It was another average day for the Tennysons. Recently, they had been thinking of everything they've accomplished over the past few months. They had managed to defeat a lot of villains along the way. They wondered if they would be able to get on the level of superheroes such as the Galactic Enforcers, only time would tell. But for now, Ben was randomly scrolling through the Omnitrix's playlist of transformations. He had collected lots of DNA samples since he was 10, but there was one that confused him. It wasn't marked by any outlines. Instead, it was represented by a question mark. "I wonder what this is..." he thought.
"Somethin' bothering you 'cuz?" Gwen asked, "Oh, nothing. It's just that I don't know what this is supposed to be." replied Ben pointing at the question mark. "Maybe it's a mystery alien?" Gwen suggested, "I've tried turning into it, but whenever I did nothing happens. -Except for an error message appearing on the Omnitrix every time I do it." Ben added. "Huh..." said Gwen perplexed.
Meanwhile, Max was searching something on his tablet. It seemed like one of the tabs he had open had a picture of what seemed to be an amusement park. "Hey guys, wanna go to the amusement park later?" he asked. "Sure." replied Ben, "We don't hang out that often anymore. Just the three of us I mean, so this will be a perfect opportunity to do that." agreed Gwen. "Perfect, I'm going to go get ready." replied Max as he walked over to one of the Rustbucket's drawers. While Max looked in the drawer, Ben and Gwen continued talking to each other.
"Yeah but like... what if one day we come across a bad guy that we can't form a plan to defeat?"
"Then it's gonna be over for us. Nothing is permanent, everything will come to an end soon. -And that includes our careers as superheroes. Should that ever happen I'm going to say it's been an honor serving with you guys."
"Thanks, and the same to you as well."
"You're welcome, and thank you too."
After Ben and Gwen finished chatting, Max pulled something out of the drawer. It was a nice set of clothes he could wear to the amusement park. It wasn't that different from what he usually wore, but at least it looked like something that could be better worn in an amusement park than a car show. Max's usual shirt had tires and fire on it.
A few minutes later...
Max was ready to go, "So kids, are you both ready?" he asked. "Yep." replied Ben, "Let's go." added Gwen. Then, Max switched the Rustbucket's engine on before driving to the amusement park.
Once Max got to the amusement park, he found a parking spot fast. Then, he unbuckled his seatbelt. And so did Ben and Gwen to theirs. Then, they all went out. "So... what're we doing first?" asked Gwen. Just then, Ben caught someone out of the corner of his eye. It was someone he was familiar with but we aren't (yet). It was a man with white skin, black face paint and a weird outfit that seemed fit for a weird clown. "I-Is that..." he thought before starting to follow him. "Hey guys, call me crazy but I think I just saw Zombozo around here." said Ben, "Zombozo?! Where?!" asked Gwen. "Follow me." replied Ben before he continued to walk, Max and Gwen then followed behind.
Ben followed Zombozo with Max and Gwen behind him. Eventually, Zombozo reached an empty backstage. "Huh? That's weird." thought Ben as he, Max and Gwen followed him there. When they got in, they tried looking for him. But they couldn't see him anywhere. Then
FLICK! FLICK!
"Welcome to the final act, Tennysons!"
"Zombozo!"
"You three have fallen into my trap! Now, I will make all of your greatest fears come true. Ahahahaha!"
"Not gonna happen! It's-"
SQUEAK!
BAM!
"Agh!"
CRASH!
Ben was about to transform when Zombozo took out a huge rubber chicken and smacked him with it, Ben was sent flying into Max and Gwen. The three ended up crashing into some objects making them fall. "Agh..." groaned Ben as he, Max and Gwen got back up. Then, Zombozo took out a can of gas before spraying it at them.
FWOOSH!
COUGH! COUGH! COUGH!
The Tennysons ended up coughing and choking, before fainting and falling on the ground. "Nighty-night. Ahahahaha!" laughed Zombozo.
Some time later...
Zombozo placed the Tennysons on stretchers with oxygen tanks filled with the gas he used to make them faint attached to them, this would keep them asleep. Meanwhile, he was using some other devices to work his way through their minds.
"How's the operation of the NoAH X?"
"Everything is going according to plan."
"Good, once I have the Tennysons at their most vulnerable psychologically I will ruin and destroy them in the most torturous and painful way possible. Ahahahaha!"
The person who asked about "NoAH X" was none other than Black Jack! He was back! And he's back for revenge against the Tennysons for defeating him the last time they fought. Once he had the Tennysons cornered in their minds' most vulnerable state he would psychologically torture them before killing them.
Meanwhile...
"Ungh... wh-where are we?"
"-SURPRISE!"
"AAH! Wh-Who- Oh, Z-Zombozo?!"
"Hello Tennysons, I'd love to stay but I gotta work with my new friend!"
"Wh-Who?!"
FLASH!
"Ahahahaha!"
"Wh-What?!"
"B-B-B-Black Jack?!"
"Surpriiise! Hahahahaha! You three never thought you'd see me again, did you? Well, I'm here. And I'm going to make all of your lives hell from the inside out!
Ahahahahaha!"
FLASH!
Black Jack and Zombozo disappeared from view, before everything went white for the Tennysons. Then...
"Now I know this summer vacation may not have gone the way I planned it to go, but I wouldn't change a single second of it."
"Us too, grandpa."
Black Jack and Zombozo erased everything that happened from the Tennysons' memories and replaced them with fake ones, so currently Ben and Gwen still think that they go to school when in reality they had to stop because of their careers as superheroes. And Black Jack altered Max's body to become weak and frail in his imagination, so Max thinks he's already really old and weak.
The Tennysons continued talking to each other when something hit the Rustbucket hard! It made it spin out of control and crash into a huge rock.
SCREEECH!
CRASH!
The Rustbucket's front side was badly damaged, the Tennysons then struggled to get out. When they did, they checked it. "Well, I guess I'll just have to go XLR8 to take us to where we're going." said Ben. Just then, the clouds started turning gray.
"Huh? That's strange." said Ben as he, Gwen and Max looked up. Then, it began raining. The downpour was very heavy. Just then
BOOM!
Lightning and thunder came, many of them appeared so fast. Suddenly, as another flash of lightning and roar of thunder appeared so did someone else in the distance.
"Hello, Tennysons."
"Wh-What?! V-Vilgax?!"
"You thought you defeated me, you could never be more wrong. This time, I've brought some friends."
As soon as Vilgax said that, every single villain that the Tennysons had faced suddenly appeared!
"This is the end, Tennysons! And as for you, Ben Tennyson... -your "hero time" is up!"
"Bring it!"
FLASH!
"Echo Echo!"
Ben transformed into Echo Echo, before multiplying himself. Then, he and his clones screamed at all the villains they ever faced. However, they scattered and started trying to attack them. And they were succeeding. One by one, Ben's clones began to get obliterated. Max and Gwen tried to help him, but they were overpowered by the sheer number of villains present. "Agh! There's too many of them! I'm not sure if I'll be able to help Ben this way!" said Max, "Solaris!" shouted Gwen before blasting light from her hand. It hit some of the villains weakening them, but not enough to make any actual progress. "Dammit! There's too many of them! And they look kinda bloodlusted!" said Gwen as she kept on fighting. "HAHAHAHAHA!" laughed Vilgax as he watched from above the rock he was standing on. Then, he came down to destroy the Tennysons himself.
The other villains soon overpowered the Tennysons and started injuring them severely, making them bleed on most of their body parts. "AAH!" Ben and his clones yelled in pain as the clones continued to get killed. "Ahahahaha! Karma's a bitch, ain't it?" said Lucifer as he watched the Tennysons continue to get injured with glee. "Enough! They're mine now. I'll finish the job." said Vilgax. The other villains then backed away, before Vilgax came up front and said "For too long, all of you have been thorns on my side. Now, I'm going to get rid of you all permanently!". Vilgax jumped off from the stone he was standing on, before taking out a huge blaster. He aimed it at the Tennysons, before firing it.
FLASH!
BOOM!
"AAH!"
"Agh!"
"Oomph!"
The Tennysons flew into the ground. Gwen and Max were bleeding even more now, but Ben only had some scratches. Vilgax was planning to do something with him. Vilgax then walked up to him, before putting his blaster back on his back. Then, he took out a device. It was a claw-like object that looked like some sort of grappling claw. "Now, it's time I claimed what is rightfully mine!" said Vilgax, before kicking Ben into a rock hard.
BAM!
THUD!
"Agh!"
Once Ben was down, he went over to him and tapped on the Omnitrix.
FLASH!
Then, he raised the claw-like device up before pinning it on top of Ben. Its claw part held on tightly to the ground as it started to remove the Omnitrix.
FLASH!
"AAAHHH!"
Ben screamed as he tried to break free, but he couldn't. The device was pulling on his left wrist like crazy. The Omnitrix started to spark and tried sending a massive energy burst, but it failed as the device neutralized its feedback system.
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
"AAAHHH!"
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
The Omnitrix started to detach from Ben's wrist, but that wasn't all. Ben's wrist started to break! Its skin started to tear and blood started coming out of it! "AAAHHH!" Ben screamed again as his wrist started to become destroyed. Just then
FLASH!
BOOM!
"AAAHHH!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"-BEN! -NO!"
"-BEN!"
"AAAHHH!"
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
The Omnitrix had finally been removed, and part of Ben's left arm was disintegrated from the blast. "AHAHAHAHAHA!" Vilgax laughed, the device then placed the Omnitrix in a clear spherical container before giving it to him. He took it, before saying "At long last, after all these years. The Omnitrix... -is finally mine! AHAHAHAHAHA!".
Vilgax then made the device let go of Ben, Ben held his arm in pain. Part of it was no longer there, it was now just a mess of inner flesh, skin and blood. "Y-You got the Omnitrix now, wh-what more do you want?!" said Ben, "Revenge! This time, I'm not just going to take the Omnitrix from you. I will destroy you too! But not before making you watch everyone you love get destroyed first, starting with your precious cousin and grandfather." Vilgax replied before laughing maniacally. "Destroy them!" he commanded, the other villains then started coming towards Max and Gwen. "-NO!" yelled Ben, he tried to get up but he was too weak to do so. "B-Ben! Get out of here!" yelled Max, "-GO! -NOW!" added Gwen. But Ben refused to do so. He tried to help them, but he could barely stand up. Then
"AAH!"
"AAH!"
SPLATCH! SPLATCH!
"-NOOO!"
"AHAHAHAHAHA!"
Max and Gwen were reduced to inner flesh, internal organs and puddles of blood, they have been completely destroyed from the inside out. Ben looked on in horror as he saw the atrocity the villains had just committed. "-Y-You monsters!" Ben screamed in rage as he tried to fully stand up. However, Vilgax kicked him in the head and made him fall again. His head bled profusely as his vision started to blur. "Ungh..." groaned Ben as he tried to get up, but he was already weakening and felt like he was going to die. With that, Vilgax said what was supposed to be his final words to Ben.
"Looks like "hero time" is up! DIIING! -AHAHAHAHAHA! You should've kept your nose out of my business. Now this place will become your grave. Y'know, I was willing to let you live for a little longer just so that you could see everything you fought for get destroyed. But you're one persistent little rat, aren't you? You've tested my patience long enough, Ben Tennyson. Now, I'm going to DESTROY YOU! -RAAH!"
Vilgax raised his arm up, preparing to smash Ben into a bloody pulp. Then, Ben shut his eyes tight and prepared himself for what was about to come.
Meanwhile...
"Heeyah!"
BAM!
"Agh!"
"Oomph!"
"Get away from them!"
"-YOU!"
"That's right, "father". I'm back. Let them go!"
"Hahahaha! I don't think so! I've had to deal with alternate counterparts of yourself, now I'm going to get rid of one of them permanently! Ahahahaha!"
"-NO!"
Meanwhile, another Ben was fighting against Black Jack and Zombozo while our Ben and his family were still attached to the devices that Black Jack placed on their heads. It was the Ben of the same dimension that had the "Future Gadget Lab!", he had grown up just like our Ben. But there were differences, he had armor and a sword. There was writing in Japanese on the sword's left side of its blade, it read "Excalibur". Was this really the famed legendary sword of King Arthur?!
KLANG!
This Ben and Black Jack's swords clashed against each other, sparks flew as their blades hit each other. "You'll never win, Tennyson! I will always be ten steps ahead of you! After all, I am your father! Ahahahaha!" laughed Black Jack, "I wish you weren't." this Ben half said to himself before managing to slash Black Jack across the stomach.
SLASH!
"ARGH!"
Black Jack roared in pain as a huge gash now started bleeding on his stomach. Even though he had armor now, Ben's sword was able to penetrate through it. "-YOU LITTLE-" he roared again, before tackling him and punching him in the head.
"RAAH!"
BAM!
"Agh!"
Even though this Ben's head was protected by his armor, it still bled from the force of Black Jack's fist. Black Jack had punched him so hard that he was able to make him bleed. This Ben then summoned a blue shield and bashed him with it.
FLASH!
BAM!
"Argh!"
THUMP!
Black Jack ended up falling on the ground, he became slightly dizzy from the force of the shield hitting him. Zombozo then got back up again. He blew some balloons, before making them fly near this Ben. This Ben put up his shield just in case the balloons did something, and they did. When they popped, explosions were made. It sent this Ben flying into a wall, slightly breaking it. "Agh!" said Ben, before he slumped on the ground. Just then, Zombozo took out some ribbons before tying Ben up with them. "Wh-What the-?!" said Ben in surprise, "Hahahahahaaa!" Zombozo laughed. Just then, Black Jack rushed towards Ben and tried slashing his head off with his sword. However, Ben got down and rolled towards him causing him to fall. "Oomph!" said Black Jack as he fell again.
"Rrgh!" grunted Ben as he managed to break free of the ribbons. Then, he took a big swing at Black Jack making a huge cut on his neck.
"RAAH!"
SLASH!
"AGH!"
Black Jack started bleeding profusely from the neck, he began to feel dizzy. Now his vision was the one that was blurring. "First you make my life hell, now you want to make the lives of my alternate counterparts the same way!" shouted Ben, before preparing to stab him in the head. Then, Black Jack said "You cannot keep this up forever, Ben Tennyson! One day, you will make a wrong move! And that'll be the last time!" before disappearing. "Hey! Get back here!" said Ben, before teleporting after him.
Zombozo was left all alone. And since that was the case, he figured he'd finish the job. He hated the Tennysons too anyway.
Meanwhile...
In our Ben's "dream", it was pitch-black. No noise, no feelings, nothing. Until...
FLASH!
Someone appeared in his "dream", it was a girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes. Ben regained consciousness in his dream, before groaning and asking "Wh-Where am I...?".
"Greetings, Ben Tennyson."
"AAH!"
"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you. I am Elizabeth, a gigalomaniac. I'm here to help you."
"O-Okay? Y-You're gonna revive my dead grandpa and cousin? C-Can you do that?"
"No. Because you see, they are not dead. They are in fact, alive. You are just not in the real world."
"Wh-What do you mean?!"
"When that clown knocked you and your family out with the gas, he and Black Jack attached the three of you to devices which are linked to NoAH X. NoAH X is a project being tested out by Black Jack and some of his associates."
"Wh-What's he planning to do with it?!"
"If the test succeeds, that is putting you guys through this... He will include it in his arsenal of devices that he officially uses to try and take over worlds. -Especially, my world."
"Wh-What is your world?"
"A place filled with god-like beings that is gigalomaniacs among the people that walk over it."
"O-Oh."
"But enough about me and my world, you and your family need to get out of this imaginary place. If you three don't, all of you will be trapped in this state forever. And Black Jack will use all of you for more of his experiments."
"H-How do we get out?!"
"The key lies within you. Or more specifically, your Omnitrix."
"Hey, how do you know about the Omnitrix?!"
"Long story, but enough about that. Now, I want you to activate it."
"O-Okay?"
Ben activated the Omnitrix. Then, Elizabeth held the core in her hand. Suddenly
FLASH!
"Wh-What's going on?!"
"Be patient. Let me do some of the work, so you'll be able to finish the rest of it."
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! KZZT!
"Wh-What did you do?"
"Slam it."
FLASH!
Ben slammed on the Omnitrix to try and transform. But when he did, he looked the same as before. "Hey, that didn't do anything! Unless there's something I don't know about?" he said, "You are now a gigalomaniac in this dream. You have god-like powers. But with what you need to do, you can only do it once. So use it to get yourself and your family out of this dream. When you come back to the real world, this power will be gone as you are not a gigalomaniac in reality. Don't worry about Black Jack by then, he'll be gone and defeated by the time you wake up. Beat the clown and get your family to safety." replied Elizabeth. Ben nodded, before starting to use his newfound power. He summoned a sword just like the other Ben that teleported after Black Jack. Then...
FLASH!
"AAH!"
What Elizabeth said was true. Ben was now awake, he took the device that was attached to his head and ripped it off its cord before throwing it aside. He then helped Gwen and Max as he ripped the devices that were on their heads as well. "Ungh..." groaned Max, "Wh-Wha...?" groaned Gwen as she looked around. "Guys, you're awake! Quick! Get that clown!" said Ben.
Zombozo gasped, before trying to kill them with the rubber chicken. However, Ben was quick and kicked him in the face. "Oomph!" said Zombozo as he fell on the floor, "Paralutus!" yelled Gwen as she paralyzed Zombozo. Just then, Max fired two shells from his blaster trapping Zombozo in two nets.
BANG! BANG!
KZZT! KZZT!
"AAAHHH!"
Zombozo screamed in pain, before he laid on the ground. Then, Ben went Fourarms before jumping and smashing him into the ground.
SMASH!
"Ungh!"
Zombozo laid there unconscious and defeated, Ben then switched back into human form. "Good, he's down." said Ben, "Wait, where's Black Jack?!" asked Gwen. "He's most probably now defeated." replied Ben, "Wh-What do you mean?!" Gwen asked further. "Someone told me that someone else had chased him off. Now, let's get this crazy clown behind bars." Ben replied again.
Some time later...
"U-Urgh! D-Dammit! Not again!"
WEE-WOO! WEE-WOO! WEE-WOO! WEE-WOO!
As the police went away with Zombozo, Ben turned to Max and Gwen. But just as he was about to speak up
"Hey, d-did anyone feel something weird while we were asleep?"
"Yeah, kinda feels like I had a bad dream."
Ben knew what that "dream" was, but since it was too horrific for him to tell he just said "Well, whatever. At least it's gone now and we're all back to normal. C'mon guys, let's go home.".
As the sun set once again, the Tennysons went back inside the Rustbucket to head home. They didn't feel like playing in the amusement park anymore after everything that had happened. Before they went in, Ben looked back. He felt the slight breeze of the wind on his face as he looked at the surroundings. "Somewhere someday will be the end of us. And should that time ever come, we shall die valiantly as heroes." he thought before heading into the Rustbucket along with them. Then, Max drove off.
