Ben was slowly gaining more and more fame towards the people. However, some people were skeptical and even hated him. Some said he was just a reckless child looking for trouble, others said that he was a child being used as a child soldier and being exploited for labor. The certain man was none other than Dr. Animo! Ever since he started wanting to get revenge on Ben, he'd been thinking of ways to do it. And he thought a good way to do it was to get him framed and ruin his reputation. So that's what he did. In one of his fights, he managed to get a strand of Ben's hair. That was all he needed to create this perfect clone. The purpose of this clone was obvious and simple. To follow Animo's orders, to cause chaos and to frame Ben. "HAHAHAHAHA! At long last! My revenge is near!" Animo said as he laughed psychotically. Just then...
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
Soon, the clone of Ben was complete. The chamber then released him. This clone was simply called "Evil Ben". Then, Animo said "Now, you'll do what I say Evil Ben.". "Of course, what is your command?" Evil Ben asked, "Frame your original counterpart and ruin his life!" Animo replied. Without hesitation, Evil Ben used his Omnitrix copy to turn into his version of Stinkfly. Then, he flew off to do what Animo said.
A Few Hours Later...
Evil Ben was wreaking havoc across Bellwood. He destroyed property, flipped police cars and stole as much food as he could. "Crime pays! Oh yeah!" he said while he was in Fourarms form and eating from a broken vending machine. Just then...
SCREEECCCHHH!
The Rustbucket drifted near him. Then, Max, Gwen and the real Ben Tennyson came out. "Alright, just what the hell do you think you're doing you faker?!" Ben asked angrily. "Oh, I guess you must've heard of me by now. I'm you, but better." Evil Ben replied, before he slammed on his Omnitrix.
FLASH!
Evil Ben's eyes fused into one, before his head turned upside-down. Ugly, jagged teeth formed in his mouth, before black linings started forming on his skin. Huge claws grew on his fingers, before the Omnitrix copy's symbol appeared on his chest.
"Ghostfreak!"
Evil Ben's Ghostfreak was different from the real Ben's, it looked much more scarier. The real Ben's Ghostfreak didn't have a mouth, and his head wasn't upside-down. Also, he was much less scarier than his evil counterpart.
With this, Evil Ben started to try and attack Ben. However, Ben managed to quickly transform as well.
FLASH!
"Ghostfreak!"
Ben started turning into Ghostfreak as well. Then, he and Evil Ben started fighting each other.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
"RAAAHHH!"
FWOOSH!
Ben and Evil Ben fought against each other hard, they struggled to take each other down. Max and Gwen tried to help, but they couldn't do much of anything. Ghostfreak was intangible. And Evil Ben was just as powerful as the real Ben. The only difference was that he was much more cruel and cunning.
Evil Ben opened up his body, before he tried to make his tentacles grab Ben. Luckily, Ben was able to fly high. Just then, Evil Ben switched forms.
FLASH!
"XLR8!"
FWOOSH!
Evil Ben switched to XLR8, before rushing off from the scene. Ben knew that Evil Ben was going to come back, so he switched forms as well.
FLASH!
"Cannonbolt!"
After Ben switched to Cannonbolt, he prepared for when Evil Ben was going to come back. And sure enough, he did. As Evil Ben was preparing to launch a super fast attack on Ben, Ben anticipated him and grabbed him before rolling with him.
FWOOSH!
"RAAAHHH!"
FWOOSH! RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE!
As Ben was rolling with Evil Ben, he jumped into the air before crashing into the ground. This stunned and weakened Evil Ben a bit.
FWOOSH!
CRASH!
RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE!
"Ungh..."
After Ben let go of Evil Ben, Ben switched to Fourarms before giving Evil Ben a quick and hard two-armed uppercut.
"RAAAHHH!"
BAM!
Evil Ben flew high in the sky, before he crashed into the ground. Then, Ben tried smashing him into the ground even more. However, Evil Ben turned into his version of Wildvine before giving him a quick punch from extending his left arm.
"RAAAHHH!"

FWOOSH!
BAM!
Ben was stunned and slightly weakened, Evil Ben could punch. Then, Evil Ben turned into his version of Diamondhead and started firing blue diamond spikes.
FLASH!
BANG-BANG-BANG-BANG-BANG-BANG!
"Agh!"
This caused Ben to back up a bit, blood was dripping from his arms. He used them to defend himself temporarily from Evil Ben's sudden attack. Now Ben was pissed. He turned into XLR8, before attacking Evil Ben fast.
FLASH!
"YAAH!"
BAM!
"Agh!"
"Hahaha!"
Suddenly, Gwen and Max heard someone laugh a bit from the distance. When they looked over to see who did, they saw Animo. "Looks like he's leveled up to using humans!" said Gwen, "C'mon! Let's stop him!" Max replied before he and Gwen started trying to do that. Animo became surprised that Gwen and Max found him, but he was prepared. He took out his blaster and got ready to fight again.
PEW! PEW! PEW! PEW! PEW! PEW!

Both Max and Gwen tried stopping Animo. However, Animo was a little bit better than before. "You two are annoying pests! Go away!" Animo shouted, before he tried firing at Max's head. However, Max was able to dodge and roll to the side. Just then...
"Sonoris Fieros!"

"AAAHHH!"
Gwen used a fire spell, this caused Animo to flinch and scream. While Animo was distracted, Max put him in a chokehold before body slamming him to the ground. Max's weight made extra damage towards Animo, I guess you should never underestimate ex-plumbers even when they're out of shape.
"HEEYAAH!"

"Agh!"
"L-Let me go you little-!" Animo yelled as he struggled to get out of Max's grip. However, Max was still as strong as ever. And he wasn't letting go. Then...
"Grandpa! Let him go!"
Gwen told Max to let Animo go, which he did. Max knew that Gwen had something in mind. -And she did. She uttered "Sonoris Aeros!".

A huge gust of wind was sent towards Animo, it sent him flying high in the air and screaming. Just then, Max fired at Animo's devices.

Max managed to destroy Animo's devices while he was flying high in the air. After that, Animo fell down on the ground hard. "Ungh..." he groaned as he tried to get up, but he was too weak to do so. Then...

Gwen used the ice spell once again, this froze Animo in a huge solid block of ice. Now, he was immobilized. All that was left to do was to defeat Evil Ben, which the real Ben was currently trying to do.

"Agh!"
Ben just unleashed some combo punches at Evil Ben. Just then, Evil Ben started fighting back and unleashing some combos of his own.

As the two Bens were fighting, a certain cop and his fellow teammates came into the scene. -It was Cross and the other cops! "I knew that kid couldn't be truste- WH-WHAT?!" said Cross, but before he could finish his sentence he saw the two Bens battling each other. "-WH-WHAT?!" Cross thought as he saw all of this happen before him.
"YAAH!"
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
"Agh!"
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
"Th-There's two of 'em?!" Cross thought even further. Now he and the cops had a problem in their hands, they didn't know which one was the real Ben. They couldn't shoot unless they knew, or they would probably accidentally shoot the real Ben. Just then...
"Gracitis Yafitis!"

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
"Agh!"
Gwen used a hail spell on Evil Ben, forcing him to back up a bit. This gave the real Ben a chance to punch him in the head hard. Just then, the real Ben said "You think you can frame me and get away with it?!". "Yep." Evil Ben replied tauntingly, before he unleashed a surprise punch on Ben using his two lower arms. The real Ben was sent falling down into the road.
"There! There!" yelled Cross, before he and the other cops started firing at Evil Ben. However, bullets didn't really work against tetramands (Fourarms' species). Evil Ben then started charging at Cross and the cops. "Watch it! Watch it!" Cross yelled, before he and the other cops got out of the way. Then, Evil Ben smashed up some police cars. -Including Cross'. "Not again!" said Cross as he saw his ride get smashed and flipped over. Just then...
"HEEEYAAAHHH!"
THUMP!
"Oomph!"
Ben managed to tackle Evil Ben and make him fall to the road once more. Then, he started beating Evil Ben up. But Evil Ben was tough and wasn't going down that easily. Evil Ben was resisting. Just then...
"Shadallah!"
FWOOOSSSHHH!

"Oomph!"
Gwen used the shadow energy spell and sent Evil Ben crashing on the road, he was severely weakened. Max then inserted power net shells into his blasters, before he fired them towards Evil Ben.
CHAKK-CHAKK!

KZZT! KZZT-KZZZTTT!
"AAAHHH!"
The power nets captured and electrocuted Evil Ben, dealing the finishing blow and defeating him. Ben then picked Evil Ben up by his shirt, before giving him the hardest punch he could towards the face.
"HEEYAAAHHH!"

THUMP!
"Oomph!"
Evil Ben was finally stopped. However, Ben was now bleeding. And not just on his arms.

Both Bens' Omnitrices (plural for Omnitrix) timed out, and the real Ben's arms were still bleeding. Max and Gwen quickly rushed to him to help him heal the bleeding with healing potions. Back then, healing potions were super essential for a plumber. There weren't many cures for severe injuries back in the day, so the chances of dying were higher. Max kept what was left of the healing potions from the 19's all these years just in case he would ever need them again. And this is the perfect time to use them.
Ben's bleeding stopped. However, both Animo and Evil Ben continued to lay on the ground with their injuries. But then, something strange happened. Evil Ben started crumbling to dust along with his Omnitrix copy, I guess that's because he was made by someone as crazy as Animo. "Well, guess that's the last of him. The world only needs one Ben." said Ben, before he, Gwen and Max walked off. Meanwhile, Animo was taken away by the police once more. "You picked the wrong day to do crime." said Cross as Animo was taken to the cop car and taken away.
"Well, gotta say you three did a mighty fine job. I guess we were wrong about you guys."
"Don't worry about it, we knew you and your fellow cops would have some doubts. But like we said, we're only trying to help."
"And you three did exactly that today."
After Cross said those words to the Tennysons, someone pulled over in a blue car.
VROOOM!
SCREEECH!
This is Lieutenant Steel, "Report." he said to Cross. "Situation cleared, an evil duplicate of Ben attacked the town. Now, he's gone and won't be comin' back. Ever." Cross replied, "Good. Now then, let's leave our superhero friends to their business." Lt. Steel continued before he, Cross and the other cops went off.
Meanwhile, the Tennysons were left to get back to their business once again. Ben's reputation had been saved, and everything was alright once more.
