes later he came out after taking his shower, brushing his teeth etc.

He went downstairs to go make breakfast and while he was doing that his mind began to drift to Lola, the two have been going out for five years and counting, each day he spent with Lola was special to him, and she was the best thing that ever happened to him. Every day felt like its own little adventure, and he knew she was the one for him if we wind it back to when Honey showed up at Bugs' house to Quote 'win him back' unquote. With Lola he could finally move on from Honey and focus on themselves and their relationship.

Then he made up his mind, everything lead up to one conclusion. He was going to ask for Lola's hand in marriage. He couldn't live his life if Lola wasn't a part of it, she just made everything better for Bugs.

"I can't deny it any longer, I'm going to ask Lola to marry me" Bugs said. He finished making breakfast and sat down to eat, it wasn't a complicated breakfast, just some toast with peanut butter and bananas. A few minutes later he finished his breakfast and washed his dishes and looked at the time, it was still very early, and he didn't think the local jewelry store was open right now, if it was then Bugs would prefer to go later, when he actually had a plan in mind. After all who in their right mind would propose to someone without at least taking them out to dinner first.

"Eh, I'll go later" Bugs said. He walked over to the couch and watched the Dodgers game, surprised he could watch the game, then again, he fixed his cable issues a few years ago.

"But first" Bugs said, he grabbed his phone and dialed Lola's number. He waited until he heard a voice on the other end.

"Hello" sounded an angelic voice on the other end.

"Hey Lo, what're you doing right now?" Bugs asked.

"Hey Bugs, nothing much I'm just watching television" Lola answered.

Bugs chuckled 'We even watch television at the same time' he thought with a chuckle.

"Got any plans for today?" Bugs asked.

"Well i have a job interview at a clinic later today" Lola explained.

"Oh really? Good for you sweetie, i know you'll do great" Bugs said, Lola smiled at the praise.

"Thank you, sweetheart. I'm also coaching at the local gym" Lola explained.

"That's great Lola. I'm proud of you" Bugs said. Lola blushed and giggled.

"Aw, thank you" Lola said, suddenly her watch buzzed, and Lola took that as a sign to get going.

"Well Bugs i better get going, Tryouts start at 11:30" Lola said.

"Ok then, see you later. After you get back, we can hang out later today" Bugs said.

"Sounds good, I'd love to" Lola said.

"See you later" Bugs said. He hung up the phone and got up.

"Maybe i should get a new job too" Bugs said. He got up and loaded up his computer and searched the web for a job he'd be interested in. Accountant, Sales associate, collage teacher, they just didn't sound good enough to him, he was looking for something that paid well. He couldn't find anything and shut the computer down, he found a position as a company CEO but decided he'll check back later, he wasn't exactly rushing for a new job, but he needed something that paid well.

"Maybe a new house would be nice too. Although I'll miss this place" Bugs said. If he ever wanted to start a family with Lola one day, which he did, he wanted something bigger.

"Oh well, we'll cross that road when we get there" Bugs said, closing his laptop he decided to go for a run to pass the time. He ran upstairs and put on his athlete gear and came back downstairs. He opened his door before locking it behind him.

"Howdy Partner" Yosemite Sam said as he waved at Bugs.

"What's up, Doc?" Bugs said as he walked on the sidewalk. Taking out his phone he put in his earbuds.

"Hello dear" Granny said, Bugs her a nod back, unable to hear with his earbuds as he walked further and further away, even after a few years Granny was still going strong. He admired that about her. His walk took him into the busy city, and he found himself at a fancy restaurant, he smirked as an idea came to him, and he walked inside.

"Hello, I'd like to book a reservation please. A table for two if you can, can we have a table by the window?" Bugs asked.

"Don't worry sir we'll have that arranged and ready for you later, what time?" the hostess asked.

"9:30 tonight" Bugs said, unable to hide his widening smirk.

"Name?" she asked.

"Bugs Bunny" Bugs said. The hostess took a second to write that in the computer and checked him in. After a minute or two she stopped and turned to Bugs and smiled.

"Alright sir your reservation has been arranged and everything went well. We'll be expecting you" the hostess said.

"Thank you very much ma'am" Bugs said.

"Have a nice day sir" the hostess said as Bugs walked out of the restaurant.

"Maybe a movie wouldn't hurt either, i wonder what's out though" Bugs said then he looked to the side and noticed a poster for a film that recently came out.

'Love in our hearts' it read in pink letters with the two main characters, a woman named Sarah and a man named Mark.

"Fucking kill me" Bugs said, Lola was a big romance fan, and he knew Lola would've dragged him to the theater if the roles were reversed. But he shoved that to the side for now and went inside, the theater was packed with people buying tickets, buying refreshments or just waiting for the men's restroom before showtime, while the woman's restroom didn't seem packed at all.

He walked up to the front and to the Box office clerk who smiled at him. Why was everyone so happy today? Bugs wondered.

"Hello and how may i help you?" the clerk asked with a smile.

"Two tickets for 'Love in Our hearts' please, I'd like to make a reservation" Bugs said.

"Ok sir and what time?" he asked.

"Do you have a showing at 10:15pm?" Bugs asked.

"As a matter of fact, we do, I'll get started on that. One moment please" he said.

"You can book your seats on the touch screen there" he added as he motioned to the touch screen. Bugs reserved some seats in the middle row and turned back to the ticket clerk.

"Do I have to pay right now, or can I pay after the showing?" Bugs asked.

"You can pay now if you'd like" he said. Bugs handed him his card, and he ran his information through the system and the clerk smiled.

"Ok that'll be $74.23 please" the clerk said. He gave Bugs' credit card back and handed him the tickets.

"Thank you very much" Bugs said.

"Your welcome sir, you have a wonderful day" the clerk wished. Bugs walked out of the theater and walked down the sidewalk, and his phone buzzed, signaling that he got a message, he pulled out his phone and looked at who messaged him. It was Lola.

To: Bugs

Hi Bugs, great news, i passed my interview. I'll be starting next week! I'm so excited! We should celebrate tonight.

I love you Bugs. Thank you for being the best boyfriend ever.

Lola

'I've only just begun sweetheart, I'm gonna make you mine' Bugs thought. He passed the local Kay jewelers and walked inside, everything was just how he remembered it, the floors remained the same, made in the style of the floors in the Mall of America. Rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings lined the whole store.

Bugs knew what he was here for and went to the wedding ring display and looked at all the elegantly crafted rings.

"Can i help you with something sir?" a Jeweler asked.

"I'm alright doc" Bugs said. She nodded and continued to help fellow customers. Then his eye caught sight of one of the most beautiful rings he ever saw. It was a gold band with light yellow diamonds surrounding a red ruby in the center that was 6x6 by size. The yellow diamonds looked to be 0.75 carats, the ring had the word 'Love' engraved in it and bugs caught himself staring at the ring in a daze.

(Dream)

"Do You bugs Bunny take Lola to be your lovely, wedded wife?" Foghorn said.

"I do" Bugs said, looking at his lovely soon-to-be-wife, clad in a beautiful white dress that swayed in the wind. The audience looked on in anticipation as they all looked at the two in suspense.

And do you, Lola Bunny take Bugs Bunny to be your husband?" Foghorn said.

"I do" Lola said, looking into Bugs' eyes with nothing but pure love.

"Sir? sir? hello?" Longhorn said. Bugs snapped back to reality.

(Dream ends)

"Sir? sir? hello?" the clerk said. Bugs smiled.

"S-sorry about that doc. I would like to buy this ring please" Bugs said pointing to the ring.

"Excellent choice, sir" he said. he grabbed the ring from the display and went to the checkout counter.

"Thanks, doc" Bugs said. He walked up to the counted and the clerk rang up his order.

"That will be $2.999" he said. Bugs cringed and took out his wallet and handed him the money. The clerk handed him the ring in a beautiful black box. He cringed on the inside, that hurt to get but he wanted to, for Lola, this was definitely worth it if his plan words well in the end.

'Lola i love you so much, i can't wait to make you mine forever' Bugs thought.

"Here you are sir" the jeweler said handing Bugs the ring. He put it in his pocket.

"Thanks, have a great day doc" Bugs said. He walked out and checked his phone for the time.

12:30PM, it read.

He walked out of the store and his stomach growled, but then his phone rang. He took it out of his pocket and answered it.

"Hello?" Bugs said into the phone.

"Hey Bugs, what're you doing?" Lola asked.

"I'm just out for a walk, i was just going to get something to eat before heading back home" Bugs said. playing with the small box in his pocket.

"Oh, ok. Do you want me to come over later?" Lola asked. Bugs froze; he wasn't ready yet! He needed an excuse and fast.

"Uhhh you can't come over yet because the house is a mess, i have not gotten around to cleaning it yet. I was at the store getting more stuff to finish" Bugs hastily explained, luckily his lie worked.

"Uh-huhhhh" Lola said over the phone, Bugs' started sweating bullets, thinking he may have been busted, but luckily, she changed the subject.

"Well, when you get that done, we can hang out tonight. Later sweetheart" Lola said before she hung up. Bugs sighed and put his phone back in his pocket. He walked to a Subway and grabbed a BLT sub with extra fixings and taking it to go. He walked out of the restaurant to see a Men's Wearhouse down the block. Bugs made his way there and walked inside.

Bugs looked at all the suits, he knew he already spent a lot of money, guess that carrot peeler invention really paid off in the end. But still...

"I can't believe i spent this much on Lola. Is this what it feels like to marry someone? You spend an extravagant amount of money?" Bugs sighed, knowing this wouldn't be the last time.

"Hello sir, how can i help you?" the clerk asked.

"I need a suit for a wedding" Bugs said.

"Say no more sir, right this way" he said as he escorted Bugs to the suits section. A moment later they made it to the suit section.

"Ah, perfect. Thanks so much" Bugs said.

"You're welcome, sir, I'll be at the register" he said before walking away. Bugs went through the suit rack when he found a suit he really liked. It was a black suit with a white under shirt and a black bowtie instead of the usual necktie. The tie was also black in color; he picked that suit and found the section that sold cufflinks and got two matching gold ones before heading over to the counter.

"Hello sir, did you find everything ok?" he asked.

Bugs handed him the suit and cufflinks along with his card and handed them over to the cashier. "Yeah, i did" Bugs said. The cashier ran Bugs' purchase.

"That'll be $800 please" the cashier said, Bugs handed him his credit card as he ran it through and put the suit in a bag before handing back to him.

"Thank you for shopping at Men's Warehouse sir, i wish you luck at the wedding" he said.

"Thanks Doc" Bugs said as he exited the store. He walked all the way back home.

(Later)

Bugs walked inside and set his sandwich down on the table before walking upstairs to his room, he hung his suit on the door hook and put the ring somewhere safe before walking downstairs to (finally!) eat his sandwich. He sat at the table before chowing down. A few minutes later he finished and threw the trash away, before getting on the couch and watching television feeling completely exhausted.

"Ahhh this is what i needed" Bugs said as he stretched his sore limbs on the couch while watching television, currently he was just watching whatever was on, he didn't feel the need to channel surf. Then his phone buzzed, and he got a notification that someone texted him.

To Bugs

Subject: Spending time together

I can't wait to see you Bugs, i hope you planned something special.

Lola

Bugs laughed and decided to tease her a bit.

To: Lola

Subject:

Hello love, i don't know if i have something special planned, you'll just have to wait and see~

Bugs

Bugs sent the message and got the finger with a crying emoji in return and laughed even harder.

"Oh Lola" Bugs said still coming down from his laughing fit.

(Hours later, 9:30)

Bugs checked his watch and smiled, the moment of truth. He got his ring and put it in his pocket and walked outside and got in his car-A dodge Viper ACR that was painted black with a red stripe going down the middle.

"Lola you will be mine" Bugs said as he backed out of his driveway and drove over to Lola's house. He drove for a while before he finally reached his destination. He got out of his car and walked up to the front door and knocked.

"Coming" Lola said. Bugs waited for a bit until the door opened, Lola was dressed in a black dress with stilettos on her feet and she was wearing her perfume.

"Ready, doll" Bugs asked teasingly, Lola glared daggers at him.

"Don't know, do you want your balls squeezed?" Lola asked threateningly.

"You ready or not?" Bugs asked, Lola sighed as she calmed down.

"Fine, I'm ready" Lola said. Bugs took Lola by the hand and got in the car before they drove off to the theater.

"So, what movie are we watching?" Lola asked curiously, she was disappointed when they drove passed the theater.

"Bugs, the theater is back that way" Lola reminded him. Bugs smiled knowingly and drove to the restaurant instead.

"We're here" Bugs said as Lola's eyes widened in shock. She couldn't believe it. They were right in front of a restaurant called The Penthouse at Mastro's.

"H-h-how?" was all Lola could ask as the two walked inside and were greeted by a waitress.

"Ah, Mr. Bunny we've been expecting you, your table is ready" she said as she grabbed two menus'.

"Follow me" she said. Bugs and Lola followed her until they reached the end of the restaurant where a table with a window was already set up for them.

"Here is your table, can i start you off with anything to drink?" she asked.

"Red wine please" Bugs said.

"I'll have a red wine too" Lola said. The waitress wrote that down and smiled politely.

"Ok" she said as she walked away. Before another waiter came over to them.

"Have you decided on what to order?" he asked.

"I'll have your local Bluefin tuna please" Bugs said.

"And for you ma'am?" he asked as he turned to Lola.

"I'll have the beechwood Salmon please" Lola said politely.

"Ok, I'll have that out to you shortly, please, enjoy your time here" he said modestly before walking away.

"How can you afford this!?" Lola asked through clenched teeth, she looked at the prices and was slack jawed. How can someone like Bugs afford to eat here?

"I don't come here often, maybe once a year or so. But not as often as someone would think" Bugs explained.

"How much money do you have?" Lola asked.

"Enough" Bugs said simply. Lola glared at him suspiciously.

"Ok I'll go with that, but that doesn't mean your off the hook" Lola said. Bugs started sweating nervously.

"I INVENTED THE CARROT PEALER" Bugs yelled. Everyone stopped and looked at the two, Bugs hid away behind his menu. Lola smirked.

"Here you are sir" a waiter said setting their food down in front of them, they told stories and laughed, joked around and had a wonderful time. The two paid and walked to Bugs' car and got inside, Bugs turned on the ignition and they exited the restaurant parking lot. Heading straight to the theater.

(At the movies)

Soon they made it there in record time and went inside. They were greeted by the clerk who waved at them when they got to the desk.

"Here are your tickets sir. Enjoy the movie" he said, Bugs gave a silent nod, and they went to buy their popcorn and snacks. They walked into the theater and saw their movie.

(One movie later)

'Fucking kill me' was what Bugs was thinking the whole time while on his face was a traumatized expression and he wanted to vomit. Now he knew why he didn't enjoy romance films.

"Bleeeeeeeeh" Bugs said as he vomited, thank God he had the foresight to vomit nowhere near his car or God help him his shoes. They were hella expensive and he didn't want to buy a whole new suit all because something stupid happened. He came back and turned the ignition as the engine roared to life. He pulled out of the parking lot as Lola turned to him while still laughing.

"Was the movie that bad?" Lola asked with a snicker. Bugs turned his bloodshot gaze to her and scowled.

"Never...AGAIN" Bugs said defiantly. Admittedly he was still mildly intoxicated and was sure the cops would pull him over, but they made it to his final destination, everything that happened has led up to this very moment. The two got out of the car and walked to the lakes edge that was illuminated only by the full moon up above, around them firefly's twinkled faintly in the air, the air was crisp and cool, and the sky was cloudless as the stars twinkled.

"It's beautiful" Lola said breathless.

"It's about to get even better" Bugs said.

"What do you mean?" Lola asked confused.

Bugs pulled the ring box out from his pocked and revealed the ring as he got down on one knee. Lola covered her gasp with her hands as she started tearing up.

"Lola? We've been together for over five years and counting now and it made me realize how much you mean to me, i want to live every day of the rest of our lives with you, you make everything around me so much brighter, so I have to ask you...will you marry me?" Bugs asked.

Lola let the tears loose. "Oh Bugs, Yes, yes i will" she said as she watched Bugs place the ring on her middle finger and the diamonds shined in the light of the moon cast overhead. She grabbed Bugs' face with both hands as she mashed her lips with his. Soon the two let go.

"Take me home, baby" Lola said as she was picked up in a bridal carry back to the car and the two drove back to Bugs' house. They pulled into his driveway and got out. They walked inside the house as Bugs carried her upstairs to his bedroom. He took off his suit and climbed into bed with Lola joining him after.

The two shared a kiss as they smiled at each other.

"Goodnight my beautiful Fiancé" Bugs said.

"Goodnight my beautiful Fiancé" Lola said. "I love you" she said after.

"I love you too. Now and forever" Bugs said as they closed their eyes and fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms.
