A/N: This happens when Ben was 20 years old.
It was an average day in the Tennyson Tower, where Ben was relaxing with his wife Catherine and his kids Sean and Hazel. All seemed well, until Ben started to get a call.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
"Hello?"
"Ben, there's no time to waste! Maltruant has gone all the way back to the beginning of the universe to reshape it into his own image!"
"I'll be on my way!"
BEEP!
After Ben hung up, Catherine said "Another mission?". "Y-Yeah, A-And you can't come with me this time. I need someone to watch over the kids." Ben replied, "A-Alright. B-Be back in one piece okay?" Catherine asked further. "I will." Ben replied back, before kissing her forehead. Then, he turned to his kids and added "I've got an errand to run, I'll be back soon.". "Okay papa." Sean and Hazel replied, before Ben patted their heads and started leaving.
A Few Minutes Later...
As soon as Ben started walking down one of the stairs, a blue portal suddenly appeared in front of him. Out came a familiar man.
"Ah, Professor Paradox."
"There's no time to waste Ben. Quickly, before Maltruant succeeds in his plans!"
Ben nodded, before quickly going with Professor Paradox into the portal before it disappeared.
FLASH!
FLASH!
Once Ben and Paradox arrived at their destination, they found themselves in the beginning of the universe. The time before everything went wrong, they arrived just in time to see...
"Sssmelll how sssweeet it isss..."
"I-I mustn't touch it."
"Ha! He just wants to keep you and your husband away from everything He knows. Don't you want to know what it feelsss like to have all the knowledge He hasss? Come on, take a bite. It's alright."
As soon as Lucifer said that in his serpent form, Eve started to reach towards the fruit of the tree known as the "Tree Of Knowledge ". But before she could, Ben yelled "Wait! Stop! Don't touch that! You will doom us all!". "H-Huh?" said Eve confused as she looked towards her right. Just then
SSSS...
"Aah, Ben Tennyson and Professor Paradox. I'm so glad to finally meet you both."
"Cut the crap, moron! We know what you're plannin'!"
"Yesss... I've heard."
"Wait, wasn't Maltruant supposed to be here? If he's here, then where's-"
"Greetings, Ben Tennyson and Paradox."
"Ah, there he is."
"We both knew that the two of you would come here, so we decided to team up together. Lucifer here will ruin the universe's perfection, while I will reshape it into my image after he does that. AHAHAHAHAAA!"
"The both of you won't get away with your plans! It's hero time!"
"I'm afraid you won't have "time" to stop me, the both of us are much, much more powerful than ever before! Time is on our side!"
"Not this time! Goin' hero!"
FLASH!
Weird skin had wrapped around Ben's body, before a small blue eye formed in the middle of his face. The Omnitrix then appeared on his chest, before...
FLASH!
"Ghostfreak!"
"AHAHAHAHA! Even with your ectonurite form, you won't win! As I have stated before, time is on MY side."
FWOOSH!
Ben tried flying fast towards Maltruant to possess him and knock him out. However, before he could get to him Lucifer got to him first. Then
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
"AAAHHH!"
Lucifer went inside Maltruant, before altering his body. He turned him red, and gave him demon wings and a tail. Finally, Lucifer completely fused with Maltruant.
FLASH!
FWOOSH!
RRRAAAGGGHHH!
"Your time is up, Ben Tennyson! Ahahahaaa!"
"I'll get him!"
"And I'll try to stop him!"
Ben tried flying towards Maltruant again. However, Maltruant's time powers proved to make him a harder opponent as it allowed him to move quickly and teleport. Professor Paradox tried using his own time powers, but Maltruant was too quick.
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
"Get back here!"
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
"Oh man! I'm not getting anywhere!"
Just as Ben thought that he wasn't going to get a chance to separate Lucifer and Maltruant, Professor Paradox managed to hit Maltruant with one of his time blasts freezing him in place. Ben then took the opportunity to try and separate him and Lucifer. Unfortunately, his plan didn't work.
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
"AAAHHH!"
FLASH!
"AGH!"
HISSSS...
Ben's skin ended up burning a bit, smoke was coming out from some parts of it. He had failed to separate Lucifer and Maltruant. "Hahahaha! Don't you get it Tennyson?! Together, we are unstoppable! Ahahahaaa!" Maltruant yelled, before laughing psychotically. "Two OR MORE can play at that game!" Ben replied back, before switching to another one of his forms.
FLASH!
"Echo Echo!"
After switching to Echo Echo, Ben started cloning himself before using Sonic Scream at Maltruant.
AAAHHH!
"AAAGGGHHH!"
Maltruant screamed in pain as the surroundings shook, red sparks suddenly started coming out of him. Professor Paradox used his time powers to prevent Ben and his clones' screams from reaching his ears too much.
AAAHHH!
BOOM!
"Argh!"
Maltruant screamed in pain again as a part of him exploded, it was his left shoulder. It sparked and started malfunctioning. However, with Lucifer's help he was able to move it again like nothing happened. "H-Huh?!" said Ben as he looked on with surprise. "I told you, Tennyson. We are unstoppable together! Ahahahahaaa!" Maltruant added, before trying to use a huge time blast towards Ben.
FLASH!
FLASH!
Professor Paradox blocked the time blast using one of his own from his robotic arm. The two blasts then started trying to push against each other trying to reach their targets.
"RRGH!"
"U-Ungh!"
Paradox groaned as he continued to try and hit Maltruant, Ben then took the opportunity to try and possess Maltruant again as Ghostfreak. However
FLASH!
"AGH!"
THUMP!
"Oomph!"
Maltruant managed to redirect both his and Paradox's blasts towards Ben and the Omnitrix, making him fall down. Ben was caught off guard which is why he fell. Suddenly...
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
FLASH!
The Omnitrix suddenly started flashing and making beeping noises, before it emitted a huge blue flash. "-BEN!" Paradox yelled, before the blue flash went away revealing that Ben had disappeared. His clones had disappeared as well, Professor Paradox wondered where he went. Until...
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
"Oh shit-"
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
Ben started teleporting all over the place, changing into a different alien every time he reappeared. "Oh no!" Professor Paradox thought, "It's just you and me now, old man! Hahahahaaa!" laughed Maltruant before he swooped down towards him.
KLANG! KLANG! KLANG! KLANG!
Professor Paradox and Maltruant fought to the death, but there was no clear winner in sight. Both clearly had experience in using time powers.
KLANG! KLANG! KLANG! KLANG!
After a few more minutes, Ben reappeared as one of his most powerful aliens. -Clockwork. When he saw that he was him, he took the chance to stop the Omnitrix from malfunctioning using his time powers. He then reversed what Maltruant did and prepared to fight him by teleporting right in front of him.
FLASH!
"H-Huh?! B-But I thought you were-"
"Tennyson's smarter than you think."
"NOW it's hero time!"
Ben used his time powers to make himself faster, Maltruant did the same thing. Because Maltruant had more experience in being a chronosapien and Lucifer was fused with him, he had the upper hand. However, Ben was no slouch either. He could use all his aliens perfectly to their full potential, including Clockwork.
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
Ben and Maltruant teleported in different areas as they fought each other, they were fast but there was no clear winner in sight currently. Both were skilled in being chronosapiens. Just then
FLASH!
BAM!
"Agh!"
CRASH!
"Ungh!"
Ben managed to punch Maltruant into a rock after he teleported in front of him, Maltruant was weakened a bit since the punch was hard and the crashing towards the rock was even harder. Then
FLASH!
BAM!
"Ungh!"
Ben swooped down fast towards Maltruant and smashed him into the ground even further, smoke flew up after he did. Once the smoke cleared, it revealed that Maltruant had been weakened a bit. Professor Paradox took the chance to immobilize Maltruant using his time powers.
FLASH!
FLASH!
"Fourarms!"
After Maltruant was immobilized, Ben switched to Fourarms. He raised all four of his fists up, before smashing Maltruant into pieces.
"RAAH!"
SMASH!
BOOM!
Maltruant shattered into a million pieces, the pieces scattered everywhere before disappearing in red flashes. "Looks like YOUR time is up!" said Ben after he watched Maltruant's pieces disappear. However...
FWOOSH!
"AHAHAHAHAHAAA!"
Maltruant may have been defeated, but Lucifer had risen back up again! Even though Maltruant was shattered into pieces, he still wasn't defeated. Ben and Paradox still had to do that. "Goin' hero again!" yelled Ben, before switching back to Ghostfreak.
FLASH!
FWOOSH!
Ben tried rushing towards Lucifer again. However, Lucifer quickly flew to the side and managed to stab him with his pitchfork despite him being an ectonurite which can go intangible.
CHAKK!
"AAAHHH!"
THUMP!
"Ungh..."
Ben fell on the ground weakened a bit, Paradox tried to help him but Lucifer was too fast.
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH!
Lucifer was now in his humanoid form, so he could move much, much faster this time. He took a big breath, before spewing a huge blast of fire towards Paradox.
FWOOOSSSHHH!
"AAH!"
Professor Paradox ended up screaming before getting out of the way. He tried avoiding Lucifer's attacks as much and as long as he could, but eventually he got hit on his left shoulder.
FWOOOSSSHHH!
"Agh!"
Part of his clothing was burnt off, and he now had a big burn mark on his shoulder. "Agh..." Professor Paradox groaned as he held his shoulder. He tried to heal it, but he couldn't. He was surprised by this. "No one can escape the pain that I shall create!" yelled Lucifer, before he laughed. Soon, Ben was able to get back up and start fighting him again. Unfortunately, Lucifer was too fast for him as well.
FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH!
FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH!
SLASH!
"Agh!"
Lucifer managed to stab Ben on the chest and make him fall again, there were three huge holes on Ben's chest. Just then
FLASH!
"Clockwork!"
Ben switched to Clockwork, before getting up and trying to use his time powers. Unfortunately, Lucifer managed to block the time blast by spinning his pitchfork around.
FLASH!
FLASH!
Lucifer then swooped down fast, before biting at Ben's body. He managed to rip a huge chunk out of him, leaving him weakened.
CR-R-R-RUNCH!
"Agh!"
Sparks flew out of the damaged parts of Ben's body. Then, he switched to another alien again.
FLASH!
"Upgrade!"
Ben switched to Upgrade, before firing a huge eye laser. Unfortunately, Lucifer was able to dodge that as well. Then, he spewed more fire at Ben.
FWOOOSSSHHH!
Ben liquified himself, before dodging Lucifer's attack. Then, he quickly solidified himself before extending his arm to punch him in the face.
FWOOSH!
BAM!
"Agh!"
THUMP!
Lucifer was knocked out for a moment, Paradox then took the chance to try and immobilize him with another time blast. Unfortunately, Lucifer was able to get back up again and fly high.
FWOOSH!
Lucifer then swooped towards Paradox, before slashing at him with his claws.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
"AGH!"
Blood started dripping from Paradox's body, he was starting to feel weak and dizzy. His vision was blurring and he felt like he was about to fall down.
"Ungh..."
THUMP!
"-PARADOX!"
Ben yelled in shock, before changing into another alien.
FLASH!
"Water Hazard!"
Ben switched to an alien he called "Water Hazard", he then blasted water towards Lucifer while his mouth was open.
FWOOOSSSHHH!
SPLASH!
"AAARRRGGGHHH!"
Lucifer made gargling sounds as water entered his mouth. After Ben stopped spraying water, his fire breath was neutralized temporarily. Lucifer's mouth started smoking after Ben sprayed it with water. He ended up coughing as well.
Paradox then took the chance to immobilize Lucifer using his time powers. This time, he succeeded. As Lucifer was immobilized in place, Ben changed into a very powerful alien before flying towards and punching him into the sky.
FLASH!
"Atomix!"
FWOOSH!
BAM!
"AAAHHH!"
Lucifer ended up flying high and spinning towards the sky. He stayed like this for a while, before spinning towards the ground and crashing there.
CRASH!
Smoke flew up after Lucifer crashed onto the ground. When it cleared, it revealed that Lucifer had been severely weakened. This was Ben and Paradox's chances to finish him, Ben switched back to Clockwork before he and Paradox tried rushing towards Lucifer. However...
FWOOSH!
ROOOAAARRR!
Before Ben and Paradox could reach Lucifer, the evil demon rose back up again in a more powerful form! He became a red dragon-like creature with two huge wings, a long tail with a pointed end and seven dragon-like heads representing the seven deadly sins!
ROOOAAARRR!
Ben and Paradox shuddered in fear as Lucifer finally revealed his true form, but they had to keep on fighting otherwise this could spell the end of the whole universe! The universe would end before it began! Ben and Paradox rushed towards Lucifer again. Unfortunately, Lucifer managed to swat them away with one of his front feet.
FWOOSH!
BAM!
"Agh!"
"Oomph!"
Ben and Paradox hit the ground hard, they were both weakened and couldn't get back up immediately. Lucifer had hit them pretty hard. Ben and Paradox were soon able to get back up, but they didn't know if they would actually be able to defeat Lucifer.
FWOOOSSSHHH!
Lucifer spewed fire again. Ben and Paradox dodged once more, but even that wouldn't help them in the entirety of this battle.
FWOOOSH! FWOOOSH! FWOOOSH!
FLASH!
Ben changed into XLR8, before rushing near Lucifer again and trying to form a speed tornado around him by running around super fast. Unfortunately
FWOOSH!
BAM!
"Agh!"
He was swatted away by Lucifer again, preventing his attack from forming.
THUMP!
"Oomph!"
Lucifer then tried to bite and eat Ben using all of his seven heads. Luckily, Ben was fast enough to avoid them all. However, Lucifer was making this difficult as he wasn't much slower.
CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP!
FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH!
Paradox tried immobilizing Lucifer once again. However, Lucifer did something strange this time. He returned Paradox's time blast back to him, making him the one who would be immobilized instead. Paradox isn't immune to his own powers.
FLASH!
"Agh!"
Paradox was now immobilized, unable to move and do anything. Ben decided that enough was enough and went to try and finish this battle once and for all.
FLASH!
"Clockwork!"
Lucifer saw Ben transform. Then, he took another big breath before letting out another blast of fire from his mouth.
FWOOOSSSHHH!
FLASH!
FLASH!
FWOOSH!
Ben's time blast and Lucifer's flames clashed against each other, they tried to push each other trying to attack their targets. Just then
FLASH!
"AAAGGGHHH!"
Ben managed to make his time blast hit Lucifer, who was now immobilized. Taking the chance, Ben decided to use another time blast on him to finish the job. However...
FLASH!
FWOOSH!
FLASH!
Lucifer had managed to return Ben's time blast back to him, hitting the Omnitrix and making him disappear and reappear as different aliens again.
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
"Shit- Not again-!"
Ben kept on disappearing and reappearing as different aliens once more. Eventually, he reappeared as Clockwork once more. He then took the chance to use Clockwork's time powers to reverse what Lucifer did to him and get back in the fight.
FLASH!

"Persistent little shit!"
FWOOOSSSHHH!
FLASH!
After Ben teleported in front of Lucifer, the evil demon tried spewing fire at him again. Ben then teleported once more to avoid the flames. He then kept on teleporting into different places to confuse and make Lucifer dizzy.
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
"-HOLD STILL YOU LITTLE-"
FWOOOSSSHHH!
Lucifer tried burning Ben alive. However, he was too fast. Eventually, he started to get dizzy. With all of his seven heads trying to catch and burn Ben, they eventually got tangled up into each other.
FWOOSH!
"U-Urgh!"
With all of Lucifer's heads tangled up, Ben took the chance to deal the finishing blow. He tried using a huge time blast once more.
FLASH!
Lucifer knew that he wouldn't last much longer. His heads were all tangled and he was severely weakened from all of Ben and Paradox's attacks combined. So he did the only thing he could think of and had enough strength left to do. He returned Ben's blast back to him.
FLASH!
FWOOSH!
After Lucifer redirected Ben's blast back to him, he made it split in two so that the other one would hit Paradox. With that, Ben and Paradox were sent back to the present.
FLASH!
FLASH!
After Ben and Paradox were sent back to the present time, they looked around. They saw that everything was as it was before. But that wouldn't be that way for long.
CRASH! BAM! SMASH!
After Ben and Paradox returned to the present, they saw Maltruant trashing and smashing the surroundings! How he returned from being destroyed into a million pieces wasn't really known, perhaps something time power-related happened.
CRASH! SMASH! CRASH!
"-MALTRUANT!"
"H-Huh?!"
Maltruant was surprised when he looked back to see Ben and Paradox, "-You two again?!" he shouted. Then, Ben and Paradox went into action. Ben was back in human form again, so he turned into Clockwork once more.
FLASH!
"It's hero time once again!"
"The both of you will NOT stop me!"
FLASH!
FLASH!
Ben and Maltruant fired huge time blasts towards each other. The two time blasts stopped each other from moving, trying to push back against one another and reach their targets. Paradox tried to help Ben, but Maltruant redirected Ben's blast making his help useless.
FLASH!
BOOM!
The blasts hit a part of a building, making it old and crumble into dust. Ben then dashed towards Maltruant before trying to punch him. However, Maltruant could move as fast as him so it was useless. Ben and Maltruant ended up on a one-on-one battle.
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
While Ben and Maltruant were fighting, Paradox tried to help Ben once again. However, the battle was going on too fast for him to be able to actually help. So no real progress was made regarding helping Ben.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
After a while, Ben managed to teleport in front of Maltruant before giving him a hard and fast energy-charged uppercut.
FLASH!
FWOOSH!
BAM!
"AAAHHH!"
FWOOOSSSHHH!
CRASH!
Maltruant ended up flying high in the air, before crashing down onto the ground hard. Smoke flew up after he did. When it cleared, it revealed that he was weakened enough to the point where one more good attack would knock him out. Ben decided to deliver that.
"Hey Maltruant, guess what time it is? It's hero time!"
FLASH!
BOOM!
With one swift hard energy-charged punch, Ben shattered Maltruant into a million pieces. They flew into the air, scattering on the ground before disappearing and leaving traces of red flashes.
FLASH!
With Maltruant gone, the world was safe once again. Ben and Paradox may not have completed their goal of restoring the world's perfection, but they managed to save the present.
Some Time Later...
Ben and Paradox inspected the area after Ben defeated Maltruant. Everything was safe now, the damage had been repaired and the messes had been cleaned up. With Earth safe once again, everyone would be able to continue their lives like normal.
"Y'know Ben, there's no villain in the world that can beat you now!"
"-Except the literal devil. He managed to send me and Paradox back here while we were trying to restore perfection to the world."
"Well, at least you managed to save the present."
"Yeah..."
Ben may not have restored perfection to the world like he and Paradox intended, but at least he managed to save the present. With this, everybody would be able to continue with their lives. And Ben would continue to save lives and the universe in the future.
